hello and welcome I'm Roger solivan

Raven Rock is a small community which

has been shrouded in

mystery in fact many say there have been

horrific events happening ever since its

founding one thing's for sure it's had

more than its share of

tragedy tonight we have with us Helen

Bates a local historian who has

discovered some astounding facts about

Raven rck what is going on in this

town never seen a case affect you like

this one you uncover about Ren

well when my daughter and I first moved

to this area one of the first things

that I discovered was there are mines

and tunnels running underneath the

entire town coal mines of course yes and

during the research um there were also

several miners um that lost their lives

in a mind collapse terrible yes yes it's

very terrible um the disappearances in

the town and the loss of life I feel

like there there needs to be more

research certainly yes

you know if you drink coffee you'd be

more awake in the morning no caffeine

for me all right but you're missing out

it's totally nectar from the gods you're

not going to convert

me man you're getting as stubborn as I

am oh that's a

stretch so are you nervous about this

Raven Rock thing not really so what

about your contact in ravenrock she

stopped answering my

calls are you sure this is a good idea

what do you mean Piper I love you you

know that right I mean you're the most

stubborn and hard-headed girl I know and

that's why I'm so batshit crazy about

you but I mean I'd be lying if I said

this Raven Rock thing didn't concern me

just a

bit you do know who you're talking to

right Caleb look I get your concerns and

they're totally warranted it's just

there's so many unanswered questions

that I feel like need resolving and you

know that once I start something I yeah

I know you see it through exactly and

look if I get my way on this one you'll

totally be there with me so you can

protect me and flex your masculinity and

all that chest oh yeah you totally know

I'm going to be

there see there's nothing to be worried

about all right I totally need to get

dressed no you totally don't Caleb Piper

I don't have time just let me love you

you I legit need to get ready now you

[Music]

done what you writing just some last

minute notes last minute notes you

nervous okay not at

all

okay afternoon ladies and gentlemen

thank you for joining us for this uh

impromptu matine couple quick notes

before we get started Selena is going to

be joining you on this assignment she is

there to make sure that things run

professionally and

efficiently Piper of course is our lead

but Selena is there to keep things

running smoothly all

right uh also we've got a gentleman that

looks like will be joining you as kind

of a security measure so Selena if you

would good afternoon kids as you know

Joe and I have always prided ourselves

and going where the story is and it just

so happens that the presentation and

story you're about to see today comes

from our very own Rising Star here at

Millennial research Society Miss Piper

Bennett

all right guys I'll get straight to

it the town of ravenrock it's been dead

for over 30

years present time it's abandoned

condemned and walled off from the

outside world at one point in time it

was a small isolated login Community who

at its peak had a population of some

1,200

of it been logging it was also known for

its rye whiskey and

Orchards however that's not all it's

known

for there's a highly irregular number of

missing persons cases that's attributed

to this

area this goes as far back as the late

80s in

1986 people were disappearing in

ravenrock alone more than 12 times the

national average

in the 80s author Helen Bates and her

daughter moved to ravenrock where Helen

Bates investigated the

town while digging into the town's

history Helen mysteriously took her own

life

Jesus the town was walled off but the

disappearances continued as Legend

Trippers and Ghost Hunters ventured into

the area about a year ago authorities

chased serial killer Vance Malone into

the town I remember hearing about that

that guy tortured and murdered over a

dozen women police chased him across two

state lines unfortunately once Vance

crossed into the town he

disappeared there's no trace of

him most

recently this is contractor Benjamin

Weaver he purchased Raven Rock in the

surrounding

areas his daughter disappeared from his

home last

October the investigation to find his

daughter was luster at

best his family is still looking for

answers and that brings us here into

today Mr Weaver has funded this

investigation to ravenrock our job is to

go to ravenrock uncover the truth about

the

disappearances and break the

story Piper as intriguing as all of this

sounds uh am I the only one who thinks

going into a Terrain we know nothing

about without any knowledge of its

conditions or schematics a little bit

intimidating yeah you know I'd follow

you into hell if I had enough time to

prepare but with this we don't know what

the hell we're going to find and if I

end up on a missing person's poster my

mom will kill

me well as it turns out we might have a

guide who Maya Bates Helen bates's

daughter it was hard to track her down

but I think with a little Financial

coaxing she'll be on our team even with

a guide how are we supposed to defend

ourselves I've seen this movie before

we're going to get attacked by some

Backwoods hillbillies that want to make

us into a meal as Joe mentioned earlier

the owner is going to be sending along

one of his associates with us as Piper

was saying before he's former military

and well equipped to handle the

situation should it

arise I don't know the number of missing

persons is staggering this seems

legitimately dangerous I'm in I mean

let's blow the lid off this thing right

come on guys this is a once in

a-lifetime

[Music]

