Here we are in the second part of

the explanation of how we made the slideshow.

Remember that in the first video we told

you a little bit about all the background

of the wedding, how we organized and designed

the first slideshow, and how it was a

disaster.

Well, not a disaster, but it didn't end

up getting where we wanted to get.

And that's why this video, this second part,

is designed to tell you how we correct

all the different mistakes we made in the

first video.

Remember that all this came because, as always,

we like to surround ourselves with people who

love us, and for us the people who

love us are those people who tell us

both the good and the bad.

So they told us that the slideshow had

to be improved, and we got on with

it.

So let's start by telling you, before showing

it to you, what things we incorporated or

changed to improve the quality.

First of all, we looked for a song,

because in the first slideshow, as you have

seen, this was just the groom's voice doing

the speech.

With a little music that you could hear

in the background of the ceremony.

Yes, with the air and our shots.

There were many things that we didn't like,

so we thought that by including a song,

we could make the slideshow have a little

more rhythm, and hide those little things that

we didn't like.

And that's when Víctor, the poor guy, spent

a lot of hours looking for a song.

Because the song, sorry Erika, is very important.

I found it on artlist.io. It cost

me a lot.

On artlist.io, for every thousand songs, you

can find a good one.

But that good one helped us a lot,

and it was the one I proposed to

Erika.

Yes, and I liked both of them.

Both were great, but this one was fantastic.

Because it's a slow song, but it had

peaks and valleys, and peaks that went up

a little, and that would allow us to

raise the rhythm of the wedding, because it

wasn't a very slow slide.

Yes, exactly.

And another thing that we started to change

was the order of the photos.

Well, before that, I wanted to say something

that is important, that we never did, and

this is the first time, that we chose

a song, and then what we did was

to take all the speech, we transcribed it

in a notebook, and we began to underline

and write down what we wanted to appear

in that slide.

And we put together, first of all, the

music and the speech.

And from there, as Víctor says, we started

with the photos.

But it was something we had never done

before, and this way it worked very well

for us, because there we had the scheme

where the moments had to go up, and

the ones that didn't, and that helped us

a lot to have that scheme quite balanced.

Of course, and then it was the choice,

for example, of the photos.

And if you remember, and if you don't

take a look, the way, for example, to

start the first version of the slide, we

already started with a super direct photo.

In which we are already presenting the viewer

in 0.1 seconds who the couple is.

But one of our peculiarities of our photography

is that we are not obvious, and we

always like that the viewer who looks at

our photos imagines things, asks questions, all this

set of things that I have already talked

about so many times.

But if we are like that photographically, why

not do it in the video too?

Do you understand me or not?

So what we did was, instead of presenting

the couple in the first second, we didn't

do it like that, but we started by

presenting silhouettes, gestures, moments, something more subtle than

the other way around.

Yes, in the end I think that makes

the viewer wake up, to know more, to

want to see the faces of that couple.

And that's it, we start with something very

subtle, without showing faces, just silhouettes, and then

when half of the slide they already appear.

But this makes the rhythm of the slide

win a lot, because in the end we

don't do it in a monotonous way, and

that helped us a lot to get the

concept of how we wanted to show our

slides.

If we are not obvious, why in a

slide we are so traditional of the first

photo, the typical pose that looks very handsome,

and that's it.

And also, for example, we removed all the

texts that were there, there were a lot

of words that I think were already there.

It's something that after they told us, it

was like, wow, you are right about the

world, in the end we are taking away

importance.

And in some of them we tried to

play with the music, with the speech of

the boyfriend, and when there was speech of

the boyfriend, we also tried to make the

images that appeared at that moment relate a

little to what he was saying.

We also did some parts where the photos

had a much longer time, because they had

to breathe.

And because we wanted the photos to be

protagonists, more than just music.

Because in other slides, for example...

Yes, the music is the protagonist, and everything

is based on music.

According to the rhythm of the music, the

photos fit, and now it was just the

other way around, depending on the photos, the

music fit.

And that allowed the photos to stretch a

little more, as Erika said, to breathe, and

in the end the spectator could enjoy them.

It's something that we hadn't done before.

The first experience was difficult, but I think

we liked it, and I think we will

continue doing it, because why not, right?

I think that at the moment we are

in, we can take a little risk, and

in the end it's something that you also

have to do, you take a little risk,

and in the end you have different types,

and there are clients, within the type of

client that you have...

Not you, us.

Well, not us, but both of them.

I mean, each one has their clients, and

within the ones that we have, which are

already set, each one can like one way

or another, or their wedding is represented, or

is explained much better in one way than

another.

Hey, I was getting messages that I've been

seeing, that they're telling me not to get

too involved, that we should show them the

slide.

So that they don't like it.

Well, said all this nonsense, we show you

the slide, the last version, of which we

feel, I don't know if proud, but happy.

Well, our great day has finally arrived.

This July 17th, we've dreamed so much.

And today we're here, you and me, both

of us, one in front of the other,

to get married for the second time.

But I wouldn't only do it for the

second, third or fourth time, I would do

it a thousand times more, because you're the

best woman in the world.

In these days, preparing my vows, looking back,

I have remembered, with a lot of joy

and happiness, each and every one of our

vows.

Among them, I have remembered our first trip

together, in Algarve, Portugal.

In that round apartment, where the voltage dropped,

because I spent all the hot water from

the thermos, and I didn't have a place

to shower afterwards.

In the end, photography, especially wedding photography, is

a bit of trial and error, always taking

risks.

Experience tells us that taking risks has always

helped us a lot.

It's more difficult and you have to put

a lot more effort and hours, but I

think that in the end the reward is

greater.
