PHIL: Previously on The Amazing Race:

10 teams continued racing through Cartagena, Colombia.

Erin faced her biggest fear.

Oh, I'm so claustrophobic.

(WHIMPERS)

Anything to get us out of here.

At the Detour, Tyler and Korey exploded to the front of the pack...

(SQUEALS AND LAUGHS)

Gracias! Gracias!

...while Zach and Rachel came up short.

13, 14... -Babe, we didn't do enough.

I'm so sorry, babe.

A Roadblock showdown for first place

ended with Brodie and Kurt on top.

You are team number one! (BOTH CHEER)

Let's go! -Whoo!

Meanwhile, last-place Darius and Cameron

couldn't complete their comeback...

I'm looking for the vendor. Her name is Adriana.

.. and their race came to an end.

You have been eliminated from the race.

OK. -Alright.

Nine teams remain. Who will be eliminated next?

Just a couple of dudes being bros.

Just a couple of bros being jocks.

Gracias.

Brodie and Kurt, you are team number one!

(BOTH CHEER)

Let's go! -Whoo!

I think we're definitely finding a rhythm

and we're hoping to continue that because we really want to

stay ahead of the pack.

There's been some teams that we haven't seen since leg one.

Hi, Phil!

You're still here. You've completed three legs.

I have to say, my dad carried me, literally,

through this leg of the race.

SCOTT: We're further back in the pack

but we have great expectations for today.

And I'm hoping we see Brodie and Kurt,

because some other contestants kind of hinted

that maybe he had, like, a crush or something,

and so I was like, "Oh. OK."

Blair's pretty cute. That's all I'm going to say.

Dude, Blair. Dude, got a crush on Blair.

There's a little showmance brewing.

Blair and Brodie are about to be the new couple of The Amazing Race.

Whoo!

"Fly over the jet stream on your way to Geneva..."

Switzerland?!

Brodie and Kurt will be the first to jet their way from South America

to Europe's most international city -

Geneva, Switzerland.

Located on the banks of Lake Geneva,

this 460ft-high jet stream is almost impossible to miss

and where teams will find their next clue.

Vamos al aeropuerto.

Oh, yes! Let's go.

We're going to Switzerland!

(BOTH WHOOP)

Switzerland!

It's going to be snowy, I hope!

Ooh, cab! Cab, cab, cab, cab!

I feel extremely confident.

Three legs in and we've finished in the top two.

KOREY: The reason I think we're doing so well

is we've been best friends for eight years.

You've got to have good communication

between you and your partner, and we've got that.

What do they speak in Switzerland?

Swiss?

Urgh... I don't know.

We're going to Switzerland! -Ahh!

Hold on, hold on."You must take the following flight to Geneva."

Oh, great. OK, let's go. Let's go, let's go.

Wow! We're all on the same flight.

Switzerland!

I taught hip-hop classes in Switzerland.

We know it is gonna be cold in Switzerland.

It's freezing in the winter in Switzerland.

We are so ready to leave the heat.

I'd like to have one good hair day on this journey.

I hope it snows. It could snow.

Oooh! -Cole...

From Alabama, we never see snow.

So, Geneva, that's where... there's good chocolate, right?

Swiss chocolate? -Is there?

We need the best seats at the front of the plane.

Hola, amigos. We're all on the same flight to Switzerland.

All nine teams back together!

Let's go.

Oh, my God! Blodie! -Oh, Blodie!

Let's not all get too excited now.

If we can get Brodie and Blair to meet...

.. aww, he'd be so happy.

He's got such a little crush.

Tyler wants to be the flower girl at the wedding.

Oh, my God!

I wonder if Scott will walk me down.

(LAUGHTER)

(CONTESTANTS CHATTER)

Oh, hello.

Oh, wow.

It's a reunion. -It's so good to see you.

Thanks. You too. -Hey, Scott. -Good to see you again.

Absolutely. Good too see you. -Haven't seen you in a while!

You guys got one? -God.

(CHUCKLES)

Yes. (WHOOPING)

Hey!

Ah. Great to see you all again.

Oh, photo! Do you want me to take it?

I don't know where Blair went.

It's always dangerous. -Blair... Oh, uh...

It's just Blair and Brodie talking.

He's trying to work his magic now.

Oh, wait. One more.

Oh, my gosh! -Smile!

I am smiling!

This is my smile!

I got to talk to Blair, finally.

I enjoy every racer's company, Blair included.

What is going on?

Hi, guys!

It's craziness in the airport right now. We met up with a bunch of fans.

(CROWD CHEERS)

Look at these girls freaking out.

(SQUEALING)

It's massive chaos here. Massive chaos.

