These are the user uploaded subtitles that are being translated: THE EVANGEL OF YEHOSHUA THE MESSIAH Translated from Aramaic to English According to Yokhanan (John) 1 JOHN 1 In the beginning was THE MILTHA (WORD) and THAT MILTHA was with ELOHIM and ELOHIM was THAT MILTHA. (MILTHA in Aramaic signify: Word, Manifestation, Instance). 2 THIS was with ELOHIM in the begin-ning. 3 Everything existed through His hand, and with¬out HIM not even one thing ex-isted of the things which have existed. 4 IN HIM was LIFE, and THE LIFE was THE LIGHT of men. 5 And THAT LIGHT shines in the dark-ness, and the darkness did not compre-hend it. 6 There was a man who was sent FROM ELOHIM, whose name was John. 7 This man came for a witness that he should testify about THE LIGHT, that all might believe through his hand. 8 He was not THE LIGHT; but that he may testify about THE LIGHT. 9 For THE WORD was of truth, which enlightens all who come into the world. 10 HE was in the world, and the world existed by His hand, and the world knew HIM not. (Ps. 132: 17 ; Jn. 17: 24). 11 HE came to His own, and His own receive HIM not. 12 But those that received HIM, HE gave to them authority to become the sons (and daughters) OF ELOHIM, even to them that believe IN HIS NAME. 13 Those who neither from blood nor from the will of the flesh nor from the will of a man, but were begotten FROM ELOHIM. 14 And THE MILTHA (WORD) be¬came flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His Glory, the Glory as OF THE ONLY- BEGOTTEN OF THE FATHER, full of grace and truth. 15 John witnessed concerning HIM and cried out and said, “THIS is HE of whom I spoke that HE would come after me, and yet was be¬fore me, because HE was precedent to me. 16 And from His fullness we all have re-ceived, and grace on account of grace. 17 Because the Torah was given through Moses, but the truth and grace came BY YEHOSHUA THE MESSIAH. 18 No man has ever seen ELOHIM. THE ONLY BEGOTTEN OF ELOHIM, who is in the bosom OF HIS FATHER, HE has declared HIM. 19 And this is the testimony of John, when the Judeans from Jerusalem sent priests and Levites that they should ask him, “Who are you?” 20 And he confessed and did not deny, “I am not THE MESSIAH.” 21 And they asked him again, “Who therefore? Are you Elijah?” And he said, “I am not.” “Are you the Prophet?” And he said, “No.” 22 And they said to him, “And who are you, that we might give a statement to those that sent us? What do you say con¬cerning yourself? 23 He said, “I am the voice that cries in the wilderness prepare the way OF YAHWEH, just as that which Isaiah the prophet said.” (Isa. 40: 3). 24 And those who were sent were from the Pharisees, 25 and they asked him and they said to him, “Why therefore are you baptizing if you are not THE MESSIAH and not Elijah and not the prophet?” 26 John answered and said to them, “I am baptizing in water, but HE is stand-ing in your midst WHOM you do not know.” 27 This is HE who comes after me, and HE was before me. HE of whom I am not worthy that I should loose the straps of His san¬dals. 28 These were in Bethany (house of dates) at the cross¬ing of the Jordan, where John was baptizing. 29 And the day after, John saw YEHOSHUA coming to him and John said, “Behold, HE is THE LAMB OF ELOHIM, Who takes away the sins of the world.” 30 This is THE ONE of Whom I said, “After me A MAN is coming and HE was Himself be¬fore me, because HE pre-ceded me. 31 And I did not know HIM, but so that HE should be made known to Israel, therefore I have come to baptize in wa-ter.” 32 And John testified and said, “I saw the Spirit descend¬ing from heaven like a dove and remained upon HIM. 33 And I did not know HIM, but HE who sent me to baptize in water, HE said to me, “THE ONE on whom you see the Spirit descending and remaining upon HIM, THIS is THE ONE who bap¬tizes in the Holy Spirit.” 34 And I have seen and have testified that THIS ONE is THE SON OF ELOHIM.” 35 And on another day, John was stand-ing and two of his disciples. 36 And he looked AT YEHOSHUA when HE was walking, and he said, “Be-hold, THE LAMB OF ELOHIM!” 37 And the two of his disciples heard as he spoke and they went themselves after YEHOSHUA. 38 And YEHOSHUA turned and HE saw them who were coming after HIM, and HE said to them, “What are you seek-ing?” And they were saying to HIM, “Our RABBI (MASTER), where are YOU staying?” 39 HE said to them, “Come and see! And they came and saw where HE lived and they were with HIM that day, and it was about the tenth hour. 40 One of those who heard from John and were going after YEHOSHUA Him-self was An¬draeus, the brother of Shimon. 41 And this one first saw Shimon his brother, and said to him, “We have found THE MESSIAH.” (Aramaic: MESHIKHA). 42 And he brought him TO YEHOSHUA, and YEHOSHUA looked at him and HE said, “You are Shimon, son of Jonah. You will be called Kaypha (Rock), (Kay¬pha in Aramaic). 43 And on the next day YEHOSHUA wanted to depart to Galilee, and HE found Philipus and HE said to him, “Come after ME.” 44 Philipus himself was from Beth-Saida, the city of Andraeus and of Shimon. 45 And Philipus found Nathanael and said to him, “HIM of whom Moses wrote in the Torah and in the proph¬ets, we have found HIM, who is YEHOSHUA, THE SON of Joseph from Naz¬areth.” (Ret. 18: 15, 18 ; Isa. 53: 2 ; Jer. 23: 5 ; Eze. 34: 23). 46 Nathanael said to him, “Is it possible that anything good shall be from Na¬z-areth?” Philipus said to him, “Come, and see!” 47 And YEHOSHUA saw Nathanael when he came to HIM and said about him, “Be¬hold, truly a son of Israel in whom there is no deceit!” 48 Nathanael said to HIM, “From where do YOU know me?” YEHOSHUA said to him, “Before Philipus called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.” 49 Nathanael answered and said to HIM, “RABBI, YOU are THE SON OF ELOHIM, YOU are THE KING of Is-rael.” 50 YEHOSHUA said to him, “Because of what I said to you that I saw you un-der the fig tree, do you be¬lieve; for you shall see even greater than these things.” 51 HE said to him, “Truly, truly, time¬less truth I speak to you: From this hour you shall see heav¬ens being opened and the angels OF ELOHIM as they ascend and descend unto THE SON of Man.” - 2 JOHN 1 And on the third day there was a wed-ding feast in Cana, a city of Galilee. And the mother OF YEHOSHUA was there. 2 And also YEHOSHUA Himself and His disciples were also invited to the wed¬ding banquet. 3 And the wine was running out and His mother said TO YEHOSHUA, “They have no wine!” 4 YEHOSHUA said to her, “What do we have in common, woman? My hour has not quite arrived.” 