[Battle Through The Heaven]

[Episode 14]

Your Highness, please give her a hand.

It's improper for me to do that.

What're you afraid of? I won't tell Xiao Xun'er.

I can handle it myself. I won't burden you guys.

By yourself, then when can we arrive at the academy?

Hurry, don't waste time.

[Jianan Academy]

Wu Hao.

Senior Brother Bai Cheng, you're back.

How did Bai Shan die?

That's how things unfolded.

After the competition, Elder Hao tried his best to cure Bai Shan.

Although he stayed alive, his meridians were damaged

by the elixirs he had taken due to the corrosivity of elixirs.

His Fighting Energy regressed to elementary levels

with little chance of advancement.

Elementary levels...

That's the same as killing him.

He refused to accept the reality at the beginning.

So, he locked himself in the training room, practicing relentlessly day and night.

I don’t know how many wooden posts were broken.

But there was no fighting spirit to protect the body. After all, he is just a body of flesh and blood.

If you continued practicing like that, I'm afraid his life would have been at risk.

That's why he gave me Great Rift Rock, the skill of your Bai Family,

in the hope of me defeating Xiao Yan.

That's to say,

he was deceived by Han Feng at that time.

Yes.

He didn't betray us, nor did he have a way out.

A glimmer of hope, though fake, was what he wanted to seize.

Brother, things have settled down.

Don't think this way.

Tell me what am I supposed to think?

He has been competitive since childhood.

He was always the best.

Xiao Yan crippled his Fighting Energy in public, forcing him to death.

Becoming a traitor was the wrong path he chose.

But he didn't choose it deliberately.

It's all because of Xiao Yan.

I've never considered him a traitor.

Bai Shan tried his best to restore his Fighting Spirit before,

but then stepped forward at the most critical moment and did not succumb to Han Feng's tricks.

He was brave for not yielding to failure,

for admitting mistakes and making amends,

and for fighting strong enemies head-on.

You should feel proud of your younger brother.

Sure.

I'm proud of him.

He never lowered his head in submission, not even till death.

Xiao Yan!

Let's go. The academy is ahead.

This way you don't have to bow your head.

I'm afraid I might stir up trouble in the academy again if I go there.

I hate repeating the past.

Poison of Calamity Body is not a cage, but your inborn gift.

Don't be afraid. Trust me.

The elders will help you.

[Jianan Academy]

- So, these elixirs. - Again, again.

...can not only support Fighting Energy practice,

but also play an integral role in real fights.

They matter to your lives.

Can any of you review for us the functions of elixirs?

He or she will be awarded a foundation-building elixir.

What crap liquid.

All you have are useless elixirs.

You! What do you mean?

A load of crap.

Everyone knows you allowed Xiao Yan to take Fallen Heart Flame for his own use.

The Blazing Sky Qi Refining Tower is an ordinary pavilion now, useless for practicing.

Yeah. I agree.

Who told you that? All rumors.

We came here to improve our Fighting Energy.

With no Heavenly Flames, what's the point of staying here?

Let's all go home.

- Yeah. Let's go home. - Go home.

- Go, go, go. Go back home. Let's go. - Respect class disciplines!

Stop.

- You! - Wu Hao.

Elder, they disrespect teachers and disturb the class.

We shouldn't just sit by.

That's not their fault.

It's because of Bai Cheng.

How pitiful that my foundation-building elixir is wasted.

How could they say that?

Students these days...

Elder.

[Elders' House]

Elder Hao, what's wrong?

Students nowadays...

Some students are claiming that Xiao Yan should return the Fallen Heart Flame.

Even my foundation-building elixir doesn’t look down on me.

What're you angry at?

Returning the Fallen Heart Flame, or your elixir?

You! You're so annoying.

That's a Grade II elixir!

You're an elder. How come you can't discipline students?

He's not an ordinary student.

You mean Bai Cheng.

Demanding the return of the flame is a clear sign of targeting Xiao Yan.

What happened?

No idea.

Dear classmates, the Bai Group has been established today.

I believe many of you are well aware

some people in the Inner Academy purport to be heroes,

but rely on their size and strength to seize resources for their own use.

They selfishly improve themselves regardless of the interests of others.

That equals cheating.

I don't mind you founding the group, but why are you smearing Xiao Yan?

Did I say it was Xiao Yan?