We're headed to Switzerland!

We're in the group again.

We're all together for the first time since leg one,

so it's game time.

It's kind of back to survival of the fittest.

Adios, Colombia!

What country is Switzerland in?

What country is Switzerland in? -It is a country.

Oh, yeah, it is.

PHIL: All teams are now flying to Geneva, Switzerland.

That looks like the lake to me over there.

Yeah. Just follow the water.

There it is, babe. There's the fountain.

We've got to go to the other side of the river.

That's Zach and Rachel. -Come on, baby.

Do you see the rest of the group back there at the stop light?

We can catch them. -Green, green, green, green.

Come on.

This way.

I see it. We need to cross over here.

It's that fountain, so we're going to go here...

This way. -.. then go to the right.

Yeah. There it is.

Come on, Mama.

Water fountain! Oh, it's beautiful.

Jet of water. -Here it is, babe.

How do you get up there? -I think we walk out here.

Watch out, guys. -Careful.

Wow. This is beautiful. -Seriously.

It's slippery. It's slippery. Walk.

Here we go. -"Make your way on foot..."

"To Chocolats Rohr Geneve at rue d'Enfer in Geneva."

OK. Good job. -Let's go.

Whoo! Here we go.

Keep running? No!"Make your way on foot to Chocolats Rohr Geneve..."

D'Enfer Street.

To the right?

Do you girls know where to go?

No.

I say we just follow them.

OK. We might as well.

Wait, they're all running, Dad! If we can keep an eye on them...

Oh, I see it. Up here at this intersection.

This is it here. -I think it's left.

It is called Chocolats Rohr. -This is it.

Is it closed?

Rue d'Enfer. We're on the wrong street.

Oh. No, there's got to be a different entrance.

Oh, there it is. I think I see it.

Oh, jeez. We've got a whole pack behind us.

Oh, there, I see it, you guys. I see it.

The top one?

"You'll be admitted in the order you arrive." -We got here first!

We got here first! Oh! Mwah!

OK. So, they open at 10.

Aw. That makes me so happy.

Doing good, Mama. -You're doing so good, Cole.

Hey, hey, hey! You're missing it.

Hey! Mom.

Is it here?

It's a board. Run. It's a board. -It's a board?

It's a board! -Where?

Oh, my God. I ran right by that.

There's another. Follow the girls.

Did you find it? -Yeah. It's right around the corner.

It's down here. It's right here.

Thank you, Jesus! -Oh, my gosh.

Ty, grab one.

Five. Shoot. Man.

Seventh? Yeah, it's fine.

Tomorrow at 10.

Looks like we're spending the night.

(LAUGHS)

My God. We'll play catch-up tomorrow.

Daddy, come on! -You're doing good, guys.

OK. Daddy, we're number nine.

Oh! We're last. -Well, at least we're here.

OK, well, let's go and find a place to sleep.

Well, this is cute.

Oh, my goodness gracious!

Cuddle puddle! -Cuddle puddle right here!

So, we're in some basement, cave,

Knights of the Round Table sort of thing.

Tyler, you're not snuggling with us?

Who knows what'll happen in the night?

So... here we are.

'Blair' plus 'Brodie' equals 'Blodie'.

Blodie. Get it trending.

There was a little cuddling going on.

Yeah, I think it was the moment when two sleeping bags became one.

There's not non-interest.

I think he's a great guy.

It was nice to finally, you know, sit down and have a conversation.

And, you know, it was good. It was a good conversation.

Hashtag #blodie! (LAUGHS)

It's true love. -It's love.

Bonne chance, everyone. Bonne chance.

What's that? -Good luck.

BOTH: Bonjour!

Do you have something for us? -Yes.

Merci beaucoup.

Is this for us as well? -Yes.

OK, Detour - 'Work Bench' or 'Bench Work'.

Burnie and Ashley will be the first team who can assemble one of these

world-famous, precision-built Swiss Army Knives.

Or work out how many behinds can fit on this 240-year-old bench

that the people of Geneva claim

is the longest wooden bench in the world.

This just might be the most famous product produced in Switzerland.

Teams must make the best-selling model - the Spartan,

assembling 27 pieces by hand in an exact order.

This famous bench has been offering a comfortable seat to locals

since 1767.

And the question teams have to answer is...

.. how many people can sit on this bench at once?

If they can figure out the answer within the specified range,

they'll receive their next clue.

OK, let's do 'Bench Work'. Let's go. -'Bench Work'. OK.

I figured counting would be a lot easier.

We brought a clicker. We were fully prepared.

Let's go up here. -Oh, wow. How pretty is that?

BOTH: Oh!

Chocolat!