5 His mother said to the servants, “What¬ever HE says to you, do.” 6 But there were there six jars of stone that were set for the puri¬fication of the Judeans, which held two or three meas-ures. (1 Jar ~100 liters). 7 YEHOSHUA said to them, “Fill them with water.” And they filled them up to the brim. 8 HE said to them, “Draw henceforth and bring it to the master of cere¬mo-nies.” And they took it. 9 And when the master of ceremonies tasted that water that had become wine, and did not know from where it was (but the servants knew because they had filled the water), the master of ceremo-nies called to the bridegroom. 10 And he said to him, “Every man first calls for the good wine, and when they are drunk, then that which is inferior, but you have kept the good wine until now.” 11 This was the first sign that YEHOSHUA did in Cana of Galilee. And HE manifested His glory; and His disci-ples believed in HIM. 12 After this HE went down to Caperna-um, HE and His mother and His broth¬ers and His disciples, and they were there a few days. 13 And the Pesach of the Judeans was ap¬proaching, and YEHOSHUA went up to Jerusalem. 14 And HE found in the temple those that were selling oxen and sheep and doves and money exchangers who were sitting. 15 And HE made for Himself a whip from cords, and drove out all of them from the temple, even the sheep and oxen and money changers. And HE poured out their exchange money and turned over their tables. 16 And to those who were selling doves, HE said, “Take these away from here, and do not make the house OF MY FATHER a house of trade.” 17 And His disciples remembered that which is written, “The zeal for Your house has devoured ME,” (Ps. 69: 10). 18 But the Judeans answered and said to HIM, “What sign are YOU showing to us that YOU are doing these things?” 19 YEHOSHUA answered and said to them, “Tear down this temple and after three days I will raise it up.” 20 The Judeans were saying to HIM, “For forty-six years this temple has be¬ing built, and YOU will raise it in three days.” 21 But HE said this concerning the tem-ple of His body. 22 And when HE arose from the grave, His disciples remembered that HE had said this; and they believed the Tanac and the Word that YEHOSHUA had said. 23 But when YEHOSHUA was staying in Jerusa¬lem during the Pesach (Pass-over) during the feast, many believed in HIM when they saw the miracles that HE did. 24 But YEHOSHUA did not entrust Him¬self to them, because HE knew all men. 25 And HE did no need a man to tes¬tify to HIM about everyone, for HE Himself knew what is in human being. - 3 JOHN 1 And there was a certain man from the Pharisees. His name was Nicodemus he was a leader of the Judeans. 2 This man came TO YEHOSHUA at night and said to HIM, “RABBI, we know that YOU were sent from ELOHIM, for a man teacher is not able to do these mira¬cles that YOU do, except ELOHIM is with him.” 3 YEHOSHUA answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, timeless truth I am telling you, that if a human being is not born again, it is impossible for him to see the king¬dom OF ELOHIM.” 4 Nicodemus said to HIM, “How is it possible to enter the womb of his mother the second time and be born?” 5 YEHOSHUA answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, timeless truth I speak to you, that if a human being is not born from water and the Spirit, it is impossi¬ble for him to enter into the kingdom OF ELOHIM. 6 That which is born from the flesh is flesh, and that which is born from the Spirit, is spirit. 7 Do not be surprised that I said to you that it is necessary for you to be born again. 8 The Spirit will blow where it desires,, and you hear its voice. But you do not know from where it comes or to where it goes. Likewise is everyone who is born from the Spirit.” 9 Nicodemus answered and said to HIM, “How can these things be?” 10 YEHOSHUA answered and said to him, “You are a teacher of Israel, and you do not know these things? 11 Truly, truly, timeless truth I speak to you, the things that WE know WE are speaking and the things that WE see WE testify, and Our testi¬mony you do not ac¬cept. 12 If I have told you that which is on the earth and you are not believing, how will you believe ME if I tell you that which is in heaven? 13 And no man has ascended up to heaven except HE who descended from heaven. THE SON of Man is HE who is in heaven. 14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, thus THE SON of Man is going to be lifted up. (Cro. 21: 8 - 9). 15 So that everyone who believes in HIM shall not perish but shall have eter-nal life. 16 Because ELOHIM loved the world so much that HE gave His only begot-ten SON, so that whoever believes in HIM will not per¬ish, but will have eter-nal life. 17 For ELOHIM did not send HIS SON into the world that HE might condemn the world, but that HE might give life to the world through HIM. 18 Whoever believes in HIM is not judged, and whoever does not believe is judged already, because he does not be-lieve IN THE NAME OF THE ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON OF ELOHIM. 19 This is the judgment: THE LIGHT has come into the world, and the children of men loved the darkness more than THE LIGHT for their works are evil. 20 For everyone who does what is hate-ful, hates THE LIGHT and does not come TO THE LIGHT, lest his works should be convicted. 21 But he who does the truth, comes TO THE LIGHT. So that his works may be revealed, that they are done IN ELOHIM. 22 After these things, YEHOSHUA and His disciples came to the land of Judea, and HE remained there with them and baptized. 23 Now John was also baptiz¬ing at the Spring of Ainion (Spring of doves) which is on the side of Salim, because there was plenty of water there and they came and were baptized. 24 For John was not yet cast into prison. 25 But there was a dispute between one of John's disci¬ples and a certain Judean about puri¬fication. 26 And they came to John and said to him, “Our master, HE who was with you at the crossing of the Jordan, about WHOM you testified. Behold, HE is also baptizing and many are coming to HIM.” 27 John answered and said to them, “A man cannot receive anything of his own will, unless it is given to him from heaven. 28 You are my witnesses that I said, I am not THE MESSIAH, but I am a messen¬ger sent before HIM. 29 HE who has the bride is the Bride-groom, but the friend of the Bridegroom, who stands and listens to HIM, rejoices with great joy because of the voice of the Bridegroom. Therefore this my joy, be¬hold, it is full. 30 It is necessary for HIM to increase and for me to de¬crease. 