[Battle Through The Heaven]

[Episode 18]

[Master of Ice River Valley]

This Three Thousand Thunder Movement is from Wind Thunder Hall.

Where did this kid learn this?

Since you're so interested in him, how about I join in on the fun?

No matter how much you bet, I'll increase it tenfold.

You have never made a losing deal.

So, I bet Xiao Yan to be the winner.

You don't have the ability and rely on a stolen Fighting Technique.

Who do you think you are?

I'm going to teach you a lesson with a technique of your Wind Thunder Hall.

The second skill of the Three Thousand Thunder Movement.

Three Thousand Thunder Illusionary Body!

There are... These are Illusionary Bodies!

Flame Devouring Wave Ruler!

Come on.

Come on. Come here.

Say what you should say.

The fight just now consumed a lot of Fighting Energy.

Please take this Spirit Cleansing Powder.

Mu Qingluan! You-You're bullying me.

You dare to talk but not act.

Hey, Junior Brother, don't say that.

Gentlemen don't utilize others' weaknesses.

You've already defeated her.

Don't add to her embarrassment in public.

Okay, you're right.

Master, they...

Qing'er.

By the way, Junior Brother, why did you claim to be a disciple of our Starfall Hall?

Is Wind Sage coming today?

I can only tell him about the whole story myself.

I'll tell him everything when he comes.

Kid!

Did I allow you to go?

Master.

I acquired your Fighting Technique by chance.

I've already explained the ins and outs very clearly.

Go ask Feng Qing'er.

By chance?

What's wrong with your Wind Thunder Hall?

She's unreasonable, and so are you.

You have two options.

One, follow me obediently and explain everything honestly.

Two, let me kill you now.

Three Thousand Thunder Movement must not be acquired by outsiders.

Wind Thunder Hall is not attractive. I refuse to go.

So, are you choosing the second option?

As for killing me, old timer, even I see your beard has turned grey.

It's not appropriate for me to fight with you.

Master Fei, I can prove what he has said.

I'm teaching this suspicious kid a lesson.

Don't get your Starfall Hall involved.

Feng Xian is not here. Starfall Hall has no other matches.

No one can save him.

Master Fei, show some dignity.

How much influence did you have to have made Ya Fei beg for you?

I'm not protecting him, but the fame of my Auction House.

He comes from the Jiama Empire.

As a newcomer, he knows no disciplines.

He did annoy you.

Naturally, his life is in your hands.

However, Three Thousand Thunder Movement was bought from my Auction House.

If he loses his life, how could I continue my business?

So, I ask Master to please spare his life... for my sake.

One yard owned by a yard.

This kid was so arrogant today.

If I simply let it go, how can I retain my dignity as the host of Wind Thunder Hall?

You insisted on coming despite my persuasion.

Now you know the consequences.

I said I came here for someone. So I had to come here.

Listen to my advice. Keep your head down for your sake, and be submissive.

You want me to beg him?

I don't know how to beg. My master didn't teach me that.

Besides, what did you say?

There are no other matches because Wind Sage is not here?

I'm still here.

You're not qualified to have said that.

You can ask me to spare his life.

At the very least, he must tell the truth and admit that he is not a disciple of Starfall Hall.

At the very least, he must tell the truth and admit that he is not a disciple of Starfall Hall.

I'm a disciple from Starfall Hall wherever I go.

You're just a nobody from the Jiama Empire.

How dare you claim to be a disciple.

Think it through. Are you a disciple of Starfall Hall?

Is your master Feng Xian?

Answer me. If it's a no, I can let you go.

My master is...

What? Speak out loud!

My master is...

Medicine Sage of Starfall Hall.

Who's your master?

Medicine Sage.

Yao Chen is my master!

All hail Master.

Here.

Are you okay?

Feng Xian, long time no see. How are you?

Didn't you say you disliked worldly matters?

Why are you here to join in our fun?

You can keep having fun.

I'm here for him.

You mean this kid?

What a coincidence.

He said he was a disciple of Starfall Hall, and that his master was Yao Chen.

I couldn't bear his statement any longer. I was just cleaning house for you.

Now that it's our internal affair, is there any need for you to intervene?

Feng Xian, I respect you as the Master of Starfall Hall.

It's okay if you don't appreciate it, but you're trying to undermine me.

Wind Thunder Hall is the current host.

If you want to take this boy away, it depends on whether I agree or not.