Opportunity it

let's do

it

ra I'm in I guess just be careful

[Music]

yeah

[Music]

[Music]

you act like you've never seen a camper

before you stopped answering my calls

and you clearly didn't take my

hint look I know what you're thinking

and no I don't live

here this is just somewhere I come when

I need to get away clear my head or

hide yeah or that Maya I need to know if

you've given ravenrock a second

thought I don't have to I already told

you I'm not going several times we're

willing to pay for your

services my services really kid you're

wanting me to hold your hand while you

and your friends play Ghost Hunter in a

town that's been dead for 30 years there

are a ton of people out there willing to

do that you don't need me you're from

there you know the area you know what

it's like living there we need your

knowledge look you already got my answer

now I suggest you leave before you piss

me off

[Music]

$22,000 there's a reason that town has

been shut off from civilization okay

nothing good comes out of that town fine

3,000

$3,000 to guide us through the town that

should be more than enough to cover

whatever you

[Music]

need all right fine I'll think about it

but trust me when I say if we do this

you're not going to find what you're

looking

for but if you're willing to pay me I'm

willing to look past the fact that

you're a complete thank

you Maya so when is this all even

happening 2 weeks from now I'll give you

a call and let you know great I can't

wait you can go now good

[Music]

you decided to come don't get too

excited there sorority I'm not here for

you here for the

money that's okay better be

Piper Mr Weaver as originally discussed

this is Mr Lutz he'll be escorting you

and your team into town glad to have you

with us Mr Lutz just here to assist you

all with anything that you may need and

to keep you safe of course we appreciate

it

Mr Weaver hi I'm

sleep all right let's

[Music]

go Tom get your ass on the cat

[Music]

just so you guys know that silent sker

back there was ey all of us yeah

I apologize for that different after the

fire May ravenrock killed himself right

here no

ow tied rocks around his ankles and

jumped it's not exactly a quick way to

go it's almost like he wanted to suffer

so the town is this way

right into the bridge we'll be in Raven

Rock All Right

[Music]

[Music]

well guys we made it you hear that I

don't hear anything but the creek

exactly complete

silence how creepy is is that no birds

no

animals no

anything how far to town Maya just

around that

curve all right let's

go so Mr Les mhm do you think the town's

haunted certainly believe it's possible

I mean from what I come to understand uh

a whole lot of bad come down on this

side of the river my mom believed that

all the bad things that went down were

all

connected it's not creepy or anything

[Music]

this

was that was the gas station Eng General

Store holy the happened

here let's go check it

out uh how about you let me go first

sure

you coming in

Maya probably black mold in there I'm

breathing that in got to protect

the lungs

right you sure you want to be out here

by

yourself I'll be fine

oh what is that rancid

smell smells like roted meat oh oh

I think it' be sick that smells

like my a looks like

a

kyogi anym

come on MAR home

[Music]

sorry it was just a beautiful

shot you okay why you going to ask me

out or something excuse me going to

whine me and dine me maybe take me to

meet Mom and Dad no I was just cuz if

not kid don't act like you give a damn

how I'm doing okay

hey you everything cool yeah

everything's

fine okay let's not all stand around

here gawking we still have plenty of

time for that we still need to find a

place to establish base

camp Hey Selena can I talk to you

[Applause]

sure listen I know Joe sent you here to

keep us under wraps but I think it would

be best if for the remainder of the

investigation you let me direct my team

your team that's right my

team listen there's a reason I chose the

people I did we work as a cohesive unit

and if you want the rest of this

investigation to run smoothly you'll let

me give the

direction okay Hot Shot I'll let

teachers pet take the lead for now

all right everyone let's find a place to

establish base camp if uh if I can make

a

suggestion I think we should establish a

base camp on the outskirts of town um

open field something along those lines

agreed Maya do you know of a

place yeah just down that road a little

bit

let

[Applause]

[Music]

sweet sweet

[Music]

AA Maria honey are you okay then come

look

quick

[Music]

what it's AA she's outside she's

outside Mommy's coming

[Music]

honey there's nobody outside

Eva Ava Ava mommy's

here Ava where are

you Ava come on AA I'm here Maria

Eva she's not here honey no I saw her B

she's not here

AA no

AA no no sweetie she's not here you know

that no no I saw

saw I saw I

saw oh God I saw

[Music]

