Welcome to a new chapter.

As you can see, in this chapter you

are not going to see my face, but

you are simply going to listen to me,

but I think it is better that you

see my photos and not see my face,

so let's go for it, right?

The origin of this video is simply to

tell you how we have designed the last

entry of the blog, specifically how we have

worked on the wedding of Daniela and Pascale,

which we photographed last September in Rello de

Calabria.

I know that we taught you a couple

of chapters ago, well, how we worked with

the slideshow, how we developed it, with which

I think it was a good exercise in

which we showed you the synthesis of that

slide, I mean, of those 200 photos that

you saw, you are going to see how

we have already made a huge synthesis, a

great summary and it has been 40 images,

right?

But I would like, or the origin of

this video is simply to show you what

has been our criterion when selecting and organizing

the order of the images that you are

going to see below, I mean, of the

blog that we have created, okay?

A little bit before we start, I would

like to address or I would like to

tell you several things that are really important

and that you may have already heard from

me at some point, but I feel the

need that I must tell you.

First of all, my career changed so simply,

my career changed when I started to decide

that I only published in my blog the

weddings that were better and I was only

going to publish, consequently, the photos that best

summarized or better explained who I was or

who we were as photographers.

That, believe me, helped me enormously as an

exercise for me as a photographer and especially

for my future clients, that already began to

separate clients who maybe did not like the

style or what we were publishing because it

was too radical in quotes but on the

contrary we won other types of clients who

helped us to be the photographers that we

are in short and that we could be

more at ease or more comfortable photographing a

type of weddings that was closer to the

type of weddings that we wanted to photograph.

Also something very very important and that is

to publish what helps me or publish a

blog entry, what helps me is that it

is to be a better photographer, I mean,

in my subconscious every time I publish a

blog entry like this one by Pascale and

Daniela, what happens is that I am going

to force myself or I am going to

deceive myself to make the next blog entry

better, I mean, the next wedding that I

photographed, my mission is to surpass this wedding

and in short to surpass myself, you understand

me, it is as if I deceive myself

and that will make it quite easy for

me to grow as a photographer, you understand,

so having said all this, we are going

to start talking a little bit about how

we started, of course, the starting point, the

most important point of all is how we

started.

My idea or what we want is that

we always like to start with a photograph

that is not very obvious and that it

is not, even if it is like this,

a portrait as such, but that it is

not just a very basic portrait, but that

it has something else and what we decided

to work or open, sorry, with this image

in which two people are seen, a couple

inside a car in which it seems that

the car is going, it is not moving

forward, it is a little bit, it is

a little bit, because I wanted this to

be an allegory towards the couple, it is

not a couple that is loved and that

their life circulates at a huge speed, that

everything that is around them goes at a

great speed.

Having said this, we start as always writing

a text, I know that photographers, including me,

do not like to write anything, that is

why we are photographers and not writers, but

it is necessary for Google to know that

we are wedding photographers and this is a

blog of wedding photographers, I mean, Google does

not know, does not know that we are

just wedding photographers, of course, our website will

already be encased by Google that we are

photographers and in this case weddings, but we

have to clearly emphasize context that we are

wedding photographers and notice that if we put

here, for example, wedding in Italy, it is

super important that in the first sentence that

we start or that we start is very

similar or similar to what the title is,

because that Google indexes it quite, quite, quite

well.

In my posts, each one is totally free,

but I like a little bit to make

a small presentation, in which I talk a

little bit about personal aspects, about how I

met, for example, Pascale and then what it

means or what it is for me to

photograph weddings and then to include a little

bit or to give some more information I

talk about what it has been for me

or for us to photograph weddings in Italy

in different regions and all this, notice that

I do not write it in Italian or

much less in English or in Spanish, but

I already go, I write it directly in

English because I am trying, it is a

little difficult, but I try that this post

has been created for future international couples who

are going to get married in Italy, so

we are going to start with the first

photo, the first photo that I wanted to

show is a super soft photo in which

someone is seen, notice that we do not

give clues of who he is, you can

imagine that it may be the boyfriend, but

I do not show it perfectly that it

is him, of someone who drinks something very

relaxed, notice that I go to someone or

more people who are raising, I mean, here

nobody raises the glass, but here they do

raise it, so that later they throw it

at someone, do you understand?

That union between these three images is, I

think, very important that I explain to you

or that I try to convey to you,

that each image precedes the previous one, that

is, I mean, all images are intertwined in

one way or another, either by force, or

by colors, or by states of, for example,

emotion, or by force, or by the symbology,

as it would be in this case, of

someone who drinks, someone who drinks, someone who

raises the glass, and that same glass to

someone who throws it at someone, you see

that we try to convey what the girlfriend

does and what the boyfriend does in each

of our images, okay?

