are leaving Los Angeles

and flying across
the Pacific Ocean

to the neon city of Hong Kong,

home to more than

7.5 million people.

Once they've touched down,
teams will take a taxi

and then climb
hundreds of steps

to pick up their first clue
under the watchful eye

of this enormous bronze Buddha.

a Fork in the Road.

When they get here,
teams have to decide

which route they want to take
to the Pit Stop.

Only seven teams
can go in either direction,

creating a parallel race
all the way to the mat.

A 14-team race will become

two parallel seven-team races

where two teams
will be eliminated.

to pass the national board exa.

and intricate makeup.

On the Sing route,

after being made up
and dressing for the occasion,

teams must learn how to perform

and sing lines

from a Cantonese opera.

Coming up
with the right movement

and proper pronunciation
could be overwhelming.

But if they can act the part,

they'll be rewarded with a clue

and can go to the Pit Stop.

On the Dance route,

teams must bring a lion to life

by learning
a choreographed routine.

Once Master So says
that they're in sync,

he'll hand them a clue,
sending them to the Pit stop.