[Music]

what's

that

well if I'm

right this is the entrance to the

tunnels that run underneath the

town hey

Maya um we got tents and a fire set up

if you want to come join us

[Music]

[Music]

okay appalation cell service

sweetheart you weren't going to get

anything out

here I had one bar earlier Mr L

[Music]

you ever have a memory that dances

around in your head like an old

song you recognize the tune but you

can't quite place the

words that's what this place is to

[Music]

me a song that I know but I don't

know I remember names and how my mom and

I knew people

but their faces are completely lost to

me

in my mind they're

like like statues without

[Music]

faces there was a Mrs Gordon she owned

the bakery

here my mom loved that

place she must have taken me there three

to four times a

week and every

time Mrs Gordon would give me my very

own piece of Apple High to eat while she

and my mom talk to recipes and baking

secrets that sounds like a good memory

to hold on

to I also remember walking into town

with my mom just in time to see them

weedling her body out from her apple

orchard funny isn't

it how the bad memories hold more weight

than the

good why do you think that is

[Music]

that's my Quee to go in the tent yeah

I'm coming with you oh come on guys it's

just a coyote Piper I don't do wolves

and I'm going to go in that tent

and be safe chicken see you guys in the

morning

[Music]

[Music]

Maria honey you about ready for

bed this is all your

fult oh H come please don't do this

again you've wasted a year a

year doing nothing

nothing I could put up with a lot of

Maria but that's not one of them

not from you you know I've never stopped

looking for her it's not

[Music]

be a man for once of your

lies

Maria stop

it you're certainly not a father stop it

you should have been out there every day

looking for her you should have found

her you should be searching everywhere

to find her and bring her home I

have you're useless you're pathetic and

tripping you you should have

been you not H it should have been you

not I wish it had been every day you

know

[Music]

that I can't do this without

her I can't I can't go on without her

please I don't want to

be don't say that

I don't want to live without her don't

say that don't ever say that you're all

I

have where is

she where's my baby I promise I want to

find her

[Music]

we're almost

ready I'm not going anywhere without

lets I'm sure he's fine he's probably

Scout in the Aira or something without

his gun I knew I didn't try trust this

uh I don't know rage we've been

up for an hour where do you go for an

hour she's probably hunting a wild boar

with his teeth and cooking it for

breakfast Felix the guy is not that

tough okay so I'm going to wake up

Little Miss princess here so we can get

going yeah that's all you Captain yep

have

fun hey Maya do you think you can

remember where your house

was other side of Town Jacobson Street I

think okay we're going to go check it

out today okay fine

[Music]

how's Miss Weaver doing this

morning just having a rough time

lately to be honest it feels like I'm

losing her more and more every

day this morning I made her favorite

breakfast she didn't even touch it she

probably want to get out of bed

today is there anything I can

do I appreciate that

but things have been getting worse

lately

anyways you heard anything from

Frank actually I haven't heard anything

from Frank damn

it you should have heard something by

now

yeah the hell is that

thing

what oh I think it's Frank

right God damn it

Frank

oh my

God what

happened monster monster monster

Monster fast fast and strong

strong what oh the room got what room

full of bodies full of bodies and

Bones B man don't go in there I'm here

Frank don't go there don't go in there

don't go in there okay okay we we won't

go in there Frank I promise we won't go

in

there Frank Frank God damn it

Frank damn it buddy

Dam go call the

cops wait not

yet sorry

buddy currently walking through the town

of Raven Rock buildings are dilapidated

and have once again been embraced by

Nature

embraced does that sound too dramatic

huh what embrac yeah H I like it gives

it that seductive mysterious feel too

yeah there is nothing seductive about

this place I think I need a tetanus shot

just being here ah could be worth you

could be at base camp with

Selena God you know I think I'd rather

go straight and have Mr Green Lick

peanut butter off my NE evil than be

anywhere with that woman Jesus

yeah I hate

her grass C reclaimed by Nature I like

that I like it dig

it hey P so I'm thinking about going to

take some interior shots of those

buildings no come on Caleb just stick

with us I don't want you going into any

of those buildings alone God knows what

could happen but what if I promise to be

very

does it take 10 minutes tops we legit

need to keep moving no it's cool like

you guys go on without me just few

minutes I

swear 10 minutes tops love you you're

crazy bro I got to get the shot keep

your radio hot yeah

[Music]

watch

[Music]

hello that's

[Music]

creepy

Maya what is it

so you grew up here

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

M's

[Music]