I think the 'Bench Work' would be faster.

'Bench Work'.

Oh, clue in the chocolate box.

'Work Bench' sounds awesome. Let's do a Swiss Army Knife.

There's only three stations, so we're hoping we get there first.

We chose 'Work Bench' because it's just building something,

and so far, we've built pretty good.

Yum, yum. -We're going to do 'Bench Work'.

Alright, we're going to do 'Bench Work'.

Wow! Can we eat our clue?

"Build a classic Swiss Army Knife"?

Yeah. -I think that sounds... fun.

We both grew up in the country.

I had a kit when I was younger,

so I knew I knew how to do it already.

And I have about eight knives at home.

Yeah! -That sounds bad, but...

.. it is what it is. -We're good with that kind of stuff.

Is this the street?

I don't know.

I'm going to ask. -Yeah.

Alright, we're going to do 'Work Bench'.

Let's just get there and knock this out and hopefully, you know,

make up a little bit of time on the other people.

Good luck, guys. -See you later.

Bonjour! -Bonjour.

Merci. -Merci.

Au revoir.

Can you sit and stand quickly, Dad? -No.

It seemed like putting something together

that was relatively technical

would be something that we could do,

but also something that would separate us from the pack.

What's the name of the place we're going? -Victorinox.

I think I might have got you one of their watches. -Yeah.

(PANTS) Let's go here. -Yeah.

Whoa! -Oh, wow!

It's a big bench.

"Take one copy of the local paper." OK.

Merci beaucoup. Merci.

Let me get my counter out. -The gloves are coming off.

The gloves are coming off.

Hey, that makes it sound really hardcore.

Let's go down here. -OK.

OK, so, do you think we can ask these people to get up

if we need to sit in their spot really quick?

Pardonnez-moi, messieurs.

Yeah, so we're going to be sliding down the bench.

Is there any way that we could ask you to move?

It's the world's biggest bench and we're gonna have to go

the whole way down the thing with newspaper.

Also a very popular bench, because there was people all along the way

and we had to explain to them, "We're coming through..."

We'll try to figure it out.

So, let's just go hand to hand. (LAUGHS)

(LAUGHS)

One of us has to be on the bench at all times, though. -Yeah.

Make sure we touch the...

Papers.

Messieurs?

Let's just say there's two dudes who are playing a chess game

who don't like us very much at all.

They thought we were lunatics.

I don't think it's the word they used, but that's a word.

Merci beaucoup. -Merci beaucoup.

(LAUGHS)

This might be it.

We're in Switzerland!

Yeah!

Here, do you think?

Here we go. -OK. Hello.

You are doing here the world-famous Spartan.

Oh, wow.

I mean, we are in Switzerland and we're building a Swiss Army Knife.

How cool is that? -Yeah.

You will do the whole knife here in this table.

It should be in here.

This is crazy!

It's a lot more detailed than we thought.

There's a lot of details here.

The thing about the Swiss Army Knives is that

they are like perfection.

Everything works perfectly, the machinery all fits together.

So, this one is next. -This is awesome.

Do you know which one that goes in?

No. Yeah, let's leave it for now. -OK.

Fine details. -Tyler, the three are the same.

Follow this instructions, though.

We were really focused.

The little details, we will pay attention to

and we will just get it done.

So, three of them were the same size and only one is small.

The other three are the same.

Cole.

Do you know how to get to promenade de la Treille?

Up? Up this way?

Is this the street?

I don't know. Let's ask them.

Sheri, what are you guys doing?

We're doing 'Bench Work'. -The bench.

We were trying to find the other

but we might have to switch to 'Bench Work'.

We're doing the other one and we think it's this way.

What do you want to do? -You want to switch?

OK.

Victorinox. -You ready?

Yup.

Daddy, we're the third team! We got this.

We were so surprised more people hadn't picked that one.

Thank you so much, by the way. This is so fun.

OK. Is this the right... is this the right road?

Should we go this way or this way? -This looks more direct.

Are you sure?

Let's just see what this street's called.

Good job. We've caught up with the first team.

Can we have a newspaper?

Monsieur, por fa..."Por favor"!

Thank you.

This is the ramp to the trail. -It's up here.

Thank you. -So we're at the end.

Remember your numbers, OK? Just the numbers.

That's all we've got to worry about. 73. Madame?

Pardonnez-moi, aussi... we...

OK, go ahead. -Merci beaucoup.

Merci beaucoup.

Have you been reading the paper? (LAUGHS)

Let's hurry it up. -Yeah, let's hurry it up.

91. 94. 98. 96. (GIGGLES)

Make sure your papers are square too.

17. -Excusez-moi.

Stop. Move over.

