=Episode 3=

Young Master Lin, this way, please.

- Young Master Lin. - Yes, it's him.

Young Master Lin.

Let's go and take a look.

Okay.

Shaoci.

Young Master Lin.

Right, Brother Shaoci,

look!

Sister Rong is fine

and well.

You can rest assured.

Young Master Lin, you're a natural born with affection.

I'm really impressed.

You take Thirteen Lady of Tang family with you you're on business.

Even Yu Linglong, Twin Autumn Swords,

is willing to work for you.

You are really something.

What's it got to do with you?

If it wasn't for the rules of Ruthless Parlor,

I'd get rid of you right now.

My pleasure.

You...

What's going on? Let's take a look.

Leader Shen,

it's an honor to meet you at last.

Young Master Lin,

nice to meet you.

Who do you think would win in a fight

between these two?

Young Master isn't as good as you,

but you're a good match for Shen Zuitian.

Of course

that's before you got hurt.

I used to be so good?

Do I rank in some kind of martial ranking or something?

You were ranked fifth.

Gosh.

I'm a loser now.

As the leader of the Ghost Valley Sect,

you set up a trap to take away a woman

while my dad and I were out on business.

What kind of morality is that?

The Ghost Valley Sect has always done whatever we want,

and we don't care about morality.

Fuxian treasure has been taken over by Yuchi Manor.

Did you ask the heroes of the world

if they would agree?

Of course not.

False rumors

are not to be trusted.

There's no smoke

- without fire. - Yes.

Yes, hand over the key!

What keys? There's no such thing.

Okay.

I'll get the answer

when I've invaded Yuchi Manor.

Come on. Come here.

Come on. Let's go.

Go.

Come on, Hero.

Rong Shukuang.

Mis... Mister.

Don't be angry.

I'm sorry to disturb you.

Let's go.

They've left?

What did you just throw?

It doesn't matter.

What are you trying to say by pulling me away

from Lin Shaoci?

I... I want you

to go back to Yuchi Manor with me.

Young Master Lin is here.

Why do I have to go with you?

I need you.

Why?

I'm confused.

I don't remember anything.

That's the top manor in the martial world.

If I go back there like this,

without knowing anything and without martial arts skills,

it's not going to work.

You think it's dangerous?

Why?

A woman's intuition

is very accurate.

I've been rejected for marriage

by Young Master Lin.

I don't know who I can trust and who I can't trust

in the manor.

Besides, Ghost Valley Sect

will attack the manor soon.

It's going to be very dangerous.

You've thought of everything.

So

I need someone I can trust

to follow me,

to protect me, and to help me.

Why do you think I'm trustworthy?

There's still

something about you that I can't figure out,

but

my instincts tell me

you won't hurt me.

Your martial arts skills look good too.

You'll be a good bodyguard for sure.

One thousand gold.

Okay.

Every month.

Every...

You think I'm going back to my inheritance?

Why don't you just marry me

and live with me?

It would be easier for me to marry the second young lady

of the manor, Lin Wanci.

You still have this idea?

As a martial arts hero,

shouldn't you be an upright gentleman?

All humans have lust.

How am I not upright?

Fine.

I'm on my own.

I'm on...

Well... I will...

be going...

Five hundred.

Deal.

Let's go.

Young Master Lin,

Yuchi Manor has a big appetite, huh?

For the legendary Fuxian treasure,

you want to take it all for yourselves?

Yes.

Back then, Yuchi Manor

persuaded everyone in the martial world

to stop searching for the treasure,

saying that the Fang Clan had no descendants left.

Unexpectedly,

it was to get the key to the treasure for yourselves.

That's a brilliant plan of Master Lin.

What treasure? What key?

It's a groundless accusation.

There's no such thing.

Guys,

do you believe that?

Of course not.

Of course we don't believe it.

Guys,

Yuchi Manor has always been open and honest.

We don't hide any treasure.

Don't believe the rumors.

Young Master Lin,

whether or not the people in Ruthless Parlor believe you

is not important.

The top manor in the world

has long been a target for everyone.

It's important to make everyone in the martial world believe in you.

Or...

Or what?

There'll be no peace

at Yuchi Manor.

Young Master Lin.