The only reason you're anxious about admitting i

is because you feel guilty.

- I'm not guilty. - Besides,

Xiao Yan took the Fallen Heart Flame away. Is it a slander?

It's a fact.

I, Bai Cheng, promise that

I will never befriend Xiao Yan.

All members of my group have access to

all the skills I have acquired and all the elixirs.

Bai Group.

Bai Group. Bai Group. Bai Group.

Everyone!

If Xiao Yan hadn't conquered the Fallen Heart Flame,

Jianan Academy would have disappeared.

The Bai Group will definitely take back what belongs to the academy

and stand against Xiao Yan.

Bai Cheng, did you get the approval of the Guard before establishment?

No wonder Xiao Yan is so arrogant.

Has he bribed the Guard?

What? You're a small guard captain.

Do you want to control academy's rules?

Let's see whether you can change the rules.

Wu Hao.

Headmaster.

Bai Cheng, your Bai Group should take responsibility.

Why are you doing this?

Headmaster, I'm doing this for the students of Inner Academy

to take back our possessions.

Your possessions.

What are your possessions?

The Fallen Heart Flame, the Blazing Sky Qi Refining Tower,

or the whole academy?

Students, it was not because of luck

that Xiao Yan conquered the Fallen Heart Flame.

At a dangerous moment, he stepped out for the academy.

Our academy is set for practice.

Every graduate

who walks out from here is upright and aboveboard.

Without such realization,

I think you'd better be dismissed from the academy.

Well, well, that's it. Clear off. Take your class.

- Go. - Let's go. Go.

Headmaster, did my brother deserve to die?

I've said everything that needs to be said.

Since you care so much, fine.

Then I will specially approve you to enter the Blazing Sky Qi Refining Tower.

But... think it through.

Are you confining me and my Bai Group?

I said it's for practicing.

If you regard it as confinement,

then it is.

Go, go.

Gu Yao, you know I value you.

You should be aware I have great hope for you.

Patriarch, are you worried about the Hall of Souls?

The Bodhi Tree sealing Soul Destroyer is not in a stable condition.

Although it's guided by the Black Submerged Army,

I just can't rest assured.

Soul Destroyer was the trump of the Hall of Souls.

As Mu Gu now claims to be the master of the hall,

it is inevitable that he will not have some thoughts about him.

So I'm sending you to find out.

If the seal is intact, reinforce it.

If there is any change in the seal, report it immediately.

I'll do whatever I can.

Suppressing evil forces is the mission of my ancient clan.

Remember to keep a low profile during this inspection.

Don't scare the snake away,

or cause unnecessary panic in the Central Plains.

You can pick a few people from the Black Submerged Army and set off immediately.

Patriarch.

I have a request for the followers.

Please grant my request.

Miss, Patriarch has authorized you to leave the altar and return to the clan to receive your orders.

How could my father suddenly change his mind?

From what I know, you're asked to assist the Black Submerged Army.

I knew Gu Yao would get me out.

Xun'er greets Father.

Have you reflected on yourself these days?

Since I've returned to the clan, I will prioritize the whole clan.

Go check the seal that confines Soul Destroyer together with Gu Yao.

It's of great importance. Don't joke around.

If Gu Yao hadn't requested that you go,

I would not have removed you from the altar so easily.

Don't think I don't know what you are thinking.

If business is delayed because of others this time,

I will punish both of you.

I will bear the punishment if we fail this time.

I will finish the task.

Just go.

Wait a second.

This time, go and investigate secretly.

Don't stick your neck out.

Remember, you're the eldest daughter of this clan.

Dad, don't worry. I will come back safely.

I will definitely prioritize her safety.

Go ahead.

Slow down.

Sit down.

You guys rest in my room first.

I'm going to find the headmaster. He will save you.

Xiao Yan, please be quick.

The poison of the little medicine fairy cannot survive to noon.

Okay.

Another petition from the students.

Yeah. Bai Cheng, on the grounds that Xiao Yan took away the Fallen Heart Flame,

he launched an attack on the academy

and stirred up trouble among the students.

His dissatisfaction with Xiao Yan and the academy's decision,

he's forcing the academy to declare that Xiao Yan should return the Fallen Heart Flame.

Bai Cheng has great popularity among students.

Listen. Everyone admires and respects him.

