[Love of Petals]

[Episode 21]

[The Tomb of Wushuang]

Pingkang,

you haven't eaten or drunk anything for two days.

You will die if you keep this up.

Wushuang

wanted

you to live well.

You can't go on like this.

You can't give up on yourself, Pingkang.

I can't find her

anywhere.

Now,

I just want to see Wushuang one more time.

Unfortunately,

only in dreams can we meet again.

But I can't control my dreams.

Perhaps

only here can I dream of her.

Pingkang.

Pingkang.

Sun Pingkang,

Wushuang was a heroine who lived a free and easy life.

If she saw you so dispirited,

she would have thought she had been blind

and misjudged you.

Now, the Sun Family is facing trouble

but you're here avoiding your responsibilities.

You've given all the burden to Qingcheng.

Can you face Wushuang with a clear conscience?

Just leave.

Pingkang.

Give him some time.

Sun Pingkang.

Sun Pingkang.

It is said that

the bellflower can transmit sound over a thousand miles.

If there's anything urgent,

you can talk to it.

Sun Pingkang,

I miss

you.

Wushuang.

Wushuang.

Wushuang, don't leave! Wushuang!

Wushuang?

Wushuang.

Wushuang.

Wushuang.

Wushuang.

Wushuang.

Wushuang.

Wushuang.

Wait for me.

Once I've settled the things of my family,

I'll come to be with you.

You stinky monkey, cheating is not allowed.

If you lose, you have to drink.

I didn't cheat!

Why are you looking at me?

Drink up!

You're even worse than me.

Come on. One more time.

Cheating is not allowed.

You cheated again.

I didn't play tricks.

Use your left hand. Left hand!

Come on, man!

You can use your right hand, too.

Don't tell them Wushuang died.

Just tell them that I sent Wushuang

on a long journey to handle something for me.

Okay.

How nice it would be if everyone could be so carefree forever.

Knowing the truth will only make them sad.

I just hope

we can all be together forever.

I hope all nine of us

can

spend every New Year's Eve together.

I want to marry a beautiful girl this year.

People always make wishes

to the wishing tree.

But they don't know that the more hopeful they are,

the more likely they are to be disappointed.

Sometimes, even when making a wish,

they already know

the wish is impossible to come true.

So what did you wish for?

I want everything

to start over.

I hope you

and the demons in the Qingcheng Flower Nursery

can live a healthy,

happy and free life.

I also hope Qingcheng and I

could go back to the day we first met.

You're not good at being sentimental.

Ye You,

please take good care of the demons in the Qingcheng Flower Nursery

and Qingcheng for me.

No.

If you let me take care of them...

This is also my home.

It's my duty to take care of them.

As for Qingcheng,

I've long considered her as my younger sister.

You've watched over me for hundreds of years,

so I should say

thank you.

Thank you for taking care of me all these years.

Well,

you

want to use several words to thank me

for what I did in the past hundreds of years?

Don't you like aged wine?

It's all yours from now on.

♫Light, still lingering♫

Okay.

♫For the days and nights are too brief♫

♫Before we share the rain's refrain♫

Lyu Gengyun.

♫A falling star, two eyes embrace♫

Tell me.

Everything in this world has dreams.

♫In this world, blossoms fall like dreams, countless as the stars♫

♫Yet no radiant light compares to the grace of your gaze♫

Can I dream, too?

♫Through storm and snow, love carves its trace♫

♫Reluctantly, I take one last lingering look♫

♫I vow to stay, through time and tide♫

♫Like morning dew, unswayed, untried♫

The wine doesn't taste good.

♫A single tear, a thousand words♫

No more.

♫Enter your dreams♫

Everything started because of me.

♫Then, I know you love me♫

It's time to end it all.

♫I suddenly have a thought♫

Qingcheng,

♫Love means I should protect you♫

forgive me for acting on my own.

As for the Luowei Flower Seed you mentioned last time,

I can help you get it.

In addition, I will

take my own life as you planned.

But you have to promise me

to help Gu Qingcheng in her immortal cultivation,

and not to harm anyone around me.

Tell me where the flower seed is first.

I don't know where it is.

But there's a Fairy Cave on Shouyang Mountain.

You may find what you're looking for there.

Now, can you make a promise?

Alright,

I promise you.

Take it.

You'll turn into dew before sunset.

From now on,

Lyu Gengyun will no longer exist in this world.

Master,

it's not raining today.

Why do I suddenly hear the sound of rain?

This is an All-sound Conch.

It can help you hear the sounds of everything in the world.

So what sound is this?

This is the sound of rain in the West Lake.

At this moment, the West Lake

is raining.

Master,

we made a promise

to go boating on the West Lake.

If nothing had happened

to my family,

we would be there by now.

But it's alright.