31 For HE who has come from above is higher than all, and he who is from the earth, from the earth he speaks. HE who comes from heaven is higher than all. 32 And what HE has seen and heard, HE testifies, and His testimony no man re¬ceives. 33 But he who receives His testimony attests that ELOHIM is true. 34 For HE whom ELOHIM has sent speaks the Words OF ELOHIM. For ELOHIM does not give the Spirit in measure. 35 THE FATHER loves THE SON and HE has given all things into His hands. 36 Whoever believes in THE SON has eternal life, and he who does not obey THE SON will not see life, but the wrath OF ELOHIM will rise up against him. - 4 JOHN 1 But YEHOSHUA knew that the Phari-sees had heard HE was making many disciples and was baptizing more than John. 2 Though YEHOSHUA was not baptiz-ing, but His disciples. 3 And HE left Judea and came again to Gali¬lee. 4 But it was necessary for HIM to come and pass through Samaria. 5 And HE came to a city of Samaria which is called Shikar, on the side of a field, which Jacob had given to Joseph his son. (Beg. 48: 22 ; Jos. 24: 32). 6 And there was there a spring of water that had belonged to Jacob, and YEHOSHUA was tired from the effort on the road. And HE sat down at the spring, and it was the sixth hour. 7 And a woman came from Samaria to draw water, and YEHOSHUA said to her, “Give ME water to drink.” 8 For His disciples had entered into the city to buy provisions for themselves. 9 And the Samaritan woman said to HIM, “How is it, YOU are a Judean and YOU ask from me to drink, for I am a Samari¬tan woman?” For the Judeans do not as¬sociate with the Samaritans. 10 YEHOSHUA answered and said to her, “If you only you knew what the gift OF ELOHIM is, and who this is WHO says to you, “Give ME to drink,” you would have asked for what HE has, and HE would have given you liv¬ing waters.” 11 This woman said to HIM, “My LORD, you have no bucket and the well is deep. From where are Your living wa-ters?” 12 Why! Are YOU greater than our fa-ther Jacob who gave us this well, and he drank from it, also his children and his sheep? 13 YEHOSHUA answered and said to her, “All who drink from these waters will thirst again. 14 But everyone who drinks from the water that I give to him will not thirst for eternity. But those waters that I give him will be a spring of water in him that will spring up into eternal life. ” 15 This woman said to HIM, “My LORD, give to me from these waters, that I shall not thirst again, nor have to come and draw from here.” 16 YEHOSHUA said to her, “Go call your husband and come here.” 17 She said to HIM, “I have no hus-band.” YEHOSHUA said to her, “You said correctly, ‘I have no husband.’ 18 For you have had five husbands, and this man that is with you now is not your hus¬band. This that you have spoken is truth.” 19 The woman said to HIM, “My LORD, I perceive that you are A PROPHET. 20 “Our forefathers worshipped on this mountain, and YOU say that Jerusa¬lem is the place where it is neces¬sary to wor-ship.” 21 YEHOSHUA said to her, “Woman be-lieve ME that the hour is coming, that nei¬ther on this mountain nor in Jerusa-lem will they worship THE FATHER. 22 You are worshiping what you do not know. WE know what WE are worship-ing: HE who is THE LIFE is from the Judeans. 23 But the hour is coming and now is, when the true worshippers will worship THE FATHER in the Spirit and in the truth for also THE FATHER is seeking such worshippers as these. 24 For ELOHIM is Spirit, and those who worship, they must worship HIM in the spirit and in the truth.” 25 The woman said to HIM, “I know that THE MESSIAH is coming, and when HE comes, HE will teach us all thing.” 26 YEHOSHUA said to her, “I am THE LIVING ELOHIM, I who am speaking with you.” 27 And while HE was speaking, His dis-ciples came and were amazed that HE was speaking with the woman, but no man said, “What are YOU seeking?” or, “Why are YOU speaking with her?” 28 And the women left her water jar and went to the city and told the people, 29 “Come see THE MAN who told me everything that I have done. Is HE THE MESSIAH?” 30 And the people went out from the city and they were coming to HIM. 31 And in the midst of these things His disciples were begging HIM and were saying to HIM, “Our MASTER, eat.” 32 But HE said to them, “I have food to eat of which you do not know.” 33 The disciples were saying among themselves, “Did someone bring HIM some¬thing to eat?” 34 YEHOSHUA said to them, “My food is that I do the will OF HIM who sent ME, and that I complete His work. 35 Do you not say, “After four months the harvest will come?” Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and behold the fields that are white and have ripened for the harvest already. 36 And whoever reaps receives wages and he gathers fruits unto life that is eternal. And the sower and the reaper will rejoice to¬gether. 37 For in this is a Word of truth, “One sows and another reaps.” 38 I have sent you to reap the thing for which you have not done labor, for oth-ers tired and you have entered into their labor.” 39 And many Samaritans from that city believed in HIM because of the word of that woman who had testified, “HE told me everything which I have done.” 40 And when those Samaritans came to HIM, they were beseeching HIM that HE remain with them. And HE remained with them for two days. 41 And many believed in HIM because of His Word. 42 And they were saying to that woman, “From henceforth it is not because of your word that we believe in HIM, for we have heard and we know that THIS ONE is truly THE MESSIAH, THE SAVIOR of the world.” 43 And after two days, YEHOSHUA went out from there and went to Galilee. 44 For YEHOSHUA had been testifying that a prophet is not honored in his own city. 45 And when HE came to Galilee, the Galileans received HIM because they saw all the miracles that HE did in Jeru-salem during the feast, for they had also come to the feast. 46 And YEHOSHUA came again to Cana of Galilee, where HE had made the water into wine. And in Capernaum there was a servant of a certain king whose son was sick. 47 This man heard that YEHOSHUA was coming from Judea to Galilee, and he went to HIM and was imploring HIM to come down and heal his son, for he was near to dying. 48 YEHOSHUA said to him, “If you do not see miracles and wonders, you will not believe!” 