Journal tomorrow my daughter and I are

leaving the town of ravenrock it's no

longer safe for us here knowing what I

[Music]

know Maya sweetie you have to get some

rest tomorrow we have to get up early

where are we

moving ravenrock isn't safe be because

of something you

did it's because of something that I

know but don't you worry about

that I love you sweet girl I love you

mama what did you see

Maya ghosts

is for

[Music]

hey look what I

found this yours

[Music]

we need to go

Maya i' blocked out so much bad

about this place but it's all coming

back now because of you none of us are

safe I need a drink it's okay let

me just get a hold of Caleb it's not

okay Caleb come

in Caleb come in over

yo

Caleb Caleb it's Felix

over base camp this is Felix can you

hear

me you got eyes on Caleb no why here at

base camp alone wait Lut isn't back yet

is Lut still MIA no Lut so now Taylor is

missing that's it I'm finding service

and notifying J Caleb you need to answer

me

now damn it

Kaleb what the hell was that obviously

not

Caleb hello who is

[Music]

this like I said we need to go Maya what

was that

you sent me out here to this backwards

hippy commune so where people who have

no respect to need a

babysitter first the let guy goes

missing and now Caleb's gone I knew this

entire thing would be a show and

now I'm probably going to be mauled by a

be mountain

lion where the am I

[Music]

[Music]

[Music]

we e

[Music]

for

[Music]

[Music]

and why would Caleb be in

here there's a history to this place you

don't know

my mom uncovered it and ended up costing

her her

life I'm sorry what are you talking

about disappearances in the

town one person is responsible for all

of them I'm not following

you the

girl I uh what are you talking about

there was a woman who used to live in

this

town her name was daa

Smallwood and she was anything but

orinary her husband had died

unexpectedly and after that Drea lost

her

mind soon people from all over ravenrock

started

disappearing some were

found

murdered the people in the town

automatically suspected Drea because of

how detached with reality she'd

become come

on my angel or

Hypocrites follow this

woman blindly who pleased to kill me no

you are no better than me

[Music]

brothers and sisters we are gathered

here

today to do the God's will

amen our community has lived in fear for

much too long from this monster who prow

our streets that's right who proud Our

Town that's right and who killed our

children and our loved ones pray on the

defenseless amen this ends here

yes hallelujah what

[Music]

say this ends now may God show you no

more Mercy then you showed your victim

amen amen in this

[Music]

so you're saying all the bad things have

happened in this town is because of a

little girl you think that little girl

is still here because the disappearances

didn't stop once daa was dead that's

exactly what I'm saying it's what my mom

believed that's why I don't think she

killed herself I think she was murdered

for what she

knew and the fire that destroyed this

place I think that was set to cover up

with the people of Raven I did to daa

and my

mom hell no pipe get your boy we're

getting the out of this

town Maya why did you bring us to this

cave Piper I'm not around I'm

not dealing with some Children of the

Corn I'm just this is too heavy

for me sh

Maya this is where my mom believed the

victims were taken there are underground

tunnels all over the town that lead back

to this cave and she was convinced that

little girl Angel lived in

there well I for one vote no on going in

there yeah thank you ra hello this is

the part where we do something we regret

later let's just

not if she was

right everyone who's ever disappeared is

inside including

Caleb no no no God damn it Piper

I don't like this Felix I don't like it

either but we can't just leave her

alone this is

nuts damn

it well not really the religious type

but starting to think giving that

praying thing a try might be worth it

are these the tunnels you're talking

about for

[Music]

[Music]

wait how are we back in the distill

The Distillery was the center of the

town all the tunnels live back here

[Music]

what the is

that keep your guard guys holy

it's like we found all those

missing

people oh god oh Jesus Christ

what

Felix stay over there

Piper what is it I said stay over

[Music]

there

you let me go I said let me go I'm

sorry I'm sorry

[Music]

sorry I'm so

sorry come on let's get her out of here

no come

on come on

[Music]

come

on Piper he's

gone

Piper Piper look at

me look at

me I'm sorry there's nothing we can do

all right he's gone now we have to

go I can't leave this we're not leaving

him here she's right we can't just leave

him there it's not it's not it's not

right what is wrong with you

people the thing that did that she's

going to come back and she's going to do

the same to us do you hear me

[Music]