And that each of them is completely intertwined,

okay?

Notice that once I have all this, there

is all this, of the people who are

throwing the buckets, or what they threw, or

the sodas on top of Pascale, we continue

with someone who is raising something, but they

no longer raise glasses, they no longer raise

alcohol, they no longer raise drinks, but they

raise a wedding dress.

We finally show the viewer that we are

in front of a wedding report, of a

couple who is about to get married.

As you can see, we did not start

with rings, with wedding shoes, with a hanging

dress, much less, but we started by showing

the viewer that this is going to be

a big party, but clearly we are talking

about a big party, until we say that

it is going to be a big wedding

party.

And we already show the dress.

As you can see, after this dress, or

after this girlfriend who is holding something, we

go for something completely different, okay?

In which the emotions change completely, we face

the groom and we are already showing the

viewer the madness that is, or that continues

to be maintained from the beginning, okay?

And as you are seeing, notice that for

me the groom is leaning on his left

hand and it is as if he were

a peonza, he could turn around himself.

And if here we see the face of

the groom, who is about to get married,

here we see just the opposite, but he

is in motion.

If here the groom, as I was saying,

looks like a peonza, here the bride also

looks like a peonza and is turning on

herself.

As you can see, the hair is providing

that movement, which in turn, that hair is

reflected, or you can see its shadow, in

the little light that is on that wall.

Also, notice that Erika, I photographed this fucking

mother, that I photographed the moment when we

can see that the dress begins to rise.

But we can see not only her hair

in the air, which gives us movement, but

we can also see her underwear.

And I love that, because we are already

adding another added element, which is sensuality.

We are showing the guy, the body of

the bride, we are intuiting, without seeing anything

else, that she is a pretty sexy woman,

we are seeing her underwear and at the

same time we are seeing the bride's dress,

with which everything is working perfectly.

Remember, the photo, each photo precedes the subsequent

one.

We see Pascale, his face, we see that

he is about to fall, we see that

his body will turn to the right, and

we see how Daniela's body is also going

to turn to the right, but we do

not see her face.

From not seeing people's faces, we go to

a close face, a close-up, okay?

Of something I didn't have, that is, notice

that this one fits perfectly with this one,

okay?

From a close-up, that we can't see

anything, what?

An eye, right?

We go towards this one.

Do you understand?

Something that we cannot see, something that is

hidden, which is Pascale's eye, is her eye,

the eye that sees everything, right?

It is like someone who is attentive to

everything that is happening.

As you can see, in this one there

is not a whole human body, in this

one there is not a whole human body

either, the pressure or the tension is beginning

to increase towards the viewer, and as you

are seeing, the tension continues.

As an anecdote, this photo was captured after

the ceremony, but no one knows except the

couple, but I show it now, because it

would be, in theory, the moment that should

be seen for me, right?

In which he says goodbye to his grandmother

before going to the ceremony, do you understand?

From this hand, from these two hands, sorry,

we go to these, okay?

We still don't see a whole human body,

only small parts.

In this way, we are creating a huge

tension.

But, as you already know, I am only

showing those parts of the human body that

I like so much.

Hands, eyes, lips, and, as you can see,

there is the left leg, that left leg

with that shoe that is about to be

placed, that leg coincides perfectly with this one.

And we already put the face of one

of the protagonists.

As you have been able to see, in

these last four photos, the only mission was

to generate tension, to generate tension to the

viewer, and it definitely leads to this, in

Pascal's face, waiting, for example, for Daniela.

As you can see, here I added a

small text and a subtext.

The subtext is this, okay?

Google loves this, that we are creating subtexts,

subtexts that are known as H2 in WordPress,

okay?

In addition to, well, all the text of

this, which I already know is very lazy,

but it works quite well and Google, as

I have told you, indexes it quite well.

From a photo, not very obvious, but it

is understood, right?

That there is a boyfriend who is waiting

for his girlfriend to arrive.

From a photo like this, we are going

to go for a transition photo that Erika

captured perfectly and I love it, right?

Those two hands that are about to close

a door, one that helps the other.

And from this transition photo, in which there

are no boyfriends, in which it is something

that is happening and that gives it a

super important aspect, we are going to this

one, which I also captured this image after

visiting the grandmother, the grandmother that I told

you about a few minutes ago.

Notice that these hands coincide perfectly with these,

are you seeing?

This image is perfectly linked and it is

another transition photo and I want to show

the viewer that the bride was leaving, you

understand?

She was going to the ceremony, it is

false, she was already married, she was going

to the ceremony and Pascale is also going

to the ceremony.