What? Do you want to get ahead?

You want to make a move?

Where were you then when the Hall of Souls was out in force?

Wind Sage, it...

Why bother bringing up old things again?

Yeah.

We four halls have made a deal with each other about what happened fifty years ago.

Have you forgotten?

I think you have forgotten.

It's only been a few decades, but here you are fighting with me.

How ridiculous.

Feng Xian, we were responsible for the incident back then.

But the fall of Yao Chen cannot be entirely blamed on us.

There was a traitor at your own door.

I've finished talking.

He must be taken away. Just try if you want to stop me.

You!

It's not that we haven't fought before, it's just that you haven't won.

Mr. Feng! Mr. Feng, please stay here.

Who is the champion? Could you provide a conclusion?

Wasn't he the winner?

Wind Sage, Old man Yao is in danger. Please save him.

You said you are the disciple of Yao Chen.

When did he accept you to be a disciple?

It's a complicated story. There is no time for explanation now.

Anyway, Old man Yao is...

Kid, if you can't clearly explain

the relationship between Yao Chen and you,

or if I find you're swindling with his name,

I will destroy your Fighting Energy and disable you as a Fighting Practitioner.

Wind Sage, Old man Yao was captured by the Hall of Souls.

I traveled here from Jiama Empire to visit you and save him.

Yao Chen! Is he still alive?

You saved me just now because I said I'm his disciple.

I know you also believe he's alive.

Otherwise, in these years, why do you keep searching in Central Plains?

If you still don't believe me, please see it for yourself.

Bone Spirit Cold Flame.

Yao Chen, it's you!

After being severely injured, Master had been recovering in the Storage Ring.

We had been master and disciple for years before Mu Gu from the Hall of Souls captured him.

Hall of Souls?

- Mu Gu? - Yes.

Feng Xian.

- Master. - Yao Chen.

Feng Xian.

Master.

Master! Master!

Feng Xian.

Yao Chen.

Feng Xian.

I didn't expect that we could see each other again.

Who did this to you?

We can see each other again.

It's enough.

Feng Xian,

I'm using the sub-fire of the Bone Spirit Cold Flame that is allowing me to you see me.

I'm afraid I won't be able to escape the surveillance of the Hall of Soul Palace. We don't have much time.

- Yao Chen. - Feng Xian, remember everything I tell you.

Don't try to save me.

The next target of the Hall of Souls is Three Thousand Burning Flame.

Xiao Yan is the only one able to stop it.

I'm leaving him with you.

Have him conquer the Three Thousand Burning Flame.

I've taught him Flame Mantra, which helps absorb the flame.

Take him to Starfall Hall, and teach him Fighting Techniques and Qi Methods.

Please take care of him for me.

Please protect him to fight the Hall of Souls.

I've been searching for you for 50 years.

50 years.

I've set feet on every corner of Central Plains.

Yet you're asking me to give you up. How is that possible for me?

That kid made a hard trip to the Central Plains, begging me to save you.

How can he give you up?

Feng Xian, we have no time.

Help Xiao Yan conquer the flame.

He's the only capable one. The only one.

Go!

Yao Chen?

Yao Chen!

Yao Chen!

Wind Sage,

have you seen Master? How is he?

Did he teach you the Flame Mantra?

Yes, he did.

Is everything okay with him now?

Now that you have been taught the Flame Mantra,

I have accepted your inheritance mantle.

From now on, you're a disciple of Starfall Hall.

Stay with us. I'll teach you Starfall Hall techniques.

Starfall Hall techniques?

Then when will I save Master?

It's not the time yet.

You have more important things to do now.

Is there anything more important than saving him?

It's not up to you to save or not to save.

I have my own arrangements.

You've said too much.

Let me ask you something.

Should I save Master or not?

Join Starfall Hall and follow my orders.

If you don’t obey, you will go down the mountain.

I'll go down the mountain to save Master myself.

You won't save him, but I will!

Whether I live or die is none of your business!

How's it going? Did you see Wind Sage?

I owe you another favor for what you have done today.

No, you helped me earn everything back.

Still calling yourself Yan Xiao?

No, I'm Xiao Yan from Wutan City.

I've got clues to the person you're looking for.

Little Fairy Doctor?

What are you doing? Put down your swords.

They are business friends. Understand?

Mr. Ying Wei, what a surprise.

I came here to ask for someone on My Lady's order.

Poison of Calamity Woman?

