In today's video I want to talk to

you about an off-camera, but it is

no longer an off-camera, but we are

going to say that it is a challenge,

because in fact it was, right?

The point is that a few weeks ago

I had the brilliant idea that I could

organize two sessions on the same day and

two sessions in the same location.

So I thought that, as I say, it

could be a very good idea to tell

you how you can get a game out

of two completely different couples in the same

location and try not to repeat myself and

try that even if it happened, or even

if it took pictures in the same locations,

in the same places, obviously that the photos

of a couple and another were not the

same because it was not going to be

ethical and, as you know, I do not

like repeating locations or repeating photos of a

couple with another, so we thought, both Erika

and I, that it could be really interesting

for us to share with you this crazy

experience and thus force me to see how

far the limit was in my creativity.

Of course, at first I thought I was

Superman and then, when I landed, I realized

that I am a human being like everyone

else and that it was not easy at

all to have two completely different reports.

So what I am going to do in

this first video is, well, explain to you

some of the photos that we took in

the session of Luisfer and Sonia.

In some of the cases I am going

to compare them with the session we did

of Yasmina and Diego.

Remember that we talked about this off-camera

a few weeks ago, so what we are

going to do is that, it is a

small comparison.

I am not going to fall into which

photos are better than others, but simply compare

the photos that I took, for example of

Luisfer and Sonia, and in any case, if

I repeat the location, I will explain which

photos I took of Yasmina and Diego.

I forgot, the two sessions were done in

a office complex, in a research complex, as

they call it, called Hualca, and it is

between Zaragoza and Huesca, and it is a

center in which it does not have anything

special either, but it has a couple of

buildings that, as you know, are all geometric

lines, they are very clean backgrounds where you

can play and it is not in the

center of a city, therefore, in these times

of pandemic, it was a really interesting location

to be with the couples quietly and, above

all, they do not wear a mask and

be able to work as God commands, okay?

So I don't roll up anymore and we

are going to start talking about some of

the photos that I took, the most interesting

photos, as I tell you, and how they

were worked, okay?

The first image of all I took of

Luisfer and Sonia, or the one I want

to show you, is this one, in which,

as you can see, it is a building

or it is the side of a building

in which they are all large windows and

form those lines or those triangular shapes, and

I thought at first that it could be

interesting to try to integrate the couple into

the building, right?

The first idea I had was this, it

is simply to ask both one and the

other to try to integrate into the master

lines of what the building was, and I

liked how it could fit, but at the

same time, at that very moment, when I

took this one as such, I realized that,

as I have already told you some time

ago, that I was repeating myself again with

the poses and all that, so I quickly

changed my mind and asked them to approach

me completely, because the truth is that I

preferred to explore more in the soul of

the couple than in acting or not in

poses that I had already repeated on some

other occasion in the past, right?

So I told them to come here and

simply, as an important note, as in the

previous photo I was integrating the couple in

the location or in the architecture of the

building itself, in this one too.

For me it was very important that those

two master lines, for me they were super

important, that the heads of both were perfectly

fitted there, so I told them to get

together, above all, and I already started trying

to play with them in a more interesting

way.

Of course, I really like the photograph more

than the previous one, it has twice the

potential, I think it is much more interesting,

but as a note, okay?

I like it, but maybe I should have

worked a little more on the hands and

got something more interesting, maybe, okay?

I mean, it's not bad, quite the opposite,

but Sonia's hand, for example, did not end

up being 100% perfect, okay?

Without changing much, that is, without going too

far and working on the acting that I

was commenting on, on playing with a couple,

close, hands and all this, let's change to

this image, okay?

In which, to my liking, it works much

better, that hand game is not so evident

and, again, although I already told you that

I would talk to you much more about

how to capture the bride's hair that I

photographed in the foreground, it is not the

same record or it is not the same

story as in the previous images that I

had shown you, such as this one of

Yasmina, but after all, the essence is the

same, although clearly, well, as a personal opinion,

this photograph of Luisfer with Sonia seems more

interesting to me, although I don't want to

compare them, it seems more interesting to me

because all the weight goes to one side,

that is, I do not have the hair

in the foreground, as is the case, for

example, of Yasmina, and I do have, in

the case of them, the hair focused on

the right and I have to the left,

to them, completely out of focus, but it

is understood, it is understood perfectly how, that

is, how, for example, Sonia is trying to

touch him, how there is a certain connection,

so the image is perfectly balanced and I

think it has a perhaps a little more

interest, right?

Let's go to another image, for me it

may be one of the most interesting images,

and not only for me, but especially for

the couple, because in fact, this same location,

you will see that I repeated it completely,

I repeated it, that is, it is the

same absolute, absolute, I mean, with the same

formula, all the same, and I am going

to tell you first how we took the

photo of, that is, of Luísfer with Sonia,

and then we compare it with that of

Yasmina and Diego, okay?

But what I wanted first was that when

I found this kind of cactus, it occurred

to me that it could be interesting that,

that is, that I asked both Luísfer and

Sonia to go up to the upper part,

to the upper part of the hill in

which they would be placed behind the whole

set of plants or cactus that was there.

Of course, I thought that although the light

was in my favor, it was not powerful

enough, powerful, because Luísfer and Sonia's session was

held at the first hour of the morning

and Yasmina and Diego's session was held in

the afternoon, so the light was completely different.

