[Battle Through The Heaven]

[Episode 10]

Han Feng. [Hall of Misty Cloud Sect]

You rebelled against orthodoxy and deceived your master.

This is the first sin.

You joined the Hall of Souls and helped a villain to do evil.

This is the second sin.

And now you've killed my father by stabbing him in the back.

This is the third sin.

Master.

Elder.

Elder. Save me.

If you take one more step closer, you'll end up like him.

Yao Chen, your disciple is quite courageous.

Look what you've done to the Misty Cloud Sect.

If you follow me back to the Hall of Souls now,

the Misty Cloud's view may still be preserved.

You couldn't beat me back then, and it's the same today.

Whirling Dervish Flame Fist.

I wanted to spare your lives.

Why are you so ungrateful?

Good.

It's almost time.

The game ends here.

Senior Brother, why are you doing this?

You have to return to the Hall of Souls with me.

Your Bone Spirit Cold Flame as well as Xiao Yan's Heavenly Flames

will all belong to the Hall of Souls.

I'll show you how your disciple will die.

Xiao Yan.

Everyone of Starfall Hall is here today.

My junior. My disciple.

Looks like it's time for me to yield my post.

Mu Gu, compared to Xiao Yan's Heavenly Flames,

how about my Bone Spirit Cold Flame?

Isn't it just for this reason that you tried so hard to lure Xiao Yan to the Misty Cloud Sect?

I'm handing it over now.

As for who gets it, it's up to you.

Master, the Bone Spirit Cold Flame cannot be given to him.

Xiao Yan, I was right about you.

You are my proudest student.

Master!

You are destined to carry a greater responsibility.

Go and fulfill your mission.

- Master! - Sage!

Brother Xiao Yan.

I failed to protect you.

I failed to protect anyone.

It was you who protected me since I was a child.

If it wasn't for you,

I'd have been dead long ago.

From withdrawing from my marriage,

to studying at Jianan Academy,

and to dueling with Yun Shan,

I just wanted...

to protect the people I love.

I just wanted them to live.

But they...

Han Feng's move was meant for me.

But Father got in front of me.

To save me, Master...

Brother Xiao Yan.

The responsibility of the Xiao Clan.

The responsibility of Starfall Hall.

Am I worth it? Can I afford it?

Each of us has our own responsibilities and our own mission.

We all have a lot of choices we have to make.

Uncle Xiao did this for the future of the Xiao Family.

Medicine Sage did this for Starfall Hall

and to eradicate the Hall of Souls.

They chose to risk their own lives

and entrusted you with a greater responsibility.

This is their deepest trust in you.

Uncle Xiao trusted you.

And so did Medicine Sage.

You're not just Xiao Yan now.

You're the patriarch of the Xiao Family, the only disciple of Medicine Sage,

and my Brother Xiao Yan.

Xun'er, is your duty the Gu Clan?

Yes.

But I'm also a member of the Xiao Family.

I'm Xiao Xun'er.

Your mission is mine, too.

I'll always stand with you and accompany you.

Father,

you once told me...

that the Xiao Family was originally from the Central Plains

and fell because of the fight against the Hall of Souls.

I remember and understand what you said.

The eagle has grown and should fly in the sky.

I will take up the Xiao Family's responsibility...

to fight against the Hall of Souls.

- Come and get me. - Don't run, you brat!

- Don't run! - You can't catch me!

I will beat you!

You brat! Do you want to refine the tripod with this much fire?

Xiao Yan.

Master.

- Master. - Xiao Yan.

Take the core of the Bone Spirit Cold Flame.

Don't look for me.

Take the Storage Ring to the Central Plains.

Master, where are you?

Go to the Central Plains.

Master!

The Central Plains.

Master, wait for me.

[Subdivision-hall of the Hall of Souls]

I didn't expect that our reunion would be in this way.

It's not that I didn't give you a choice.

All these years,

you've coveted my Bone Spirit Cold Flame.

I will not give it to the Hall of Souls.

Don't waste your time.

I don't just want Bone Spirit Cold Flame, I want you.

I want a genius alchemist like you in the Hall of Souls.

I really don't want to see such an outstanding alchemist

working for those scoundrels of the Central Plains and the Jiama Empire.

You should serve the Hall of Souls.

Just tell these beautiful lies

to someone like Han Feng who's obsessed with profit.

Mu Gu,

there's only one thing I can't figure out.

The Hall of Souls kills and robs,

and sucks in people's Fighting Energy to cultivate their evil techniques.

Since when did you have your eye on the Heavenly Flames?

For power.

Isn't that quite simple?

Soul Destroyer used his evil technique to restore your withered hand.

And you... you offered your soul to the Hall of Souls.

You...

What are you talking about?

How dare you laugh?

Mu Gu,

do you remember what you did with your hands?

Yes!

I fought the Hall of Souls with my hands.

But so what?

The Hall of Souls killed me and saved me.

The most important thing is

that he's given me something that you never could.

Even if you ask me 10,000 times, I will still give you the same answer.

Turn around and find the shore.

Mu Gu,

even if you've gone so far.

You should be the one who comes back to shore.

I feel sorry for you.

You're a genius. But you don't see things as clearly as I do.

On the Douqi Continent, the strongest has the final say.

