[Battle Through The Heaven]

[Episode 5]

[Elders' House]

Here's the token, Headmaster.

I hope you'll forgive us.

Gu Yao, you're selling me out.

This is a very big deal.

For the fear that the Hall of Souls covets the Fallen Heart Flame,

I have to tell you this before you unseal the tower.

Sorry, Miss Hu Jia.

Your clan also knows that we have the Fallen Heart Flame?

The Hall of Souls knows it too, I'm afraid.

Dozens of years ago, I heard the Hall of Souls raged across the Central Plains.

Unexpectedly, such a wicked organization still exists in this world.

They even infiltrated our academy in Jiama Empire.

Headmaster, the two men we fought last night

wore black robes as if they were twins.

What's the strangest was their breathing. Very weird.

Black-fog corrosion may not necessarily be a technique of the Hall of Souls.

Black-mist Corrosion may not necessarily be a technique of the Hall of Souls.

But the stinky and decayed Fighting Energy smelled exactly the same as that in the rumors.

Headmaster, do you know who in Jiama Empire

might collude with the Hall of Souls?

Speaking of that, I do suspect a man.

A dozen years ago, he came to Jiama Empire and settled down in Feng City,

calling himself the Medicine Emperor.

The Gold Silver Brothers beside him were inseparable.

They're like the two men Xiao Xun'er just described.

Medicine Emperor?

That's what he calls himself. His real name is Han Feng.

That's what he calls himself. His real name is Han Feng.

That's it. Fifty years ago, Hun Miesheng, the last chief of the Hall of Souls,

That's it. Fifty years ago, Hun Miesheng, the last chief of the Hall of Souls,

led the organization to rise again and wreak havoc on Zhongzhou,

and started a war.

In the end, he was sealed by the Gu Clan.

As for Han Feng, he was from a decent sect.

But he joined the Hall of Souls.

After the war, he disappeared from the Central Plains.

I didn't expect him to show up in Jiama Empire.

Han Feng, the Medicine Emperor, is a survivor of the Hall of Souls.

Our academy isn't a noble school on the Central Plains.

But I think our seal is solid enough.

And the Medicine Forest is safe when no one can get in without the token.

Grandfather, it was my fault.

- You... - I'm responsible.

I asked Miss Hu Jia for help.

If General Gu hadn't explored the Medicine Forest last night,

we wouldn't know about the Hall of Souls or Han Feng.

He redeemed himself.

General Gu, you could have told us about your plan.

Why did you sneak in?

Were you two in the forest alone?

Elder Hao, what have you found out?

General Gu sneaked into the Medicine Forest

while some lackeys of the Hall of Souls broke into our academy.

Can't you see anything wrong?

Headmaster,

Brother Xiao Yan was also in the Medicine Forest last night. Just to get—

The Fire and Ice Dragon Beard Fruit!

Xiao Yan.

I think he's the mole.

Elder Hao, the Hall of Souls can do weird techniques.

It's unclear whether they know how to break a seal.

Over the last century, our academy has had a great school spirit.

All the elders do their jobs seriously.

All the disciples follow strict discipline.

Xiao Yan is the only exception.

Since he came, he's been disregarding discipline and ignoring rules.

Since he came, he's been disregarding discipline and ignoring rules.

Treating my Jianan Academy as a place to trample on at will.

Elder Hao, this is a very serious accusation.

Do you have firm evidence?

Xiao Yan, tell me. Last night, did you sneak into the Medicine Forest without permission

and steal the Fire and Ice Dragon Beard Fruit?

Did you secretly refine elixirs

and cause a violent vibration of Blazing Sky Qi Refining Tower?

Last night? Last night what?

Yes, I guess.

See, Headmaster? He confessed.

He's the mole colluding with the Hall of Souls

and the black sheep we must get rid of!

Why am I the mole and black sheep?

I just stole a Fire and Ice Dragon Beard Fruit.

Headmaster!

Brother Xiao Yan had no choice but to steal it to save his brother.

I arranged everything to steal the token.

Punish me if necessary.

It's so silly of you!

Xiao Xun'er, he used you.

Why do you think he sneaked into the Medicine Forest?