Sit on his lap. Sit on his lap!

Merci, merci.

Hey, do you guys have anything? -We don't know.

This is messed up with this thing. -Watch your strap.

OK, you have snot dripping down your nose.

Promenade de la Treille?

I think once we go down this way, Mom, we'll be able to find it.

Yeah, I think.

Let's just see where this leads us, I guess.

Promenade de la Treille? Ooh.

These look like they're going in different directions.

I don't even see the 'rue de Martre' on this map.

Do any of you guys speak English?

Shall we stop for a second? -Yeah.

Do you speak English? No English?

I don't see anything.

We don't even know if we're in the right place.

What do you want to do?

I really don't know where else we can run.

Dang!

Where is it? -I'm freaking out.

I have not seen marked newsstands.

Man. This sucks.

What the heck?!

If we just go down this way along the side of the park.

Look for a marked newspaper stand.

It should be... right up there.

Promenade de la Treille?

That part? -Oh, oh, oh! That's it!

That's it right over there! -And there are the girls.

Oh, my God, I see people doing it.

13.

14.

We want to go fast but we want to get right too.

Yeah. -But keeping count's hard.

Thank God for this counter.

OK, we're almost there, babe.

OK, this is it.

217.

OK, so we need... -217.

217. -OK, let's go tell the guy.

"Write your answer on the newspaper."

On the newspaper.

OK. (PANTS)

217.

No? -No?

It was very precise how you had to hold your paper.

Because it was such a long bench, if you had any variance,

it would just get so exaggerated by the end of the run.

So we can't guess again. We have to go.

We have to do it all over again.

Do it all over again. -OK.

Excusez-moi?

Thank you so much. Merci, merci.

Alright, guys, we didn't get the right number,

so can we join with you guys?

What was your number? -Where were you at? -217.

We're 56. -We're 52 here.

52. -So somebody's wrong already.

Let's just see. If one of us gets it right, then we're good.

Maybe we should start again. -Yeah.

I don't know what we did wrong, though.

There's a range and we weren't even in the range.

Everyone else is coming.

Almost there, Mama.

52. 3. 4. 56.

I think we're getting too close, Jos.

People don't read newspapers that close.

We have to start at the very beginning.

OK. Can we do this one?

Or this one?

It's got to be this one.

I think the total does matter.

It shouldn't be this hard.

See, we're getting these weird problems.

Just something is off. We shouldn't have to force anything.

It's kind of like Legos but way harder.

Oh, man.

Why do we always pick the hard Detours?

Pfff. Um, what do you want to do?

I want to figure out why it's not working.

OK. That needs to press.

There's a million little pieces.

We're just trying to line them up just right.

Good?

Now this piece - 8.

It was pretty much just a big puzzle.

I mean, everything had a piece

and nothing would work unless every piece was in place.

If you tried to fit it in, tried to make it work,

you were going to have to start all over, and we were like,

"Smart and steady - we're going to finish this first."

Oh, my God. Ty.

I'm here.

Remember - lined up evenly and perfectly. No space.

I think we're doing the right roles for each other.

He's staying calm doing this, I'm trying to help him.

I'm really glad that my dad was here for that challenge,

because his surgeon hands just went to work

and I was his... nurse assistant!

You got it, Daddy.

SCOTT: She did a great job just being my partner.

And vice versa, I hope. -Yes.

This is so cool.

24, 26, 27, 28...

Going to squeeze in here. Sorry.

Come on, we got to keep it together.

Ow.

Pay attention.

I can't pay attention,

'cause you're bickering with me over some stupid...

I'm asking you not to hit my hand every time. 160.

146.

Where are you guys at?

146.

I think we're all... we're both wrong.

Where are you guys at?

What did you get?

Oh, my hand's cramping from clicking this thing.

OK. Come on, babe.

Merci. -134.

Got it.

Is that 94, Cole? -Maybe.

Are they wrong or are we wrong? -I don't know.

It's too distracting to think and talk.

84.

Cut those off. -And then bang it shut.

It's really cool.

That seems good. Oh, yeah.

Now washers. Rim up.

It's not the small ones - they're a different shape.

Too wobbly? -Yeah.

No blade? -Yeah. The small blade is not there.

Oh, that's why everything is weird.

It just needs to fit.

Guys, did your washers make a big difference?

Yes, they do.

Now we have to cut off the things and then hammer it.

Oh, yes. Cut it.

203. Do you think it's 203?

What are they doing?

Write it on our newspaper. -Come on, let's go.

We got to do this fast.

We have to be right. Please.

203. Uh-uh.

Not even close, obviously?

Let me see the clue. Let me see the clue.

Bonjour.