49 That servant of the king said to HIM, “My LORD come down before the boy dies.” 50 YEHOSHUA said to him, “Go, your son is alive.” And that man believed in the Word that YEHOSHUA spoke to him, and he departed. 51 And while he was going down, his servants met him and brought him hope and said to him, “Your son lives!” 52 And he asked them, at what time he was made whole? And they said to him, “Yester¬day at the seventh hour the fever left him.” 53 And his father recognized that it was in that same hour that YEHOSHUA said to him, “Your son lives.” And he and his house all believed. 54 Again this is the second miracle that YEHOSHUA did when HE came from Judea to Galilee. - 5 JOHN 1 After these things there was a feast of the Judeans and YEHOSHUA went up to Je¬rusalem. 2 Now there was a certain place of bap-tism there in Jerusalem, which is called in Hebrew Byth-hesda (Be¬thesda), and there were in it five porches. 3 And in these were lying many peo¬ple who were sick and the blind and the lame and crippled and they were await-ing the moving of the water. 4 For an angel from time to time de-scended to the place of baptism and moved the water for them, and whoever descended first after the moving of the waters, was healed of what¬ever sickness he had. 5 But there was there a certain man who was in sickness thirty and eight years. 6 YEHOSHUA saw this man who was ly¬ing there, and HE knew that he had this disease for a long time, and HE said to him, “Do you desire to be cured?” 7 That sick man answered and said, “Oh my LORD, there is no one to put me in the baptismal when the water is moved, but while I am coming, an¬other goes down before me.” 8 YEHOSHUA said to him, “Arise! Take your pallet and walk.” 9 And immediately that man was healed and he stood up took his pallet, and walked, and it was the Sabbath day. 10 And the Judeans said to him who was healed, “It is Sabbath, you are not per- mit¬ted to carry your pallet.” 11 But he answered and said to them, “HE who made me well, HE said to me, ‘Take your pallet and walk.’ ” 12 And they asked him, “Who is THIS MAN who said to you, ‘Take up your pal¬let and walk?’ ” 13 But he that has been healed did not know who YEHOSHUA was, for HE was pressed in by a great crowd that was in that place. 14 After some time, YEHOSHUA found him in the temple and said to him, “Be-hold, you are well again, do not sin, lest something worse than before should happen to you.” 15 And that man departed and said to the Judeans that YEHOSHUA was THE ONE who had made him whole. 16 And because of this, the Judeans were per¬secuting YEHOSHUA and were seek¬ing to kill HIM, because HE did these things on the Sabbath. 17 But YEHOSHUA said to them, “My FATHER works until this hour, and I am also working.” 18 And because of this the Judeans were seeking all the more to kill HIM, not only because HE had broken the Sab¬bath, but also because HE said that ELOHIM was HIS FATHER, saying HE even was equal with ELOHIM. 19 But YEHOSHUA answered and said to them, “Timeless truth I tell you: THE SON cannot do anything of His own will, but the thing HE sees THE FATHER do-ing, for those things that THE FATHER does, these also THE SON does like HIM. 20 For THE FATHER loves THE SON and HE shows to HIM everything HE does, and greater deeds than these HE will show HIM, so that you will marvel. 21 For as THE FATHER raises the dead and gives life to them, likewise also THE SON will make alive those whom HE wills. 22 For THE FATHER does not judge anyone, but all judgment HE has given TO THE SON, 23 so that everyone shall honor THE SON as he honors THE FATHER. He who does not honor THE SON does not honor THE FATHER who sent HIM. 24 Truly, truly, timeless truth I speak to you: Whoever hears My Word and believes in HIM who sent ME has eter-nal life, and does not come into judg-ment, but has passed from death into life. 25 Truly, truly, timeless truth I speak to you. The hour is coming, and even now is, when the dead will hear the voice OF THE SON OF ELOHIM, and those who hear it will live. 26 For as THE FATHER has the life in Himself, so HE has given also TO THE SON to have the life in Himself. 27 And HE gave HIM authority to also execute judgment, because HE is THE SON of Man. 28 Do not marvel at this for the hour is coming when all those who are in the graves will hear HIS voice! 29 And those who have done good things will go forth to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil things to the resurrection of judgment. 30 I cannot do anything of My own will, but according to that which I have heard, I judge, and My judgment is just, for I do not seek My will, but the will OF HIM who has sent ME. 31 And if I testify concerning Myself, My testimony is not true. 32 There is ANOTHER who testifies about ME, and I know that His testi-mony, which HE testifies concern¬ing ME, is true. 33 John was sent to you and he testified concerning the truth. 34 And I did not receive testimony from man, but I say these things that you may live. 35 That man was a lamp that shone and brought light, and you desired to delight for an hour in his light. 36 But I have a testimony that is greater than that of John. For the works that MY FATHER gave to ME to complete them, those works that I do testify concerning ME that THE FATHER has sent ME. 37 And THE FATHER who sent ME testifies about ME. You have never heard His voice nor have you seen His appearance. 38 And His Word is not abiding in you, because you do not believe in HIM whom HE has sent. 39 Search in the Tanac, be¬cause in it you think that you have eternal life, and it testify concern¬ing ME. 40 And you are not willing to come to ME, that you may have eter¬nal life. 41 I do not receive praises from the sons of men. 42 But I know you, that the love OF ELOHIM is not in you! 43 I have come IN THE NAME OF MY FATHER, and you do not receive ME. But if another will come in his own name, you will receive him. (Isa. 28: 14, 15 ; Dan. 11: 14). 44 How can you believe, who receives praises one from another, and the glory from THE ONE ELOHIM you are not seeking? 45 Why do you think that I will accuse you before THE FATHER? There is one who accuses you, Moses, he in whom you hope! 46 For if only you had believed in Moses, you would also believe in ME, for Moses wrote concerning ME. (Beg. 49: 10 ; Ret. 18: 15). 47 And if you do not believe the writ¬ings of that man, how will you believe My Words? 6 JOHN 1 After these things, YEHOSHUA went to the other side of the Sea of Galilee, (of Ti¬berius). 