As I tell you, I thought it could

be interesting to add a touch of flash,

I think I would use a medium or

a quarter of power, and the flash, as

you are seeing, I brought it quite close

to them, up to more or less, as

you can see, 45 degrees, inclination more or

less, power, I have already told you, and

I simply asked them to come closer, to

put their heads together, and the flash, I

was worried that it was perfectly, perfectly for

their faces, so more or less, it started

to shoot.

Important points, you already know that I don't

like, sorry, you already know that I don't

like showing the ground, I mean, although it

is obvious that the couple is standing, but

I don't give so much evidence, and what

I like is that you can only see

Cactus, and in a point between the Cactus

you can see the couple, and the truth

is that it attracts me quite well.

The truth is that when I already had

it, when I had it, for example, edited,

well, when I had it shot and when

I sat down on the computer, I had

doubts whether to make it black and white

or make it in color, okay?

Finally, I think that in this case, in

the case of, for example, this image, it

works better in black and white, because, to

my liking, I used a too closed diaphragm,

and there is not so much difference between

the foreground and the background.

When everything is focused, this, right?

If we compare it now, or if we

put it just at the same time, okay?

Both a photograph, the one I showed you,

how, if I show you now the photograph,

for example, of Yasmina and Diego, we are

seeing that Yasmina and Diego, to my liking,

works a little better, just a little, perhaps

because the only difference is that the diaphragm

in Yasmina and Diego is much more open,

and there is a big difference, or the

point, the point of interest, which is the

background, that is, which is the couple, is

easier, for example, to understand, and you are

not so distracted by the rest of the

image, since in the previous image, with a

diaphragm 8, everything was focused, and in this

image, with such an open diaphragm, only the

couple is practically focused, with which it has

a reading, well, twice as simple.

If we compare them again, both one and

the other, I must say that, although the

brightness, or the light, or the point of

interest, sorry, of Yasmina and Diego seems more

attractive, it is true that the composition of

this image, that of Luis Ferr, is, to

my liking, much more interesting, because it creates

a more harmonious shape, and I think it

is much, much better, perhaps, than the previous

one.

The reason why I repeated location, formula, lighting,

I mean, they are two drops of water,

practically, the reason why I did this was

because it seemed to me such a beautiful

photo that I thought that both couples should

have it.

Why deprive a couple of a beautiful photo

if the other one also had it?

Well, as I was telling you, we were

in the same location, okay?

And constantly thinking that if we visited a

location, if we later visited it again with

the other couple, we could not repeat ourselves,

because otherwise the challenge would be taken for

the ass, right?

So then, we went to stop in this

little corner, as you can see, it is

a green background, it is a completely clean

wall, and, I mean, remember that with the

session of Yasmina and Diego we were playing

with the hat in the same background, completely

in the same background, okay?

But I thought that this time I was

not going to play with any kind of

hat, so then I thought that what we

were going to play was with that trunk

that was right in the middle, and what

was going to be like the trunk, I

wanted to simulate it, I wanted to show

how the trunk was part of them, and

that's where that formula or the idea of

saying that both of them would close their

eyes came from, and it seemed so interesting

because it seemed that the tree had arms,

that it was the same tree that was

covering or that was hiding, for example, the

two eyes.

Yes, a little bit how to explain very,

very quickly, you know that always the starting

point is to think that we find a

background that is interesting, in which the couple

stands out, the light that more or less

works, and then what we are going to

share or divide the frame always in two

parts.

That trunk helped me perfectly to separate both,

okay?

And that trunk at the same time helped

me to unite both.

Do you understand what I'm talking about?

Of course, if we started to see in

the location that we were, what photo we

took with Yasmina and Diego, okay, the background

is the same, obvious, but the philosophy, the

way of shooting, the meaning of the photo,

the language, I mean, it is completely different

from each other.

A photograph is much more static and the

other has much more movement.

Honestly, of course, I don't want to compare

them, right?

Which would be better?

Because I really like both, both, and I

feel attracted to both, both the one with

the hat and the other.

But I want you to see how, depending

on the couple's energy, that is, depending on

how they go dressed, we can alter, we

can combine things and we can achieve completely

different results, right?

We were, remember, at this point in which

Yasmina, for example, was showing me the ring,

right?

I would like to show you what I

did also with Luisfer and Insonio, okay?

Notice that, I mean, I completely changed the

record and now I did lean on the

tilt-shift, okay?

In which to remember that it is macro

and I did bring it as close as

possible to the peculiarity of the tilt-shift

or the 45mm, which you already know that

I use it even to eat, the peculiarity

that it has is that you can put

it in a 34mm diaphragm, 34mm, yes, and

when you bring it so much, what you

can do sometimes is that it seems that

the foreground is focused, as is the hand

with the ring, and the background, which is

Sonia's, is also, for example, focused.

And what I wanted to do is that,

I mean, Sonia was perfectly fitted in that

ring.

Also, an important point, Sonia was wearing a

kind of black jacket, skirt.

The background in which we are working is

a black background.

If we join black with black, everything is

diluted, it does not work.

That's where I came from, sorry, that I

told Sonia, hey, I'm going to ask you,

even if it's a little cold, because remember

that the session was done in February in

Spain, in Spain in February it is totally

winter, okay?

And I told Sonia, look, I'm going to

ask you, please, to take off your skirt

and to put on only with your, I

mean, with your white shirt.

The white with the black works great and

that's why it makes the girl stand out,

right?

That it stands out a lot and works

well, okay?