I heard the sound of rain in the West Lake.

It could make up for the regret.

Listen.

Master,

what's that sound?

It's the sound of a falling star.

I didn't know falling stars have sounds.

Of course, they do.

The stars in the sky

are too far away from us.

Normally, we can't hear their sounds.

That's wonderful.

Master,

I know you're trying to cheer me up.

But right now,

I don't know what to do.

I need to find a solution.

I can't figure out how to deal with

the strange illness affecting everyone in the Sun's Mansion.

I have a way.

Really?

What's your solution?

Qingcheng,

we made a promise

that whatever happens,

we will face it together,

and we can't deceive each other, right?

I know how to save everyone in the Sun's Mansion.

They've been afflicted by an extremely rare flower poison.

We need an extremely rare thousand-year-old flower dew to cure them.

Thousand-year-old flower dew?

Isn't it like the thousand-year-old frost on tiles

and the ten-thousand-year-old wall soil?

Nobody

has ever seen these things.

Qingcheng,

we've listened to the rain falling in the West Lake together,

the sounds made by horses' hooves,

and even the sounds of falling stars.

Can you consider that

I haven't broken my promise,

and I've taken you to see

beautiful landscapes?

What do you mean?

Master,

what do you mean?

Although no one has seen the thousand-year-old flower dew,

floral demons that have cultivated for over a thousand years

can condense themselves into dew

to cure the flower poison.

What are you talking about?

We've been through

so many things together,

visited so many magical places,

and seen so many rare flowers and precious plants.

We can find

the thousand-year-old flower dew.

I...

I...

I'll go find Immortal Yuxiao.

He's the Flower God.

He must have a way.

Qingcheng,

if my life

could save so many people who accompanied you in your growth.

♫How can we predict the separation and reunion?♫

I would at least be a hero once.

♫I'm obsessed with you in every life♫

I don't want you to be a hero.

Didn't we agree

♫Can you recall the traces of our bond?♫

to live on

for each other?

♫How do you see through the means of fate?♫

♫The mortal world is our chess board and we have some regrets♫

Good girl.

Qingcheng.

♫Longings are blooming all over the lake again♫

♫Time can solve all problems♫

♫But it just stands by♫

♫I'm willing to use all my courage♫

There are many important things

♫For the happiness of the next life♫

you have to do.

You must remember

♫For you♫

♫I'm willing to keep searching with joy and sorrow♫

my words.

♫With you♫

After I turn into dew,

♫It's never too late as long as we are together♫

you must collect it carefully

♫In dreams, fleeting as flowers, may we turn and look back♫

and give it to those in need.

♫Spring returns, and our reunion shining bright at last♫

And you have to

♫A path home, paved with petals so grand♫

♫I know you're waiting on the other end♫

♫Just as I have wished♫

promise me

♫Just as I have wished♫

to take good care of yourself, my love.

Be happy and joyful

♫How do you see through the means of fate?♫

for the rest of your life.

♫The mortal world is our chess board and we have some regrets♫

♫Longings are blooming all over the lake again♫

Master.

♫Time can solve all problems♫

What have you done, Master?

♫But it just stands by♫

Master,

♫I'm willing to use all my courage♫

you can't be so cruel to me.

♫For the happiness of the next life♫

You can't leave me.

♫For you♫

♫I'm willing to keep searching with joy and sorrow♫

Lyu Gengyun!

You can't leave me.

♫With you♫

♫It's never too late as long as we are together♫

Lyu Gengyun.

♫In dreams, fleeting as flowers, may we turn and look back♫

Let go of me

♫Spring returns, and our reunion shining bright at last♫

Take good care of yourself.

♫A path home, paved with petals so grand♫

Without you,

how can I save the Black-jointed Grass?

how could I have come this far without you?

♫I know you're waiting on the other end♫

♫Just as I have wished♫

♫For you♫

♫It's never too late as long as we are together♫

Don't go.

♫In dreams, fleeting as flowers, may we turn and look back♫

Don't leave me.

♫Spring returns, and our reunion shining bright at last♫

♫A path home, paved with petals so grand♫

♫I know you're waiting on the other end♫

♫Just as I have wished♫

Lyu Gengyun!

Lyu Gengyun!

♫Just as I have wished♫

Lyu Gengyun!

Master!

You

are not my master.

But he left a letter for you.

Qingcheng,

what you are seeing now

is my tear crystal,

which is also a letter left in your heart.

Do you remember the moment we first met?

You mistook me for an immortal lord.

Your Excellency,

please accept my bow.

And the people I despise the most

are the immortals in the Heavenly Realm.

After that,

♫Get love in the world of mortals♫

our story began.

When I first arrived in the mortal world,

♫Listen to the words of flowers through the years♫

everything was strange and distant to me.

