to the wedding, and well, I think that

this weekend's wedding, well, from now on, I

mean, from tomorrow on, it will be the

opposite of what we had in Austria.

In Austria, well, no one wore masks, neither

at the wedding nor in the country.

that here in Spain, for months now, everyone

must wear masks, everyone must be very careful,

and even with everything, well, it is messing

up in our country, without knowing how or

why.

to you about the last pre-wedding we

did, a little while ago, and it was

on the beach, right?

how we work pre-wedding, is as follows,

How the pre-wedding was organized, how we

of the pre-wedding, how we work it,

where the ideas came from, the why, super

The couple hires us for a pre-wedding,

and the story is that the couple has

a little flat, a small apartment, near the

beach, specifically in Tarragona, in the south of

Catalonia, very close to Barcelona, but the girlfriend

tells me that the pre-wedding, they would

like to do it on the beach.

Of course, I am no one to take

away the illusions from any couple, if the

couple wants to go to the beach, and

on top of that he hires you, how

are you going to tell him no, right?

But of course, if I am telling you

heard that I, on the beach, I feel

helpless, I mean, I hardly have creative resources,

and once I have photographed the three resources

that the beach has for me, I mean,

sand, sea, and the sky, or the horizon,

I run out of ideas.

That the girlfriend wanted photos on the beach,

or the boyfriends wanted photos on the beach,

but the beach in summer is full of

people, with which, well, I talked to, well,

a small Mediterranean town, I mean, if I'm

not from Spain, I should tell you that,

not always, but in some parts of the

Mediterranean, there are small picturesque towns, which are

super beautiful, which is the typical white town,

super careful, super idyllic, and so with that,

I mean, I could shoot photos on the

beach, and also, after the beach, so that

the boyfriends, well, had their photos, we could

get lost a little in those little towns,

or in that town in question, so I

proposed to the bride to do the session

in Roda de Vará, and Roda de Vará

is a small Mediterranean town, white, in which

it has a multitude of resources, and it

has a couple of beaches, as well as

a kind of dock, in addition to a

small port, in which it will serve me

a little, first, to play in the dock,

because surely, well, I scratched something from there,

in addition to what is the little town,

which is all full of, well, of little

streets that enter and leave, if I say

a town, it means a town that will

live 100 people, 200 maximum people, that is,

with which you think that it is something

very, very reduced, that is, well, do not

think that it is a town with a

multitude of resources and such, although it is

true that Roda de Vará has, well, a

multitude of resources, because I had already visited

it, well, in the past, throughout the last

few years, three or four times to do

sessions, and also, Erika's parents have a little

flat, they have a very small apartment there,

with which, well, we have spent the summer

several times, and in fact, when we started

dating Erika, well, we lost, well, a multitude

of weekends there, so it was something that

well, she said yes, that she thought it

was a very, very brilliant idea, I told

makeup super early in the morning, but I

it much easier for us than Pixyset, and

way, comfortable, and that is something that I

always say, right?

That I do not start from minute one

and taking beautiful photos, but I need a

little bit, well, to set up a roll

with the couple, she also with me, right?

Like it has to be, like it has

to be something reciprocal, in which they, and

what we too, well, we are all there

together, right?

we create something interesting, right?

And well, we already started shooting with this,

you see that the sun had not yet

I don't know if you knew the painter

Joaquín Sorolla well, but if you don't know

of my favorite painters, he painted the Mediterranean

it reminds me a little of him, right?

come out, and as you are seeing, I

am already starting to play with the couple,

I tell them to stand there, in this

case I started working with 1.8 diaphragms,

I remember, okay?

And I started doing little things like this,

I prefer this to the previous one, right?

And well, once we had this, I remember

that we even went to the port area,

okay?

Because from beach to beach, first we started

by shooting these, the ones I have taught

you, okay?

Quickly, when I saw that the sun was

already starting to rise, I left the beach

and the port is right next door, okay?

I was a few meters away and I

started playing with more linear structures and we

got into this part of the breakwaters, okay?

To start doing little things like the ones

you are seeing, okay?

I like this one, this one too.

And once we already played with what was

the whole area of the breakwaters, once we

already believed that we already had enough material,

we simply went to a nearby beach, that

is, first we started with something super basic

and this, as you have already heard a

lot of times, right?

We always tend to start in a very

basic way to build that image little by

little, right?

From something basic like what you are seeing

now, there little by little it would grow

a little and notice that finally we ended

up in this, that this is already starting

to seem really interesting to me, okay?