2 And a great crowd went after HIM, be-cause they had seen the miracles which HE did for the sick. 3 And YEHOSHUA went up to a moun-tain and sat down there with His disci-ples. 4 And the feast of the Pesach of the Judeans was approaching. 5 And YEHOSHUA raised His eyes and saw great crowds that came to HIM, and HE said to Philipus, “Where can we buy bread that these people may eat?” 6 And HE said this testing him, for HE knew what HE was going to do. 7 Philipus said to HIM, “Two hundred de¬narii worth of bread would not suffi¬ce them, even if each of them would take a little!” 8 Andraeus, one of His disciples, the brother of Shimon Kaypha said to HIM, 9 “There is here a certain boy who has with him five loaves of barley and two fish, but what are they for all those peo-ple?” 10 YEHOSHUA said to them, “Make all the people to sit down.” Now there was much grass there, and the number of the men that sat down was five thou¬sand. 11 And YEHOSHUA took the bread and blessed it and distributed it to them who were seated down and thus also the fish as much as they desired. 12 And when they were satiated, HE said to His disciples, “Gather the fragments that are left over, so that nothing will be wasted.” 13 And they gathered them and they counted twelve baskets of fragments, those that were left over from those who ate from the five loaves of barley-bread. 14 And those who saw the miracle that YEHOSHUA did were saying, “Truly THIS is THE PROPHET who has come into the world.” (Ret. 18: 15). 15 But YEHOSHUA knew that they were about to come and seize HIM and make HIM KING, and HE slipped away to a mountain to be by Himself. 16 And when evening came, His disci-ples went down to the lake. 17 And they sat in a boat and were go¬ing to the other side to Capernaum. And it be¬came dark, and YEHOSHUA had not come to them. 18 Now the lake rose up against them, be¬cause a great wind was blowing. 19 And they drove about twenty-five or thirty furlongs (5 to 6 km) and they saw YEHOSHUA while HE was walk¬ing on the lake. And when HE drew near to their boat they were afraid. 20 But YEHOSHUA, said to them: “I am THE LIVING ELOHIM, Do not be afraid.” 21 And they wanted to receive HIM into the boat, and at that hour that boat was at that land to which they were going. 22 And on the following day the crowd that had stood on the shore of the lake, saw that no other boat was there except that one on which the disci¬ples had gone up into it, and that YESHUA had not entered with His disci¬ples into the boat. 23 But other ships had come from Ti¬be-rius near that place at which they had eaten when YEHOSHUA blessed the bread. 24 And when the crowds saw that YEHOSHUA was not there, neither His disci¬ples, they went up into these ships and they came to Capernaum and were seeking YEHOSHUA. 25 And when they found HIM at the other side of the lake, they said to HIM, “Our MASTER, when did YOU come here?” 26 YEHOSHUA answered and said to them, “Truly, truly, timeless truth I speak to you: You seek ME not because you saw mira¬cles, but because you ate bread and were sati¬ated. 27 Do not labor for food that perishes, but for food that endures to the life that is eternal, that which THE SON of Man will give you, for THIS MAN ELOHIM THE FATHER has sealed.” 28 They said to HIM, “What shall we do to work the deeds OF ELOHIM?” 29 YEHOSHUA answered and said to them, “This is the work OF ELOHIM that you shall believe in HIM whom HE has sent.” 30 They said to HIM, “What miracle will YOU perform that we may see and be-lieve in YOU? What will YOU per¬form? 31 Our fathers ate manna in the wilder-ness as it is written, “HE gave them bread from heaven to eat.” (Dep. 16: 4, 15). 32 YEHOSHUA said to them, “Truly, truly, timeless truth I speak to you. It was not Moses who gave you bread from heaven, but MY FATHER Who gives you THE TRUE BREAD from heaven. 33 For the bread OF ELOHIM is HE who descended from heaven and gives life to the world.” 34 They were saying to HIM, “Our LORD always give to us this bread.” 35 YEHOSHUA said to them, “I am THE LIVING ELOHIM, THE BREAD OF LIFE, whoever comes to ME will not hunger, and whoever be¬lieves in ME will never thirst. 36 But I have said to you that you have seen ME, and you do not believe. 37 All whom MY FATHER has given to ME will come, and whoever will come to ME I will not cast outside! 38 For I came down from heaven, not to do My will, but to do the will of HIM who sent ME. 39 And this is His will of HIM who sent ME, that all that HE has given to ME I do not lose even one. 40 For this is the will OF MY FATHER, that all who see THE SON and believe in HIM, will have eternal life, and I will raise him up in the last day.” 41 But the Judeans were murmuring against HIM, because HE said, “I am THE LIVING ELOHIM, THE BREAD which has descended from heaven.” 42 And they were saying, “Is THIS not YEHOSHUA, THE SON of Joseph, HIM whom we know His father and mother? How does THIS MAN say, ‘I have come down from heaven?’ ” 43 YEHOSHUA answered and said to them, “Do not mutter one with another. 44 No man can come to ME unless THE FATHER who has sent ME will draw him. And I will raise him up in the last day. 45 For it is written in the prophets, “All of them will be taught OF YAHWEH. Eve-ryone there¬fore who has heard from THE FATHER and has learned from HIM, comes to ME. (Isa. 54: 13 ; Jer. 31: 34). 46 No man has seen THE FATHER, ex-cept HE who is from ELOHIM; HE Himself has seen THE FATHER. 47 Truly, truly, timeless truth I speak to you: “Whoever believes in ME has eter-nal life.” 48 I AM THE LIVING ELOHIM, THE BREAD OF LIFE. 49 Your forefathers ate manna in the wilderness and they died. 50 THIS is THE BREAD that came down from heaven, that a man may eat of IT and he will not die. 51 I am THE LIVING ELOHIM, THE LIVING BREAD Who has come down from heaven, and if a man will eat OF THIS BREAD, he will live for eternity. And the bread that I will give is My body, which I give for the sake of the life of the world.” 52 But the Judeans were arguing with one another and saying, “How can THIS MAN give us His body to eat?” 53 And YEHOSHUA said to them, “Truly, truly, timeless truth I say to you: Unless you eat the body OF THE SON of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves. 54 And whoever eats of My body and drinks of My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up in the last day. 55 For My body is the true food and My blood is the true drink. 56 Whoever eats My body and drinks My blood abides in ME, and I in him. 57 As THE LIVING FATHER has sent ME, and I am living because OF THE FATHER, whoever will eat ME, he also will live because of ME. 58 THIS is THE BREAD that came down from heaven. It is not as your fore¬fathers who ate manna and have died. Whoever eats THIS BREAD will live eter¬nally!” 