It's my fault to steal the fruit.

I'm sorry and I'm ready for punishment. But my older brother is dying.

To make the Firmament Longevity Pill, I had to steal the fruit.

Headmaster, if you understood the whole process, you would understand.

You're still lying?

I'm asking you. You're merely a student, a Fighting Spirit,

and you're not an alchemist.

Firmament Longevity Pill, Grade 6 elixir.

Even throughout the Inner Academy, only a few elders can make it.

Tell me. How did you make it?

Just tell me.

Old man Yao, what do I do?

Old man Yao.

Old man Yao!

Let me see what you can say.

I have a clear conscience.

I made the pill just to save my brother.

- You... - Headmaster...

- All right. - He...

Colluding with the Hall of Souls is a serious accusation.

Before we figure out the whole truth,

we can't blame Xiao Yan for everything.

But...

stealing the Fire and Ice Dragon Beard Fruit

and secretly refining the Firmament Longevity Pill is understandable.

But you went against school rules

and nearly damaged the seal of the Blazing Sky Qi Refining Tower.

You deserve to be punished.

Xiao Yan, you are deprived of the right to enter the tower

and imprisoned to reflect on your past mistakes.

Tell me.

How did you collude with the Gold Silver Brothers?

And what's your relationship with Han Feng of the Hall of Souls?

Where are you?

You...

Elder Hao, I don't know what you're talking about.

Don't play dumb with me.

You did the whole scene,

pretending to steal the fruit for your brother,

just to cover for how you got the Gold Silver Brothers into the forest.

Elder Hao, I'm not the mole.

Don't waste your time on me.

If you insist, you should catch the real mole.

You're the mole in my eyes.

Let me tell you something.

All the tokens have been replaced.

Whatever you're up to, as long as you're grounded here,

the Hall of Souls can't get what they want.

- Elder Hao... - I...

Elder Hao...

Old man Yao. Old man Yao?

Brother Xiao Yan, time for lunch.

How did you get in?

Gu Yao invited Elder Hao to lunch.

- Here. - Oh, my favorite food.

I know.

You must be hungry, huh?

Xun'er,

do you remember the first night when I came to Jianan Academy?

Blazing Sky Qi Refining Tower?

I came here just for the Fallen Heart Flame in it.

So, Xiao Yan, you don't want to get into the tower for body refinement,

but for the Fallen Heart Flame?

Exactly.

I'm here to conquer the Heavenly Flame and go to Misty Cloud Sect.

Now, my father has been caught.

I can't sit here doing nothing.

I get it. I'm also from the Xiao Family.

I will help you to save your father and your family.

- You... - You'll get burned.

This is the best beast flame

I can buy spending all my fire energy cards.

Compared to the Heavenly Flames, it has little energy and violence.

If I can't even conquer this,

how can I conquer the Fallen Heart Flame tomorrow?

You want to conquer that?

I can't break the school rules to get Xiao Yan out from his inprisonment.

But at least, I can do what he wants to do.

You refuse to go back to the Gu Clan, and Xiao Yan is the real reason.

Old man Yao, why didn't you reply just now?

I had a disciple.

When he was 15, he could make Grade 3 elixir with beast flames.

When he was 20, he became a Grade 6 alchemist.

He had a gift for medicinal materials...

and pure Fighting Energy of fire.

So, without the Heavenly Flames,

he could also make perfect pills.

You had a disciple?

How come I didn't know?

When a man becomes greedy,

he will not be at ease.

Always holding on to a bit of luck,

thinking that he can challenge destiny.

You mean your disciple?

Where's he, then?

I reminded you.

The most horrible trick of the Hall of Souls is that it can trigger greediness.

Your disciple and the Hall of Souls...

Those men must have come here for the Heavenly Flames.

The Fallen Heart Flame is mine.

No one can take it away.

Get some good rest.

I'm afraid there will be a big battle tomorrow.

Elder Hao, aren't you going to unseal the tower?

You wish.

If I went there, who would guard you?

Elder Hao.

Elder, the elixirs you asked for.

Go to Blazing Sky Qi Refining Tower

and deliver them to the headmaster.

This year, the situation is tough with internal and external problems.