Master,

you look quite different today.

It was your trust and companionship

♫Having eye contact with you, it's like we've gone back to the moment we first met♫

that made me feel the warmth of the mortal world.

Everyone thought

♫I fell in love with you at first glance. I've been looking for you for thousands of years♫

I was a cold

and ruthless person.

All things follow their destined path.

I can't interfere in mortal affairs.

♫Wind follows water, asking the flower spirit♫

Since I was young,

I've always been alone.

I'm used to being introverted

♫Years pass, yet we are fortunate to reunite♫

to protect myself.

Master, you are here.

But after I met you,

♫A blessed land, moonlight shines on two shadows♫

I suddenly realized

I'm no longer alone.

♫Love fills the city, inseparable like shadows♫

Someone is thinking of me,

and missing me.

♫Evergreen like the bond we share♫

Forgetting is more terrifying than separation by death.

♫Liuli grass sways, carrying my longing♫

As long as I love someone,

I am happy.

Master,

♫Fate turns, time flows like a waterwheel♫

the spider silk is poisonous.

In fact, all these years,

I didn't know what love was.

♫Peonies bloom, stars shine deep in the clouds♫

But since I met you,

I discovered that longing for a loved one

is the best nourishment for life.

It feels so good to be in someone's thoughts.

Please don't be sad.

As long as you miss me,

I'll always be by your side.

I believe that my little gardener

can revive

nine thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine little flowers to

become the best flower fairy in the world,

and live a life as beautiful as blooming flowers.

Master,

♫Wind follows water, asking the flower spirit♫

I will

say goodbye to you with a smile.

♫Years pass, yet we are fortunate to reunite♫

I will

do what I should do.

♫A blessed land, moonlight shines on two shadows♫

All right.

♫Love fills the city, inseparable like shadows♫

The illusion will finally dissipate.

With a loved one by your side,

♫Evergreen like the bond we share♫

the sky is not high,

and the sea is not deep.

Gu Qingcheng,

♫Liuli grass sways, carrying my longing♫

I wish you peace and happiness.

♫Fate turns, time flows like a waterwheel♫

You too.

♫Peonies bloom, stars shine deep in the clouds♫

Father.

Father.

Mother.

It's alright now.

Father, Mother,

since you woke up,

you will recover after

taking a few more doses of medicine,

Don't worry.

I feel better now.

Pingkang, what are you doing?

Father,

Mother,

forgive your unfilial son.

Isn't everything alright now?

Yes, it is.

Get up, get up.

Come on.

Pingkang,

what are you doing?

Your father and I have recovered.

Everything is fine now.

Yes.

It's all right.

It's okay, it's okay.

Right.

Pingkang,

you know what,

those who survive great calamities

are bound to have good fortune.

From now on,

we

must be happy

and joyful.

Dear.

Yes.

There's no hurdle we can't overcome.

Good boy.

I'm sorry.

Mother.

No.

Good boy.

Alright, Pingkang.

Come on.

Come on.

My Lady.

Look,

the flowers have come back to life.

Be careful.

Like this.

Move a bit more to the left.

[Sun's Mansion]

Finally, it's over.

Dear, look at the courtyard.

Slow down, slow down.

It's wonderful!

A little more to the left.

Has someone been arranged to clean the backyard?

Yes.

Be quick and efficient.

Everything has been arranged.

Everyone's illnesses have been cured.

We must have a grand celebration.

Let's get rid of the bad luck.

Yes.

Dear.

Clean everything up.

Wash away the bad luck.

Yes, My Lord.

Slow down.

Where's Qingcheng?

Qingcheng?

She's over there.

Look!

Rainbow.

Look.

Dear.

Rainbow.

Rainbow.

Dear.

Slow down.

I love rainbows the most.

So beautiful.

It's beautiful.

This is a good omen, Dear.

Wish us great fortune and prosperity.

Great fortune and prosperity.

I hope I can stay with My Lady forever.

Great fortune and prosperity.

This is a sign of great fortune.

Master,

is it you who came back?

After extreme misfortune comes extreme good fortune.

Everything will go smoothly from now on.

Master,

will you be waiting for me

at the other end of the rainbow?

Everyone, have a good rest.

Say thanks to My Lord.

Thank you, My Lord.

Thank you, Eldest Madam.

Bless the Sun Family.

This is a great omen.

Peace and safety.

Good.

After extreme misfortune comes extreme good fortune.

What good fortune!

Dear,

it's a joyous day.

Indeed.

Good.

Okay. Okay.

That's wonderful. Thank you.

It's so beautiful.

It looks amazing.

I wish I could see rainbows every day.

Master,

all this joy is because of you,

but it has nothing to do with me.

Don't worry,

I will do what I have to do.