No?

Oui. -Hey, we got it.

We got it?

"Make your way to the Broken Chair and search for your next clue."

That's it. Let's go. -OK, let's go.

What did you guys get? -We got 201.

You don't think so?

Did you guys get it?

What did you guys say? -203.

Lower. 190.

We told them the answer because,

honestly, every team here, we're really friends with

and we haven't really been in that, like, do-or-die situation,

so I think we are just giving, like, little clues

just to kind of keep us all in the front.

Hey, guys.

190, 190. -OK, thank you.

Monsieur, voila!

Oui! (LAUGHS)

Are the dancers going again?

Hey, Burnie and Ashley, let's work to figure out where this is.

It's all about just staying in front.

Sorry, excuse us again. One more time. Pardon.

They told us the answer, but, unfortunately,

we had to go back and do the whole thing again.

Get over. You're too close to me. -18. I can't - their chessboard.

Well, sit on it. -18. No.

Careful. Careful!

And hammer those down.

Oh, my God. -Yeah, you're fine.

Ooh! Yowser! -Oh, my God.

We don't have time for that.

That's the blade we forgot. -Are you sure?

Yep. -OK.

And then you're going to pound it after that.

Yes! That's the best part. -Good job.

This is the last thing that goes on.

I think I got it. OK.

Korey's on a mission! -It's close.

(CLICKING)

That looks good to me! -All those clicks!

That's a good knife!

Well done. -Yeah!

Do we get to keep our knife? Thank you!

Broken Chair. We need a local.

Hi! Bonjour! Do you know the Broken Chair?

It's over there. -Do you think we should walk or take a bus?

I think you should run.

Thank you so much.

59, 60, 61.

63.

OK. Let's write it down.

In the corner of the paper, right? Is that where we write it?

93.

94. 194.

No. No?

I don't get it! -Me neither.

Maybe we should start at the other end.

I think he said 190.

He was mouthing it to us. Did you...

Were you looking? -Go ahead. Go.

Don't be too close to me. We were too high before.

Oui.

(BOTH CHEER)

Oh, my God. They're right.

14.

It's the last time. It's the last time.

BURNIE: What did you guys get for your number?

SHERI: 194. -Nice.

What did y'all get? -190.

Get on the bus. Let's go. -Let's make this bus move.

Let's go, let's go.

I'm hoping this was faster. I'm hoping.

79. 80.

81. 82.

190. -190. Let's go.

Hurry, hurry, hurry, hurry. -Sorry, sorry.

Bonjour.

Is this right? -Yes.

Everyone else is right on our tail, so if they're right, we're screwed.

OK.

Thank God. -OK, let's go. Come on.

59... They got it.

Good luck, ladies. -Keep it up, you guys.

This is not fun. -I wish we could have done the knife one.

Want to check it?

Congratulations.

Ah, thank you. -Thank you!

Good luck, Blair and dad.

Running in the cold again!

Whoo! -Alright, babe, so let's run to the train station.

This is it. 15. -Alright, here we go.

Stay to the front of the bus.

ERIN: Here's the station. -10, five, seven...

15, yes.

OK, thank you.

ZACH: We are going to the Broken Chair.

We're on the train to the last stop.

That's where we should find the monument,

or some kind of statue for a broken chair.

Couldn't we just ask somebody? -(LAUGHS) Five...

And we made a Swiss Army Knife!

Congratulations. Well done. -Thank you so much!

Alright, Daddy, we're headed to the Broken Chair.

Well, we get a tram right on this side.

This is it. This side. Six minutes.

Oh, my gosh.

Oh, wait. There are the girls.

Joslyn! -There's Blair and her dad.

Oh, my gosh. -Hey, guys.

This one. -This one.

Here we go. 15.

Yeah, this is us. -We've got to make up some ground.

It's a little faster than a walk.

(BOTH COUNT)

You want to say 12 or 13?

Just do 212.

I'm getting my coat, putting it on,

because I have faith that this one is right.

I know it has to be.

What? No?

How is that not right? -How is that not right?

Oh, my God. We are screwed right now.

BRITTANY: Never been more annoyed in my life. -Get the marker ready.

That's the last seat. -191.

We'll just walk to the Pit Stop on our own.

I hope you like us right now.

We've been counting.

Yes! -Oh, my God.

Oh. Hold the tears, Jess. Hold the tears.

I see the flags. Oh, there's the chair!

The United Nations? -Yes.

Roadblock. "Who's having a banner day?"

PHIL: The UN was established in 1945

to help maintain international peace and security.

Today, it has 193 member states,

who all have their flags represented here at the United Nations.

Teams must identify 10 flags,

representing 10 countries who were the founding members.

