Hello friends, how are you?

How are things going?

Welcome to another chapter.

As always, I want to thank everyone for

continuing to be there, for your support, and

of course, to the last ones who have

come to this adventure called Patreon.

I hope you have a good time, I

hope you like the videos and that you

take something, right?

Well, it's been a few days since many

of you, or some of you, sorry, have

asked me how we relate to our partners.

I mean, from the moment we receive the

first email until we finally hire the wedding.

So this video would like to dedicate it

a little to all that, right?

How we relate, as I tell you, from

the moment we receive the first email until

we finally hire the wedding, right?

That in these times it seems that it

is still a little more complicated, okay?

The first thing I should tell you, or

the first thing I would like to tell

you, is that I do not intend to

present a cathedral.

What I am going to explain to you

is neither good nor bad, it is the

path that simply has not worked for us.

You also have to take into account that,

possibly, the market that we have is a

market, for example, national and even European.

On some occasions we photograph a couple outside

of Europe.

But what I want to get to, is

that you do not believe that this is

what is supposedly correct, okay?

Simply, as I have already told you, what

is working for us.

And if I want to make something clear,

it is that if we have always managed

to hire weddings, and we have not had,

well, more or less like everyone, right?

Well, their little problems and that we would

like to hire more or better and all

these things.

But what I want to get to is

that the photographic quality has helped us more,

or our photographic skills, more than the marketing

art, right?

Because, by the way, it is that we

have never paid for Google, or for advertising

on Instagram, or on Facebook.

It has simply been for publishing, publishing, publishing

and really showing the work.

That has helped us, right?

That main.

Okay, having said all this, what we are

going to start now, how it would be,

well, how we receive an email and how

we are going to start working.

And first of all, we leave you by

the basis that everyone should have a website

or a blog, in conditions in which their

work is seen a little.

But especially the contact form, okay?

The contact form is really super important to

have a small contact with the couple or

with the clients who are contacting us, right?

In addition to things as obvious as the

name and all these things, it is super

important for us to know where they are

going to get married.

It seems very obvious, but thanks to the

place, we are going to start knowing what

type of client we have.

If it is going to be, for example,

more classic, simply conventional, or it is going

to be a client who is going to

look for something specific, for example, getting married,

I don't know, in a little castle, at

a precise time, and all these things, right?

Going to the contact form or going deeper

into it, there are a couple of points

that are really very important to us.

And one is, please send us your Instagram

accounts.

If I ask for that, or if we

ask for that, it is not to know

if the couple is tall, fat, thin, pretty,

ugly, no, no, it is not for that,

that is, we do not think that the

couple has to be the standard prototype of

a perfect human being, no, no, no, outside

of stories, it is not for that, but

it is to know what type of person

he is, who he relates to, what type

of studies he has received, what type of

work he has, does he travel, does not

travel, when he travels, what does he visit,

do you understand me?

That is what we are looking for and

that is what helps us perfectly to segment

the type of target that we have, okay?

And no less important, although some colleagues tell

me that it can be a bit violent,

but the case that usually works and it

is, what is your budget for your wedding?

Of course, there we already understand for a

moment what is the investment in what they

have predestined for their wedding, right?

It may seem, as I tell you, violent,

but it helps us a lot, right?

Because there are couples who are frank, who

tell us what they have and that already

helps us, well, to say, okay, we can

attack this client, right?

Of course, honestly and without seeming very sectarian,

right?

If a couple tells us that their budget

is just in the middle of what we

have in mind and on top of that

they get married in a place that does

not contribute much to us, then we will

quickly say that the date is occupied, right?

Because why waste time and why waste time

on us, okay?

Once we have all this, once the couple

that has filled in and has sent it

to us, when we receive it, the first

thing we are going to do is study

it with Erika, and we are not going

to answer in five minutes because it seems

that we are starving, even if we really

want to hire her, but we are going

to wait a couple of hours, okay?

And then we will send everything.

Of course, I would like to show you

what an email is like, well, what a

budget entry, but of course, with the data

protection law I can not and less hang

it in a place like this because, well,

imagine, right?

I could get into trouble, but I am

going to detail you with all the luxury

of details as it is, right?

In other words, when we answer, the first

thing we do is congratulate the couple for

their future wedding, we want to feel, sorry,

we want the couple to feel that we

are super interested in knowing more, that they

tell us more, okay?

