[Battle Through The Heaven]

[Episode 2]

Fighting Spirit?

In just a few days, he became the first to break through to the Fighting Spirit.

Bai Shan's Fighting Energy is floating. He clearly broke through the Fighting Spirit by relying on external force.

He should have used a pill, and this pill seems a bit unusual.

Purple Heart Barrier-Breaking Pill?

It's a peak tier 4 pill that can greatly enhance people's strength.

This is a forbidden pill for Fighting Grandmasters.

If those below Fighting King's level take it, it will cause great self-harm,

even if it helps them win, the speed of their future advancement will be affected.

Once defeated, there is a possibility of having their Fighting Energy disabled.

Where did he get this from?

I don't know if his Fighting Energy will be disabled, but if this continues,

a Fighting Grandmaster can never defeat a Fighting Spirit.

If I'm eliminated, I won't be able to enter the tower.

Use the Green Lotus Core Flame, and he'll lose immediately.

The Heavenly Flame is too powerful, once used, there will be casualties among the students.

I can't use it.

Then you can also take the Purple Heart-Barrier Breaking Pill. How about that?

Old man Yao, did you just say...

You rat.

Admit defeat publicly, and that your skills are inferior,

then I can let you go.

You think only you have the Purple Heart Barrier-Breaking Pill?

Didn't see that coming, huh?

How dare you take a forbidden pill!

I did this to teach you a lesson about not being presumptuous.

You don't deserve to stand here.

No way.

Before, I begged you and you didn't have this power.

Now, in this critical moment, you want to break through?

Xiao Yan must have reached the breakthrough timing

when he was performing a fearless and thorough close combat attack.

Now the Fighting Energy in his body

is naturally transitioning, breaking through to the Fighting Spirit.

This match is interesting. Fighting Spirit against Fighting Spirit.

Bai Shan, quickly finish it.

You're a teacher. Calm down.

Don't play tricks with me. I don't buy it.

Bai Shan!

Xiao Yan is breaking through. He has no resistance capabilities now.

For the fairness of the match, you should wait until he completes it before fighting him.

He's just pretending.

Can't you see through this?

Xiao Yan, are you going to hide behind a girl forever?

Bai Shan, right now, fighting him is taking advantage of his weakness!

Don't make me lose respect for you.

I must see who's stronger today!

Xiao Yan!

Stand up if you are a man!

You still want to fight? Okay, I'll fight you.

I won't hurt you,

but I have to kick that guy out today.

You can try.

Bai Shan, stop it!

Bai Shan, how dare you hurt Xun'er!

Bai Shan!

It's impossible.

Xiao Yan, you broke through to the Fighting Spirit?

Xun'er, leave the rest to me.

The breakthrough actually brought changes to the Heavy Black Ruler.

Dignity is earned, shame is self-inflicted.

- Xun'er. - Brother Xiao Yan.

Brother Xiao Yan!

Old man Yao, why did I faint?

What do you think? Breaking through with pills?

You shouldn't be that impatient.

Pill?

Purple Heart Barrier-Breaking Pill?

Be careful. That might backfire.

But it is here.

Old man Yao, you see, I broke through to the Fighting Spirit.

Consider it your luck.

Bai Shan's strong attack stimulated you,

allowing you to break through from the peak of Fighting Grandmaster

to advance to the Fighting Spirit in the middle of the battle.

- The smell is awful. - Eat it.

Take it.

Didn't you forbid me from taking pills randomly?

Give it back then.

Old man Yao, what pill did you just give me?

This is a tier-5 Yuan Recovery Pill that I refined for you,

considering that you didn't take the Purple Heart Barrier-Breaking Pill.

- Tier-5? - Tier-5!

It's for conditioning the unstable Fighting Energy

in your body that just broke through into Fighting Spirit.

It's to show sympathy for the injuries you suffered.

This tier-5 Yuan Recovery Pill will do you so much good.

You are a lucky boy.

Old man Yao, what if I had taken the Purple Heart Barrier-Breaking Pill?

That would be another matter entirely.

If you tried to take the shortcut, I wouldn't let you off lightly.

Of course, I'll follow your instructions.

The Purple Heart Barrier-Breaking Pill Bai Shan took

has a familiar aura.

Where did it come from?

What aura?

Don't ask what you shouldn't ask.

Take your time to recover.

There is someone waiting for you outside.

Brother Xiao Yan, you're finally awake. How are you now?

You've slept for a whole day and night.

You stayed with me for a whole day and night?