Let's hope they get it right the first time,

otherwise they'll be covering a lot of terrain.

Korey's doing it.

I'm pretty good with flags.

Slow and steady. -Oh, here's the map.

"There are 10 flags highlighted on the large flag map."

OK, so these are what I've got to find. One, two, three...

.. four, five, six... .. seven, eight, nine, 10.

"Choose the book of flags."

I've got to find the yellow countries.

"Remove those flags from your book and hand them to the official."

Oh, my God.

BRODIE: There it is. -BURNIE: Broken Chair.

Kurt's doing it. -I'm doing it.

I'll do it. -OK.

I'm having a banner day. -Cole's going to do it.

United Nations! Slow and steady, boys. Work together.

Do you know flags? -I know flags pretty well.

OK, pick 'em out.

Netherlands, Norway, Costa Rica, Turkey I believe I know,

Ethiopia... -Oh, I have no idea.

Wow, these are tough ones.

Cole, you'll do fine, baby. You'll do fine.

Hey, this is South Africa.

I'm glad Korey's doing this. -I'm glad Kurt's doing this.

ASHLEY: I'm glad Burnie's doing this.

SHERI: And I'm glad Cole's doing it, because he knew...

(BOTH LAUGH) .. he knows some from soccer.

Norway. Do you guys have Norway?

A lot of them I knew because I play a lot of FIFA, the video game.

It's got, like, the country's flag there.

And I was able to match up five or six of them.

There must be an easier way to know.

There's, like, a key?

What is Korey up to?

I knew there was a piece that was missing,

so I was trying to figure out if there was a key

somewhere on the property that would tell you which flags were which.

BURNIE: Are there plaques, Korey?

Do they tell you what nation they are on them?

No, I'm looking.

I think he's looking at the flags.

There's a map here. There's a map.

They figured something out.

Nope, nothing good. It's not a key. It's not a key.

This is hard.

Roadblock -"Who is having a banner day?"

Bang. -I'm having a banner day.

Oh, oh, I have an idea.

Good luck, baby. You got this.

Map the flags on the map

are corresponding with the flags on the poles.

The flag poles on the map were in the same order

of the actual flag poles on the property.

And once you figured that out, you could just count them on the map.

Six, seven, eight, nine, 10, 11, 12...

One, two, three, four...

And then run down the rows and count the same flags

to match the flags that were in our books.

This is a map of the grounds.

Just keep it between us.

COLE: Me and Korey teamed up on the Roadblock

because the flags were really, really difficult.

We split up and said,"You take the poles on the right,

"I'll take the poles on the left,

"and then we'll compare notes at the end."

Where's he going?

I think they figured it out.

(COUNTS)

It's right. My key is right.

You can do this, baby. -OK, sure. I'll do it.

Here... They're coming. -OK, there it is.

Good luck, baby.

(COUNTS)

Norway, Ethiopia, South Africa.

Burnie, Kurt, and Cole had just tried to guess some of the flags.

Is this Liberia? -I don't think that is it, no.

I had already ripped those out of my book,

just hoping that they were right.

Matt.

Come over here. Let me see yours. Let me see yours.

It seemed that all the teams had kind of partnered up,

so I started doing it by myself.

I'm literally just guessing.

Yeah, it's a lot of guessing.

You've got this, Rach. Take your time.

BURNIE: We were working on this enormous board

that had a list of all the countries.

We thought, "There's got to be a map

"that shows us what all these flags are."

Then I realised...

.. the board that we were working on was the map!

Kurt, Kurt, come here, come here.

The map... the map is the row of flags.

Duh. -Got it.

This order matches the map, and then I can just run and match it.

Can I try mine? -Sure.

TYLER: Come on, Korey.

We need Belarus.

One, two, four, five, eight...

ASHLEY: You got this. You got this, Bu. You got it.

The boys said they were guessing on three at the beginning.

I didn't check their work on the ones they said they knew.

Incorrect. -It's not correct?

Costa Rica. Do you know which one it is?

No, 'cause I don't know which ones were wrong.

Matt and I realised

we were going to have to do the whole puzzle from scratch.

Turkey's second to the end.

I think I've got it, guys. Judge, please. Judge.

Voila. Thank you.

Burnie's trying to get it. Burnie's trying to get it.

I'm getting ready to go. I feel it. I feel it in my blood.

Congratulations. -Thank you.

Burnie, can you help? -Burnie, please.

Merci beaucoup. What have you got? What do you need?

Belarus.

Why don't I see it?

Those are alright, the ones you showed me. -Yeah.

Good luck, Blair. "Choose a book of flags..."

Come on, baby. -Whoo!

