Producer: What did it look like
on a daily basis

when you are in
the throes of porn addiction?

- So in it's worst,
on a bad day,

it could be two or three hours
of bingeing.

just constantly diving into it.

I was trying to stop
at all times

because I really don't want
to hurt her,

whether it's the man
or the woman,

the other one
does feel betrayed.

Producer: Did you feel betrayed,
Lydia?

- Yeah. Because it's not me.

He's finding comfort

feel less?

- Yeah, it makes you feel
like you're not enough.

so I can have that time

and that freedom, if you like,
to be able to just view porn

at my leisure

and feast on the opportunity
of that pornography.

Producer: Do you think
that some of the things

that you wanna do,

are influenced by what you see
in porn?

- Yeah because you learn
new things on porn.

So like, there'd be some stuff
that obviously,

I wouldn't have a clue about,

and then I've seen like,
a porn video

and I'm like,
oh, that looks good.

Obviously that influences you
to try different things.

- There's being forceful,

so like, for example,
you might just see,

see a guy sort of,
throw himself on a girl,

and she might like it,
or he does stuff like,

controls her, sort of,
in a really aggressive way.

I mean I like,
when I'm watching porn,

I like slapping
and obviously choking,

I think it's quite a norm.

I think it is quite a norm.
It happens in porn all the time.

And I think girls
pick up on it, as well,

and I think maybe
because maybe girls watch porn,

you always see the girl
enjoying it and liking it

so it's definitely something
that's big.

what do you really think
of the photos

that you're editing?

- They're fucking disgusting.

They are abhorrent.

And a lot of these photographs,

you can tell just by looking

who's enjoying it and who's not.

You can tell the ones
that are empowered by it,

they're like, fuck yeah,
this is my life,

this is, you know, I own this.

This is my body and I can do

and then there's other girls
that unfortunately,

you needed that.

giving you by having that app?

- This program for me,

helped me so that,

I remember days
in the recovery process

where I would want to watch porn
and if I had access to porn,

without my wife finding out,

I probably would have turned
to it,

I would have given in.

Not being able
to get away with it

in that moment,

was kind of the final ability
to say no.

spend two or three hours

looking for the perfect video.

While Lydia lay asleep

But that perfect video
didn't exist.

Because there is always
one more to watch.

There's disagreement
as to whether porn

should be classified
as addictive.

What's not in doubt,

is that there are many like Rob

whose porn use has become
compulsive.

- For me, personally,

pornography started
when I was teenager.

I went through,
I then got into a relationship,

where I continued
to use pornography.

And it caused a lot of tension

she'd find images on my phone,

It broke her inside
because she loved me.

And she wanted to be

that that I had saw,

from that perspective

do you think that guy is you,

you're imagining
you're the person

to see how women wouldn't allow