Ask the elders to take the elixirs for some improvements.

I'll guard here until the last minute.

What elixir is it?

It helps to enhance Fighting Energy

and solidify the seal of the tower.

If your accomplices really come,

they won't end up well.

Elder Hao,

I can't get out and you don't want to leave.

Why don't we talk?

About the Blazing Sky Qi Refining Tower.

The Blazing Sky Qi Refining Tower?

Yeah.

I heard that Jianan Academy was founded after it,

what makes it so great then?

I'm really not afraid to tell you.

There is really a treasure inside the Burning Qi Refining Tower today.

Once a Fighting Practitioner practices in it

and refines his body with the treasure,

he can improve by one star at least and one level at most.

He's even likely

to turn from a Fighting King into a Fighting Emperor.

What treasure is in it?

It...

It will never behave in a sneaky way like you do.

Don't play tricks with me.

Fine.

Sorry, then.

Xiao Yan, what are you doing?

I have to get out of here!

Zi Yan?

What are you doing here?

I was stealing some food in Hao's warehouse

when I saw the record in his diary that you stole a Fire and Ice Dragon Beard Fruit.

He was going too far. Just a Fire and Ice Dragon Beard Fruit.

Did he need to be so stingy?

And I gave you that fruit. I should come and get you out.

Back off.

You're not going?

You're No.1 on the ranking. Don't you want to go?

You go alone.

I hit him too hard just now.

Go feel the power of that colorless flame.

Rather powerful.

All right.

Top 10 on the strong list, enter the tower.

It's such a big event.

Why was I not invited?

You can't break into our academy as you wish.

Nor can you break into the tower casually.

An ordinary man like me doesn't dare to break in.

But entrusted by the Hall of Souls, I had to come.

I didn't expect to see

a hatchet man of the Hall of Souls in Jiama Empire.

The reason why the Blazing Sky Qi Refining Tower can serve as the treasure of Jianan Academy

is to strengthen the muscles and body of the winners of the strong ranking competition.

It's because it has the Fallen Heart Flame, the No.14 flame on the Heavenly Flames Ranking.

It's because it has the Fallen Heart Flame, the No.14 flame on the Heavenly Flames Ranking.

Am I right?

The Fallen Heart Flame should belong to the Hall of Souls.

If you are sensible, then obediently hand it over to me.

Otherwise, today,

I can make your whole empire disappear from the world.

That's some tough talk.

You think you can do anything

just with the support of the Hall of Souls?

Our academy has been in this empire for a century.

It's as good as people say it is.

What power do you have?

Bring it on!

If you say so, Headmaster, then don't blame me for being rude.

Form the seal. Protect the tower.

That can't be right.

We took the elixirs to enhance our Fighting Energy.

The elixirs can really work.

There's fun to see.

Han Feng!

Last night, you poisoned the elixirs for the elders.

Bai Shan? It's you.

No. He forced me. He lied to me.

He gave me the Purple Heart Barrier Breaking Pill.

Since then, he's been threatening me to work for him.

He said he could help me regain my Fighting Energy.

- That's why I... - You...

It's so silly of you!

He took advantage of your competitiveness, made you take an illegal elixir,

He took advantage of your competitiveness, made you take an illegal elixir,

and lose your Fighting Energy in the competition!

I defended you and covered it up!

But you made another mistake!

I shouldn't have let you get away!

I was wrong, Elder.

I'm sorry.

Elders and disciples, please take your time communicating.

I have business to attend to.

The lackeys of the Hall of Souls should stop being so arrogant.

Black Submerged Army of the Gu Clan?

Want to get the Heavenly Flame? Never!

You also want it?

Xun'er, take our classmates away.

I'll take care of this.

Old man Yao, Han Feng also has a Heavenly Flame.

That's just a subsidiary flame.

Sea Heart Flame.

No.15 on the Heavenly Flames Ranking.

It can explode the Fallen Heart Flame.

Unless you want to die here and now,

give the Fallen Heart Flame to me.

Have I made myself clear enough?

You just have a subsidiary flame.

Don't think only you have one.

A young man like you has conquered a Heavenly Flame?