As you can see, this little face, if

it goes down, the virtual algorithm makes it

go to Pascale and it goes from the

upper right side to the lower left side,

you understand?

It is like a game in which one

goes to the other and from the lower

left side to the lower right side.

We cannot see Pascale's eyes, we cannot see

Daniela's eyes either.

Now, let's break the rhythm completely and we

already arrive with Pascale or I already arrived

with him and I just love this image,

it is something that is like ancient Italy

of all life, in which we can see

those paintings of bishops, of the Pope, and

we see how it seems that something is

happening between the priest and the groom, it

seems that the priest is telling him something

that does not work well for the face

of both Pascale, as you can see, he

is about to pick up the phone or

he has already picked up the phone to

call, his gaze is very low, I mean,

I like this image so Italian, so 50

years ago, that it seems that it was

not captured a few weeks ago, if not

this.

I try to convey this and this, something

so in quotes, that is generating a tension,

we are going for something super happy, something

that is happening.

What happened with Pascale?

That he had problems with the priest.

What happens with the bride?

No, it is just the opposite, they have

got into a car.

From something with a lot of information, from

something with a lot of energy, we move

on to something with very little energy, with

very soft, very soft, that makes us ask

ourselves many things.

From something that we have here with a

lot of information, to something with very little

information.

Here we see many faces, here we do

not see any.

And from something that we do not see

the face of the groom, we go again

with the energy of the bride, something that

is counterpoint, okay?

It is like always looking for the tension,

always looking for the contrast, always looking for

the photo, each photo precedes its subsequent.

Very well, we continue simply talking about what

would be, as I had told you, about

the H2 or the subtitles.

Believe me, we had many much better images

than these, but I wanted to show this

photo on purpose, so that it could be

seen, so that the viewer understood that the

number of people who were waiting for the

bride, the expectation, and notice that there are

two photographers with a videographer waiting for the

bride, eh?

Very well, and we already changed the registry

for something completely different, the priest taking a

camera.

We had a multitude of images of the

church, but we only worked with the best,

or with the best.

From the priest holding the camera, to the

two photographer boyfriends, both wedding photographers taking a

photograph, do you understand me?

And from a super open photograph with a

multitude of information, we go for another super

closed image, with very little information, we go

with something very open to something very closed.

What will be the next one?

Something super open again.

And we are going to go for something

completely different.

You are seeing that I am completely changing

the registry, I am going up and down,

that is, with this image, what I intended

was simply to convey just the opposite, it

was not like an image in which the

couple is on the way to something.

It is again a transition photo.

And again, we are going to go with

an H2, and then go out with something

completely different.

Again, a transition photo that everyone knows, everyone

knows clearly, that the couple on the left

is looking at a phone, or they are

connected to each other, and the others, and

the four girls, or the four women on

the right, we already intuit that they are

four people who are looking, they are waiting

for someone to arrive.

Do you understand who arrives?

That's it.

Before this image, or sorry, between this image

and this image, at least four hours have

passed.

The dinner, the speeches, the arrival of the

boyfriends at dinner ...

If we do not have images that work

well, we will not show them.

Please, be demanding of yourself, be hard, publish

only the best, do not think that you

have to publish for the couple, just publish

for yourself.

We continue and the time for the party

This photo, I was tempted to put it

as the opening photo, but it seemed too

obvious to me, and besides, it was not

mine, but it was Fabio's.

From Fabio we have only used three or

four images, and this is one of them,

so it did not seem entirely ethical to

work or open the post, my blog, with

a photo of another photographer.

That was the reason why I did not

use it.

And as you are seeing, here we are

already starting to increase the rhythm.

There will no longer be so few transition

photos, but we will be opening and approaching,

and the mission will always be to show

images as powerful or as visual as possible

to hook the viewer at all times.

Of course, if I have Pascal here in

the foreground, who is drinking, here, as it

is obvious, I am not going to show,

for example, Daniela in the foreground, but I

am going to show an open shot and,

above all, show the father as well as

saying, hey, let's see what you do with

my daughter, right?

And as it is obvious, here we already

started with the party and we are going

to go to death, right?

It could be said that they are images

that are perhaps too obvious, except for this

one, which is the last one with which

I say goodbye, with which I try to

break everything previous, which could be said to

be a transition image and it is an

image that nobody knows what the boyfriend is,

but it is an image in which it

shows us that the party, if it has

not finished, is about to finish and is

quite crazy, because we are seeing that the

boyfriend, in this case, or someone, no longer

wears shoes.

You see that it is super important not

only to start with a good image, but

above all to end with a powerful image.

If we end with a basic image, it

is something that the viewer expects, imagines.

So nothing more friends, so far everything, I