He airs his voice, and students naturally, follow him.

Now thathe's on lockdown, students are even more dissatisfied.

Headmaster. Elder Hu Qian.

I'm back.

Xiao Yan, you come at the right time.

Are you returning the Fallen Heart Flame?

What? Anything else?

Years ago in the Magic Beast Mountain Range,

I met a friend named Little Fairy Doctor.

She was exploited by Han Feng because of her Poison of Calamity Body.

When we met again in the Demon Flame Valley,

I promised her to find her an antidote,

so...

I want to ask if it's possible

to let my friend enter the Blazing Sky Qi Refining Tower for isolation,

so that I'll have some time

to find the Bodhi Incarnation Saliva that can neutralize the poisonous body.

Poison of Calamity Body?

Is it congenital...

or acquired?

She was born with it.

Congenital Poison of Calamity Body is powerful and hard-to-control.

When it's out of control,

the poison will erupt, and the toxic gas will spread,

causing devastation.

But she has been desperately restraining it

and persisted all the way to Jianan Academy.

I know that the Blazing Sky Qi Refining Tower used to be a place for storing the Fallen Heart Flame

and is an isolated location.

So, if given some time,

I can find the Bodhi Incarnation Saliva,

and let her safely live out her life.

Insolent!

The Poison of Calamity Body is a curse!

When she can't control it and it erupts,

the entire academy and even the Jiama Empire

- will suffer devastating blows. - Headmaster...

You think that I value your talent

knowing you bear a heavy responsibility,

so I repeatedly tolerated you and helped you,

just so you can do whatever you want without restraint?

- I wouldn't dare. - You are still young.

Do you think that because you have achieved everything,

you can disregard this world and all the lives here?

Little do you know that there are things...

in this world that you cannot reverse.

Jianan Academy has a bottom line.

There is no need to discuss the matter of the Poison of Calamity Body entering the tower.

Bring your friend out of here! Leave!

Headmaster.

Headmaster. Headmaster.

Hey, Xiao Yan.

Xiao Yan. Xiao Yan.

Elder Hu Qian.

What's wrong, Elder?

Xiao Yan, please don't blame the Headmaster.

When he received his education here,

he had a friend born with a Poison of Calamity Body.

He scoured Jiama Empire

for a drop of the Bodhi Incarnation Saliva.

And what was the result?

Bodhi trees in the Jiama Empire had perished long ago.

The whole Douqi Continent no longer produces Bodhi trees.

So, what about his friend?

Without an antidote, the Poison of Calamity Body broke out.

The Jiama Empire was transformed into a poisonous land overnight.

Headmaster could only take his old friend and escape into the mountains.

Three days later,

he came back alone, full of grief.

Since then, no one has talked about the incident.

It took him a whole decade of effort

to clear up the toxin inside his body.

You can imagine how miserable it was...

in the remote mountains for those three days.

He just fears you will repeat history.

Suffering from severe poison is the next best thing.

Disappointing the hopes of friends and personally taking the life of an old friend...

is a pain that is difficult for ordinary people to bear.

Headmaster has done everything to help you.

Bai Cheng abetted students against you and caused trouble in the academy.

Headmaster has been on your side.

Don't blame him for being ruthless.

Don't enter the tower on your own.

Bai Cheng is in confinement in the tower thinking about his past mistakes.

Fine.

If my poison becomes active, please don't show mercy to me.

Rest assured.

If you become poisonous, I will sink you into the ground

without letting you pollute Jianan Academy.

Although you look brutal,

you always consider Xiao Yan's benefits.

How lucky he is to have such a friend like you.

It's noon.

Where is he? He's so slow.

Any progress? Can she enter the tower?

Headmaster refused my request.

Little Fairy Doctor,

I'm sorry.

No need to.

I knew I shouldn't have come here.

Don't feel sorry.

If you're not accepted here,

then come back to the Serpent Kingdom with me.

I don't believe only Blazing Sky Qi Refining Tower can prevent it from breaking out.

Little Fairy Doctor,

your face...

Don't worry. We will find solutions.

Xiao Yan is back.

Xiao Yan. Xiao Yan.

Xiao Yan, you're really here.

We're leaving.

No. You've just come back.

I refuse.

If we stay here, you will die.

She's such a beautiful girl,

yet with such a pitiful life.

Don't worry. I will handle this matter.