59 These things HE said when HE taught in the syna¬gogue in Capernaum. 60 And many of His disci¬ples who heard it said, “This saying is hard, who is able to hear it?” 61 But YEHOSHUA knew in His soul that His disciples were murmuring about this, and HE said to them, “Does this of-fend you? 62 Truly you will see therefore THE SON of Man ascending to the place where HE was from the first. 63 It is the Spirit that gives life; the body does not benefit anything. The Words that I speak with you are Spirit and they are life. 64 But there are some of you who do not believe.” For YEHOSHUA Himself knew from the beginning who they were who were not be¬lieving, and who would be¬tray HIM. 65 And HE had said to them, “Because of this I said to you that no man can come to ME unless it has been given to him from MY FATHER.” 66 Because of this saying, many of His disciples turned back and were not walk-ing with HIM. 67 And YEHOSHUA said to His twelve, “Do you also desire to leave?” 68 Shimon Kaypha an¬swered and said: “My LORD, to whom shall we go? YOU have the Words of eternal life. 69 And we believe and know that YOU are THE MESSIAH, THE SON OF THE LIVING ELOHIM!” 70 YEHOSHUA said to them, “Have I not chosen you twelve, and is not one of you a Satan?” 71 HE was speaking now concerning Ju-das, the son of Shimon Scariota, for he was going to be¬tray HIM, being one of the twelve. 7 JOHN 1 After these things YEHOSHUA was walking in Galilee, for HE did not desire to walk in Judea because the Judeans were seeking to kill HIM. 2 And the feast of the Succos (Feast of Huts) of the Judeans was near. (Pri. 23: 34 - 36). (Not feast of tabernacles). 3 And His brothers said TO YEHOSHUA, “Depart from here and go to Judea, that your disciples may see the works that YOU do. 4 For no man does anything in secret and wants it to be done openly. If YOU are doing these things, show Your¬self to the people.” 5 For not even His brothers be¬lieved in HIM, IN YEHOSHUA. 6 YEHOSHUA said to them, “My time has not yet come until now, but your time is here at all moments. 7 The world cannot hate you, but it hat-es ME, because I am testifying against it, that its works are evil. 8 You go up to this feast. I will not go to this feast now, because My time is not yet finished.” 9 HE said these things, and HE remained in Galilee. 10 But when His brothers went up to the feast, then HE also went up, not openly but as in secret. 11 But the Judeans were looking for HIM at the feast and were saying, “Where is HE?” 12 And there was much murmuring among the crowds because of HIM, for there were those who said, “HE is good,” and others were saying, “No, but HE de-ceives the people.” 13 But no man spoke openly about HIM because of the fear of the Judeans. 14 Now when the middle of the days of the feast had arrived, YEHOSHUA came up to the tem¬ple and HE was teaching. 15 And the Judeans were astonished and were saying, “How does THIS MAN know the scrolls, since HE has not learned them?” 16 YEHOSHUA answered and said, “My teaching is not mine, but from HIM who has sent ME. 17 Whoever is willing to do His will un-der¬stands My teaching, if it is from ELOHIM, or if I speak from My own will. 18 Who speaks from his own mind seeks glory for himself, but HE who seeks the glory of HIM who sent HIM is true and there is no injustice in his heart. 19 Did not Moses give you the Torah? And yet no one among you keeps the To¬rah? 20 Why do you want to kill ME?” The crowd answered and said, “YOU have a devil! Who wants to kill YOU?” 21 YEHOSHUA answered and said to them, “One work I have done and all of you are astonished! 22 Because of this Moses gave circumci-sion to you. It was not because it was from him, but from the patri¬archs, yet you circumcise a son on the day of the Sabbath. 23 So if a man is circumcised on the day of the Sab¬bath so that the Torah of Moses may not be loosed, why do you murmur against ME because of the man I have made whole on the day of the Sab¬bath? 24 Do not judge with hypocrisy, but judge with a just judgment.” 25 And the men from Jerusalem were say¬ing, “Is THIS not THE MAN that they want to kill? 26 And behold, HE speaks openly, and they do not say anything to HIM, why? Do our elders know that THIS is truly THE MESSIAH? 27 But we know from where THIS MAN is. When THE MESSIAH comes, no man will know from where HE is.” 28 And YEHOSHUA lifted up His voice while HE taught in the temple saying, “You know both ME and where I am from, you! And I did not come from My own will, but HE who has sent ME is true, HE whom you do not know. 29 But I know HIM, because I am from His presence and HE has sent ME. 30 And they wanted to seize HIM, yet no man laid hands on HIM, because His time had not yet come. 31 And many of the crowds believed in HIM and said, “When THE MESSIAH comes, what more than these miracles that THIS MAN does will HE do?” 32 And the Pharisees heard the crowd who said these things about HIM, and the chief priests sent guards that they might seize HIM. 33 And YEHOSHUA said, “A little time again I am with you, and I will go to HIM who sent ME. 34 And you will seek ME and you will not find ME, and where I am you can-not come.” 35 And the Judeans said among themsel-ves, “Where is THIS MAN about to go that we cannot find HIM? Is HE about to go to the countries of the Gentiles and teach the pagans? 36 What is this teaching that HE said, “You will seek ME and you will not find ME, and where I am you cannot come?” 37 Now on the greatest day, which is the last day of the feast, YEHOSHUA stood and called out, and said, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to ME and drink. 38 Everyone who believes in ME as the Tanac has said, rivers of living water will flow from within him.” 39 And this HE said concerning the Spirit, that they were about to receive, those who believe in HIM, for the Spirit had not yet been given, because YEHOSHUA had not yet been glori-fied. 40 And many from the crowds who heard His Words were saying, “This is truly A PROPHET.” 41 Others were saying, “THIS is THE MESSIAH,” and others said, “Will THE MESSIAH come from Galilee? 42 Does the Tanac not say that from the seed of David and from Bethlehem, the village of David THE MESSIAH will come?” (Mic. 5: 1). 