Greetings friends, how are things?

Welcome to a new episode.

In today's video I want to share with

you the complete gallery of the last wedding

I photographed in Bogotá.

Specifically, Adriana and Jason's wedding.

It was a wedding, as I told you,

in Bogotá on March 27th.

The whole wedding was held at the Pozo

Chico farm.

It is a very beautiful farm with many

photographic possibilities.

Before showing you the complete gallery, I would

like to tell you that the whole wedding

took place on the same farm.

This means that both Jason's wedding and Adriana's

wedding were held on the same farm.

As you can imagine, this helped a lot

and made everything twice as simple.

We could say that the wedding itself was

a normal wedding, except that there was a

first look.

The first look happened right after the getting

ready.

After the getting ready, as you will see,

we took a few family photos.

Then we did a little report or a

little session.

The couple didn't want to waste a lot

of time during the cocktail or reception.

That's why you're going to see pictures of

the couple's report before the ceremony.

Having said all this, I'm going to start

by telling you that the wedding was not

only photographed by me.

My friend Cristian Cardona helped me.

If you don't know who Cristian Cardona is,

I highly recommend him.

He is a great Colombian photographer.

He also helped me with another photographer named

Luis Tobar.

Tobar with a V.

He is a Venezuelan photographer, although he has

been living in Colombia for several years.

The wedding started very early in the morning.

We started with the preparations very early.

We were already taking these images at 6

.30 in the morning.

I was mainly in charge of photographing everything

that happened to the bride, for example.

Luis Tobar and Cristian Cardona were in charge

of photographing everything that happened to the groom

and all his friends and family.

I'm going to show you a little bit.

I'm going to stop in some photo that

caught my attention and that seems more attractive

to me.

What you are seeing, remember, is the entire

gallery that we have delivered to the couple.

The gallery was delivered just yesterday and the

couple is very happy with the result.

As you can see, the groom and his

friends were already getting ready.

What I wanted to convey to Cristian and

Luis is that I would like everything to

be as documentary as possible.

That we do not disturb the couple as

such, both the groom and the bride's team.

What you are seeing is a little bit

of all this, such as it was photographed.

Of course, you are going to see photographs

like this, in which it is complicated for

me to show this on my social networks.

But then you are also going to see

both family photographs and detailed photographs.

That's why I'm telling you that what you

are going to see here is a complete

gallery.

From the moment we started working at 6

.30 in the morning until we finished, which

was probably 9 or 8 o'clock at

night.

Our mission was to photograph as many moments

as possible.

Not only of the grooms, but also of

the people around them.

For example, I always convey this to my

future clients.

That we are not only going to photograph

what happens with the couple as such.

We will always be emphasizing and photographing those

people who always surround the grooms.

As you can see, it may be that

capturing moments is more or less good.

Or more or less a good photographer, depending

on what details you are going to see.

Well, that's it.

But you see that it's not just about

going back.

We may take this photo.

For me, this photo has no graphic appeal.

But remember that we are working for the

couple.

For me, this is the moment when Jason

puts on the shoes.

In which we are already documenting perfectly.

We have the shoes, we have the child,

we have the father of the child who

looks at him and a fourth person in

the background.

We always have to be clear that if

we photograph details, it is perfect.

But I always like the details to be

photographed next to the human being who is

going to carry those details.

And you are already seeing.

I keep showing what we were delivering.

We are still in what was, for example,

the Getting Ready.

As an anecdote, it seemed so funny to

me to be in the country or in

one of the countries that produces the greatest

amount of drugs.

The truth is that when I saw this,

I wanted to make a little allegory or

a similarity to the country where I was.

I really like this portrait of Cristian Cardona

a lot.

And you see all these captured moments.

From how Jason was dressing to how Adriana

is with her sisters.

I keep moving forward and you are seeing

a little bit of what we were doing.

While I was meeting the girls, here we

have most of the photos that you are

seeing of the boys who were captured by

Luis and Cristian.

The good thing about working three photographers is

that, as you are going to see, there

is a visual richness, a very great documentary

richness.

But of course, working three photographers with a

videographer can sometimes be complex.

Because at all times you have companions close

to the action.

So, avoiding them and that they do not

come out in tour photos is quite complicated.

In my case, there was no photo of

the bride's dress hanging, but I asked Adriana

to go out with all the girls.