Looking good, Burnie! -I've got it.

I'm going to give it to him. -Do you have Liberia?

Route Info -"Travel by train..." (GASPS)".. to Chamonix in France."

Burnie and Ashley will be the first team to leave Switzerland

for the French Alps and the town of Chamonix,

the birthplace of winter sports

and home to the very first Winter Olympics.

They'll find me here in the centre of town,

where the last team may be eliminated.

Let's get our bags and go.

ERIN: You got it, Joslyn.

Just give me the same ones.

Do you want to work together?

This is brilliant!

Congratulations. -Thank you.

Merci, merci, merci.

Costa Rica...

Yes! We're out, we're out.

Congratulations. -Thank you.

Yay, Cole! Whoo!

Two, three, four, five... -Girls, do you want to compare?

I have six. It's this one.

OK, OK.

There's a little leverage if you want to work with someone else,

but I think we will get to a point

where teams really are going to have to work on their own.

Where are the models?

I see a clue box.

The models just got here, guys.

Are you guys figuring this out? We're the last team.

No, we're just, like, guessing.

Oh, where do you get the... -Right here, in front of you.

Oh, so I don't really have a choice?

Show us the one we don't have.

Can you just brief me?

We're just trying to guess these flags. We have no idea.

From Costa Rica, Joslyn...

From Costa Rica, we have 12, 13, 14.

Have any of you guys gotten this one?

Can't find it yet.

If I had gotten to the Roadblock

and everyone was doing their own thing, I would have said,"Cool."

12, 13, 14...

But when I saw everyone was in a group,

I felt excluded - like, why are you girls not wanting to help?

Yeah, it's the star. It's this one.

BLAIR: At that point, if we were the last teams

and it was going to be a race,

then we needed someone behind us.

I really don't know what I have to do.

So we are on a train right now for Chamonix in France.

We're leaving Switzerland.

We're going to be connecting through Martigny.

As long as we're in front, we're still winning.

That's the most important thing.

Let's just not be last. -Let's just not be last.

Which one did you check? -I... Is it...

We checked that one and the other one.

I've asked others for help,

but no-one wants to help the person that's in last.

Come on, Matt, use your head.

Let me try with this. -Matt, you've got this.

Have you guys found this one?

12, 13, 14, 15...

Congratulations. -That's correct.

You got it, baby? -Yeah.

Good job, baby.

Come on. -I hope Korey's is right.

"Warning - last two to check in may be eliminated." Come on, let's go.

He'll get it.

Congratulations. -Thank you so much.

I'm so sorry, Ty. -You know you killed it.

OK, we need to get to that main train station.

(SIGHS)

Just take your time. -You've got it, girl.

No, everyone's in a team.

It's not that I think no-one will work with me,

it's that I know no-one will work with me.

Just sucks, though. Like, I feel like I help everyone.

Just... I guess no-one wants to share information

with the person who comes in last.

Whoo! Guys, we got it.

Got it. -We got it.

They just talk to each other, not me.

Yep, you guys got it. I love you.

Thank you so much.

I really appreciate it. Hey, you got it, girl.

No-one just wants to help me. Whatever.

Whoo-hoo! Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Bye. -Let's go. Come on, let's go.

Joslyn. -Joslyn.

Norway. Liberia. Let's see...

Guys, I think we need to go to the station.

Nine, 10...

BRITTANY: So, to see all those women up there and to not help Jessica,

I was pretty upset.

JESSICA: Fingers are so cold,

I can, like, barely flip through these pages.

OK, this has how many red stripes?

One, two...

JOSLYN: Here it comes.

Hopefully, there's chardonnay and martinis where we're going.

KOREY: So, we're on a train to Martigny.

All aboard.

We're here with the dancers, the hosts, the kings,

and Brodie's girlfriend.

(LAUGHS)

Hashtag #Blodie! (LAUGHS)

Thank you.

Let's just go back to the train station.

BURNIE: So we have, like, an hour layover, don't we?

Yep, here we go. Martigny.

They said track one. Number one. Left.

Burnie, make sure. -Yeah, I'll double-check.

Stay here.

The train for Chamonix? -It goes to Chamonix.

Let's just ask one more person.

Pardonnez-moi. Does this train go to Chamonix?

Vallorcine? OK.

One hour in Vallorcine.

So, everyone's doing two connections.

Oh, my God. This leg is so much more stressful.

BRITTANY: Trying to be hopeful.

I'm kind of disappointed, though, with the other teams.

10 minutes to departure.

We're on the train with Zach and Rachel,

Joslyn and Erin, Tyler and Korey, and Matt and Dana.

We think we are the last four teams

except for the models we know are behind us,

and we're not sure if they're going to make this train or not.

