So how about we use available light or

man-made light, light that is already existing

in the environment?

Well, it's not on yet, but basically what

we have in my bathroom right now is

this makeup area, these makeup lights.

And they're very, very beautiful.

They're very glamorous.

Of course, they're tungsten.

They're quite yellow.

So either we want that yellow or we

correct it afterwards.

It just depends on what we want.

Let's just first get Lisa in where we

want her to be.

I need you to come really, really close.

Okay, stop there.

Bring your backside right in and then tilt

your face this way and then turn.

Now, let's just look at her face.

Let's just come back here for a second.

If you look at her face right now,

you see how it's quite masculine light.

We've got a nice edge light.

We've got split lighting, but the lighting is

not nice on this side.

So we always start from, so turn your

face this way.

We'd start from here and we turn her

face and turn it until her complete eye

socket is lit.

Perfect.

Lisa, tilt this way, chin up a little

bit, and you can rest on there for

me.

That's right on the glass.

Yep.

And then if you can bring that shoulder

back a little bit.

Okay, so now I've got my 105 macro

with my FTZ adapter and that's gonna give

me somewhere to go here.

I'm gonna start at 1600 ISO.

I am gonna shoot with the tungsten white

balance.

So let's do that.

And let's see if that's cleaned it up.

It has, probably even a bit too much,

but let's see.

Let's lean you back a little bit.

Good.

Turn your face more that way.

stage.

We're not ready for that.

I love the fact that we can actually

see that beautiful edge light in the environment

there.

It's just beautiful.

Just composing this in a way where I

don't get the thermostat.

And when I say warmth, guys, in the

eyes, I'm basically after that hint of a

smile without sort of being too smiley about

it.

This is quite dramatic, so we don't want

to go too far.

I'm going to increase my depth here.

Of course, with a 3.2 on a

macro is going to be shallower than 3

.2 on a different lens.