How dare you try anything in Ruthless Parlor?

Yeah.

Young Master Lin,

don't forget

that this is Ruthless Parlor.

We can only fight over wine, not physically.

Young Master Lin,

Shukuang has been waiting for you upstairs for a long time.

Who is this?

Where is Shukuang?

I haven't seen you for a few days.

You've lost a lot of weight.

(Have I lost that much weight?)

(This person knows me very well.)

Yuchi Manor will always

remember the kindness of your help.

Don't mention it, Young Master Lin.

Yan Shao,

Shukuang and I haven't seen each other for a long time,

and I'd like to talk to her alone.

Young Master Lin...

What?

How can we be so distant?

You don't even call me Shaoci?

Shaoci,

Yan Shao is my bodyguard.

But you've always been a loner.

Wasn't I

injured by Shen Zuitian's

Mystic Ice Jade Palm?

I've lost all my martial arts skills.

Naturally, I don't feel safe.

When we get back to Yuchi Manor,

I'll get you the best doctors

to heal you and help you recover your strength as soon as possible.

Yan Shao has already treated me.

Shaoci,

I've decided

to ask Yan Shao to be my bodyguard.

He... He will protect me.

If that's the case,

Yan Shao, please return

to Yuchi Manor with us.

Shen Zuitian is right downstairs

and won't move an inch.

What's your plan, Young Master Lin?

The disciples of Yuchi Manor

are on their way.

Shen Zuitian can't do anything alone.

There are so many of us,

why don't we just rush out?

There are people from Ghost Valley Sect all over outside.

We need to come up with a good plan.

The people who you asked me to watch

are preparing to leave Ruthless Parlor.

They say those in Ruthless Parlor are ruthless.

People may be ruthless,

but gold

never lies.

Gold is always the most sensible.

Am I right, Boss Jin?

That's so generous of you.

It's the same if someone pays for information

about you.

It's all business.

(Ruthless Parlor)

Just sleep.

I won't hurt you.

People are bad, but dogs are good.

Just sleep.

It's all about money in Ruthless Parlor. It's so good.

Take her away first.

Rong Shukuang

won't hide behind Lin Shaoci.

Rong Shukuang,

come out!

Coming.

I'm coming.

Sister Rong.

Lie!

Shen Zuitian,

let us go now

or

I'll kill Lie.

Let go of Lie.

Yingluo,

come here.

One more step forward

and I'll kill it right now and make soup out of it.

Let's go.

Leader Shen!

Leader Shen,

our barriers in the desert

have been attacked.

Who were they?

A man and a woman.

They brought a few experts with them,

but we couldn't beat them.

Looks like they're from Tiangang.

Let's take care of Tiangang's men first

and then come back to deal with them.

Yes.

How is it?

My trick of getting away with Lie

was a good one, wasn't it?

When did you learn so many tricks?

We were at the end of our tether.

I had to be smart about it.

Rong Shukuang,

you've learned a lot

of cunning tricks lately, huh?

Sister Rong, you're amazing.

You're much smarter than before.

My hostage...

My dog hostage.

A dog is no threat to Shen Zuitian.

Let it go.

Ghost Valley Sect has a lot of men.

Sooner or later, they'll catch up.

They won't catch up again.

Why?

Sit down.

I've marked the locations of Ghost Valley Sect's barriers

along the way.

Gather some men

to get rid of them.

Didn't you save the person

and bring her to Ruthless Parlor?

We've already finished the task.

Not yet.

It's not a good idea to stay here for long.

Let's go.

A little further on,

our men will be there to meet us.

By the way,

why did Yu leave without saying anything?

She's really weird.

She always comes and goes as she pleases.

And she didn't want me to say thanks to her,

so she left first.

Brother Shaoci, you really know her well.

I really envy Yu.

(Favorable Weather)

Yuchi Manor?

Have you memorized the characteristics

of the four hall masters that I taught you yesterday?

Why is she still following us?

Tang Clan's experts specialize in eliminating poisons.

Young Master Lin keeps her

to help you with your cold poison.

You're all I need.

I don't need anyone else.

Father.

Master Lin.

Father.

It's good that you're back.

Young Lady Rong.

Who is this?

This is Yan Shao.

My bodyguard.

