I am a material handler for the United States Forest Service.

We supply the firefighters.

From the water hoses to the tools,

the clothes that they wear,

we're pretty much their grocery store, their Home Depot.

It means more to know that I'm an asset to a first responder,

I'm an asset to making sure

that these people's lives are saved in these disasters.

I just want to give a special shout-out

to the firefighters in L.A.,

fighting these fires on the front line,

risking their lives to make sure our homes

and our livelihood is protected.

I love the job for two reasons.

One, they've allowed me to still chase a dream,

and, two, it came at a time

when I needed one, becoming a father.

I became a father at 26 years old.

I was scared at first

because just the stereotype I grew up in was,

I was just scared -- until he got here.

I'm sitting here with my son.

Just graduated kindergarten.

He's 6 years old.

He's the reason why I want this

even more than I did when I was doing it before him.

I got to be a voice for him before I'm a voice for anybody.

For the blind auditions, I will be singing

The song is about operating on a level of love

and expressing it with no limits.

with my son at the forefront of my mind.

There's nothing I wouldn't do for him.

and it reminded me of him.

This is such a cool way to sing Luther,

because Luther was so, like, silky,

and your voice has got that grit to it,

and I thought it was the perfect way to interpret that song.

I'm 19 years old, and I'm from Redwater, Texas.

Redwater is definitely really small.

We have one gas station -- we call it the country store --

and there's one stoplight total. [ Chuckles ]

Growing up, I definitely felt a little unsure of myself.

I kind of realized my sisters have blonde hair

and light-colored eyes, and I don't look like them.

It was never a secret that Hailey has a different dad.

When she got older, we were able to explain, like, you know,

"You have a different biological dad."

Hailey: After, wanting to know more about who I am,

I sat down with my mom

to trace back my biological father's bloodline.

We found that my great grandmother is

full-blood Choctaw.

Once I learned that I was Native American, I was really proud.

I learned a little bit about, you know,

growing your hair out and how we only cut it

during a time of mourning.

Discovering my tribe has definitely filled

a missing spot in my life.

I love getting to be around elders and hearing the stories.

Hailey has worked her rear end off.

because he raised me, and I'm --

I'm 33 years old, and I'm from Baltimore, Maryland.

I was 21 when I got my first face tat,

and life has been fun since then, so [chuckles]

Like, I get it, people see me, and they always think,

"He's up to no good," but, really, I'm not.

All of my face tats are musical influence.

It's just my style.

These tattoos are really tattooed on my heart

because without music, I don't know who I would be.

I'm a kid from Baltimore. Like, I come from nothing.

It was tough, man.

When there's so much bad going on,

you kind of just fall into it.

I saw gang violence.

I saw the wrong things, like drug addiction,

just all types of stuff.

But then, thank God for my teacher.

Like, he saved my life.

I remember I was in high school and he introduced me to choir

and that's when my life changed.

He really nurtured my musicianship

and just showed me the right way.

I thank God for that man.

I first discovered opera junior year.

My teacher was like,

I'm like, "Oh, yeah?" [ Vocalizes ]

I've actually grown up singing in church.

After church, I went to classical opera.

I come from an extremely musical family.

My parents met in a band. My dad was the guitar player,

saxophone player. My mom was the singer.

My sister joined the band when she could talk,

and then I joined the band when I could talk.

We would do churches, private gigs,

wedding receptions, music festivals.

pretty much everywhere in West Tennessee,

I think we've played.

My dad and I had a very special bond.

My favorite thing that he taught me was guitar.

I would go into his bedroom,

we would sit down together, and he was very patient.

It was the second day of my senior year of high school.

My dad had a massive heart attack,

and it was just too much blockage

for him to make a full recovery.

It was weird 'cause I knew that I had to keep doing things

and, like, going on with my life,

but it felt like my life was over.

I went out in the backyard and pulled out his guitar,

and I was like,

"I'm just gonna sit down and play for a second."

And this, like, huge butterfly landed on the neck of the guitar

and just sat there with me.

And now, to this day, when I see a butterfly,

I always think of him.

If my dad knew I were here at "The Voice,"

he would be extremely proud of me.

This is the biggest thing I've ever done in my career,

and I've done music since I was a little girl.

Win or lose, I still love you guys.

I am originally from Dallas, Texas,

currently living in Los Angeles,

and I'm celebrating the 10th anniversary of my 24th birthday.

Growing up, music was just always a part of my life.

I would sing to them.

I was 16 when I first started singing with a jazz band.

It was a bunch of high-school kids.

We would play every Sunday.

That was my first regular gig.

I was in college when I auditioned

for Postmodern Jukebox.

It's a collective that plays covers of contemporary songs

you'll hear on the radio, but they do it in a jazz style.

With Postmodern Jukebox,

I was so blessed to be able to tour the world.

This is a huge opportunity.

I mean, I've been singing my whole life.

I've been performing for 15 years,

and the grind of being an independent artist is crazy.

The fact that I've kept at it.

It's definitely led me to this moment.

Being on stage, I feel like it's my purpose in life,

truly, is to tell stories.

Two beautiful baby girls. They were born prematurely.

Um, they had some health issues.

One of my girls actually had to be resuscitated,

so the experience alone was very traumatic, to say the least,

and, um, I'm just thankful that they're here.

My fiancé has been my rock during all of this.

While I'm here, he's there taking care of our twins.

Just wanted to make this video and let you know

that I love you, and I'm very proud of you.

You're showing everyone that you can be

the best mommy in the world and still chase your dreams.