Piper I'm sorry about your boyfriend but

we need

Caleb his name is Caleb all right fine I

am sorry as hell for what happened to

[Music]

Caleb Vier if you want Justice we got to

move and we got to move

now P she's got a point you got to leave

and come back with the

authorities who the would do this

sick I already told you

God what happens if we run into

her I don't

know but we can't just sit here and wait

for her to show

up Piper come

on come on Piper

sorry

[Music]

kid get

up

[Music]

look Felix I know this is a really

up

situation and I'm

sorry but you got to keep your

together we got to keep moving

[Music]

[Music]

Maria are you in there

[Music]

honey are you in A's

[Music]

room

Maria Mar oh God no

[Music]

Maria B

[Music]

oh my

[Music]

God

I this can't be real we're in the

middle of the goddamn Boonies being

hunted like Animals by some crazy psycho

do you really think that little

girl could have survived all these years

Angel wasn't a typical little girl okay

she's the daughter of Dria Smallwood so

yeah I do think she could would you two

shut up just get to the bridge

okay there's someone on the

road is that is that Selena

Selena

Felix

hurt Selena you okay

go

[Music]

[Music]

go fix no f

[Music]

Rachel come on Felix

[Music]

she's

[Music]

coming I'm so sorry Felix I should have

been there I'm so sorry

I

want I want my

body I'm so

sorry Felix

Felix Felix

no

Felix so

Mr waver I'm so sorry for your

loss he's a little wrecked right

now that's understandable you know any

reason why Mrs Weaver would have taken

her own

life well she hasn't been herself this

past year ever since

well ever since her daughter went

missing sad to see stuff like

this we'll give him some space let's go

you ever lost a child Sheriff

Williams you ever have his pinned every

moment of every day wondering what

happened to

them where they could

be no sir I

haven't but it's a pain you couldn't

possibly understand

understand it's a feeling that no

parent should ever have to

endure so when you sat there and asked

me why my wife took her own

life I'm just trying to do my job

maybe it's the

fact that our child were missing on this

very property and you people did

nothing Mr waver you

and your dumb donut dunking

deputies didn't do a thing even

after we showed you where she

disappeared at you didn't step foot back

into that town you inbred

she didn't deserve this

pull that pistol pull it all

right get out of my house I'm all right

man just lost his wife like get them out

of here

sorry about that sheriff no harm

G

[Music]

yeah so this is the thing that you think

was doing all this the little girl that

did all of

this yeah

I don't care how backwards

freaky you people are no eight y- old

girl survives this for 30

years considering everything that's

happened or not it appeared you're wrong

right so you brought us out here knowing

she might be

here I

didn't I blocked out everything I knew

about this place okay all the bad

that I couldn't handle as a kid it's

back in my head now because you people

wouldn't leave this place

[Music]

Alone look

I said many times that we needed a

leave but no one would listen to

me me right what would the trailer

trash alcoholic oh my God spare me your

stop story Maya you brought us out here

knowing she might be here this is

partially your fault and you this is

mostly your

fault anyone's Expendable for the good

of your story right I get it

R A lot of bad things have gone down

tonight but you need to cool your

now's not the time to turn on each

other I told you this was a bad

idea and now Caleb Felix you're the

reason everyone is dying I said

cool your

don't you get it she's taken a

group of seven down to three the only

thing we need to be focused on right now

is keeping each other alive

[Music]

now is the time to make our move and get

out of this godforsaken

place how are we supposed to do that

without her hearing

us we stay off the roads and in the

shadows do we go to the

bridge she'll be expecting that we'll

have to figure out something

[Music]

else reach yep right anyone

[Music]

ever move as quickly and quietly as

possible got it

[Music]

sir what are you doing there man it's

2:00 a.m. in the

morning the authorities ain't going to

do a goddamn thing Tom for whatever a

reason they

want Ben look let me make you some tea

get you calm down and I don't want any

goddamn tea

Tom that's what I'm drinking

tonight you heard what Lut

said there's a monster out there and I

want the Monster's head that did

this to my

family my wife was

right I haven't done

enough time to change that

we are working with the group from

Millennial and to be honest we should

have said something to the sheriff about

Frank

think about it

Tom my daughter goes

missing my wife turns up

dead then

Frank and Frank was a hardcore bastard

so what do you think's happened to those

soft journalists over in the town I'm

sure the body counts adding up now I

don't care who you are that looks

suspicious and I don't think our

dimwitted sheriff is going to put two to