Because I thought it could be more interesting

to try to have something more like this.

Something more natural, in quotes, of course, than

a hanging dress.

I wanted to photograph the girls with the

dress and especially the bride with her dress.

You know that I always think that it

is super important to photograph something more than

a hanging dress, but everything that surrounds it.

And here you are seeing all kinds of

portraits.

As you can see, you are going to

see a lot of portraits, but it is

what the couple asked us.

And you are also going to see how

you are seeing many moments.

I always say that a wedding is 10,

12, 14 hours and there is time for

everything.

There is time to capture moments, there is

time to make portraits, there is time to

make details, there is time for everything.

As you are seeing, from a photograph, this

I suppose is Christian's because I would never

shoot vertically.

It is something that never ends up convincing

me or liking.

And now yes, now we have the bride

a little bit here, about to get dressed.

Of course, photos of Jason with his mother,

which are as important to us as a

portrait or any other photo could be.

All the photos were edited by me or

have been edited by me.

Therefore, what I asked Christian to give me

all the rows and I asked Luis Tobar

to give me all his rows to edit

them myself.

Why me?

Because I prefer that the same person edits

them and in this way everything is unified

more.

That is, the style of editing, for example,

is better.

Otherwise, Luis has a different style from mine

and Christian, although Christian and I are similar

in editing, but I would prefer that it

was me who edited.

These photos that you are seeing now are

the photos of the first look.

Here we were three photographers, of course.

Let's see if you can see Christian, but

Christian is right in the area where I

am marking now.

There was Christian.

These photos were taken by Luis Tobar on

the other side and I was right in

front.

In the end, the bride was very excited,

as you are seeing.

There were quite a few tears, although I

am sure that she will not like this

photo because of the double chin.

Surely it does not convince her, but for

me the moment that beauty as such is

more important.

After the first look, we had a short

session, very quick, about 15-20 minutes maximum.

I'm going to show you.

The truth is that at that moment I

was not 100% inspired.

It was not because I did not feel

like it, but I was not 100%.

That was true.

We did a few.

While I was doing all the portraits, Christian

was in charge of doing all the details.

I have already told you that for me

it is super important that the boyfriends have

the best possible memory.

Of course, this is not my style as

such, but remember that as I have told

you so many times, always here on Patreon,

we are working for the boyfriends and they

may have invested a lot of money in

all these details.

Therefore, in everything they have invested money, you

have to photograph it because it is really

important.

I was still taking the portrait photos.

For me it is sacred and it is

super important to capture all kinds of off

moments, like the ones you are seeing now.

What happens before we do portraits?

If everyone is going to pose, for example,

I am not only interested in those pose

photos, but look at what my DNA is.

To pose, yes, to take family photos as

you are going to see, but I have

all my energy in those off moments, as

I am going to show you.

For example, here we have another one.

Before that group photo is prepared, I want

to capture all this.

There is still a photo that I am

feel really proud.

angle, but from several.

In fact, here they were supporting me, for

example, both Luis and Cristian.

That is, I was in charge of this

one, but they both wanted them to be

doing this kind of thing.

That for me, before we photographed the wedding,

I explained it clearly.

I don't just want portrait photos, but I

want this kind of photos.

What happens before and what happens later, like

this one that I captured and that I

really like.

It was the moment when the wedding planner

came.

And how I was handing over the bouquets

and all this.

And when we finished with the first look,

when the group photos were finished, what happened

was that each of them, that is, the

boyfriend with his friends, went to a room

and the girlfriend with her friends went to

another room.

With the girlfriend, we still took the opportunity

to make some portraits.

With the boyfriends, well, they drank some beers,

some whiskeys.

And we were a little bit, well, they,

I mean, Luis and Cristian took advantage of

that.

And I took the opportunity to make some

portraits around here, like the one you are

seeing.

I like this one.

I don't like this one because it doesn't

look good.

The angle is not the good one.

The lens is not, I think it was

a 35, it is not the right one.

The light, obviously, neither.

We continue with the details.

I know, there are a lot of details,

but they have to be there and they

are totally necessary.

And I love photos like this.

The mother looking, the mother waiting.

Well, all the guests arrive.

A good professional, without a doubt.

Everything was very well organized.

Perfectly.

Only as a not so positive note, right?

That he took us, he ordered too many

things and took us.

Here in Spain we say, tied a short,

right?