Master Lin.

Yan Shao has helped us a lot along the way.

Is it because you've been traveling hard these past few days

that you're too fatigued?

It's the cold poison attack.

This is Heart Protector Pill. It can protect her heart's vascular system

to keep the poison from attacking her heart and lungs.

But someone needs to dispel the cold poison with internal energy.

- I will do it. - Let me do it.

Yan Shao, please help Sister Rong to heal.

Young Master Lin, go and stand guard

in case Ghost Valley Sect comes after us.

Don't worry.

Yan Shao won't hurt Sister Rong.

I don't know him after all.

Besides,

I think there's something wrong with him.

Moreover,

I didn't expect Mystic Ice Jade Palm to be so fatal.

The cold poison is persistent and difficult to abate.

Ghost Valley Sect seldom comes here.

I don't know much about this palm technique either.

I have to go back and read more medical books.

She's awake.

Sister Rong.

What just happened to me?

You probably had an attack of cold poison and fainted.

It was Yan Shao who saved you.

Thank you.

Yan Shao,

I'm not wary of you.

It's just that I don't know anything about you,

so I've got to be on my guard.

Whether you're wary or trust me

is none of my business.

I'm Rong Shukuang's bodyguard,

not one of Yuchi Manor's men.

Since you're from the martial world,

please come in.

Thank you.

Liu An,

take care of Rong.

Yes, Master Lin.

Why is Wanci not here?

Perhaps

she can't be here.

She can't be here?

(Boardroom)

Shukuang,

you were injured by Shen Zuitian

but you don't have to worry.

Recuperate well.

Miss Tang and Wanci are here.

You'll get better with time.

Yes.

I'll go and check the medical books

with Wanci.

Sister Rong, don't worry.

I'll help you get rid of the cold poison.

Yan Shao can help me with this.

Yan Shao, you've saved my daughter

and brought her back.

You've done Yuchi Manor a favor.

I can't thank you enough.

Don't mention it.

You're too kind, Master Lin.

You're the benefactor of Yuchi Manor.

Shaoci, arrange

for a big reward

and a few days of warm hospitality for Yan Shao.

Father,

Yan Shao is my bodyguard.

I'd like him to stay in the manor.

Don't worry.

I'll arrange for someone to protect you.

Here's the thing.

I think there's something fishy about me being taken

by the Ghost Valley Sect.

It's possible that someone in the manor

is colluding with the Ghost Valley Sect.

Hence,

I think it's better to have a stranger

by my side.

Yan Shao,

Shukuang wants to keep you as her bodyguard.

It's really too much to ask. Forgive us for requesting this.

I'm grateful for Young Lady Rong's honor,

so I'll do as I'm told.

Shaoci,

Miss Tang must be tired too.

Go and arrange for her to get settled.

Yes.

Master Lin, Young Lady Wanci has fainted again.

Wanci.

Father.

If you didn't come,

you'd never see me again.

If I don't come,

you're going to get sick.

Enough. Stop pretending.

Don't I know

what's wrong with you?

I just think

you're so busy you've forgotten about me.

Wanci,

I have to keep an eye on everything

inside and outside the manor.

When I don't come here often enough,

you get angry with me.

You're biased.

You think I'm not important

and won't let me go out.

It's not that you're not important,

but you've been weak since you were little.

The doctor said you shouldn't move around.

Be obedient.

Stay in your room and rest.

Come on. Stop being so grumpy.

Your sister is back.

Shukuang.

Shukuang, have you forgotten

that you used to pinch my purlicue

every time I had a bad cough?

That made me feel better.

I feel better now.

You still love me the most.

It's been a long time

since you two were so close.

Shukuang's had some rough days.

Don't pester her.

Let her go back to her room and rest.

Okay.

Let's go, Shukuang.

Please visit me often with Father.

Shukuang,

come with me to the study first.

(Is there really a secret room)

(like in the TV show?)

(Well, with this plot,)

(when we get in there,)

(you're going to have to tell me some secrets.)

I promised your mother

I wouldn't tell you this secret,

but you found out after all.

You were too young when I brought you back

to the manor.

After a serious illness,

you couldn't remember a lot of things.

I wanted

to tell you about the past,

but I was afraid you'd act impulsively.