Why don't you join the greatest power of all,

instead of making enemies of it?

Power is just a dirty word,

a way to trick people like you

into sacrificing themselves to the greed of the Hall of Souls.

No.

The master of the world is the master of power.

What did the Hall of Souls give you?

Lord Soul Destroyer chose me.

Before he died,

he granted me the greatest secret of the Hall of Souls.

As long as I feed his formation with the Heavenly Flames,

I'll have access to the Soul Lock

and a constant supply of Fighting Energy

until I break through to the strongest power.

That's why you want the Heavenly Flames?

Submit to the Hall of Souls.

I can give you what the Hall of Souls gave me.

How many people died because of the Soul Lock?

Don't you feel terrible?

You're so stubborn because you haven't felt the power.

I'll see you again.

By then, I hope you'll give me a wise answer.

Xiao Yan.

It's far from the Xiao Family's camp.

What do you want to say?

I'm going to the Central Plains.

Old man Yao is still alive.

He left me a clue in the Storage Ring.

This time, I will bring him back.

The Hall of Souls originated in the Central Plains.

You've seen Mu Gu's evil technique.

Their power is not in cultivation but in capturing.

I don't know why they're collecting Heavenly Flames.

But Mu Gu sees himself as the new master of the Hall of Souls.

If he wants to restore the Hall of Souls, it won't be that simple.

The Gu Clan will never let it go.

It's the same with your Xiao Family.

Perhaps we'll meet again.

These days, the Black Submerged Army has been investigating all parts of the Jiama Empire.

Follow this map and you'll find a portal to the Central Plains.

It may help.

But it's guarded by mercenaries. Be careful.

Thank you.

This time, I'm going alone.

This is my own mission. I won't involve Xun'er anymore.

After I leave, take Xun'er back.

Please take care of her in the future.

It's my duty to protect her.

You can rest assured.

Gu Yao, you're a good opponent.

One day, I will go to the Gu Clan and defeat you,

then take Xun'er with me.

I'll prove that I'm strong enough to protect her.

Okay.

Xun'er.

Brother Xiao Yan.

You don't have to say anything.

I understand.

This is the Gu Clan's Earth Class Fighting Technique, the Emperor Seal Technique.

By practicing this technique, we can be connected.

When it's perfected, it can reach the power of a Heaven Class Fighting Technique.

But try not to use it unless it’s a critical moment.

If the clan finds out, they'll take it back.

Xun'er.

I'm worried about you going to the Central Plains alone.

I'm worried about you fighting the Hall of Souls alone.

I'm worried about leaving you here alone.

I promise you we'll meet again in the Gu Clan.

If I say I will, then I definitely will.

But...

But this time is different from before.

After I go back this time, I'll be Gu Xun'er.

But you'll always be my Xun'er.

The next time we meet again,

I will show my strength

and let everyone in the Gu Clan know...

that you were right about me.

I, Xiao Yan, am powerful.

All right. Time is running out.

I'll take you to practice the Fighting Technique.

Okay.

Xun'er!

Xun'er!

Brother Xiao Yan.

[Gu Realm, Gu Clan's Settlement]

I don't have to wear this.

Miss Xun'er, the Returning Ceremony is a big event.

It's better to be solemn.

Miss Xun'er,

I've been ordered by the patriarch to escort you to the Returning Ceremony.

What are you doing?

Just say yes.

Yes.

Are you used to everything here?

It's not the same as when I was a child.

Now you are the Clan Lady of the Gu Clan.

Naturally, you're honored.

I just want to be able to stretch out comfortably.

You'll get used to it.

By the way, when you see my father,

what are you going to say if he asks about the Xiao Family?

What do you want me to say?

I want the fact that the ancient jade is with Xiao Yan

to be a secret between the two of us.

I have my duties.

I'll do what I have to do.

Gu Yao of the Black Submerged Army was ordered to bring the Clan Lady back.

Greetings, Father.

Your safe return is a blessing from the ancestors.

It's been more than ten years.

You've grown up.

Father, don't worry.

The Xiao Family has always treated me well.

Uncle Xiao treated me as if I were his own.

I've never been wronged.

The Xiao Family is very kind.

It's just a pity about Xiao Zhan.

The Xiao Family has collapsed.

Did you get the ancient jade back?

It's my fault. The Xiao Family's ancient jade is lost.

Lost?

On his deathbed, Uncle Xiao

passed on the title of Xiao Family's patriarch to Xiao Yan.

But he didn't leave the jade to Xiao Yan.

Both Gu Yao and I were there. He can testify to that.

Gu Yao, tell me.

Patriarch,

Patriarch Xiao was killed by Han Feng in the Misty Cloud Sect.

Before he died, he passed on the title of patriarch to Xiao Yan.

I saw it with my own eyes.

It's true what Miss Xun'er said, and I didn't see the ancient jade.

You once reported that not only was Xiao Zhan killed in the Misty Cloud Sect,

but the Medicine Sage of the Central Plains was also captured.

The Medicine Sage was captured by Mu Gu of the Hall of Souls.

His life remains unknown.

According to our investigations in the Jiama Empire,

Mu Gu is the master of a subdivision hall of the Hall of Souls.

How can a mere Mu Gu create such a storm?
