All language subtitles for 12. Bride Leaning Against a Wall

Okay, we have talked about a few options

when it comes to the groom on a

wall.

Now let's look at how we can work

with the pillar and on the wall with

the bride as well.

So first of all, let's get your backside

right here and let's just see how this

evolves.

Okay, so of course now it looks like

baby's in the corner, right?

So we don't want that, we want a

little bit more finesse.

So let's just get the feet off there.

Beautiful.

See, sometimes when she's sandwiched in like that,

this could almost be a waist or it

could be draped nicely.

I'll let you guys be the judge.

That looks pretty cool to me.

In the same way that we did with

the groom, guys, really, really important that you

get her backside on the wall and bring

the shoulders off it because your instinct would

be to bring her shoulders on there.

If that happens, then your face will sink

in and then your belly will be close

to the camera.

So what I'd like you to do is

bring your backside right up against the wall

but bring your feet a bit off it.

Bend this knee, so that front one, bring

it over.

Gorgeous.

And the backside's there and then you're leaning

up.

Beautiful.

Let's come over here and just slightly refine.

Okay, very nice.

Now turn your shoulders a little bit more

towards me.

That's it.

Beautiful.

And then, in fact, the dress is just

begging to be held right now, so I

want you to sort of grab the dress

as if you're about to walk even though

you're on the pillar there or the wall.

Gorgeous.

Bring that hands up a little bit.

Too much, just relax a little bit.

Fantastic.

Shoulders back, lean forward, turn your face this

way.

And it works.

It just gives us a really beautiful concept.

Now, the dress I could make a bit

nicer, of course, but for the sake of

time here, you get the idea of what

I'm talking about.

Now, I want to show you guys how

this pillar can give us an idea for

a photograph as well.

So, Lisa, if you can just sort of

swoop around right around this way, there's a

few things that we can do with this

pillar.

It could either be, let's say we have

a plus-size bride and we want to

soften her weight a little bit.

So, I want you to do this for

me.

Okay, so you're resting your shoulder here and

you're doing this.

Perfect.

So, your arm is being hidden and softened.

You can see the evidence of the hand

there and even this hand could actually just

come out like this.

And now, because you can't see the left

arm because it's behind the pillar, this could

easily drape on this side.

Plus-size or not plus-size, it looks

quite beautiful.

And then point the toe towards there, bend

the knee a little bit.

That's gorgeous.

Perfect.

Let's have a look at that camera there

now.

Okay, yeah, she looks absolutely beautiful.

So, turn your right shoulder more that way.

Perfect.

Lean forward and then turn your face back

this way.

Let's look at this camera now.

And you can see how cool that would

be for a plus-size bride.

I think it looks really sweet.

Or you can actually do something completely opposite.

Now, do me a favour now.

I actually want you to turn your whole

body around and then rest.

I want you to rest this shoulder on

here and then your right toe towards the

camera and then bending the knee.

Beautiful.

Let's have a look at that.

Just so we can see more of what's

going on here, we're going to bring this

back.

Let's do this out like that.

Beautiful.

Just like that.

Slightly bend that elbow as we've been talking

about all this time.

Beautiful.

And then tilt the face, chin up, and

that shoulder's back there.

Gorgeous.

Let's have a look.

Yeah, I love that.

I think it looks really pretty.

Of course, we can get Dylan right behind,

hugging from behind, and we can even get

him from the front.

This is the cool thing.

You could easily just put him in another

situation that we haven't done yet.

So, Dylan, come over here, mate.

We're going to get you in sort of

the exact same pose as you did before.

And that was just resting your backside right

up against the wall, hands in the pockets,

you had your weight on your back leg.

In fact, let's look at this camera here.

Yeah, that's really cool.

So this one, of course, guys, we're not

really meant to be, it's not meant to

be romantic because they're basically apart.

And we don't want to do that little

cheesy looking around the pillar, looking at each

other, smiling.

That's going to look a lot better.

The angle here, full length, I think is

actually where it's at.

It's actually really cool.

What I need, though, is a bit more

finesse of the bride.

So just hold the dress up a little

bit there for me.

And again, this is just a way of

doing something like traditional, but just adding a

little bit of edge to it.

If we feel, let's say that maybe the

groom is too much bigger than the bride,

which usually is the case, but in proportion,

we might actually do this exact shot, but

just switch it around.

But in this case, it just gives you

an idea.

I also like to do something like this

with a foreground background, like get the groom

way, way close to the camera, have turns

focusing on the groom, have turns focusing on

the bride, looking at each other independently and

all that kind of stuff.

So what I want to do now is

I actually want to emulate a couple of

ideas on how would you pose a bride

and where would you start with the bride

on a bed, for example.

We're going to emulate a bed and give

you some ideas on how that can work.
