she misses Liam.

let alone weeks.

It seems painfully clear.

Kelly and Phoebe need their dad.

>> Wyatt: I know that this has been terrible for both of you,

especially after losing Beth and everything.

But at the same time, you got to admit how brave

Hope has been.

Like, she -- she has done everything to put her life back

together and -- and move on.

>> Liam: Yeah.

>> Wyatt: And you got to see how much that effort has been

costing her.

But I can't imagine how difficult it is for you,

seeing your wife struggle, and then on top of your own

grief...

>> Liam: Yeah.

You know, I-I'll be honest, it's, um...

It's been hell.

Hope and I are starting to take a step forward, you know what I

And I -- and I can't tell you how much it means to me

that we were able to reconnect in a physical sense.

I think that tells me that Hope is looking to the future.

I was beginning to think that Hope and I would never heal

from losing Beth.

I mean, obviously we're always gonna grieve for our daughter,

but -- but for the first time since Beth, it -- it seems like

Hope may be open to starting a family someday.

>> Thomas: I know what it's like to grow up without a father.

>> Hope: So do I.

Deacon wasn't even around until I was grown, and even then...

>> Thomas: It's -- it's tough as an adult.

But it's much harder as a kid.

You told me how you felt about keeping Liam from his family,

taking off your ring and telling him to go be with

Steffy and the girls.

I think you're right.

We know where he belongs.

Who needs him most.

>> Sally: You do have a point.

>> Quinn: Oh, well, that's good.

I can help you pack up the rest of your things if you need help.

>> Sally: No, I meant the one about me doing better.

Yes, I have come a long way since the first time I saw Wyatt

at Bikini, and, yes, I can 100% afford my own place.

He's guided me, and he's never steered me wrong.

supportive of Hope, but I know you, and -- and I know

you're torn.

Kelly's your daughter, Phoebe might as well be...

>> Liam: I know -- I know where you're going with this.

And you're not wrong.

I-I do miss the girls like crazy.

>> Wyatt: Of course you do.

You have a family with Steffy, and right now, they're all in

Paris without you.

I mean, there's got to be a part of you that wants

to be there, too.

>> Liam: I mean, you know, I call them every day, and we do

the video-chat thing.

But it's just... [ Sighs ] It's not the same, you know?

And, honestly, Steffy's been gone a little longer than I

expected.

And I-I know this is totally irrational, but I worry, like,

what if they forget me?

>> Wyatt: What?

Well, look, maybe -- maybe it's time for you

to take a trip.

>> Liam: No. I just -- See, I can't do that.

I can't leave Hope when she's so vulnerable.

>> Wyatt: She's not gonna be alone or anything.

Sally and I will be here to check on her.

So is Thomas.

keep an eye on her.

I don't know. Maybe -- Maybe a trip to Paris is

something you should consider.

[ Kelly babbles, Phoebe cries ] Yeah. That is her.

I miss her so much.

girls.

This is about those two precious little girls who need their dad.

Steffy.

And they were gonna be sisters in every sense of the word.

But, tragically, we lost Beth.

But there are still two precious little girls

that need Liam.

You put your relationship with your father and your future at

She took this beautiful gift that you offered her and she

threw it right in your face.

>> Wyatt: [ Huffs ] >> Quinn: He's not gonna tell

you, but he was hurt and disappointed by your choices.

>> Wyatt: You know what, Mom -- Mom.

Kelly and Phoebe are his nieces.

And we all want what's best for them.

Look, I am not even Kelly and Phoebe's mother, and I miss them

something awful.

So you have to be missing them so much more.

>> Hope: Okay.

So you should go to them.

you've been hesitant to leave me, because I have been in such

a-a fragile state ever since we lost Beth.

[ Chuckles ] It's kind of crazy.

I-I actually was just telling Wyatt how much I miss the girls.

And -- and they do go through a lot of changes at this age...

>> Hope: I know.

And so you don't want to miss that.

I mean, that is time that you can't get back.

>> Thomas: I can have them hold the jet for you.

>> Hope: Liam, go.

You're gonna be with the girls before you know it,

tucking them into bed by tomorrow night.

I believe her when she says that she's doing better, but

you -- you got to know, Hope's been through something

have noticed that she does a lot better when Douglas is around.

So maybe -- maybe you bring him by once in a while,

spend some time together.

>> Thomas: I think we can work something out.

And for what it's worth, uh, I think you're making the right

I know Amelia and my mom are in Paris with Steffy, but those

little girls need you.

And -- and don't worry about Hope.

She's in good hands.