How can you handle it?

Headmaster refused to help us. What can you do?

You want to enter the tower. Right?

I'll take care of it.

Elder Hao, why are you on their side?

Hu Jia has told me everything.

In my 30-year teaching career, this is the first Poison of Calamity Body I've seen.

Such a precious specimen must be preserved.

Elder Hao, she's not a specimen.

I... It's just a metaphor.

I mean I can try my best to keep her poison under control.

To show my sincerity, I'd like to enter the tower with her.

Headmaster's order.

The ten days of Bai Group’s confinement have been completed.

You can leave the Blazing Sky Qi Refining Tower immediately.

Bai Cheng.

Unless Xiao Yan comes with me, I won't leave the tower.

Brother Bai Cheng, I'm Xiao Yan.

Elder Hu Qian fabricated the order for you,

which means Headmaster refused your request.

Since Headmaster doesn't agree, I, a punished student,

have no reason to ask for a higher penalty to help you.

I, Xiao Yan, am willing to bear all the punishment.

I can give up the Blazing Sky Qi Refining Tower, but you can't go in.

You're at my disposal.

As long as Little Fairy Doctor enters, I'm at your disposal.

Good.

Xiao Yan, thanks.

This is where my life ends.

It's not. Let's go.

This way.

What's wrong?

Watch out.

Wu Hao.

Open your mouth.

Wake up.

Wake up.

Don't look at her.

Otherwise, you're over.

I don’t know what kind of luck this Xiao Yan has.

He has met all kinds of people others could never meet in their lifetime.

Not to mention a Poison of Calamity Body,

there's the Triple Jade-Green Snake Flower Pupils.

Triple Jade-Green Snake Flower Pupils?

It means in her eyes, three flowers appear at the same time.

Even an advanced Fighting Ancestor would lose all the power.

Everyone and everything is shrouded in hallucinations.

Sleep.

Avoid her eyes! Split up! Go!

Your Highness.

Little Fairy Doctor. You!

Little Fairy Doctor.

Your face...

Is my face darker?

Little Fairy Doctor, you have to control yourself, for Xiao Yan.

Don't let them succeed.

As long as you admit it in front of all the teachers and students in the academy

that you disobeyed Headmaster's order

and brought the Poison of Calamity Body in,

she will be fine for the time being.

I didn't wrong you.

This is exactly what you have done.

But I don't mean to put the academy at risk.

You never mean any harm, but others will bear the consequences.

There's no such good deal anymore.

Let’s see how Xiao Yan treats his so-called friends.

Does he really value them as much as he says?

Xiao Yan, did you bring Poison of Calamity Body to the Jianan Academy?

Yes.

Did Headmaster refuse to allow her into the Blazing Sky Qi Refining Tower?

Yes.

But if he wants to put the academy in danger, why does he bring her to the tower?

The barrier of the tower is strong enough to confine even Heavenly Flames.

Even if the Poison of Calamity Body breaks out, it can prevent the toxin from spreading.

Xiao Yan is not hurting us.

If he doesn't mean to, why does he bring Poison of Calamity Body here,

but leave the academy?

Of course, he's got his reasons.

He's going to find antidotes that only exist in legends.

Can he find them?

No one knows.

But leaving this Poison of Calamity Body that can explode at any time

and threaten the entire academy is absolutely real!

You took away the Fallen Heart Flame,

and now you want to destroy Blazing Sky Qi Refining Tower.

You want to destroy Jianan Academy as well!

- Repel the Poison Lady. - Repel the Poison Lady.

- Expel Xiao Yan. - Expel Xiao Yan.

- Repel the Poison Lady. - Repel the Poison Lady.

- Expel Xiao Yan. - Expel Xiao Yan.

- Repel the Poison Lady. - Repel the Poison Lady.

- Expel Xiao Yan. - Expel Xiao Yan.

- Repel the Poison Lady. - Repel the Poison Lady.

- Expel Xiao Yan. - Expel Xiao Yan.

Little Fairy Doctor, hold on.

Your Highness, please kill me now.

I mean it. I can't hold on anymore.

Elder.

It... It's...

It's poison mist!

Poison mist...

What are you doing?

Our group leader has the order that

if the poison comes out, we must deliver the message.

There's movement in the tower.

Xiao Yan, the poisonous girl you brought is about to explode.