We can't lose the Fallen Heart Flame.

Use Fighting Energy to reactivate the seal.

No.19 on the Heavenly Flames Ranking,

Green Lotus Core Flame.

Within a day, I witnessed two Heavenly Flames.

Good.

Today, I'll get them both.

Baji Collapse!

Xun'er, are you all right?

Yes.

If you came later, I would have been hurt.

I owe you a favor.

How can I let anything happen to you?

Different flames have strengths and weaknesses.

Your Green Lotus Core Flame is only ranked 19th.

Mine ranks 15th and it's stronger

even if it's a subsidiary flame.

What's worse, you're a mere Fighting Spirit.

Your understanding of flames is still too shallow.

Evil disciple, do you still dare to come to see me?

It... It can't be true.

It can't be.

Old man Yao, you can't come out.

Yeah.

You should have poisoned me to death, huh?

Throughout the Douqi Continent,

no one has ever heard from you.

I thought you were already broken into pieces.

So...

So you've been hiding in the Storage Ring.

Old man Yao, he's Han Feng who killed you. Right?

He... He...

Xiao Yan, why was the Medicine Sage hiding in your Storage Ring?

The Medicine Sage of the Central Plains.

People used to say the Medicine Sage was killed by the Hall of Souls.

Unexpectedly, the murderer turned out to be his own disciple!

Deceiving the master and destroying the ancestor.

I never thought there could be such vicious people in the world.

Master Yao,

Disciple Han Feng

is late in greeting you.

Master.

[Yao Chen, Master of Starfall Hall] Look at yourself.

You've gone crazy.

[Han Feng, Disciple of Starfall Hall] Yes, Master, I have gone crazy.

I beg you. Teach me Flame Mantra.

I've followed you for six years.

I've learned every technique in Fighting Technique Hall.

I kept practicing them day and night.

No other disciples learned as hard as me.

I just want to experience the most powerful technique.

Even if I fail and get burned to death,

I won't regret it.

Han Feng, do you still not know what you've done wrong?

On Douqi Continent, the strongest men are respected.

I want to grow stronger, and what is the problem?

If I'm wrong, the whole world will be wrong.

On my command.

Han Feng peeped at technique books and disobeyed rules.

He'll be escorted to Heavenly Star Mountain for introspection.

Without my permission, he can't leave there!

Han Feng,

that year you failed to get Flame Mantra.

I expelled you and you joined the Hall of Souls.

When I was making a breakthrough, you added poison to my alchemy furnace

forcing me to fall off a cliff and narrowly escape death.

What qualifications do you have to kneel in front of me now?

Master...

You-You're really...

not as powerful as before.

Old man Yao, go back to the ring.

Otherwise, you...

After all these years,

you still don't have a long memory.

I paid back Master with your three moves.

Now I have nothing...

to do with you anymore.

What I owe you, has been returned.

What you owe me...

Give it to me!

Han Feng,

how much ecstasy soup did the Soul Palace feed you

to make you so desperate?

I used to think...

I used to think as long as I kept tolerating,

you would finally teach me Flame Mantra.

But I was wrong.

As long as you're here for a day, you won't let me get ahead!

Yao Chen, tell me.

What else can I do besides killing you?

You betrayed your sect and joined the Hall of Souls.

Now, you still work for them, trying to snatch the Fallen Heart Flame.

Now, you still work for them, trying to snatch the Fallen Heart Flame.

Fine.

I'll deal with you again today.

Burn the heavens and devour the earth!

How could you pass on Flame Mantra to this young boy?

The Fallen Heart Flame is out of control.

Seal!

Old man Yao.

After I get the Fallen Heart Flame, I'll get back to you.

Han Feng, don’t even think about it!

Use the Heavenly Flame.

Old man Yao, you're exhausted. You can't use that anymore.

Use it!

Your master in the Hall of Souls only gave you a subsidiary flame.

It's not the real Sea Heart Flame.

Let go of her!

Xiao Yan, it turns out your weakness

is this girl.

Are you ordering me?

Han Feng, don't harm innocent people.

You want the Flame Mantra? Take it.

Let go of her!

I can let go of her.

However, you have to kill your master in front of me first.