43 And division was occurring in the crowd because of HIM. 44 And there were people among them who wanted to seize HIM, but no man laid hands on HIM. 45 And those guards returned to the chief priests and the Pharisees, and the priests said to them, “Why have you not brought HIM?” 46 The guards were saying to them, “Never in this manner has a man spoken like THIS MAN speaks!” 47 The Pharisees said to them, “Why, even you are deceived! 48 No one of the leaders or of the Phari-sees believed in HIM, 49 except this people who do not know the Torah and are accursed.” 50 Nicodemus, one of them, he who had come TO YEHOSHUA at night, said to them, 51 “Why? Our Torah does not condemn a son of man unless it hears from him first and knows what he has done?” 52 And they answered and said to him, “Why, are you also from Galilee? Search in the Tanac and see; the Prophet will not rise from Galilee.” Not in Aramaic texts 7: 53 to 8: 11. 53 And everyone went to his own house. - 8 JOHN (Verses 1 to 11 are only in later texts). 1 And YEHOSHUA went to the Mount of Olives. And in the morning HE came again to the temple. 2 And all the people came to HIM; and when HE sat, HE taught them. 3 But the scribes and the Phari¬sees brought a woman who had been seized in adultery; and they made her stand in the midst. 4 They were saying to HIM, “TEACHER, this woman was seized openly in the act of adultery. 5 But in the Torah of Moses, he com-manded that we shall stone such as these.” 6 “What therefore do YOU say?” This they said, as they were tempting HIM, so that they might have something for which to accuse HIM. But YEHOSHUA bent down and wrote on the ground. 7 But as they persisted to ask HIM, HE stood up and HE said to them, “He among you who is without sin, let him first cast a stone upon her.” 8 And stooping down again, HE wrote on the ground. 9 But when they heard this, they left one by one beginning from the elders; and the woman who had been in the midst was left alone. 10 But when HE stood up, YEHOSHUA said to the woman, “Where are they? Has no man condemned you?” 11 But she said, “Not even one, LORD.” And YEHOSHUA said, “Even I am not condemning you. Go and from now on, sin no more.” 12 Now YEHOSHUA spoke to them again and said, “I am THE LIVING ELOHIM, THE LIGHT of the world. Whoever follows ME will not walk in darkness, but he shall find the light of life for himself. 13 The Pharisees were saying to HIM, “YOU are testifying about Yourself, Your testi¬mony is not true.” 14 YEHOSHUA answered and said to them, “Even if I testify about Myself, My testimony is true. Be¬cause I know from where I have come and where I am going, but you do not know from where I have come, nor to where I am going. 15 You judge carnally; I do not judge anyone. 16 Yet if I do judge now, My judgment is true because I am not alone, but I and MY FATHER who sent ME. 17 And in your Torah it is written that the testimony of two men is true. 18 I am THE LIVING ELOHIM, I who testify about Myself, and MY FATHER Who has sent ME testifies about ME. 19 They were saying to HIM, “Where is YOUR FATHER?” YEHOSHUA an-swered and said to them, “You know neither ME nor MY FATHER. If you would have known ME, you would have known MY FATHER also. 20 These Words HE spoke in the treas-ury while HE taught in the temple and no man seized HIM, for His hour had not yet come. 21 YEHOSHUA again said to them, “I will go and you will seek ME, and you will die in your sins. And where I will go you cannot come.” 22 The Judeans were saying, “Why in-deed will HE kill himself, that HE says, “Where I will go you cannot come.” 23 And HE said to them, “You are from below, and I am from above. You are from this world. I am not from this world. 24 I said to you that you will die in your sins, for unless you will believe that I am THE LIVING ELOHIM, you will die in your sins!” 25 The Judeans were saying, “Who are YOU?” YEHOSHUA said to them, “Even though I have be¬gun to speak with you. 26 I have much to say against you and to judge, but HE who has sent ME is true and those things that I have heard from HIM, these things I am speaking in the world. 27 And they did not know that HE spoke to them about THE FATHER. 28 YEHOSHUA said again to them, “When you exalt THE SON of Man, then you will recognize that I am THE LIVING ELOHIM, and I do nothing of My own will, but as MY FATHER has taught ME, so I am speaking. 29 And HE who has sent ME is with ME and does not leave ME alone, because MY FATHER is pleased at all times with the things that I do.” 30 While HE was speaking these things, many believed in HIM. 31 And YEHOSHUA said to those Judeans who believed in HIM, “If you will abide in My Words, truly you are My disciples. 32 And you will know the truth and that truth will set you free.” 33 They said to HIM, “We are the seed of Abraham and we have never served in bondage to anyone. How do YOU say that you will be free men? 34 YEHOSHUA said to them, “Truly, truly, timeless truth I speak to you, who-ever com¬mits sin is the servant of sin. 35 And a servant does not remain always in the house, but a son remains always. 36 If therefore THE SON makes you free, you will be free people. 37 I know that you are the seed of Abra-ham, but you seek to kill ME, because you are not open to My Word. 38 What I have seen MY FATHER do, I speak to you. And whatever you have seen by your father, you do.” 39 They answered and said to HIM, “Our father is Abraham.” YEHOSHUA said to them, “If you are sons of Abra-ham, you would do the deeds of Abra-ham! 40 But now behold, you seek to kill ME, A MAN who truthfully spoke with you, that which I heard from ELOHIM. This Abra¬ham did not do! 41 But you are doing the deeds of your father.” They said to HIM, “We do not come from fornication; we have ONE FATHER, ELOHIM.” 42 YEHOSHUA said to them, “If ELOHIM were your FATHER, you would love ME. For I have gone out from ELOHIM and I have not come of My own will, but HE sent ME. 43 And why do you not understand My Word? Because you can¬not hear My Word! 44 You are from your father the devil and the lusts of your father you want to do, who from the beginning has been killing men and he does not stand in the truth be¬cause there is no truth in him. When he speaks a falsehood of him¬self, he speaks be¬cause he is a liar, even its fa¬ther! 45 But because I speak the truth, you do not believe ME! 46 Who among you rebukes ME con- cern¬ing sin? And if I speak the truth, why do you not believe ME? 47 He who is from ELOHIM hears the Words OF ELOHIM, therefore you are not hearing because you are not from ELOHIM!” 