So 1.3 is identifying your most profitable niche for your Kindle book.

So before we start planning a new book we need to know exactly what topic we are going to write it on

and we want to choose the topic.

Either we want to choose a topic based on two following factors we want to spend the least amount of

energy and effort into this book.

I mean we still want to make it a really high quality book.

But if you are an expert in health and nutrition you don't want to go ahead and write a book about the

mechanics of a car because that's just going to take too much time and effort and it doesn't make any

sense.

So we want to leverage our strengths and we also want to make sure we're riding in a niche that will

give us the greatest amount of sales and profit for a book.

So if even if you are health and fitness expert and know health and fitness books seem to be selling

on Kindle there's no point in trying to revive that market with your book because we want to write for

a market that's already existing and already thriving.

So let me show you how you can identify the most profitable niche.

So I want you to answer the following four questions and make sure you write these down or take out

a note on your laptop.

That's going to be really important when we move on and we start researching each one.

So take out a pen and paper and answer these four questions.

What is your college degree or what is your college major.

If you didn't graduate college go to college.

What is your high school Major.

What was your favorite subject in high school.

Right and the main subject that you studied.

The second question is what is your profession.

What do people pay you to do every single day.

So this is essentially what tasks do you already know that are valuable to us.

The third is not professional but what do people ask your advice for.

Do you have a question or two.

Two questions maybe people always come to you and ask for your advice because they know you're knowledgeable

in this area.

Write those down.

If you do.

And lastly what is your passion or what do you want to investigate further.

So if we don't have an answer to any of these top three books that are useful What's something you don't

mind doing a little bit of research in to become knowledgeable about and then publish an e-book in that

area.

So I'm going to stress again that you write down these three to five answers before we move on.

So please do that now and let's move on.

So now we're going to head over the Amazon Kindle with that list of three to four different categories

and I'm going to show you how to find the best knish for your new book.

Let's go ahead and do that guys.

So I've written it down here in marks of Word document my top five answers which as you can see a nutrition

exercise basketball social media and skateboarding get a mix of things in there.

And again our goal is to be inside the top 10000 best sellers rank for our book.

So our goal is to be inside the top 10000 best selling books for our e-book and that's going to get

our goal of achieving $10000 a year.

So let's have a look at each category and see if any of them are viable options for getting inside this

top ten thousand for getting inside this top 10000 list and that we.

So we know that I could write a book about any of these five things that would provide value to other

people.

So let's go have a look at what the best thing I could write about is in order to crack this top ten

thousand dollar in order to crack this top ten thousand best sellers ranked list and earn out $10000

passive per year for our book.

And then could kindle still then just simply search one of your content.

So I've already searched but one of them may be basketball as basketball and Kindle store.

And you get books with basketball appearing.

One thing I wanted to do is then click the basketball category so I'm not just limited to books with

basketball high in that titles.

And then just search a blank search box right here and you get everything in the basketball Cuttery.

So you see the best sellers list at the top and it goes down from there.

So what you want to do is you want to have a look at the books and see if you can create anything similar

to one of these books.

You probably don't want to write a a full novel will you don't want to write a full 500 page novel.

Well looking for a shorter book or maybe an instructional book maybe a short story.

So as you can see here a lot of these books are a long version book that's really more like a historical

book about a player and there's not very many short story instructional ones you can tell by the price.

Normally that 2:9 less than that which is the type of book we want to create because the ones that make

the most money and the easiest to create.

So as you can see here basketball probably isn't a good category for me to read and just to double check

something I'm going to check.

The best selling rank of this book

see down here it's 40000 in the Kindle store which means it's not selling as well as we would like our

book to sell so therefore we can wipe basketball off the list and go said something different.

So the thing was on my list was social media.

So what I'm done here is I've said social media is not an exact social media category.

So I'm just going to have a scroll through here and you can already see the amount of reviews and even

the prices of these.

They're much more promising already.

So let's find a reasonably priced social media book for adults and 18 cents and it's 500 social media

marketing tips to 500 is a lot and it's a little bit more than 2 9 9 which is where we want to place

our book.

As you can see this 200 pages here.

So we may write 50 social media marketing tips or something smaller.

That's more manageable but we just scroll down to see where they ranked and they're ranked within the

top ten thousand.

So you can tell just from this one book that social media is a good niche and a good market to write

in.

And I could easily choose that for my book

skateboarding was another one of mine and I mean just the skateboarding category with a blank search

you can see them.

This one is written by Tony Hawk himself mastering escape is more one night we were right.

I don't know how many pages turn it into pages.

Again it's a lot of pages.

It's a very high price.

It's not exactly the book that we will be writing but just to see the seller's rank you can see five

hundred thirty nine thousand.

Obviously it's not a great selling niche on the Kindle store.

So let's avoid skateboarding as well as basketball.

Lastly this is nutrition and nutrition is a big category.

There are a lot of different types of books in nutrition but I've just got the nutrition category up.

And as you can see from the top selling here is an expensive book it's a bigger book again than we're

going to create.

Three hundred twenty eight pages of very comprehensive.

But I would be surprised if they yet they are ranked 858 in the Kindle Store which as you know is very

beneficial and pays very well.

Just have another look at another book down here.

Maybe maybe a slightly cheaper one.

So this is a similar book to make.

So we're going to make a high quality book.

We want to maintain a five star rating.

How to make iced coffee drinks 25 best iced coffee recipes to enjoy simple booklets have a look how

many pages that is just 40 pages so that's very slim of the book.

We to write a little bit high quality so we can maintain high rankings.

He is nice on the Paleo Diet revise Wandel a nine on Kindle edition against a longer book.

You know the drill there we're going to read it shorter but they ranked well with limited them.

So I'm going to pick nutrition from my category whatever you're choosing.

Type it in have find the category and make sure it's profitable.
