that we carry out with one of our

partners that we are going to photograph this

year, at the end of July.

We hope that the wedding can be done

because there are recent changes from last minute

with other couples, but this couple is convinced

that they are going to get married in

the last week of July.

So we made a pre-wedding report just

two weeks ago and I would like to

share with you how we made some of

the best images of that session.

So, as always, with the off-cameras we

are going to create a couple of videos,

one first, which is this video, and a

second that you will see in a very

short time.

The images that I have selected for today

are really, well, I think, it is not

right for me to say it, they are

really interesting or at least I like them

because mainly, sorry, it is not what I

have been doing lately because at the moment

I am not suffering a crisis but I

begin to think that the formula for taking

portraits began to be a bit repetitive and

the truth is that there are many colleagues

who begin to do something similar and therefore

already at the moment that this happens, you

have to take a step forward and try

a little bit to improve or give it

a more personal touch and something more different.

So I won't entertain myself anymore and we're

going to start talking about the first image.

It was almost practically one of the first

photos I took, I'm talking about this image

and well, first of all, I would like

to start by telling you a little bit

about what attracted me to this location and

why I chose it, that is, the spot,

I mean, what I wanted to show you

for that is the RAW, that is, the

original file so that you understand even better

and I would like you to see how

my head understood how all the lines were

formed, for example, both the two triangles above

that we have right there but also for

me the most important thing was that the

couple was right in the center respecting that

shadow that I am marking now, you see

that shadow for me as if they were

master lines that although they were not lines

of the building they were in the light

I mean in the shadow in this case

with which the couple had to be perfectly

embedded in that part and later well that's

when I started to play with them, surprise

of the good ones at the moment that

I told them, hey, just yasmina, I want

your back to lean right on his chest

and it was to ask him that and

say, fuck, they are working perfectly, you know

that there are couples that sometimes there is

no way that they look good and there

are others that you don't know why you

tell them to get together and fuck the

photo is done of course at the moment

that I already had this good image that

was complicity that above all they laughed that

immediately saw that the couple was a couple

can see the distance between them and me

is still very large but remember that it

was the first photo that we took with

which I always keep those small distances but

when I understood that the camera worked so

well quickly I thought no I have to

go forward and I got closer you see

is classic although it seems simple that I

think it is super beautiful and the black

and white sits in this brutal image and

above all not if I like something about

this image is how jasmine's hair moves, it

is worth how diego is perfectly fitted in

what would be jasmine's body and notice how

well that jasmine's hand works, you see that

at the moment that we are, for example,

posing couples in such basic elements as putting

a hand and I no longer say that,

that is, that the hand, for example, ends

here, but simply that it is supported, that

is, that the hand is supported on the

diego in this case makes the connection work

very well and we add those elements such

as the hands that you already know that

I like them so much, so this was

the second image of course when I was

there when we were so close I already

understood that the couple was not afraid at

with which I already thought ok today we

jasmine had some very interesting eyes and that

is something really interesting, well, as I had

told you, the couple was really crazy there

and well and it seemed interesting to me

to continue playing with them, do you remember

that recently I showed you a photographer named

Kenran who was a boy from Russia, do

you remember that I showed you one of

those videos one of his videos in which

he played with one of the models and

asked him to move his hair like that?

Well, the idea of ​​this image comes from

there, we had already taken some photos and

I already had, as I tell you, the

hot couple and that is when we found

this location and I thought it could be

a bit interesting for him to ask Yasmina

to come forward and ask Diego to go

back.

The idea was that if in the previous

images he had taken images with a very

closed plane in which he had only captured

faces or lips, now he wanted or wanted

something different, not to get a more visual

language and that not all the photos were

the same, you understand me?

So then I already had Yasmina right in

front of me, I had Diego right in

front of me, the glass of the building,

the same glass, made it look in a

certain way as you are seeing the reflection,

you see that it is super important that

when you arrive, for example, to the places

that you are going to photograph, do not

think that you have to shoot, for example,

a postcard, but think, okay, this is the

building, okay, well, there I have an interesting

corner, there I have another and always think,

okay, well, if there is, for example, a

glass, there may be a reflection, I am

going to hit the camera as hard as

I can to see what happens and I

have this, okay?

You see that they are formulas that are

repeated or they are patterns that are repeated

in many reports and that helps you to

always find new images, right?

When I had both Yasmina and Diego there,

I just shot.

I already tell you that I asked Yasmina,

for example, to do it several times.

At the beginning I didn't give her much

strength, but I already told her, I want

you to scream, I want you to scream

like that, right?

And in the end, so much screaming, you

see this image in which you can see

his face perfectly and you see Diego, that

with a stick, what I told him to

the last image of all, in which I

want to talk today, I am talking about

this image, in which, well, simply what I

was thinking or what I did was to

keep playing with them at all times.

This image I must say that I took

it almost at the end, almost of the

session and the session I started it very

well, with a lot of energy, with very

good ideas, but the last part, in the

last 30 minutes, I assure you that I

did not have such fresh ideas, with which

I had to throw resources.

What is one of the resources that I

usually use when I have no ideas?

That they play, for example, between them.

How do they play?

Well, if she had, for example, a hat,

say okay, well now you put it on

him, now you take it off, now you

hold it to her, now you tickle her,

I explained all this to them and I

told them what I needed.

And I already knew that in one of

those, in one of those photos, or in

one of those moments, surely a good image

would flow.

So, I sat down here and started shooting.

I assure you that I put a little

flash at 45 degrees of the couple because

I wanted to raise everything a little bit,

because the light, to my liking, was too

flat and with a very, very soft touch,

with a touch of flash, to get to

have something more, more strength.

And as you can see, well, it doesn't

stop shooting, I think it would shoot almost

sure that, well, a hundred images at least,

until finally, clonk, I kept this one and

it was the one you are seeing now.
