[Battle Through The Heaven]

[Episode 29]

Master Fei? Well...

Am I seeing things?

Our Wind Thunder Hall was the first in the Central Plains to join forces

with Starfall Hall against the Hall of Souls.

We have more reasons to be here than any other faction.

The first? Am I hearing correctly?

Back then, when Wind Sage called for an attack on the Hall of Souls to save Master Yao,

you seemed to be the first to refuse.

Feng Qing'er from our hall

has fought against the Hall of Souls.

Regarding Master Yao's matter, our Wind Thunder Hall contributed.

Sword Sage, it seems we lose because we don't have a disobedient disciple

to help us gain glory.

- Master! - What are you two talking about?

- Today I'll... - Enough.

- Let go of me! - Come on.

- How could you two say that? - What are you doing?

- Put my master down! - What are you doing?

- Come back! What are you doing? - Put my master down!

- Two rascals and two old rascals! - Come on. Please calm down.

Let go!

- Master. - Let go!

Stop!

Today, we gather at Starfall Hall

to deal with a common enemy.

Since it's an alliance, let's start anew

and let go of past grievances.

The Central Plains stands together,

and from now on, we are all on the same side.

An alliance is feasible, but who will be the leader?

The position of the leader must be held by someone with

strong strength and a high reputation.

I am not suitable for this position.

Master Fei, although powerful, is a bit hot-tempered

and may act impulsively, not suitable for the leader's role.

Shadow Domain Sage, you are talking too much.

I think that Master Yao is the most suitable.

No, no, I'm too old.

This alliance was Xiao Yan's idea.

I propose that we don't need to stick to formalities.

The Central Plains' rise depends on the strength of the younger generation.

Let's choose the leader from them.

Among the younger generation, Xiao Yan is naturally the most suitable.

He's a peak Fighting Venerate with four Heavenly Flames

and experience in fighting against the Hall of Souls,

no one is more suitable than him.

I agree.

I also agree.

I agree too.

Xiao Yan is the direct disciple of Yao Chen,

and his ability to act is stronger than some of the older disciples.

He is indeed an ideal choice.

Mu Qingluan is also not bad.

He and Feng Qing'er will also be the backbone of the alliance.

Bad news!

Bad news! There is an intruder in the back mountain.

I know who this person is.

He is one of us.

Move!

Masters, he was sneakily moving ten boxes of gold coins to the back mountain.

He looks a bit familiar.

Xiao Yan. Little Fairy Doctor.

You both know this person.

Speaking of it, he was the first person that Little Fairy Doctor

met when she arrived in the Central Plains.

- Ice River Valley Master? - Ice River Valley Master?

What Ice River Valley Master?

I'm not him. I'm not.

I'm here to deliver something.

After delivering the goods, I'll leave. Goodbye.

Where are you going?

It's really you.

I-I-I...

just wanted to apologize to Little Fairy Doctor in person.

It was all my fault.

I... I don't expect everyone to forgive me.

I just want to contribute to the Central Plains.

I'll leave now.

The alliance meeting is not over yet. Where are you going?

Really?

Sit down please.

An alliance needs a name.

Let's think of a good name.

Our opponent is the Hall of Souls.

The name of alliance should be better than that.

How about calling it the "Blue Dome of Heaven Mansion"?

Hall of Souls, the Blue Dome of Heaven Mansion.

The Blue Dome of Heaven also means sky.

How about "Sky Mansion"?

Sky Mansion Alliance.

Good. Sounds magnificent.

Let's go with "Sky Mansion Alliance."

Now that the alliance is established, we need to establish rules.

The rules are simple:

There is no distinction between high and low within the alliance,

all parties are equal.

The Central Plains should act together.

Among the alliance factions, teleportation formations need to be built.

In case of a sudden attack by the Hall of Souls,

all parties can quickly support each other through the teleportation formations.

Resist the Hall of Souls until death.

Brat, how much do you know about the Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame?

It ranks third on the Heavenly Flames Ranking.

You still don't have a concept of it.

I know it's particularly powerful.

What do you mean by powerful?

The Fallen Heart Flame can turn into a python in magma.