How could I leave you here alone?

On the trial grounds, you just collapsed on me without saying anything.

I was so scared.

- How are you now? - I'm fine.

Fool, I was just too tired.

Look! There are no injuries or pain on me now.

By the way, how is Bai Shan doing?

Bai Shan was disqualified after being knocked out of the trial grounds.

And he can't enter the tower to forge his body.

I heard that he is refusing to see anybody since the fight.

Actually, if he wasn't so aggressive, he could have advanced with us.

Now, his wishes have all been dashed.

It may take him some time to accept it.

Give him a little more time.

As long as he's physically fine, he can always practice.

You are awake?

Hurry up and go to receive your rewards.

- Headmaster is waiting. - Rewards?

Xun'er, let's go together.

We've received ours. You go ahead.

You've received yours? Why didn't you tell me earlier?

I forgot. Don't run.

You passed the elimination round

and obtained the qualification to enter the Fighting Technique Hall.

Inside the Fighting Technique Hall, there are scrolls of Qi Methods and Fighting Techniques,

protected by different energy shields.

You need to break through these shields with your own abilities.

However, be careful.

The higher the level of the Fighting Techniques,

the more dangerous the counterforce of the energy shields.

If you can't break through,

you might return empty-handed.

Have they all obtained the Fighting Techniques they wanted?

More than half of them returned empty-handed.

Doing according to your abilities is a principle that many people don't understand nowadays.

How much time do I have?

The gate will close upon sunset.

Whether you get what you want or not,

you must leave from here on time.

Sunset?

Why didn't you tell me earlier?

Old man Yao,

what kind of Fighting Technique should I choose?

You already have the Flame Mantra as your Qi Method.

This time, you just need to choose a Fighting Technique suitable for fire attributes.

I want a Fighting Technique that is most suitable for my current cultivation,

one that can give me an advantage in the Grand Competition.

Walk forward.

Walk forward?

On your left.

[Purple Thunder Seal]

Purple Thunder Seal?

It complements the flaws of your Heavy Black Ruler and Baji Collapse, which lack agility.

However, it might be a bit hard for you to practice it now.

I'm not afraid of difficulties.

As long as it works.

Purple Thunder Seal.

Although it's a Fighting Technique of fire attributes, it shouldn't be like this.

I like the challenge.

Why are you here?

I came specifically to lend you a hand.

Sonic Fighting Technique, Lion and Tiger Shattering Gold.

This is a genuine advanced Fighting Technique.

- It's amazing! - Sonic Fighting Technique?

I don't want a Sonic Fighting Technique.

I know you want the Purple Thunder Seal,

but that Fighting Technique is more suitable for you.

It has recognized you, and you've lifted its seal.

It has been sealed here for decades

without anyone seeking it. How lonely.

If you master the Lion and Tiger Shattering Gold,

there will be a roar of lions and tigers, making all beasts submit,

with the overwhelming power of shattered gold.

Then why hasn't anyone sought it for decades?

Because no one can master it.

Hu Jia!

Sonic Fighting Technique, Lion and Tiger Shattering Gold.

I didn't want the Sonic Fighting Technique.

Hu Jia is quite clever.

She targeted the most sensitive spot.

Whose side are you on?

What she said is the truth.

That's right though.

Lion and Tiger Shattering Gold is an advanced Fighting Technique after all.

For decades, no one has seen it.

Therefore, everyone doesn't know how to deal with it.

If you can master it,

you might shine in the Strong Ranking Grand Competition.

I can shine with it?

Brother Xiao Yan, keep practicing. I'll get you a cup of tea.

I can shine with it?

Xun'er said something right.

For decades, no one has seen it,

so no one knows how to deal with it.

The situation might not be so unfavorable.

A person's success is not because fate has prepared

everything perfectly and presented it to him.

It's about turning all the good and bad encounters into favorable conditions.

You need to learn not only Fighting Techniques but also wisdom.

It sounds reasonable,

but why do I feel like you're deceiving me?

Are you going to give up?

No.

Your Highness.

[She Cailin, Queen of Serpent Kingdom] Do you remember our agreement?

I... I... I...

Where is my Thawing Spirit Pills?

Look. With all the troubles of escaping and enrolling,

I haven't even prepared the herbs.

I'll do it after I finish the Grand Competition.

Why don't you return to the body of the Heaven Swallowing Python first?

I'll take you back.

It seems you haven't taken this matter to heart.

In that case, what's the use of me keeping you?

Is this the legendary space solidification?

