All language subtitles for 4 - An Introduction to Amazon Kindle and its INCREDIBLE Potential English

I guy's a big warm welcome to my uni because I have to write a $10000 kinda book in 72 hours.

So first of all I want to give you a big congratulations on making this super valuable investment in

your time towards generating a passive income using the profession and the knowledge that you've already

got.

So as we go through this course we're going to be creating a book together.

I'm going to pick a topic and create a book on that.

And as I go through my book step by step you'll be able to see what you need to do to create your book

at the same time.

So this is module one the gold mine called Amazon Kindle.

So what I'm going to be walking you through in this first module is just a brief introduction to get

familiar with Kindle for those who aren't already familiar with it.

I'm going to show you exactly how much money you can make with the Kindle.

And then we're going to go on and identify the most profitable knish for you based on how well the knishes

selling and how easy it is for you to create that book.

So you find that niche and then we'll move on the model to where we start planning and creating our

books together.

So first of all what is Amazon Kindle.

Essentially Amazon Kindle is simply just a specific category on the Amazon Dot com or any of Amazon's

online stores as you can see here with the Arab pointing to kindle store.

It's just one of the many categories like jewelry home and kitchen electronics.

But the thing about this category is it's exclusively for e-books.

So Amazon Kindle is essentially Amazon Dotcom's online bookstore similar to Barnes Noble's book Turpie

or chapters so people browse Amazon Kindle and they go and they buy these digital e-books to download

straight to that Kindle devices or their tablets or their computers to read straight away.

So essentially the e-book is the online version of your book and the Amazon Kindle Store is the best

place to sell your book.

So why is that.

Why do we want to publish on Kindle.

So the first reason we want to publish on Kindle is an extra source of passive income.

So once we create a book which we will do in this video cause we listed on Amazon Kindle and it makes

money for us while we don't even have to pay attention to it.

So we can just leave it up there and we let other people browse Amazon Kindle Fire and our book downloaded.

And obviously we get paid for that.

So it's excellent exercise of passive income.

And one of the best things about Amazon Dot Com is they currently have over 615 million paying customers.

So if you're going to try and publish a book anywhere Amazon have the most paying customers and therefore

your book will get the most exposure and the most purchases on Amazon.

The other unique thing about Amazon is that people use Amazon exclusively to make purchases.

So if you look at Google's traffic people gone Google search how to lose weight or how to make money

online.

They're not exactly looking to spend money and pay for something but Amazon is just an e-commerce store.

And anyone searching on Amazon is looking to buy.

So that is one reason why we want to publish on Kindle.

The other is it's excellent for building social proof or adding to your resume.

So a lot of people who do consulting work or applying for mentorship or a job.

If you can have an Amazon best selling book and list one of these two things on your resume such as

Amazon Best selling author or author of insert your book name here you're going to gain a lot more credibility

and a lot more respect and you can charge a lot more for your time.

So how much money can you actually make with Kindle.

So the obvious thing to point out here is every Amazon author is going to be making a different amount

of money every year with their Kindle books depending on the quality of their books and how well they

promote their books.

So just a rough estimate but I would say according to a few of my calculations about 85 percent of people

will be making over $1000 a year just having one book on Amazon.

Now the very top selling if you can do if you can outperform almost everyone else on Kindle you'll be

making well over a million dollars.

And that would be very impressive to see.

But our goal of course is $10000 for our e-book.

So let's have a look at exactly where we need our e-book to rank in order to hit our goal of $10000

passive income every single year.

Ok I'm over here on the Amazon Kindle store.

And I'm going to show you really quickly what the Amazon Kindle bestsellers rank means and how your

exact rank determines how many books you're selling.

So you can see the top 100 paid Kindle books on the Kindle store.

Number one is the fault in our Stars by John Green so to find the exact rank of a book simply click

on it.

If you're not in the best seller section and scroll down to product details and as you can see here

it says number one paid in the entire can no stall.

So they get another example that's not number one.

Let's dive into business and money that best sellers over here.

And come down to number 20 Steve Jobs and you can scroll down to the same section and you can see that

overall this is ranked 1293 in the paid Kindle Store which is a incredibly high rank because just to

clarify every single book on Amazon's Kindle Store is ranked against each other.

So number one is the top selling book out of any other book.

And obviously Number Six million or however many books that are in that store is the worst selling book.

So we want to make our book ranked as high as possible in order to get his most sales as possible.

The other tool I'm going to show you really quickly is the KDP calculator com.

And what this does is you can throw in your current seller rank so where your book is ranking on the

best sellers and it will determine or estimate how many books a day that that person is selling or how

many books day that you will sell if you achieved this rank.

So let's just throw in the number ninety and it will show you that you're selling between 300 and 500

e-books every single day.

Throw in a number like 10000 it will show you that you're signed between one and 10 books per day.

So this is a great tool to calculate what range we need to achieve in order to hit our goal of $10000

per year.

So as you can see from the ranks the rank determines how many books are selling every day for that person's

e-book.

So if you can crack the top 100000 best selling e-books on Amazon Kindle which is not hard to do at

all it's just two books a day.

You'll be making about $1000 a year.

Passive So the reason it's two books and follows day is because the pricing strategy that we will use

will go over later in this course but out price that will put it that is 299 and minus Amazon's fee

will be making roughly $2 a book.

So if you can crack the top ten thousand bestselling e-books on Amazon Kindle will be making our goal

of $10000 a year which is $27 passive a day which is just it's just selling 13 of your books everyday.

Now if you if you're an overachiever and you can somehow crack the top thousand best selling e-books

consistently over the next 12 months you'll be selling up to 200 books a day 200 plus books a day making

400 dollars a day and a passive income of a hundred and forty six thousand dollars a year just from

this one e-book.

And it is very possible.

So all that money seems really awesome.

But let me show you what the real value of writing a Kindle eBook is.

So an email squeeze page or tell demonstrate in a second and future selves the real value of kindo because

essentially you can use your Kindle book as a gateway or a portal into your email list and by actually

having them pay you money to download your book.

They will join your email lists.

So you hear people asking What is your CPA or cost per acquisition.

When they talk about the advertising campaigns your cost essentially will be minus $2 for every new

lead on your e-mail list because people who are joining your email lists are actually paying you money

for your book.

So let me show you exactly how that works.

action on them.
