It's time to get back to our Tequila Roots.

The electro nights are back, and so is Simon.

now I can focus on getting rid of some weak links around the club.

She proceeds to get onto the bar.

Sitting on the bar, texting, completely unacceptable to me.

Returning the club to its original format means we have to get back our old DJs.

Hey, if I touch that stage, we're gonna have to talk a heavy price.

For a nightclub to succeed...

...the atmosphere has to be just right.

That means lighting...

...the right music...

...but most of all, it means good staff.

If our staff is weak...

...Tequila fails.

It's that simple.

Our previous manager reformatted our club to Top 40 and country,

and he didn't manage those changes, so those changes didn't work.

Tequila's going back to its original format of dance and electro.

Our managing partner, Simon, is back as well.

He's the child in the room that makes people have a great time and party.

It's great to be back at Tequila,

but it's a job that comes hand in hand with a lot of late nights and alcohol.

It took a serious toll on my health,

so this time around, I have to keep my drinking in check.

There's a lot I miss about Tequila, and also, a lot I don't.

When you extract two people that are fighting each other,

it's usually a good idea to kick them out separate doors.

...about the bar being left a really big mess after Thursday night was done.

Actually, it was the slowest Thursday in sales since we opened our doors.

So nothing for sales means there should be no mess.

Kim and I have watched the first 37 minutes of the night.

The bartender hasn't even done an inventory,

her liquor counts of everything.

Completely unacceptable to me.

A bartender's job is to weigh all the bottles of booze...

...and to track what they're selling, and she didn't do that.

I will never play like we did when it first opened though.

Dubsie and Myron pretending they're in front of like a thousand people.

The DJs are tapped right now. Like Vegas is...

Vegas is buying everything and for too much money.

And skyrocketing the rate for everyone else.

Electronic dance music is now one of the biggest genres in the world.

It's selling out stadiums of 400,000-plus people.

We gotta build our clientele again.

I wanna make sure that people aren't leaving ever because of music.

You know, I don't want that.

I try to work with DJs and create music that isn't that way.

You gotta let DJs go in and just do their thing.

Let them be the orchestrator for the night.

But everyone's on that like twerk bounce scene now.

-Classics, EDM, slowed down. -New trend.

It's just that bouncy stuff.

Whatever makes a girl run to the dance floor,

any guy's gonna follow.

You guys think you might be interested in coming back?

I hope that they'll actually do things differently.

I hope that they've learnt from their mistakes in the past.

I asked the staff last night, which was Thursday night, to do this.

I showed up to work this morning and they are not done.

Most of the young staff we have today aren't like staff from 10 years ago.

They don't share the same work ethic.

I've just really had it with people not listening to me.

I take it as a direct disrespect to me.

It was at about this time last year when I quit the club,

focused on my health and got a day job.

Today, I'm about to find out how my liver is doing...

after six months of the quiet life.

My doctor's not gonna be happy to hear that I started back at Tequila.

Kind of a nervous day today and I'm hoping for some good news,

'cause I've really cut down on a lot of the alcohol I've been consuming.

A little nervous just in case it's not, then...

...then I have to take more extreme measures...

...to take care of my liver.

My doctor's not gonna be happy to hear that I started back at Tequila.

We discussed your blood tests...

...and we found that you had liver functions elevated...

...suggesting possible excessive alcohol.

The liver enzyme that is specifically increased during alcohol is the GGT.

-It was almost three times the normal. -Yeah.

So the value between those two little lines is normal.

And then your last, so a few days ago, it was 37.

That will indicate that,

you know, whatever you've been doing has been good.

Nice.

What you obviously need to do now is continue.

Obviously, if you increase your use of alcohol,

those liver enzymes are gonna go back up again.

I've cut down quite a bit. Like I'd say a good 70 percent.

I was out of the club for a long time.

Unfortunately, I'm back there recently, just helping out,

but I've really kind of cut down like a lot.

You should probably not do more than about two alcoholic drinks per day.

Right.

I hope I can keep my drinking in check.

You'll have to make it to the club, maybe, for a few drinks...

and we'll raise your liver enzyme.