Does it count as powerful?

The Three Thousand Burning Flame can only be subdued by the Dragon Seal.

Does that count as powerful?

What I mean is, I know it is extremely ruthless.

When trying to tame it, it's a matter of life and death.

If I say anything, it's always wrong.

Fine, I admit! I may not know it well.

You need to first admit your ignorance about it

to make better preparations.

You should know that among the various heavenly flames in the world,

most of them were tamed by many masters

and were free after the fall of those masters.

How many leave behind a lasting reputation?

But the Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame is different.

It was only tamed by one person.

While alive, this person was a Fighting Saint,

and even after falling, his reputation persisted.

This person is the Purifying Demonic Lotus Saint.

Purifying Demonic Lotus Saint.

Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame.

That's right.

The Purifying Demonic Lotus Saint named the heavenly flame after himself.

After his fall, the Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame disappeared

from the Douqi Continent, becoming a mystery.

So, besides the Purifying Demonic Lotus Saint,

no one else has tamed the Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame.

Xiao Yan, with your current level as a Fighting Venerate,

trying to tame the Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame

is like going to the gates of hell.

Wait for another three years.

And you can try to ascend to a Fighting Saint. Perfect.

Three years?

But... three years?

Even I can wait, the Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame can't.

Haste makes waste. You have to become totally different.

It's not just you, the Gu Clan is the same.

Otherwise, it would be suicide.

Master, is there a method that doesn't take three years?

There is, but it's not much different from suicide.

When I broke through to Fighting Saint, I truly experienced

the subtleties and difficulties of the nine turns

from a peak Fighting Venerate to a Fighting Saint.

It not only requires a strong and forceful breakthrough in strength

but also emphasizes enlightenment in one's mental state.

There's a continuous flow of energy between Heaven and Earth.

To break through to Fighting Saint, you need to absorb enormous energy.

Now that you're already a peak Fighting Venerate,

there are not many pills that can help you progress further.

The energy required is more like absorbing heavenly flames

and experiencing life and death.

But where can we find such a place?

When I founded the Starfall Hall in the Heavenly Star Mountain,

it was because I saw a hidden source of power in the depths of the mountains,

known as the Yang Flame Ancient Altar.

If you can get support from the Yang Flame,

coupled with the method I will teach you,

perhaps you can give it a try.

But hasn't the Yang Flame of the Ancient Altar long been extinguished?

Don't you remember?

When your meridians were severed,

Feng Xian reignited the Yang Flame to save your life.

This proves that the root of the Yang Flame was not completely severed.

As for whether you can eventually master it,

it depends on whether it accepts you.

The Purifying Demonic Lotus Saint was a member of the Ling Clan.

He just left half of the map with the Ling Clan,

intending to stop the future generations from taming the flame.

Near the Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame, there is a Nightmare Heavenly Fog

that can affect human emotions.

Once emotions are stirred,

the Demon Flame will surge within the body

until it incinerates the person into nothingness.

Therefore, taming the Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame

requires not only breaking through to the Fighting Saint but also stabilizing

the mind with the power of the bloodlines.

Our Gu Clan has a responsibility.

Xun'er has a divine bloodline,

she was supposed to tame the Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame.

However, her body already contains the Golden Emperor Burning Flame,

making it impossible to acquire a second heavenly flame.

She can only assist others.

Gu Yao.

We will send out Gu Yao, the Devil General of the Black Submerged Army,

to take in the Demonic Flame on behalf of the alliance.

Xun'er will assist him.

The two of them will undergo closed-door cultivation to break through to Fighting Saint.

Give it a try, and see if you can absorb it.

Use the Flame Mantra.

It seems that the Yang Flame has accepted you.

Master, give me more.

This is an entrance leading to the energy deep underground

in the central area of the Heavenly Star Mountain.

The deeper you go,

the more abundant and violent the energy becomes.

It's particularly suitable for breaking through bottlenecks.

However, the energy has two sides.

It may help you break through or destroy your foundation.

The Yang Flame root has accumulated flame poison over thousands of years.

Once poisoned, even I cannot save you, and you'll perish.

