Alright, I want to try a silhouette in

a situation that you're not normally used to

seeing it.

And what we've got here, we've got a

beautiful couple, they're sharing a moment here while

we're having some fun, which is great.

If you look at the actual wall there,

there's a building right there and there's a

piece of sun on it.

What I'm going to do is I'm going

to try to isolate the sun, expose for

it, focus on them and get a beautiful

silhouette of the couple.

Rather than doing the standard silhouette that we

see perhaps at a beach or something like

that.

A silhouette means of course we're outlining shape,

we don't really see any detail in them

and I think we can create something pretty

spectacular here.

What I'm going to do right now is

I am going to create my white balance

on shade, I am going to put my

picture control on vivid.

What's going to happen is it's going to

make that warm tone wall even warmer and

more vivid and of course because I'm shooting

in raw, I can go in any direction

I want afterwards.

But I like the idea that we can

do something in camera and see what it

looks like.

Now there's a bit of sun on you.

Do me a favour, both of you lean

your bodies towards me, your upper bodies towards

me.

All right, perfect.

Chin down there for me Lisa and look

at each other's lips.

Give me a bit of breathing space between

your faces.

Chin up a little bit for me Dylan.

Okay, so now just go on manually focus

because it's such a silhouette, you can't see,

the camera can't see what to focus on.

Forehead's touching guys and allow a bit of

breathing space.

Chin up a little bit there for me.

Give me a little bit of a turtle

face there mate.

Chin down Lisa so I see a bit

of breathing space between your noses, a bit

more.

Just get that nose off her forehead, there

you go, perfect, love that.

Hold it there.

Yeah, that's perfect.

So we got that shot out of literally

nothing.

So try to remember that you have to

look at locations in very different ways.

It's not just the obvious, it's our job

as photographers to see the world a little

bit differently and after you've been shooting for

a while you start to recognize just a

little piece of sun on a wall can

create an incredible opportunity with a couple in

the foreground like this and let's show the

couple and see what they think.

Oh pretty, it's like a heart.