That is the main story and what of

course, well, we started talking about how we

work and such, but sorry, before we talk

about how we work, what we are going

to do is simply show a first slideshow,

a first video, sorry, in which it tells

how we are.

And I am already referring to this video

in which Enzo recorded us in the month

of March and in which we are seen

not only, well, how we live, but how

we also live, well, photography and how not,

how we feel or how it goes through

our heads when we are, well, photographing weddings,

right?

With which, that is a first, that is

a first video for the couple to know

us a little more, because of course we

have to understand that this is an emotional

business, right?

For better or for worse, with which we

have to empathize in a certain way with

the couple and that the couple not only

sees that we have a certain photographic quality,

but also sees that we are human beings

like them and like the rest of the

world, right?

And that in addition to being some people

who seem to have certain concerns parallel to

the couple, they also take, well, or take

good pictures.

Later, as I was saying, we will tell

you a little about how we work very,

very superficially, but it will mainly be a

statement of intentions, more than, well, us, well,

us, well, us, well, us, and of course,

we are never going to talk about titulitis,

that is, neither awards nor anything similar, okay?

In other words, that is something that, both

Erika and I have completely not forbidden, but

we never started talking about it because it

is like you go above everyone else and

that does not go with us, right?

And later, yes, as I say, that is,

we are going to show a couple of

slideshows, I mean, let's say that the couple

gets married in Madrid, we are going to

try to pass two slideshows that reflect weddings

in Madrid or at least weddings similar to

those that they are going to, well, that

they are going to prepare, if it is

a civil wedding or if it is a

wedding outside or if it is inside, I

mean, let's try.

Of course, let's say we receive a budget

from a couple, for example, from my town,

I am from a small town, although I

live here, okay?

I mean, let's say we receive that, obviously

I'm not going to pass a slide of

a wedding in Mallorca, or a wedding in

Paris, right?

I will simply pass slides, or I will

pass information or photos of weddings that we

have done in my region, or in my

towns, or in something similar, so that the

couple feels 100% identified with what they

are seeing.

Do you remember what I told you about

the emotional business?

Well, it all goes a little bit there,

okay?

Once we have done all that, more or

less, that we have already reported, that we

have already shown a couple of slideshows and

all this, in the past, in the past

I say all the story, except until a

year and a half ago, in the same

email we included the rates, okay?

Of course, right now we have changed it,

we think it is better for us, but

right now we do not include rates.

Why don't we include them in the same

email?

Because that way we lost a lot of

contact with the couple, and the truth is

that in the old way, I mean, including

rates in the same email, what happened is

that we only received feedback of a maximum

of 10% of the budgets we received.

A couple of years ago we just met

with a person who knows a lot about

marketing, and well, we paid a little bit

for a small consultancy, right?

And this guy told us, okay, I mean,

we told him everything we told you and

what we told him, that we only hired

10% and he told us, okay, but

when you have the couple in front of

you, either in front of a screen because

you do it on Skype or in front

of you, what is the percentage that you

hire?

And we told him, fuck, when we have

the couple in front of us, we hire

90% and he says, fuck, guys, you

have to force an interview in the email,

never show rates, that is, show an approximate

price, and that's how we change everything, right?

I mean, what we do now when we

finish the email, we try to force an

interview, we want to meet you, and we

do say, of course, that the round budget

from such to such, okay?

I mean, in our case, for example, for

a wedding that was in our city, we

always say that our round budget is from

2,500 to 4,000 euros, approximately, which

may later be a little more, the lower

figure, right?

But we always aim a little for the

low, a little only, and there is the

whole story, okay?

If we already have news about the couple,

I mean, quickly, before two days, it means

that the couple seems to be interested.

If two days pass and we have not

had news, the experience tells us that that

wedding, no matter how much we write later,

hello guys, we wrote to you a while

ago, the personal experience tells us that that

no longer works, okay?

Okay, once we have already, for example, sent

that, we already have good news, and the

couple wants to keep an interview, okay?

We go to the interview, we always try

to stay in the moment that goes best

for the couple.

Normally, our couples usually have jobs that usually

end at 7 p.m. to work, 6

p.m., with which we already know that

the interviews are going to be about 7

o'clock in the afternoon, 8 in the

afternoon, it is late for us, but obviously

we say that it is the perfect time

for us too, right?

With which we try to empathize with them

at all times.