Therefore, you must control the time,

and the daily practice time should not exceed an hour.

Understood.

That's enough for today.

Why? I can absorb more energy, Master.

- I've told you that the Yang Flame root has flame poison. - Ow! Ow!

Absorbing too much can lead to disproportionate gains.

You can't seem to shake off your impatience.

When you get anxious, you throw caution to the wind.

My mistake. I'm sorry. I'm sorry.

Guarding you, the Clan Lady, is the responsibility of the Black Submerged Army.

I've always fulfilled my duties conscientiously,

believing in honesty and openness.

But I don't know when

this sense of responsibility became tainted with personal feelings.

I don't feel at ease letting you go to the Central Plains alone,

and I don't want you to see Xiao Yan alone.

I don't even understand...

how much of this unease is due to duty...

and how much is tied to emotions.

I just know that...

I have someone in my heart now.

Gu Yao, you...

The Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame will unleash the Nightmare Heavenly Fog.

At that time, everyone may be tempted.

You are deeply in love with Xiao Yan,

so be extremely careful at this stage.

Has something happened?

Why are you suddenly saying these things?

I have the responsibility and pride of the Black Submerged Army.

What I wanted to say has already been said.

I've said it, and I'll let it go.

Gu Yao is about to receive my Fighting Energy inheritance.

Fighting Energy inheritance?

I remember the clan records mentioning that

if successful, one can obtain the inheritance,

and the bloodline is tempered to greatly enhance energy.

But if it fails,

both parties will be devoured by the power.

To make Gu Yao's eighth-grade bloodline play its maximum role,

the Fighting Energy must be vigorous.

Even if it's risky, we should give it a try.

But this method carries too much risk.

Gu Yao and I can undergo closed-door cultivation together to advance to Fighting Saint

and jointly tame the Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame.

Why take such a risk?

Flame Poison?

The Heavenly Flame can evaporate the Flame Poison.

With this, the energy is no longer dangerous

and can be directly absorbed.

Fighting Energy Inheritance is a secret method of the Gu Clan.

The Fighting Energy is unparalleled fierce.

You have to endure a crueler force than lightning.

A slight misstep,

and both of us will face eternal damnation.

You woke up?

Do you remember what happened?

I was absorbing energy.

Okay, then I didn't wrong you.

No, stop! Master! Don't!

You rascal! You rascal! You never listen!

Do you know you just had a narrow escape?

If the Flame Poison enters your body, not even a Fighting God can save you!

Do you understand?

- Master! - You brat!

Master!

What are you doing?

- You brat! - Stop!

I'll beat you to death!

- I'll beat you, you brat. - He just woke up.

Stop it!

Si Zhu, untie the rope.

Okay.

I'll beat you.

- You never listen to me! - Hurry up.

Don't push me. I'm doing it.

Come on.

I'll beat him.

I won't let him go.

Look.

Get up. Get up.

Are you okay?

I am sorry.

How big a mistake has he made that you hang him upside down and beat him?

Yes, why do you hang him upside down and beat him?

He didn't listen to me. He didn't listen to his Master.

Why didn't you listen to him? You even didn't listen to him.

You even didn't listen to him.

Listen to the Master from now on.

Listen to the Master.

Why didn't you listen to your Master?

Why?

My disciple... He's my disciple.

Master, the Flame Poison...

- What Flame Poison? - I didn't...

Flame Poison? I will beat you up.

- Master, stop it. - Stay.

Don't run away!

Are you still hiding?

- Flame Poison will be neutralized... - Don't hide behind.

- by my Heavenly Flames. - Don't hide behind her.

- You brat. - Flame Poison isn't why I'm in danger.

- I will beat you up. - It's my forehead.

What did you say? Forehead?

The Root of Yang Flame is like a bottomless pit.

When I was absorbing the energy,

I instantly had a sharp pain in my forehead,

so I lost my bearings.

Sit down.

I won't hit you. Sit down.

Come on.

What's the matter?

There's power on his forehead.

My Fighting Energy can't get close enough.

Brat, think carefully.

When was the last time your forehead hurt?

Never. Only just now.