Kaiya: Kenny came into my life at a time

where I kind of had slowed down doing music,

just due to life taking over.

He was just always on me, like, you know,

"You still can do this. You still got it."

He's just always just been in my corner.

I honestly couldn't ask for a better partner.

My kids mean everything to me, and being out here

and having to be away from my babies is just, you know, a lot.

But I've realized that this opportunity is also something

that can help them as they get older.

Yes, the voice is what matters here,

so I'm not gonna do too much movement.

I actually cannot believe

that I'm getting this opportunity to sing

for these coaches because I'm not a singer first.

You've always loved to dance.

He danced at the church because that was his passion.

I backed him up. I told him, whatever

you decide you want to do, I'm here for you.

I first started falling in love with dancing

at about nine years old.

My mom was like, "You know you want to dance?

Let's get you in dance classes. Let's get you in ballet.

Let's get you in tap."

I was dancing well over a decade.

The highlight of my dancing career

was dancing background for Missy Elliott and Trina.

My big dream is to be an overall entertainer,

and when I was about 23 years old,

I wanted to really start singing.

I was like, I might be able to do this.

And I just fell in love with it more and more each day,

and it just became something that was second nature.

About 2016, I packed everything up and I went to LA.

When you get around a lot of talented people,

it is very hard to sometimes not second guess yourself.

And it kind of put me in a depression.

I couldn't get up. I didn't want to do anything.

I was second guessing everything I did,

even if it wasn't singing,

I would not be sitting on this couch if it was not for you,

because you already know, when I started, a lot of people

didn't even believe I could make it this far.

But you always said, "Go. You can do it."

You can do it. "You were destined for this."

I sometimes can't find words to describe my love for my mother.

I always think like, am I going to be able to repay her?

You know, am I going to be able to give her what she's given me?

I've worked as a sheriff's deputy in the Raleigh area

for the last six years.

My whole job is to serve warrants,

anything from people missing court on a speeding ticket

to violent felonies.

It's a beautiful North Carolina morning.

Figured I'd give you a little look into my daily office.

This is where I call home most every day.

My job in law enforcement comes with its share of risk.

In 2022, I lost a friend in the line of duty.

He was a coworker of mine.

We went through the academy together.

His death was a very sobering moment.

That day has definitely changed me as a person,

our family. We make sure

that we try to live every single day to the fullest.

Music has always been something that I did as a hobby,

and I don't want to let another day go by

without taking the opportunity to pursue music.

but unfortunately, I've retired from

My name is Elliott Fleetwood.

I'm 25 years old, and I'm from Niagara Falls, New York.

Living in Niagara Falls, there's never a shortage of beauty.

The falls itself is almost 200 feet tall.

Tourists from around the world come every day to see it,

and it's just in our backyard,

so it's pretty mind blowing, honestly.

Niagara falls holds a very special place in my heart.

It's actually the place where I first told

Elliott that I loved him.

Our story really started there.

I met Alexandria in the summer of 2016.

The first time I saw her, I knew that that was the person

that I was going to end up with for the rest of my life.

Eight years later and now we're married.

I get a loss of words when I think about it,

just because of how lucky I really am.

My genre of music would be indie rock 'n' roll.

Right now I'm currently playing

in a band called Letter to Elise.

We've just been gigging out as much as possible,

grinding away, trying to make this our lives.

And Alexandria, she's always in my corner,

sacrificing for me to chase my dreams.

Blinds here I come.

Getting to stay up late and watch "The Voice" was like...

Yeah, exactly. ...the best thing as a child growing up.

And here you are. And here we are. It's crazy.

Elliott: This is my first time ever doing music

as a solo artist.

It's a bit out of my comfort zone, but I'm excited.

I got to do it. I'm not sure."

I felt like there was some pitch stuff,

but I also think, having been plenty pitchy myself,

I felt like that might have just been technical stuff.

I'm just listening and I'm not watching you perform.

You're playing guitar, which obviously I love, too.

And this was the hardest non-push I've ever had.

Swear to you, man, you got to come back,

because I don't think this is gonna happen to you twice.

I just feel like there was a bit of a disconnect

between the material and your greatness.

I'm currently packing right now to go audition for "The Voice."

I remember watching "The Voice" when I was a little girl.

I can't believe it's been 27 seasons.

And I'm 22, which is kind of crazy.

I'm Lucia Flores-Wiseman.

I'm 22 years old, and I'm from Maple Valley, Washington.

I'm so excited to be on this season

because I've just graduated college

and now is the time for me to show the world who I am.

I am a daughter of an immigrant, a Mexican father,

and a white, blond, blue-eyed mother.

I love them. Yeah! Whoo!

My dad came to this country with very little,

and he has worked really hard his whole life.

Everything that he does is for me and my brother.

And so I really do want to make my dad proud.

He does so much for my family.

I really believe I won the lottery with my parents.

They saw that I loved music, and so we listened to.

everything that you can think of.

And that led me to Brandi Carlile.

Really blessed that she lives in my hometown.

At 16 years old, I had the honor to sing with Brandi Carlile.

That was so wonderful.

Gave me the confidence to keep on going with music.

If someone from my hometown can make it big,

then maybe I could, too.

I'm in L.A.

I'm so excited.

I am so ready to learn from these coaches.

For my blind audition,

I'm singing "La Llorona" by Angela Aguilar.

It makes me very proud

that Lucia is singing a song in Spanish

for her blind audition.

Those are her roots,

and she's also very proud to be Mexican.

It definitely can be a risk singing in Spanish.

I hope the coaches feel what I'm singing,

feel that loss and that love and that pain and find it unique.
