weeks since we have hired a wedding.

Of course, normally I have to tell you

that in our case we usually hire one

wedding a week, one wedding every ten days.

Sometimes we may be twenty days without hiring

and the next week we may hire three

weddings or one or two.

But the point is that I am not

worried but I am thinking about it and

I have even thought about it.

Am I doing something wrong?

Has something strange happened?

Have I changed something?

Have I modified something from what I had

a few months ago?

The truth is, that said, that I have

changed something and that is that I have

raised rates.

And that may have been a determining factor.

I must also tell you, before I keep

talking, that for next year we have hired

24 weddings.

Our limit is 28.

If I say 28 it is because it

is the number that Erika has told me

that is our limit.

It is not because Erika told me, but

the experience tells us that every year we

usually photograph around 26, 28, 27 weddings.

And that is the figure or the perfect

number to work very hard, believe me, we

don't have time.

But it is the number in which we

have more or less calculated everything.

From time to money, well, I mean, it's

like the figure.

Exceeding that figure or even that figure, and

it is a high figure, would imply that

we would not be able to deliver the

quality that we want to deliver to our

partners.

In fact, one year we had 32 weddings,

it has been the limit, or 33.

And believe me, the season ends very, very

tired and I didn't quite like the final

result or the experience.

So I prefer to end up at 26,

27, a maximum of 28.

Of course, having hired 24 weddings, what have

I done?

Well, as I have told you, raising tariffs

clearly and not accepting what I simply consider

to be a wedding that will not even

give me photos, just a little money.

For that I prefer to wait, of course,

the moment I prefer to wait means that

I take risks.

Taking risks means saying no to partners, I

mean, making up that the date is occupied.

Of course, when you say that, it is

a risk because you think that the moment

you are free, but you say that you

are busy, money would arrive that does not

arrive, and you do not know either if

you are going to end up hiring that

date, right?

For example, on September 10, next year's Saturday,

I have already said no, I have two

partners, because he has not convinced me.

Even a third proposal from a wedding planner

came in, a very good wedding for September

10, but we have not been able to

hire this one.

I mean, several weddings have come together, or

rather several proposals that we have not been

able to hire or that the couples have

not liked the style or the price, maybe,

I do not know, because we have not

even gotten together and we have received proposals

that we have not accepted, you understand me?

So it is a risk, but of course,

I have already done this before, I mean,

this is not the first year that I

take risks.

In fact, taking risks in terms of new

contracts already occurred from the 2015 season to

the 16th.

heard in interviews that 2015 was a very

difficult year for me, and for the 16th

I only decided to hire the weddings that

caught my attention, that is, that I liked,

That meant that I remember that every year

It was no coincidence, but taking incredible risks,

like now, I'm taking risks, coming to reject,

for example, weddings that I think are not

going to happen to me.

It does not mean that they are bad

weddings, but they are weddings in many of

the local businesses or in the city next

door that I know well, they are very

basic farms, very normal boyfriends that I say,

that yes, they will be very nice and

they will pay me what I want, but

I need photos of that alive, in addition

to the money.

As I say, everything takes a risk in

this life and you have to think sometimes,

sometimes it goes well, sometimes it goes wrong,

I already have 24 weddings hired that can

go wrong, even if I don't hire any

I mean, for 24 weddings, if they are

if my photograph is already a risk, why

If we don't fool ourselves, my photograph, as

much as you like it, is not suitable

for all couples.

I'm not talking about a couple having to

be smart to like my photograph, no, no,

I mean, you like it because I'm a

photographer, fuck, but believe us that the last

couple, for example, that contacted us, for example,

a great wedding planner, it is worth that

the wedding planner has a very classic profile,

but we have already worked with him several

times and people with a lot of money,

in a social class and even sometimes politicians

and all this, because the clients said no,

that our style did not convince them.

And we have received it like that.

So for 2022, as I tell you, I

simply have four weddings to hire, so I

will continue to take risks and at the

weddings, I would start to worry.

After a year as bad as the 20th,

I would have to fix it, then I

would start to feel some pressure and I

would start to accept weddings that, in quotes,

could be more normal, right?

But with 24 weddings, I'm going to go

for all of them and if I'm wrong,

there's time next year to change or to

reconvert or to rethink all this a little

more, but we'll see.

For 2023, we are receiving proposals, but as

it is obvious, I am not accepting almost

any, that is, it has to be a

very good wedding, like one in early July

that we have closed brutally, another that we

are in the process, which is a very

good wedding planner with a foreign couple that

we already photographed then we are at that,

we have also accepted a great wedding at

the end of the year 2023, that's crazy,

I mean, because I don't usually accept a

wedding with so much time, but we have

accepted a wedding for 2023, well, he has

not accepted, I love it, I am impatient

to get to that, because he is a

very recognized photographer from Latin America, I can't

away, but he is getting married at the

contacted us, and as it is obvious, we

are going there to do that wedding, I
