In this chapter I want to talk to

you about a new program that came to

my hands a couple of days ago and

the truth is that it really blew my

mind, right?

I'm talking about a program called Narrative Select

and it's an image selection program.

I mean, we could say that there are

other programs like Lightroom, Adobe Bridge, Photomechanic...

But why am I telling you about this

program?

Well, the truth is that it is a

program that is based on artificial intelligence and

has the peculiarity that it reads or analyzes

in an incredible way all the faces that

appear in our images.

Therefore, it will help us enormously or it

will make things much easier when selecting images

in which there are more than two or

three people in said image.

Therefore, it will be perfect for selecting group

photos, family photos and all that set of

images that you are already seeing like the

one I'm showing you now.

Also, starting to talk a little bit about

it, I would like you to take a

look at what appears just below all the

faces of the images.

As you can see, a line and a

dot appear.

If we go a second to the face

or body of Pascale's boyfriend, what it is

telling us is that the gray line, because

they have different colors, as you are seeing,

the gray line is telling us that Pascale's

eyes are open to 84%.

But be careful, the focus of her face

is only at 29%.

As you can see, if we go, for

example, to my face, what you are seeing

is that or what it is telling us

is that my eyes are open at 92

% and the focus of my face is

at 86%, which is perfect.

If we go to the left of the

whole image, notice that the woman we have

here is completely dark, we cannot see her

face, and as it is logical, it is

telling us that she does not read eyes

and that the focus is only at 1%.

If, for example, we look at the woman

on the right, as she is turning her

back on us, she does not read any

face, so she is not sending us any

data.

As I say, it works quite well, and

look, for example, at this image in which

it is telling us, not only Pascale, that

her eyes are open at 99%, in addition

to the focus being at 85%, but look,

for example, in the face of the boyfriend,

it is also telling us that it is

completely focused.

Therefore, this program no longer only reads the

faces of adult people, but also, for example,

how you are seeing the baby.

When it comes to understanding the program, it

is really super simple and the keyboard shortcuts

are understood or you get to them in

an incredible and super simple way.

If we press, for example, the spacebar, it

is the zoom, and it will direct it

directly to the center of the image, as

you are seeing, and if we press again,

as you are seeing, it is seen again

in the normal image.

If now, for example, we press the dot

key, what it will show us are all

faces separately, which is really interesting.

If we press the spacebar again, and also

what we press the arrows up or down,

it will pass in a super fast way

through all the faces that appear in the

image.

In addition, the images that I have selected

to prepare this video are RAWs, and they

are the RAWs that I have not retouched

or that I have not edited, I mean,

I have not even applied the focus mask

or clarity so that the image, in quotation

marks, would stand out more.

Therefore, this program reads everything perfectly.

In addition, if we go to images like

this, in which, as you are seeing, the

light is quite complex, and it is already

telling us how everything is.

Well, it is telling us to be careful,

that Pascal's face is only focused 29%, his

eyes 76%, and as you are seeing, the

focus was clearly to the center, instead of

going to the right, with which this will

help us to correct or help us to

work a little, to know how we should

work so that our images are, as God

commands, focused and well.

I would also like, for example, to go

to this image, a group image, in which

we can select with the padlock or block

the bride's face.

Once we have blocked the bride's face, we

are telling the program that she is the

protagonist.

But be careful, if we now go down

to the next image, the program continues to

keep the bride as the protagonist, because, as

I say, it is a program that is

based on artificial intelligence and already knows who,

in this case, because we have indicated the

protagonist.

And it is also telling us that her

eyes are open, but be careful that the

focus does not end up working.

And if we go down, it continues to

show us, for example, the image of the

bride, and in this case, as you are

seeing, it is telling us how it is

focused, for example, the bride, who is telling

us that her eyes are 100% open

and the focus is more or less close.

And also, with the I key, we are

going to know everything about the metadata, what

type of camera was used, the resolution, the

time it was taken, the lens that we

use, the ISO, well, everything.

As I had told you, the images that

I have prepared are simple rows, and what

you can see is that, although they are

rows, the good thing about this program is

that it really works as fast as Photomechanic.

We can go through all the images and

it goes super fast.

Look at how this damn program works, it

even reads all the faces we have there.

Look at this lady we have down here,

in which she is telling us, in red,

that her eyes are completely closed, but she

is telling us that she is completely focused.

In the case, for example, of Pascale, what

we can see is that, well, he is

completely focused and his eyes are completely open,

so this formula of lines and dots with

different types of colors will work quite well

for us.

At the moment we are doing, for example,

a pose, as you are seeing, it is

indicating that Pascale's eyes are working, or they

are open to 50%, but as it is

logical, the image is still focused almost 100

% in the case, for example, of Pascale.

I would also like to tell you that,

as in Lightroom, or as in Bridge, or

in other programs, you can select or you

can mark your images with stars, from 1

to 5, and then you can, for example,

mark or select with different types of colors,

red, yellow, green, blue, purple.

For example, in my case, the images that

I like, for example, I mark them with,

for example, let's go to this one, with

number 6, I simply mark it in red.

Of course, I am not that kind of

person who marks each photo with a different

type of color, but the photo that I

like, I mark it in red, and the

photo that I don't like, I just don't

select it.

Once I have selected a few, for example,

this one, and some more that you have

seen, what I am going to do, directly,

notice that above, in the upper right part,

there is a key called Ship, we simply

mark it, sorry, and the images will be

sent to Lightroom, and it will place them

here, and directly, as I say, we will

import them, and we will start editing them,

the ones that we have marked and selected.

As you can see, here we have them,

we would simply have to import them, but

that is another story, and we would enter

another program.

trial version, and it is totally free.

The truth is that a couple of days

ago it made me a little crazy, and