Mother,

I'm back.

You don't have to worry about me.

Father,

I'm ready.

Please say it.

I won't act on impulse.

Back then, me, your mother, Su Shiyu,

Shaoci's and Wanci's mother, Rong Li,

and my senior brother, Chu Moxiong,

were under the same master.

Then Shiyu married into the Fang family,

and I brought Li back to the manor

to take over the position of Master.

Not long after,

we received a message from Shiyu

that the Fangs were being chased and killed.

So the three of us rushed to rescue them.

It was only then that we learned

that the Fang family was once a fallen royal family

who had been guarding

the key and map to the Fuxian treasure for generations.

But the news

- was spread by someone, - Fuxian treasure...

attracting a lot of hunters from the martial world.

We were late.

Your father was killed on the way.

So the three of us agreed

to settle you, your mother and the Fang family's guards

in a secluded mountain village.

I remember it was called

(Misty Moon Village) Misty Moon Village.

Misty Moon Village?

But I didn't expect

someone to find Misty Moon Village

where you lived

when you were five years old.

By the time I got the message from Shiyu

and arrived there,

you were the only one left in the village.

So I brought you back to Yuchi Manor.

In order to conceal your identity,

I let you take Li's surname

and claimed you were the daughter of Li's cousin.

Do you remember

how you were injured and taken away

by Shen Zuitian?

My head hurts.

Yes.

You've suffered a lot these days.

Get well first.

We'll talk about this

when you're better.

You're right, Father.

Well, I...

Go ahead.

(Lingering of Music and Reading)

That's a lot of information.

In ancient times, my last name is Fang.

In modern times, my last name is also Fang.

My name is Fang Yi.

The ancient me wouldn't be called Fang Yi, would it?

Isn't this

the other me in a parallel dimension?

(This mansion)

(is better than the one)

(I'm renting outside the East 5th Ring.)

(Since I've decided to stay,)

(I'll pretend all the way through and I can't get caught.)

My books haven't been touched?

(This doesn't look like a young lady's room.)

(Is this a man's room?)

Is there any problem, Young Lady Rong?

Young Lady Rong's cold poison hasn't kicked in yet,

but there seems to be a change in her temperament

and style of behavior.

Even her appetite

is different from before.

After so many days in the desert,

my skin is too dry.

Bring me some skin care products,

jasmine-scented.

You never used these things.

You rarely even looked in the mirror.

Yingluo made me use it.

You've always called her Miss Tang.

When did you become so close to her?

We've been through thick and thin,

so we're close.

My skin is so dry.

I must have a spa treatment.

Young Lady Rong, what "pa"?

Nothing.

By the way, where's all my money?

We'll take care of everything if you ask us.

You don't have to pay for it.

Okay.

And bring me something to eat.

More vegetables.

I'd like to have a slim waist.

Some fruits too.

Young Lady Rong has always loved meat,

especially dried meat.

I've been eating too much meat in the desert.

It's made me heaty.

It's normal for her

to have a change of temper after a serious injury.

Just tell me

what Shukuang needs.

She suffered a lot at the hands of Ghost Valley Sect.

I wonder when the cold poison of Mystic Ice Jade Palm

will be lifted

and when she can recover her martial arts.

Yingluo said she'll do her best.

I'll ask her to work with you to figure it out.

Okay.

Young Lady Rong

and the guard she brought back, Yan Shao,

seem to have an unusual relationship.

She seems to be a different person

when talking to him.

Look at the girl behind me.

She seems to be strange.

Since I promised to protect you,

I'll do my best.

But you have to be careful with your words

and take precautions.

Are you saying that someone here will harm me?

Because of the treasure,

Yuchi Manor has become a target.

You must be careful both inside and outside the manor.

Teach me some martial arts.

You need to eat, sleep and go to the toilet.

If I'm in danger while you're pooping,

I need to be able to fight back.

Nonsense!

You need to poo.

You don't poo?

If not, you'll die of holding it back, won't you?

Teach me.

Yan Shao is very secretive

and we don't know his background,

so we can't be completely at ease.

Wanci,

you're familiar with the origins and moves of those martial artists.

I'll leave it to you to find out more about him.

I got it.