Miss Ya is indeed well-informed.

Now that you know everything, return Little Fairy Doctor to us.

Isn't this Xiao Yan?

At the Four-Hall Grand Meeting,

it was you who set the rules and made the bet.

You lost to Miss Ya Fei in front of everyone.

I didn’t say I wanted to default on my debt.

My Lady has promised your debt would be cleared

as long as you release that girl.

From now on, our business will still be mutually exclusive.

What do you think, Master of Ice River Valley?

Hold on, hold on.

No worry.

I'll also settle the score for you.

You're asking for the girl for Junior Brother Xiao.

That means this person is very important to Junior Brother Xiao.

I rescued his friend.

My kindness should be priceless.

Besides, to save his friend, how many of my men were injured by the Poison of Calamity Woman?

How would you pay the price of that?

Are you capitalizing on the situation?

If Wind Sage hadn't protected you that day,

you should have been killed at the Four-Hall Grand Meeting.

Go.

What do you want?

Tell Ya Fei I want half of the business in Auction House.

Valley Master,

let's have a private talk.

Okay. Go, go.

In the Central Plains, how much is a life worth?

- Where? - In the Central Plains.

It... It depends.

The price varies.

So, for example, how about yours?

Stand still.

Speak.

You guys! Step back! Step back!

- Back, back. - Stay away!

Stay back!

Go.

Kid, to tell you the truth,

every inch of Ice River Valley is guarded by my mercenaries.

But for the protection of Wind Sage,

if I... if I'm hurt, listen, both of you and Ying Wei, can't make it out of here.

Stop the nonsense.

Take me to see Little Fairy Doctor.

If she loses even a strand of hair, you will lose one arm. Got it?

I... Easy, easy. Let's work this out.

- Go. - Junior Brother, this way.

Poison of Calamity Woman is inside.

You go inside alone. Okay?

Take me inside!

- Okay. - Go.

All right. Easy, easy.

Gently, gently. Bro, let's use words.

Little Fairy Doctor.

The magic ice will freeze you to death in an hour.

Even Fighting Ancestors can't wield Fighting Energy.

Let me tell you, man.

You and Poison of Calamity Woman will die together here today!

Xiao Yan. Danger!

I'm here to get you out.

Listen. The magic ice here is unusual.

Little Doctor Fairy, what's wrong with you?

No matter how hard it is,

it is ice at the end of the day.

I don't believe it can't be melted by flame.

Hold on.

It's a bit challenging.

When we get out, I must give that Valley Master a lesson.

I must strip him naked and let him feel the cold.

Little Fairy Doctor, don't sleep.

I will definitely take you out.

Master of Ice River Valley.

I'm sorry.

I drag you into trouble so many times.

Nonsense.

Little Fairy Doctor, you are powerful.

Why would I find it troublesome?

I'm told...

you knocked those mercenaries off their feet.

In the future,

answer blows with blows to people like them.

Don't show any mercy.

Xiao Yan,

I couldn't find you...

when I arrived at the Central Plains.

All of a sudden, I was frightened.

I've never become more frightened.

I was not frightened by the Poison of Calamity Body.

I was afraid...

I feared...

I could never see you again.

Little Fairy Doctor,

don't be afraid.

I said...

you are my most important friend.

In the past,

I thought you were saved by me.

However, after the Demon Flame Valley incident,

I realized...

you are stronger than me and braver.

Thanks for believing in me.

I'm sorry, Xiao Yan.

Little Fairy Doctor, I can still hold on.

No, don't trigger the Poison of Calamity Body.

- No. - Protect yourself with the flame!

No!

Little Fairy Doctor.

Little Fairy Doctor, are you all right?

I seem to have absorbed the glacial ice.

Little Fairy Doctor, do you realize what you have done?

You triggered Poison of Calamity Body and kept it under control.

You succeeded this time. You will succeed as well the next time.

I said it!

We will solve your Poison of Calamity Body.

What's wrong?

The coldness in my meridians seems to have condensed in my heart channel.

Your Poison of Calamity Body turned the ice into gas and absorbed it.

Xiao Yan, your eyes...

Hold on.

I'm taking you out now.

Master.

Is there a visitor outside?

Yes. Xiao Yan saved a girl in Ice River Valley.

She was poisoned by Venerated Ice Force and has nowhere to seek medical attention.

They're here for your help.

Wind Sage, please save Little Fairy Doctor.