Space solidification?

Queen She Cailin is truly amazing.

However, how could I let you kill my person so easily?

Old man Yao, you're still awake.

Bring her in.

Old man Yao, why didn't you save me earlier?

I've long sensed that there's someone powerful hiding around this brat.

We finally meet today.

It turns out you're a Fighting Ancestor.

No. You're stronger than that.

You don't need to know who I am.

Xiao Yan didn't violate the agreement on purpose.

It's just that when you were asleep,

too many accidents happened.

This is the world in the Storage Ring.

It's dull without water or flowers.

It's boring here.

How can you stand staying here?

You, little snake, are low in cultivation,

only interested in the secular world.

How can you understand the beauty of clarity?

Clarity?

I think it's barrenness.

It's said that the Storage Ring is conjured by the spiritual world.

Is your spiritual world so boring and barren?

I think you have a big misunderstanding of the beauty of clarity.

All right. Old man Yao. Queen.

It's all because of me.

Don't be mad because of me.

In the Serpent Kingdom,

the scenery of a farmer's garden

is better than the scenery in the Storage Ring.

Summer insects cannot speak of ice.

The Misty Cloud Sect sent disciples to chase after Xiao Yan.

If it weren't for your selfish intention

of having Xiao Yan make the Thawing Spirit Pill for you

to break through to Fighting Ancestor,

you wouldn't have come out to scare off the Misty Cloud Sect's disciples

and made an agreement with him.

You knew Xiao Yan was being pursued by the Misty Cloud Sect

and had no time to make pills for you, and yet you bite him.

Little snake,

trying to be clever may lead to self-destruction.

You...

Give me the formula for the Thawing Spirit Pill.

Xiao Yan went to great lengths

to obtain it at the Alchemist's Grand Meeting.

How can we give it to you?

But if you can let go of your murderous intent,

I can promise to present

the Thawing Spirit Pillbefore you within a year.

However, as an exchange,

you must ensure Xiao Yan's safety within this year.

What do you think?

Old man Yao.

Who are you to Xiao Yan? His teacher?

I've never formally taken Xiao Yan as my disciple.

Then it's a business between Xiao Yan and me.

Why should I make a new agreement with you?

Then you should go to someone else.

Fine.

Let's do it as you say.

If you make the Thawing Spirit Pill within a year,

I'll ensure his safety for a year.

However,

I have other conditions.

Go ahead.

Within this year, apart from the Thawing Spirit Pill,

if Xiao Yan obtains any other pills,

he must share them with me.

Why?

Okay.

If he obtains any Fighting Technique Heavenly Flame,

he'll have to let me use it for my advancement.

- Why should I... - It's reasonable.

Within a year, help me break through to Fighting Venerate.

You're going too far.

You haven't broken through to Fighting Ancestor yet,

and you want to break through to Fighting Venerate within a year?

How much effort will it take Xiao Yan?

I have other things for him to do.

Have you asked for my opinion?

- Go away! - Go away!

Fine.

Just the first two conditions and the Thawing Spirit Pill.

That would be the best.

However, I hope you won't harbor murderous intent like last time.

Otherwise, at the risk of falling into a deep sleep,

I'll still burn your body that you went to great lengths to evolve.

Do I have a say in my own matters?

Xun'er!

This is the best throat-protecting elixir.

I managed to get it from Grandpa.

Here.

Brother Xiao Yan's voice depends on you.

Xiao Yan, Xiao Yan. It's Xiao Yan again.

Why are you yelling in broad daylight?

You've disturbed my good dream.

Xiao Yan.

Xun'er, let me explain.

Xun'er!

Ice Spirit Throat Protecting Liquid.

Ice Spirit Throat Protecting Liquid is made from Ice Spirit Leaf, Three Flower Grass,

and a Water-Type Monster Core.

It can relieve all kinds of burning

and protect the throat from sudden energy attacks.

Such precise treatment must have taken that girl a lot of effort.

No, no, no.

It's comfortable.

After drinking it, as long as you can endure it mentally,

no matter how long you yell, you won't turn into a mute.

As for whether you can get the hang of it, that's a different thing.

Stop hitting it.

Stop hitting it.

Where's your Fighting Energy?

- Say it! - Didn't you see it that day?

Xiao Yan destroyed my Fighting Energy.

It's all because of him!

Take me to Headmaster.

I want to hold Xiao Yan accountable.

How did you suddenly break through to Fighting Spirit that day?

My Fighting Energy surged suddenly that morning,

so I broke through...