During the meeting, our meetings usually last about

70 minutes, 75 maximum, we don't want to

have them there giving them a hard time,

because it has to be all pam, pam,

pam, that is, that we are nice, that

we are, that is, that the work is

attractive and that finally everything that fits them

is like a ring on the finger, okay?

Never better said.

When we start talking, that is, the first

thing we do is ask them or start

talking about everyday situations, if it is time

for the virus, well, we don't try to

talk about the virus either, right?

But we try, well, to empathize in a

certain way and simply connect with them.

Little by little we are going to request

information, okay?

Pam, pam, pam, and they are already giving

us those things, that is, that information that

they are giving us, it helps us to

continue asking, okay?

And there are even times when we force

that minute of silence in which we do

not speak and force the partner to speak,

because they have to speak so that we

understand perfectly what they need, okay?

When they have more or less told us

a little, we begin to introduce how we

work, okay?

And finally, well, that is, what we try

to put in alpha, well, everything is our

job, right?

And being that we are two photographers, because

always, all the meetings are Erika and me,

here it is not that Víctor is the

one who hires the wedding, no, always, always,

always the couple.

And in recent months, I always read that

he is behind with a chair tying it,

that is, with which, well, it is quite

chaotic sometimes and sometimes funny, right?

But hey, there it goes, right?

Once we have already explained how we work

two and already putting in alpha how we

work as a team, right?

With different perspectives, like the video that I

showed you three or four chapters ago, well,

we transfer the same to the couple, all

that.

And once we have already shown that, we

are going to show you a complete gallery,

yes, a complete gallery that we have already

photographed of some of the couples, but always

thinking about weddings that are going to be

like hers, so that, as I say, they

feel identified with that, okay?

And of course I'm not going to, I

mean, I'm not going to, I mean, we're

not going to show you 600 photographs one

by one, because that could be super, super

hard for them, right?

And we'll see, well, it would be a

jaleo.

But what we try is, as I say,

to put in alpha, right?

That is, at what points do we stop,

how Erika works separately, for example, at her

boyfriend's or girlfriend's house.

On the other hand, when we get together

at the ceremony, how we get perspectives, pam,

pam, pam.

And above all, doubts, right?

For example, that many of them have doubts

like, do you take family photos?

And we show the family photos as they

are worked perfectly.

Detail photos, I mean, those photos that we

don't have on Instagram or on the blog,

just what we show, right?

And we already tell you how our work

is.

Once we have already shown that, the last,

the last, the last, the last of the

last, is when we start talking about rates,

okay?

And that's when we show for the first

time the price of our reports or our

services, okay?

And what I'm going to show you now

would be, well, the files, or the file,

sorry, so that you can see how, well,

how they are, or how we have prepared

the rates a bit, right?

So that, or the services, sorry, so that

you can see a little bit, well, how

we work, okay?

The only thing that doesn't appear are the

prices.

And I don't put them for two reasons.

One, because the prices always vary.

It is not the same to photograph for

a wedding here in my city, that in

the morning I am in my house sleeping,

to photograph for a wedding in the south

of Spain or in the south of, well,

in the south of Italy, or wherever, right?

Because, of course, at that time I still

have to travel one more day, so the

prices vary.

And as you already know, it is not

the same to get married in the high

season than in the low season, so everything

is going to vary.

I already anticipate you, as I have already

told you, for a wedding in my city

it is around 3,000 euros without an

album, it is only what is the coverage,

both Erika's and mine, around, okay?

I have already told you, everything can vary,

and be careful, it will not hurt us,

quite the opposite, that we have a wedding,

for example, in Catalonia, which is the community

that we have right next to ours, on

an incredible farm that we have not visited,

we want to make a portfolio, and that

in a certain way we go down, for

example, 200 euros to try to get to

that wedding, yes or yes, or even because

at that wedding we like it, we get

to make a 50% on the album

or whatever, to try to get there, that's

why you're not going to see prices, okay?

Well, the first thing we are going to

do is always show this slide in which

we write a little who we are, why

we like this photograph that it transmits for

us, but all the text that appears below

is a declaration of intentions, at all times,

okay?

We are not going to talk about curriculums,

or what we have studied, or how far

we have come, no, no, no, no, what

we feel at our wedding, and what is

the declaration of intentions, or what we want

to photograph at your wedding, simply, okay?

