[Battle Through The Heaven]

[Episode 20]

Doesn't this place feel a bit familiar to you?

Have we been here?

In those years when you lost Fighting Energy,

you always used to go to the back hills of the Xiao Family alone

and practice very hard.

Xun'er, were you peeping at me?

Yeah. I was looking at you secretly nearby.

But with no Fighting Energy at all, you couldn't feel my existence.

You didn't realize how fun it was to see you sulk.

Yeah.

I almost gave up at that time.

But you overcame the obstacle, didn't you?

Nothing can be achieved overnight.

Be it your practice,

or the saving of the Medicine Sage,

everything will fall into place when the right time comes.

Xun'er, thank you.

So much firewood.

After such a long trip, we should be near the destination.

Let's have a rest here tonight. We can continue tomorrow morning.

Brother Xiao Yan, tell me a story.

I don't know stories.

A long time has passed since our last reunion.

You've made many new friends

and visited places I've never been to.

I want to hear every detail of the story.

That would be a long story.

Excellent. The longer, the better.

It's the best if the story never ends.

All right. Let me think.

Then let me start the story with Demon Flame Valley.

Okay.

Demon Flame Valley is a desolate place where nothing grows.

When I arrived...

The moment I arrived,

When I first went there, I met the mercenary group Gu Yao mentioned.

But no single person could be seen there. Isn't it strange?

No people?

Anyway, I thought it was strange.

Later... Later...

How time flies.

We grow up in a blink.

When we were young,

we were forced by your dad to practice Fighting Techniques

and do homework.

I was always thinking why a day was so long

and when I would become an adult.

But I firmly believed we could live together like that forever,

as if we were in an endless story,

as if unlimited time was available to you and me for us to enjoy.

Why did everything change in the blink of an eye?

You're shouldering heavy responsibility. You need to travel around,

while I have to come back to the Gu Clan.

Since when did we start to get together less and stay apart more?

and see each other more often?

Your dad is deceased now.

Let's go!

Brother Xiao Yan, what's going on?

Their weapons are weird. Let's just get rid of them.

They don't seem to have Fighting Energy.

They can't withstand it.

Xun'er.

Xun'er.

Brother Xiao Yan.

Here.

Where are we?

I have no idea.

Xun'er, your wound has been dressed.

So has yours.

Give me your hand.

Your Fighting Energy has become weak. It seems the arrow is poisonous.

Can you activate your Fighting Energy?

No, I can't.

Blocked meridians inhibit my Fighting Energy.

Xiao Yan, why are yours still active?

I've got Heavenly Flames. The invading poison is burned out.

Could you help me remove the poison with your flames?

No, if you don’t have fighting energy protection in your body,

once the flames enter, they will definitely hurt you.

Here you are.

Take the medicine, and your injuries will be fine.

But you can't use Fighting Energy within three days.

It's too much.

Drink.

Let's drink it.

You brought us here for no reason and made no explanations.

What's the meaning of this?

[Tang Huo'er, chief of Black Flame Village] You shouldn't have barged into our village.

My sister and I are medicine merchants from the Central Plains.

We were going to Burning Flame Valley for business.

But we got lost and stayed here for a night.

We were then caught by your people.

You're lying.

Believe it or not.

My villagers came here for refuge

when Soul Heaven Emperor stirred up turmoil in the Central Plains a thousand years ago.

We live on blacksmithing activities.

Occasionally, we trade for everyday items with the Master of Burning Flame Valley.

We never communicate with the Central Plains.

As you're merchants from the Central Plains,

you should know well the path to Burning Flame Valley.

How come you trespass on this deserted land unintentionally?

We mean no harm.

We are ordinary merchants.

Please let us go.

Let you go?

Yeah.

Now, you know the location of this village.

You're likely to bring other outsiders here.

That would destroy our peaceful life.

Stay here with us forever,

or prepare to die now.

Don't you dare hurt my sister.

No matter what it takes,

I must seek revenge in that case.

You have no choice but to stay.

According to our rules,

no work, no food.

Change your clothes.

From now on, you should learn blacksmithing skills,

and she should learn to mend and make clothes.

You do your job, and she does hers.

Give it to them.

Is this meteoric iron?

Yeah, good eye.

The best meteoric iron in the Central Plains.

