The dangers you'll face.

And the split-second decisions.

That will define you
will be met and decided.

By your hearts and minds.

You've been trained.

By the best in the world in procedure.

And tactics, But your
most valuable weapon.

Will always be the bond.

You share with your fellow officers.

And the empathy to the public.

You have sworn to protect.

The public enemies.

That will forge the heroes.

In this room.

Are as old as time.

If they were a street gang.

Or a mob crew,

They'd be called the seven deadly sins.

If they had mug shots,
they would be marked.

Greed, envy, lust, Sloth, pride, Wrath.

Know their ways and means.

Be on the lookout for them every hour.

Of every day.

And when you see them,

Go after them with everything you've got.

Today you are joining.

The greatest police department
in the world.