In which we try to play with the

super clean background and above all, not with

the figures.

Notice that while I was doing this, okay?

Erika was doing this one here, right?

And I later, well, as I already changed,

right?

And it seemed to me as if it

were a Mexican hat, this here, so we

started pulling.

Notice that this is closer to my style,

as I have told you, or what photographically

attracts me the most, right?

But hey, they were super happy and the

truth is that there is something fundamental, right?

That, that is, Erika has always told me

this as a multitude of times, right?

We don't just take pictures, we are creating

experiences for the couple and we have to

embroider that perfectly for them.

If I am talking to you about experience,

it is because of the fact that the

couple has to feel that they are having

a fucking great time, they are living something

unique.

And the story is that this girl is

a very, very important doctor in a hospital

and she had been working like, well, on

the subject of the coronavirus, right?

Well, she had been working like four months

in which she had not stopped, that is,

she had not stopped.

They are going to get married, in theory,

in the month of October, that is, the

following month.

And what, and how beautiful it was, that

is, she told me, right?

How beautiful it is to organize a wedding,

it was turning into hell.

And for them, this session was, again, to

resume the wedding experience.

And I saw them at all times super

caramelized, it was noticeable that they were enjoying

the damn session, that is, and I saw

them, that is, how you see them, that

is, they laughed, that they were connected, that

is, as they crossed their gazes.

Enjoy the moment, that is, hug them, come

and laugh, right?

And it was the result, this one, right?

I mean, photographically it doesn't attract me, but,

remember this moment, right?

And taking advantage of the beauty of the

sky and the beauty of the light, because

couples tells me that, at some weddings, the

couple usually gives away, that is, a photo

And always, whenever I have a pre-wedding,

I force myself to take a photo for

the parents, something super basic, that they look

at the camera, that they laugh, everything with

good light, I mean, super basic, but I

think it's interesting too, okay?

And since I was there, well, of course,

I played with something else, with very low

lights, I don't know what, playing with my

hands, something softer, okay?

Now we are going to one of the

photos that I think is the most interesting.

I'm not going to dwell on this much,

because the off-camera, well, we are going

to tell you perfectly how we did it,

how we worked, where the idea came from,

and all that, so I don't want to

waste time on it now, okay?

And then we did little things, like the

ones you are seeing now, from this to

this, something more classic like this, something more

And then we went to a very crazy

part, which, as I tell you, I will

are the wooden umbrellas, and here I thought,

That it could seem interesting, that is, to

place the couple playing with space, right?

I mean, with the umbrellas, in which, because

of the umbrellas, you see that there was

a repetition, there were quite a few, with

which, well, I decided, I could play with

the couple, placing it as you are seeing

now, and what I could ask them, right?

That they simply separate from what was the

central structure of the umbrella, and just play,

right?

With what was the neutral background of the

sky, which was going to help me a

lot, and above all, with the repetition, right?

That is, with the repetition of the umbrellas,

that is, notice that I am again, right?

That is, playing with the, that is, with

the directors that I love to play, which

are clean backgrounds, as in this case the

sky, and then with the repetition of elements,

as would be the case with the umbrellas,

and I was already playing, right?

moving away, and I even put them in

many umbrellas had hammocks hanging, and of course,

it was a little complicated to find, that

it took us a long time.

If we had had all the clean umbrellas,

that is, without any hammock and without anything,

we would have played with a much more

repeated this pattern over and over again, and

photographer who copies himself, right?

ago, right?

Well, last year I used it, and this

When one uses the same pattern constantly, or

even if he does it once a year,

it is so evident that in the end

you can stop being surprised, right?

And I myself am not my worst judge,

so that's it, right?

You see that, well, that is, the image

always goes, that is, you have to understand

how the lights play, how shadows play, we

always have to understand that if we raise

a hand, if we lower it, a hand

will be in light, if we raise it

or move it, it will be in shadow.

It is simply to understand it, and it

is simply to play, that is, it may

seem that when you see the image alone

as such, it is a little complex, or

it is complicated, for example, to understand, but

once you understand the pattern, or you understand

how lights and shadows play, it is really

very, very simple, right?

So, well, as you are seeing now, I

was simply inviting the girlfriend to move to

one side, the boyfriend to move to the

other, and finally I played with the ring,

because, of course, the first idea was just

to play with my hands, but I already

realized that I had already done that, not

with that couple, but with another one a

year ago, so I tried to add an

element that seemed a little more differentiating, perhaps,

but hey, I don't know if I finally