Try gathering your Fighting Energy in your forehead.

It can't be gathered.

Have you seen it before?

No.

You shall not go back to the Yang Flame Ancient Altar

until we figure out this power.

Then how can I break through?

Master!

Hey, Wind Sage.

It's useless for you to stand here. I'm not going to let him out.

Master, apart from the Yang Flame Ancient Altar,

is there no other way to help Xiao Yan break through to Fighting Saint?

Yes, but that chance is unattainable.

What chance?

A treasure of divine quality.

Its abundant energy is no worse than that of the Yang Flame.

It's just that it's unattainable.

For example, the seed of the Bodhi Tree.

Master, I'm going back to cultivate.

Only Xiao Yan has been inside the Bodhi Tree before.

If you want to go, ask him.

You...

Thank you, Master.

Looks like Golden Emperor Burning Formation

has finally been tamed by you enough to wrap Heavenly Flames.

Thanks to the Yan Clan's support

for giving me the Eight Wasteland Destruction Flame for practice.

The eight clans are together fighting against the Hall of Souls.

You don't have to thank me.

This way, we have a way out.

The rest is up to Gu Yao.

Master, you don't have to be like this.

Brat, I'm warning you.

If I find you going to the Yang Flame Ancient Altar in private again,

I'll hang you upside down and beat you at the gate of Starfall Hall.

It would be a disgrace to you.

What did you say?

Nothing. I'm going to sleep.

- I'm going to sleep. - Go to bed now.

You can never control me.

I can go wherever I want to go.

Xiao Yan!

- Master, listen to me! - Don't run!

You brat! Hang yourself up at the gate.

Master, let me explain. I've tried again and again.

This power on my forehead has no malicious intent.

And it's not like the Magic Poison Spot.

I can use my Fighting Energy normally.

Master, please let me try.

One cannot decide whether one lives or dies.

I'm willing to give it a shot.

Nonsense!

Two moons come together. Nine planets line up.

Tides flood the world. The demon flame surfaces.

The Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame is about to show up.

Master, we are running out of time.

Last time, although the energy absorption was terminated due to the power of your forehead,

your Fighting Energy did increase greatly.

This proves that the energy from the Root of Yang Flame did work.

Brat,

this is the time for you to break through to Fighting Saint.

Go ahead.

You're not stopping me?

The Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame has descended.

I received the power inheritance from the patriarch

and was able to enhance my energy with the tempered bloodline,

but I have yet to break through to the Fighting Saint.

Today, the alliance is going to war.

Led by Gu Yao and Xun'er,

with the help of the patriarchs of the Yao Clan and the Yan Clan,

we will fight against Soul Destroyer and subdue the Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame.

How was it?

It's one step closer.

The energy on the forehead still prevented the final impact.

Maybe it's God's will.

We should get going.

This is a space seal.

It was set up by the Purifying Demonic Lotus Saint.

The seal has been loosened.

Protection of power of the bloodline. Enter.

Yao Chen. Perfect timing.

As soon as you see the seal open,

you come over and reap the benefits.

When we enter the Demon Flame space,

you don't want us to save you, do you?

Yao Wangui, we're not your enemies.

Of course you want to be my enemy and my opponent.

But you're not worthy.

The Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame is beyond your reach.

You can dream about it.

But if you want to go in, you'll die.

Patriarch Yao, today I am not here

to compete with you for the Heavenly Flames,

but I am bent on helping the eight clans to subdue the Heavenly Flames.

It sounds nice. Would anyone believe it?

What I think is frank and candid. Believing it or not, is up to one’s heart

The Heavenly Flames are weird.

Although Yao Wangui is petty, he will not do this.

Do you think it is because of the Heavenly Flames?

Keep your mind calm.

[Demon Flame Space]

Master!

Master!

What is this? Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame.

Xiao Yan. Leave!

Soul Destroyer. Come at me if you dare!

Don't be in a hurry.

I'll get some interest from your master first.

Stop!

You want to incinerate me? You wish!

The Demon Flame is incredible. I almost fell for it.

Soul Destroyer.

You destroyed my entire clan!

Today, I'll make you pay in blood!