This is going to take, like, a miracle.

JOSLYN: I see them. -ERIN: You see them?

I think I saw their bags.

There they are. I saw them. -Guys, hide.

Hide. No, hide.

Joslyn just saw them. -Hide.

Another train pulled up. It could be them.

Can we have everyone down, please?

That's our train, but it's about to leave?

WOMAN: Yeah.

Yeah, it leaves in a minute.

I just know that if it's up to a foot race between all of us,

I know my dad and I can't keep up.

Where do we go?

I saw them, guys. -Go, go, go, go!

One minute? Are you (BLEEP) kidding me?

I see running.

This train's still here. -We gotta go.

I'm just really nervous.

They have to go under and come back over.

Guys, you're going to see them walk right there.

I love the models, but it wouldn't be the worst thing

if they didn't make this train.

They're going to make it, guys. They're going to make it.

JESSICA: Our train is right here.

(ALL GASP)

DANA: Are we moving?!

We missed the train.

Could they have missed it? -They aren't here.

This could be the cushion we needed to not get eliminated on this leg.

We're literally the only ones here.

Alright, let's go inside.

Wait.

ASHLEY: Oh, my gosh. OK, that's a train coming in.

Burnie, just tell me two teams, please.

I will. For the love of God.

I can't even look myself.

Look, there's everybody. -Oh, my gosh.

Burgundy girls. -ALL: What?!

BURNIE: Oh, they're there.

BLAIR: Oh, my gosh. We've caught up with the other teams.

That's it.

Get on that train. Get on that train.

Daddy, daughter. -Daddy, daughter.

All the teams are right there. -Oh, my God.

Everyone is here except the models. -The models are not here?

COLE: There's Zach, Dad, hosts, hosts.

BURNIE: Blair went down. Blair went down.

Are you OK, Blair? -Are you OK, sweetie?

Yeah, I'm good. -Aww. Blair, are you OK?

I'm good.

She's sort of excited to see you guys.

DANA: We thought we were racing for maybe fourth at best.

We're racing for first again.

Racing in the cold.

BRITTANY: I can't believe we're last.

I didn't think we would be last.

JESSICA: We're just going to finish, whatever happens.

(SIGHS)

Whoever runs the fastest without falling in the snow

is going to get there first.

If the models are going to be out,

they would want us to win this leg for them.

Should we put on our wigs?

(GASPS) Not yet.

Go, go, go, go! -Let's go.

Hurry. -Whoo-hoo!

BLAIR: Daddy. -Let's go.

Rachey, come on. -I'm coming.

COLE: Come on, Mama. Got to keep going.

Alright, look for it.

Tyler, this is it.

(FESTIVE SINGING)

Here we go, Brodie.

PHIL: We've got more teams coming in behind you.

Nice and easy, guys. Easy, easy.

Easy, easy. It's slippery. It's slippery. Nice job, guys.

Wow, look at this. Touch the mat, you guys. Touch the mat.

Both team members touch the mat.

SCOTT: Good job, Cole. Good job, Sheri.

Alright.

Good job, good job. -You got it.

Good job, guys.

Wow. This is crazy.

Welcome to Chamonix, France.

(ALL CHEER)

First on the mat today - Brody and Kurt, team number one.

You have won $3,000 each!

(ALL CHEER)

Awesome.

And can anyone remember a time

when we had this many teams on the mat at once?

Has it ever happened?

It did happen once, yes. It was the All Stars season.

Well, that makes sense, because we're all All Stars here.

We knew that there was no weak teams.

All these teams have their strengths,

and we have to stay on our game to stay in this race.

(FESTIVE MUSIC)

I'm really sad, Jessica. -Me too.

This race has been so awesome, doing it with Brittany.

But I feel like we needed more time.

Brittany and Jessica, I'm sorry to tell you

that you are the last team to arrive

and you have been eliminated from the race.

We knew it. -Yeah, we knew.

We were ready. -It was fun, though.

I couldn't imagine picking another partner.

She's just like my other half.

She's, like, the exact same person as me.

You're going to make me cry.

It's alright. You can let your tears go.

I'm so thankful. She's so intuitive and intelligent and she's beautiful.

Just sucks to go home early.

Stay tuned for scenes from our next episode.

Next week on The Amazing Race, teams take on the Alps.

This is so high!

(GROANS) -I got it.

Whoa! -That's not good.

Oh, my God, Cole, I'm so scared.

And a majestic paraglide...

This is the most incredible thing I've ever seen!

.. leads to a surprising finish.

Oh! Uh-oh!

BURNIE: Who is that? -Oh, my God!

How did that happen?