Don’t you know that it’s hard to recover when you overturn the water?

I will try my best whatever you order me to do.

It's indeed the Poison of Calamity Body.

Her heart is damaged.

It's already a wonder to be able to survive.

- Qingluan. - I'm here.

Take her to have a rest in our hall.

Understood.

Little Fairy Doctor, Wind Sage is willing to save you.

You must follow his words.

When did I say I was willing?

Wind Sage, what you said was hard to follow.

Didn’t you just mean it as a promise?

But...

if you ask me to save this young girl,

then you have to join Starfall Hall and become my disciple.

Wind Sage,

I'd like to join the hall.

I took the trip to find Wind Sage.

Wind Sage, once a master, always a father.

I've already followed Old man Yao as my master,

I will never be able to follow you.

Yao Chen really didn’t accept you as his disciple in vain.

Fine.

I can fulfill your filial piety.

I don’t care about the status of master and disciple.

But from now on, you must listen to my teachings and not be stubborn and rebellious.

I'm a disciple of Starfall Hall. I will not disobey Master.

I was supposed to take care of this Starfall Hall on behalf of Yao Chen.

You're his sole disciple.

Now that you have come back to Starfall Hall,

- from now on, you're the Junior Master of Starfall Hall. - This...

- Qingluan. - Yes.

Take him back. Hand all affairs over to him.

As you order.

Junior Master,

this way, please.

Senior Brother Mu,

must I wear this piece of clothes?

You have to keep your identity in mind now.

You're the Junior Master of Starfall Hall.

Everything you say and do

affects the image of Starfall Hall.

No room for slacking off.

All right.

Brother Mu,

Wind Sage was just joking about me becoming Junior Master.

You're taking it too seriously.

Master always sticks to his word.

There's no joking.

Our Starfall Hall divides day and night with evening drums and morning bells, determining dusk and dawn.

So, as the Junior Master,

you are expected to rise with the lark and sleep with the owl.

What? Lark...

That's to say, you must get up earlier than anyone else,

and go to bed later than others.

If the Junior Master can't sleep,

what a miserable life.

How can you know the joys and sorrows of being a family member?

Master has been traveling across the world.

The disciples’ food, clothing, housing and transportation expenses are under my control.

From now on, I'll have to rely on you to do it yourslelf.

No, no. Brother Mu,

why do I get the feeling you're tricking me?

Junior Master.

- I... - MInd your words...

and mind your actions.

Timing and subtitles brought to you by The Heaven's Fighters' Team ⚔️

This is Fighting Technique Hall.

It's the most confidential in Starfall Hall.

I know it.

I've been to the Fighting Technique Hall that Old man Yao recreated in Storage Ring many times.

It's said that there was once a Protection Formation set by Medicine Sage near here.

Even Fighting Venerates can't break free from it with ease.

There really is such a powerful formation!

What a pity.

We disciples have had no chance to see it.

It's said the Protection Formation was activated 50 years ago

when they defended against the Hall of Souls.

Except for hopeless emergencies, the formation won't be activated.

Anyway, as the Junior Master, you have the glorious mission of guarding Fighting Technique Hall.

From now on, come here to check it every day.

Organize Fighting Technique scrolls.

I say. Don't you fear I'll quit the job?

It's a heavy burden.

Master trusts you very much.

So how could you just walk away?

I finally understand.

The title of Junior Master is a rope.

Now this rope is around my neck. Am I right?

What's done is done.

At this moment, you have no way to escape.

Senior Brother!

Senior Brother, bad news.

The chickens we raised stopped laying eggs today, and the rice is almost gone as well as the salt.

- What do we do? - Si Zhu,

Don’t come to me again for this kind of thing in the future.

Find him.

Junior Brother, has Master accepted you?

Si Zhu, don't be rude.

Master has designated him as Junior Master.

Greetings to Junior Master.

I am the disciple of the chef, the one who holds the spoons.

Master thought my original name was bad, so he changed it to Si Zhu.

They all call me Little Candle.

Little Candle. Little Candle. I got it.

Junior Master, listen, we're running out of rice.

Our hens are laying no eggs.

There's little salt as well. Tell me what to do?

- You can't ignore this matter. - Hold on.

It suddenly occurred to me...

that I've got other commitments.

Let’s talk about that another day.

Another day.

The beans are gone, too.

After him. Go.

Junior Master, the beans are gone too!

The chickens can't lay eggs!