Yao Wangui, calm down.

- Master. - Xiao Yan.

Stop.

Another one.

All of the lackeys of the Hall of Souls have to die.

Fuse the Heavenly Flames.

Bone Spirit Cold Flame. Looks like it's real.

Wait. How do you prove you're real or not?

Brat, you still want to be beaten up?

Hold him off for me. I'll think of a way to save him.

Master, I can't hold on much longer.

I've seen it before.

The Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame would incinerate a person's body,

thus manipulating him into becoming a slave of it.

Now if we want to save him, we have to first repair his body.

Master, Three Thousand Burning Flame.

Three Thousand Burning Flame.

Three Thousand Burning Flame is the flame of the stars.

It has the power to repair and heal wounds. That's enough.

Xiao Yan, fight flame with flame.

Three Thousand Burning Flame.

Good.

Done.

Timing and subtitles brought to you by The Heaven's Fighters' Team ⚔️

Yao Chen, I saw the whole Yao Clan destroyed.

There was nothing I could do.

It was all just a vision. It wasn't real.

- It wasn't real? - No.

You saved me?

I didn't expect that.

How could I have been so pedantic?

The power of the bloodline doesn't mean everything.

Patriarch Yao, it is okay.

Today's top priority is to take in the Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame.

Yes.

What a Demon Flame! It was trying to purify me.

It's more than that.

If it wasn't for Xiao Yan, you'd already be...

Right?

I have also heard that the legendary Purifying Demonic Lotus Saint,

the last owner of the Demon Flame, is most famous

for his mastery of the Nightmare Heavenly Fog.

It could deliberately set up illusions to trigger a person's mood swings,

which would burn him.

Could it be that we are now

in the Nightmare Heavenly Fog?

But there's nothing wrong with the fog here.

That's what makes the Nightmare Heavenly Fog so powerful.

It's invisible, sometimes real, sometimes unreal,

and it makes people lose their lives without realizing it.

I got it.

If we meet others later, we have to identify them.

- Stop. - Master Yao.

I'm sure you recognize this. The Nightmare Heavenly Fog.

I'm sorry I can't believe you at the moment.

The same goes for you.

We all have to show some evidence.

Do you remember the coming-of-age ceremony invitation

sent to the Starfall Hall by the Gu Clan?

Of course.

The invitation bears the seal of the Gu Clan.

Just present it.

It belongs to the Gu Clan.

I wonder if Xiao Yan and the other...

I've already confirmed it.

About Yao Wangui? He was almost incinerated by the Demon Flame.

He just fought with us. It can't be an illusion.

As for Patriarch Gu... I still can't trust you completely.

Easy.

Xiao Yan, come out.

You'd better prove yourself.

Don't try to play tricks.

If I find out that you're actually the Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame,

I will not let you go.

Xiao Yan.

You're the most promising single young talent in the Central Plains.

You own the Starfall Hall and are a disciple of Medicine Sage.

Can't you tell if I'm real or not?

All right, enough. Patriarch Gu, we are family.

Stop.

You can only come here if you can prove if you're real or not.

Xiao Yan,

it's a waste of time for Xun'er to risk her life

to go to the Blazing Sky Qi Refining Tower to save you.

She went against the patriarch's orders for you.

She searched for Fighting Techniques for you.

She made an arduous journey and went to the Starfall Hall to find you.

She's in such a state, and you still want to stop me?

Patriarch Huo, it is indeed Gu Yao.

What happened to Xun'er?

When I met her, she was injured by Demon Flame

and was unconscious.

Xun'er shouldn't be like this since she owns

the Golden Emperor Burning Flame of the Gu Clan.

The Golden Emperor Burning Flame is one place lower

than the Purifying Demonic Lotus Flame on the Heavenly Flames Ranking.

It was to be expected that she was somewhat undefeated.

But it should be enough to keep her safe.

It was probably just that she had consumed too much.

- Okay, I'll do it. - Xiao Yan.

Xun'er has me and Gu Yao to look after her.

We need you and Huo Xuan's Heavenly Flames as induction

to prevent a sneak attack by the Demon Flame.

Let's go.