I don't know how to translate that in

English or another language.

But tied a short means that he controlled

us too much, right?

But I liked how he worked.

The ceremony or the church, as you are

seeing, was a round place.

Here we have my friend Luis Tovar.

Here he was on one side.

I was just in a slightly elevated position.

And Cristian Cardona behind.

Okay?

I'm going to keep moving forward a little

bit.

Here we have, here we have the moment.

If you wonder why Cristian is not here,

it's because I cloned him.

Okay?

Having so many photos, having, as you are

seeing, several images, allowed me to clone.

If you wonder why I have not cloned,

for example, the videographer, it was because the

videographer is not from my team and is

part of the wedding.

With which I considered that it was not

entirely necessary.

Surely here, in the upper part, you will

find Cristian and I also cloned him.

I mean, I deleted the team of photographers,

but not the videographers, okay?

And this is the moment of arrival.

This is the important thing, right?

To have several perspectives, okay?

Totally different.

Simply as an anecdote to tell you that

this videographer was not part of the team

of videographers, but it was being transmitted live

to the guests who could not come.

This took us by surprise.

And the truth is that I did not

know anything about this and it screwed me

up a lot.

It bothered me a lot to have a

team of ...

Well, that does not bother me, but a

team of videographers that I did not control

and that on top of that, they did

not move throughout the ceremony with their tripods.

And that for me is a real mess,

right?

But hey, there are delayed photos, as you

are seeing, but hey, I guess they would

be from Cristian, okay?

I love this type of images.

This image was taken by Cristian.

It is an off moment.

And I really love all these types of

transition photos.

Here we can see, right?

How was the ceremony or the church.

It was a round place, okay?

Apparently it looked like a wonderful place to

shoot, but I just want to tell you

that finally it did not convince me, because

the lights that came in both on the

right, well, for all these crystals, did not

work very well and it was quite complicated.

I am in that position that you are

seeing, at the top of everything, and Luis

Tovar was here hidden behind the flowers, right?

With which we were three photographers in three

different points, right?

If we had only been two photographers, it

is possible that I would have placed myself

here where Luis is, right?

Because for me, the moment when the bride

and the groom meet, for me that moment

is sacred, right?

I keep explaining.

All the readings, speeches.

As always, regardless of whether the wedding is

in Spain, Colombia or wherever, as long as,

well, it is not always good to generalize,

but in ceremonies nothing ever happens.

And it's a shame, right?

Well, here, as you can see, I have

not cloned it.

of Cristian Cardona.

It's just that I'm not only worried about

having this, not only for me it is

important to have the moment as such, or

the moment when the rings are sacralized, but

for me I always try to look for

some off moment like this, right?

I tell you that apparently it looks like

a very attractive church, but when it comes

to shooting it was not so much, okay?

As you can see, everything is photographed, signatures,

details, guests, everything you can, right?

And now is the moment of departure, okay?

At the moment of departure, what I asked

Cristian to stay behind, I asked Luis to

go up to have a totally different perspective,

because why have three photographers at the exit?

I mean, it's better to have a different

perspective I stood in front, okay?

And later, sorry, Cristian stood behind.

This shot could have been good, but well,

our videographer friend stood there, right?

He stood there, but well, we can't face

him, right?

I mean, he did his job.

Family photos, more photos of friends, photos of

details, table photos, all these little things, okay?

And while I was taking all these photos,

the details, I already know that Cristian had

done them, but I wanted to do a

little more, and these photos were made, this

is the reception or the cocktail, they were

made by Luis Tobar and Cristian Cardona, okay?

Disjockey, photos with musicians, and once we finished

all these, these are all, I mean, all

the musicians who were at the ceremony, sorry,

once that, we still scratched a couple more

portraits, a moment, because this place seemed incredible

to me, while I was doing this, Cristian

Cardona was doing this.

We played a little more, and well, now

you're going to see a little bit of

the rest of the photos, of the dinner

as such, and of the party.

Simply, I mean, they arrived by the grooms,

there were a few words, a little speech,

but it wasn't a very big speech, it

was just five minutes, a little bit of

emotion, not much, okay?

But well, we photographed what was happening there,

a toast, all these things, but I assure

you that practically nothing happened, I took care

of photographing personally, while Cristian and Luis were

eating, I did a little bit of the

cake moment, nothing serious, nothing special, and now

again we start with the group photos.