Now is the time, yes, we show a

little of the awards, but what we make

clear, that to begin with, we have not

shown it in any part of the day,

because, in the interview, sorry, because, as we

say, what we sell are photographs, and what

we sell to them is good photographs at

all times, I mean, an incredibly told story,

from the moment we arrive at their preparatory

houses, until we leave, which we always say,

as well as ironically, until the buckets begin

to take effect, and when people are no

longer for photos, right?

I mean, in those 12 hours, what we

tell them is that all those photographs, all

that gallery that we have shown you, who

we are, if also, as you can see,

they give us a candy, well, as it

is obvious, we are not going to be

hypocrites, and as it is obvious, we are

going to show it, but it is not

going to be like the battle horse, they

can show you awards, right?

And then, it is already when we are

going to tell a little about our rates,

this would be the first slide that we

have, in which we tell a little about

what the first package is, okay?

These rates that you are seeing are the

rates that I would pass to an international

couple, because there is a first package, which

is the one you are seeing, with 10

hours of coverage, which includes, well, that is,

for the coverage by Enrique and me, it

includes the entire online gallery, and it also

includes the slideshow, okay?

And that would have the price, well, for

example, as I have told you, for an

international couple outside of Spain, it would be

around 4 or 5 thousand euros, and for

a national couple in my city, it would

be around 3,000, okay?

For there, for example, they will go around

the prices, but it will all depend, as

I say, on a thousand different factors, okay?

And for the desire that we have to

hire that wedding, okay?

Once we have that, what we are going

to start telling, what are the values again

of our photograph, okay?

That is, first making it very clear that

our mission is, or our DNA, is to

capture real moments, okay?

I mean, I don't know if to define

it as photojournalism, which is not like that,

okay?

But yes, that our battle horse, or the

DNA, is to capture moments, okay?

But that does not remove, does not remove,

so that we are also good at making

portraits, with which we make it clear, right?

That, that is, that at their wedding it

is not that they are going to have

brilliant portraits alone, but there will be everything,

both moments and portraits, okay?

And of course, finally, we tell them that

we love the party, but not the party

of the kubateos, which also, right?

But, but the party, or sorry, the celebration,

we love it when a couple enjoys it,

lives it, and not only with the first

dance, or with the party that will follow

it, but with the hugs, friends, how they

are going to leave the ceremony celebrating it

from the top, how they are going to

live their preparations, I mean, celebration as such,

okay?

That is fundamental.

And now, again, you see that after a

parenthesis, that is, we do not spend the

price, price, price, price, price, but we are

taking the client a little bit here and

there, and always trying to make him fall

in love, not only with our work, but

with our way of thinking and with ourselves,

okay?

That is why, after a brief recess or

a brief parenthesis, we attack again with the

rates, and we already show again what would

be the second coverage, right?

That we are already talking about 14 hours,

as I was telling you, this would be

for an international couple, because for international couples,

as we divide in hours, right?

From 10, 14, and then we have one

more, in which it would be, well, as

infinite coverage, right?

But today I only show you these two,

okay?

Which contains, well, the same as the previous

one, but with a little more.

And then, what we are going to tell,

the different pre-wedding, post-wedding services and

all these things, right?

In which, well, we are going to specify

what we are going to deliver at all

times, and all these things.

And then, yes, we go to the services

that we are already delivering, such as the

albums, or the godparents, or simply priority, okay?

And there everything remains, and well, and finally,

for what you are seeing, that is, we

go back to remark a little, that, well,

in its day, in 2016, we got a

super prize, and so on, and so on,

and finally it ends, okay?

So this is all, this is all.

Everything ends here, and as I tell you,

at the moment we say goodbye, we already

know, sometimes, if the couple is going to

end up hiring us or not, right?

With which, well, more or less it stays

there.

On occasions they tell us that, well, they

want to take a look at more stories,

well, we open ourselves to all of this,

and we tell them to take the time

they really need.

And the truth is that, if we have

an interview, as I tell you, in 90%,

we usually have the luck, or we do

it quite well, to try to hire that

wedding, right?

And that's it, and the next thing is,

well, to get the trust and wait for

the wedding to arrive, right?

So nothing else, friends, I think I won't

entertain you anymore.

Oh yes, no matter how much marketing you

do, the main thing, the main thing, the

main thing, is to have a good photo.

So nothing else, I hope you liked it,

I hope it helps you and see you

very, very soon.

Take care, bye.