Are you still not telling me the truth?

What kind of medicine did you take?

Was it the Purple Heart Barrier-Breaking Pill?

Xiao Yan hit you hard that day,

but it was far from being able to destroy your Fighting Energy.

If you want to hold Xiao Yan accountable,

you'll be held accountable first for using a forbidden medicine!

Elder Hao.

Elder Hao, please. You can't tell anyone.

- Elder Hao, if you do, I will... - How did you find the medicine?

Please stop asking.

I know I was wrong.

You made a mistake.

I know I was wrong.

I'm sorry. I'm sorry.

I can only hide it for you for now,

but it's by no means a long-term solution.

Elder Hao,

please do anything you can to restore my Fighting Energy.

I'll do whatever you want as long as I can regain my Fighting Energy.

Is there no chance?

I...

I can never become a Fighting Practitioner?

It's too hard.

The backlash of the Purple Heart Barrier-Breaking Pill is astonishing,

that's why it's forbidden for those below the level of Fighting King.

You knowingly violated the regulation

and took it anyway.

Elder Hao, the Gu Clan has come from the Central Plains.

Headmaster invites you to come with him.

Okay.

I see. You can leave.

Reflect on your mistake.

Even if you can't become a Fighting Practitioner,

it doesn't mean your future is ruined.

Get better first and then plan for the future.

Xiao Yan!

It's all because of you.

If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have taken the forbidden medicine.

One wrong step, every step is wrong.

I'll make you pay for what you owe me!

We want to thank the Jianan Academy for taking care of the heir of the Gu Clan.

What's in the box are the finest herbs in the Central Plains.

Xiao Xun'er is a student of the academy,

and the academy treats her impartially without any special favor.

The Gu Clan doesn't have to do this.

Our clan leader said that the Douqi Continent is united.

The Gu Clan and the Jiama Empire should have more contacts,

especially with the Jianan Academy, which is the cradle for training Fighting Practitioners.

- I believe these things will be helpful for the improvement and advancement of the students here. - He's so handsome.

Our leader sent me here specially. Please accept them.

In that case, I'd like to thank the Gu Clan on behalf of the students.

I'm Gu Yao, the Devil General of the Black Submerged Army.

I've been ordered by our leader to take you back.

Why does my father want me to go back now?

I'm just following orders.

Leader didn't tell me the details.

I finally got into the Inner Academy,

and the Strong Ranking Grand Competition will be held soon.

If I can make it to the top ten,

I'll be able to enter the Blazing Sky Qi Refining Tower to refine my body,

which will greatly help me improve my strength and my Qi Method.

That's why I can't go back with you now.

Miss, there's the Pill Tower in the Central Plains, and the Gu Clan has the Spirit Pool.

Why do you care about the Blazing Sky Qi Refining Tower?

When I left the Gu Clan,

my father gave me another task,

and I haven't completed it yet.

That's why I can't go back with you.

Does Leader have another mission for you?

- Then you can finish it first. - Really?

Leader specifically instructed me to respect your decision.

Xun'er! I heard your family is here.

Hello, my name is Hu Jia.

I'm Xun'er's classmate and her best friend at the academy.

I bought you some delicious snacks at the academy that are hard to get.

Try it.

Try it.

Thank you.

Is it good?

It's really good.

There are many more delicious and fun things here.

- I'll show you around. - Xun'er!

Xun'er!

I finally found you.

Let me explain.

Gu Yao, since you've just arrived,

let me show you around.

Yes.

Who is he?

Gu Yao, the Devil General of the Black Submerged Army.

Do you know him?

Only the best of the best in the Black Submerged Army

can be called the Devil General.

You've been outclassed.

The Black Submerged Army?

Why does the Gu Clan send the Black Submerged Army here?

None of your business.

How is it none of my business?

Xun'er and I grew up together.

Her business is my business.

He's Xun'er's family.

You're from the Xiao Family in Wutan. He's from the Gu Clan in the Central Plains.

Your background is inferior.

He became Devil General of the Black Submerged Army at such a young age,

and you're a nobody.

In terms of appearance, he isn't inferior to you.

In temperament, he is mature, elegant, and graceful.

How can a firefly compete with the sun and the moon?

The gap is too great and obvious.

Gu Yao!

Where did he come from?

The Devil General of the Black Submerged Army?

Gu Yao.

Why was Xun'er holding his arm?

Xun'er was holding his arm.

Why?

- That sounds unpleasant. - Why?

Don't tell me he can practice it like this?