I already told you at the beginning of

the video that you were going to see

a lot of detail photos, a lot of

group photos, but as I have told you

so many times, we are working for them,

they took me from Spain to Colombia, and

I owed them, right?

I had plenty of time to do my

report, and to do their report, I mean,

they loved me for what I am, obviously,

but if a client asks me for family

photos, well, I'm not going to do them,

right?

And well, the dance started, the truth is

that it started with natural light, and it

was quite difficult to control, as you are

seeing, the lights, because the exterior was still

with much more light than the interior, so

I had to start using some filler flash,

here you can see how I started using

flash, trying to overexpose the exterior so that

the interior had a little more strength, I

was only working with a flash, and Cristian

Cardona too, Luis worked all the time without

flash.

Well, the truth is that it was noticed

that the girlfriend, who was Latin, although she

is living in Colombia, well, she is of

Venezuelan origin, her boyfriend was a boy, or

he is a very nice boy, but it

is noticeable that he is of origin, perhaps

more Anglo-Saxon, because it was harder for

him to dance, he was a little more

introverted, I am not generalizing, it does not

mean that Latinos are more festive than Anglo

-Saxons, but well, in this case I can

assure you that yes, okay?

And I would have liked to have more

guests, but with the pandemic it was just

like a wedding, of about 40 guests, okay?

And that's why the party was not so

crazy, right?

But despite that, we have some quite interesting

photos, like the one that had been captured

by me, like the one that Cardona photographed

at this time, just as an anecdote, right?

I respect every photographer, but in this photo

it works perfectly to work with a wide

angle, but I personally prefer to take something

like this with a 35, than not something

like that, although this is very good, with

a 24, with a 20 mm, right?

I think that, for my taste, the wide

angle does not benefit us, but hey, I

can't complain, the crazy time has begun.

Look how good it is to photograph with

three photographers, right?

That I capture this one, which, well, is

not a brilliant photo, but Luís Tobar captured

this one, which seems to me a much

more interesting photo, yes sir.

The crazy time has begun, for Europeans or

for Spaniards, we are not used to this,

they have a moment called the crazy time,

in which everyone gets super, well, they dress

up, as you are seeing, they put on

fruits, and they put on hats, stories, and

the girls flowers, fruits, and all this on

top of the head, as you are seeing,

and it starts to mess up, right?

Little by little we started to get closer,

to put ourselves practically already in the kitchen,

alcohol began to work, it began to help

us, and people began to get really interesting.

Here we have another photo captured by my

friend Cardona, and as you are going to

see, it was getting more and more complicated.

Simply, when we say goodbye, as in most

weddings, when we say goodbye, we say goodbye

to the couple, and well, we still made

them a couple of portraits, very fast, while

we said goodbye, we told them that if

we could scratch them a few more photos,

they said yes, and right away, the truth

is that when we were about to leave,

the wedding planner told us that they were

going to make a small corridor with some

fireplaces and fires and such, and that's when

we photographed all these images.

I must say, let's see if you can

see, Luis Tovar was helping us with the

flashes, the photos that you are seeing with

wide angle were taken by me, Luis was

right behind with my flash and with the

flash of Cristian Cardona to profile, to create

a more interesting light.

Now you are going to see, these are

the photos that my friend Cristian Cardona took.

He shot with 85mm and I shot with

35mm.

So we could say that here, more or

less, the wedding was practically over.

It was, as I say, about 10 hours,

10 hours, 12 hours at most of work.

The images that we have delivered or that

I have delivered have been around 800, not

counting the photos that I took in the

post-wedding.

So this has been the wedding.

Just to tell you, to finish, that this

wedding was a bit crazy because it was

hired 21 days before the wedding.

If the wedding was on March 27, at

the beginning of the first week of March,

believe me, I thought it was a fake

email or that the bride had made a

mistake of dates.

I even told him in the first email,

I say, hey, do you know that I

am Spanish?

And the answer he said, well, and the

bride told me, sorry, obviously I know who

you are.

And yes, yes, and the wedding was on

March 27.

And that was the first wedding of the

year, gentlemen.

The truth is that I am eternally grateful

to these two guys, to Jason and to

my friend Adriana.

And well, and happier now, because after passing

them through the gallery, they are delighted with

the photos, they are delighted with the final

result.