Master said the Heavy Black Ruler is made of it.

Could it have come from this place?

But it's refined only by Heavenly Flames.

If that's the case...

The furnace fire is indeed unusual.

Brother, let's drink at my home tonight.

No problem.

Xiao Yan, did you earn these with your work?

Here you are. Have some more.

Why are you so impressive?

By the way, Xun'er,

I noticed the fire they use is unusual when I was forging irons today.

I guess they're afraid if other people know about the fire,

their lives might be disrupted.

"Black Flame" should be its name.

And Three Mysterious Transformations of Heavenly Flame requires this flame to activate it.

At present, I still don't know the relationship between the two.

But Three Mysterious Transformations of Heavenly Flame

should be in this village.

In the following days, we can explore the village carefully.

Maybe we can find some clues.

It's really disturbing.

This is the first time I see you in a mess.

Xun'er, I'm always by your side.

He's here. He's here.

Here they come.

Here, here.

This is...

What do you need us for?

In Black Flame Village, we will throw a ceremony when new members come.

In Black Flame Village, we will throw a ceremony when new members come.

- Follow us. - Let's go.

Where are you taking her?

At such an exciting moment, she should be well-combed and dressed.

Look!

She's beautiful.

She looks good in that dress.

The Black Flame has erupted!

You go and count the people immediately. Protect them.

- Chief. - Don't go out.

What's Black Flame? What's going on here?

This is Black Flame.

Every year, Black Flame erupts from the cave at the back of the village.

It erupts irregularly.

The fire you use for iron-forging comes from the cave.

Is it a Heavenly Flame?

Who on earth are you? What is the purpose of coming to our Black Flame Village? Answer me.

Chief, one of our children is missing.

He must have been trapped in the cave when collecting firewood.

Take me to the cave. I can save him.

Hurry up!

- Watch out. - Mom.

What's the flame called?

You have to tell me to save him.

- Volcano Rock Flame. - Volcano Rock Flame?

The 17th-ranked flame on the Heavenly Flames Ranking.

It's different from other flames.

You stay here. I'll get him.

Brother Xiao Yan, your Fighting Energy.

Don't worry.

Little boy, don't cry.

Let me bring you out now. All right?

So, it's just a subsidiary flame.

The core is not here.

It's okay. Everything's over.

You're safe.

The stone's hot. Be careful.

Are you okay?

- Yeah. - Are you all right?

- I'm okay. - Get him out of here.

Take the belongings.

- Okay. - Easy, easy. Let's go.

Chief, is that stone always there?

It's always there.

Let's go have a closer look.

Xiao Clan Pattern?

[Three Mysterious Transformations of Heavenly Flame]

Three Mysterious Transformations of Heavenly Flame!

How is he?

He's just in shock, not hurt by the Flame Poison.

When he wakes up, apply the prescribed medicine to him.

You can leave now.

- Here you are. - Thanks.

Sit down, please.

You saved our people and were kind to us.

Just say what you want.

Chief, I'm Xiao Yan,

a disciple of the Medicine Sage, Master of Starfall Hall in the Central Plains.

I'm also a descendant of the Xiao Clan.

I'm here to take back the possession of the Xiao Clan.

Xiao Clan?

Are you really from the Xiao Clan?

This is the evidence.

I knew there were descendants of the Xiao Clan.

How are you related to the Xiao Clan?

We were a small clan in Burning Flame Valley

and worked as blacksmiths for generations.

A thousand years ago, the Central Plains plunged into havoc.

We were unable to protect ourselves.

Many of our people were killed by the Hall of Souls.

It was Senior Xiao Xuan

and the heroes of the Xiao Clan who saved us when they passed by.

They left the tinder of Volcano Rock Flame inside that cave.

From then on, when the subsidiary flame is dormant,

we have been collecting the tinder of the subsidiary flame from that cave

to make meteoric iron weapons.

The reason he left the Volcano Rock Flame here

was to protect what I was looking for.

It should be returned to its owner.

Thanks.

By the way,

this is the subsidiary Volcano Rock Flame.

It won't erupt anymore.

You can put it into the furnace used for forging weapons.

Where there is tinder, there is the subsidiary flame.

We were saved by the Xiao people many times.

We can never repay you enough.

No, don't say that.

You have been here for generations.

