infested with the creatures.

the foot of the door.

Yet, when I startled it,
the rat didn't use that.

It disappeared, nonetheless.

I knew, then, however small,

there had to be another means
by which they could enter

and leave my cell.

In due course, I found it.

Next, I caught one.

rather interesting.