You have virtually protected our secrecy.

I should feel grateful to you.

A farewell is always unavoidable.

Chief, please rest assured.

We'll keep our mouths shut after leaving this village.

We won't tell any people about it.

People of the Xiao Clan have moral ethics.

I trust you.

Let's say goodbye here.

Let's go.

Brother Xiao Yan, what's wrong?

I'm wondering in the vast land of the Central Plains,

could people like Tang Huo'er,

who prefer simple lives over Fighting Energy,

really be able to live in peace?

Some flowers grow in freedom.

They need to blossom in a world only known to themselves.

But, so long as the Hall of Souls exists,

so long as Fighting Practitioners covet strength,

potential turmoil will always hang over Douqi Continent.

These relaxed flowers have to seek refuge in a remote place.

A truly strong person should bring peace back to all.

This is the true meaning of being strong.

Let's go.

Did you only find the first transformation of the Three Mysterious Transformations of Heavenly Flame based on the map?

Yes. This is the only one in Black Flame Village.

It's said Xiao Xuan died in the Heavenly Tomb.

It's possible more clues can be found there.

But... things have changed.

The Heavenly Tomb became a secret.

Heavenly Tomb?

The Gu Clan and Xiao Clan are said to have a deep connection.

As the Clan Lady of the Gu Clan, have you ever heard of the second volume?

I was once ordered to guard our altar.

Our people said the altar

was set to mourn ancestors of the Xiao Clan who died in fights.

Could this altar be the Heavenly Tomb you're talking about?

If Mr. Xiao Xuan did pass away there,

I'm sure I'll find clues about Three Mysterious Transformations of Heavenly Flame.

Whether the second volume is found or not,

Xiao Yan, before the Pill Meeting is held, you must achieve the first transformation.

Okay.

If you have no bloodline of the Xiao Clan,

you may hurt your meridians.

I'm lucky. I will withstand it.

The secret method of the Xiao Clan may mobilize the Fighting Energy of the meridians throughout your body.

To help you warm and nourish your meridians,

I will use the power of the Yang Flame Ancient Altar.

Open the scroll.

Expand the Eight Extraordinary Meridians.

Start with the Thoroughfare Vessel and end with the Yangwei Vessel.

The clan pattern on his forehead best validates his bloodline.

Now have a try.

Mobilize the flames with Three Mysterious Transformations of Heavenly Flame, instead of the Flame Mantra.

Green Lotus Change.

Back.

Another man from the Xiao Clan

is about to fight Hall of Souls with Heavenly Flames.

All the Pill Mantras you need are here.

Si Zhu, go back and have a rest. I can handle it myself.

Please help me take the rest of the mantras here.

Okay.

[Xiao Yan]

[Xiao Yan]

[Fighting Technique Hall]

Xiao Yan has achieved the first transformation of the Three Mysterious Transformations of Heavenly Flame.

The Pill Meeting is approaching as well.

During this trip, you must take in the Heavenly Flames

and keep an eye on Mu Gu.

- Qingluan. - Your disciple is here.

Keep Xiao Yan company and attend the Pill Meeting together.

Yes.

Wind Sage, I can also be their team member.

Little Fairy Doctor,

this trip will be difficult and unpredictable.

It's better to stay at Starfall Hall.

I won't slow you down. I'm capable.

I agree with her.

In terms of refining pills, isn't it better to have her around?

Besides, you once said

good friends should sink or swim together.

Isn't she one of your friends?

I vote for her to join us.

I had a word when saving you that I don't save outsiders.

By now,

you've been reborn in the Yang Flame Ancient Altar.

Shouldn't you respond to what I said?

Sister, bow to your master now.

- Hurry up. - Hurry up.

All hail Master...

Skip this red tape.

The reason I accept you is exactly because of what I said.

Starfall Hall doesn't save outsiders.

Think it through.

We are different from other factions.

I accept you as a disciple, but you practice by yourself.

What you can achieve is up to you.

Besides other rules, there is one must.

Once you join Starfall Hall, you must not follow other factions.

I'm willing to join Starfall Hall.

It's already enough for me to be accepted as your disciple.

Good.

You can go to the Pill Meeting together with Mu Qingluan

to assist Xiao Yan. Remember to take care of each other.

As you command.