48 The Judeans answered and said to HIM, “Did we not say correctly, that you are a Samaritan and you have a demon in YOU!” 49 YEHOSHUA said to them, “There is no demon in ME, but I honor MY FATHER and you curse ME! 50 And I do not seek My honor. There is HE who seeks and judges! 51 Truly, truly, timeless truth I speak to you, whoever keeps My Words will never see death!” 52 The Judeans said to HIM, “Now we know that you have a demon! Abraham and the prophets died, and you say, ‘He who keeps My Word will not taste death for ever!’ 53 Why, are you greater than our fa¬ther Abraham and the prophets who died? Who are YOU making Yourself? ” 54 YEHOSHUA said to them, “If I honor Myself, My praise is nothing; it is MY FATHER who glorifies ME, HE OF WHOM you said, ‘HE is our ELOHIM.’ 55 And you do not know HIM, but I know HIM. And if I say that I do not know HIM, I would be a liar like your-selves, but I know HIM and I keep His Word. 56 Abraham your father desired to see My day; and he saw it and rejoiced!” 57 The Judeans said to HIM, “YOU are not yet fifty years old, and yet YOU have seen Abraham.” (Jn. 17: 24). 58 YEHOSHUA said to them, “Truly, truly, timeless truth I say to you: Before Abraham existed, I was, THE LIVING ELOHIM.” 59 And they picked up stones to stone HIM, and YEHOSHUA hid Himself and departed from the temple and passed through their midst and left. - 9 JOHN 1 And as HE passed, HE saw a man who was blind since his mother's womb. 2 And His disciples asked HIM and said, “Our MASTER, who had sinned, this man or his parents that he was born blind?” 3 YEHOSHUA said to them, “Nei¬ther he nor his parents have sinned, but that the work OF ELOHIM might be seen in him. 4 It is necessary for ME to do the works of HIM who has sent ME while it is day-time. The night is coming when no man can work. 5 As long as I am in the world, I am THE LIGHT of the world!” 6 And when HE said these things HE spat on the ground and mixed clay with His saliva and HE rubbed it upon the eyes of that blind man. 7 And HE said to him, “Go wash in the baptismal pool of Shilokha.” And he went and washed and he came seeing! 8 Now his neighbors and those who had seen him from the beginning beg¬ging were saying, “Is this not he who was sit-ting and beg¬ging?” 9 There were some who were saying that it was he and there were some who were saying, “No, but he closely resembles him,” but he was saying, “I am he!” 10 They were saying to him, “How were your eyes opened?” 11 He answered and said to them: “A MAN whose NAME is YEHOSHUA made clay and rubbed it upon my eyes. And HE said to me, ‘Go and wash in the water of Shilokha,’ and I went and I washed and I began to see!” 12 They said to him, “Where is HE?” He said to them, “I do not know?” 13 And they brought him, he who was blind from the beginning, to the Phari-sees. 14 It was now the Sabbath when YEHOSHUA made the clay and opened his eyes. 15 And again the Pharisees asked him, “How is it that you see?” And he said to them, “HE placed clay upon my eyes and I washed and I can see.” 16 Some of the Pharisees were saying: “THIS MAN is not from ELOHIM, HE who does not keep the Sabbath!” But others were saying, “How is a sinful man able to do these miracles?” And there was a division among them. 17 They said again to that blind man, “What do you say about HIM who opened your eyes?” He said to them, “I say that HE is A PROPHET!” 18 But the Judeans did not believe con-cerning him that he was blind and yet he saw, until they called the parents of him who was seeing. 19 And they asked them, “Is this your son, of whom you say that he was born blind, how is it that he now sees?” 20 And his parents answered and said, “We know that this is our son and that he was born blind. 21 But how he sees now or who opened his eyes, we do not know. He is of age; ask him, he will speak for himself.” 22 His parents said these things because they were afraid of the Judeans, for the Judeans had decided that if anyone would confess HIM that HE is THE MESSIAH, they would cast him out of the assembly. 23 Because of this, his parents said, “He is of age, ask him!” 24 And they called the man a second time who had been blind and they were saying to him, “Give glory TO ELOHIM, for we know that THIS MAN is a sinner.” 25 He answered and said to them, “If HE is a sinner, I do not know, but one thing I do know: That I was blind and behold now I see!” 26 Again they said to him, “What did HE do to you? How did HE open your eyes?” 27 He said to them, “I have told you, yet you have not listened! Again, what do you want to hear? Do you also want to be¬come His disciples?” 28 And they reviled him and said to him, “You are His disciple, for we are disci¬ples of Moses. 29 And we know that ELOHIM spoke with Moses. But THIS MAN, we do not know from where HE is.” 30 That man answered and said to them, “In this therefore is something to marvel at, that you do not know from where HE is, yet my eyes HE opened. 31 We know now that ELOHIM does not listen to the voice of sinners, but HE hears the one who fears HIM and does His will. 32 From eternity it has not been heard that someone opened the eyes of one who was born blind. 33 If THIS MAN would not be from ELOHIM, HE would not be able to do this.” 34. They answered and said to him, “You were born entirely in sins, and you teach us!” And they cast him outside. 35 And YEHOSHUA heard that they had cast him outside, and HE found him and said to him, “Do you believe IN THE SON OF ELOHIM?” 36 He who had been healed answered and said, “Who is HE my LORD that I may believe in HIM?” 37 YEHOSHUA said to him, “You have seen HIM and HE who is speaking with you is HE.” 38 And he said, “I believe my LORD,” and he fell down and worshipped HIM. 39 And YEHOSHUA said to him, “For the judgment of the world I have come, that those who do not see may see, and those who see may become blind. 40 And some of the Pharisees who were with HIM heard these things, and said to HIM, “Why, are we also blind?” 41 YEHOSHUA said to them, “If you were only blind, you would have no sin, but now you say, ‘We see,” because of this your sin stands.’ ” - 10 JOHN THE GOOD SHEPHERD 1 “Truly, truly, timeless truth I speak to you: That whoever does not enter into the sheepfold of the flock by the gate, but climbs up by an¬other place, he is a thief and a robber. 2 But he who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the flock. 3 And to this man the gatekeeper opens the gate, and the flock hears his voice, and he calls his sheep by their names and he leads them out. 4 And when he leads out his flock he goes before it and his sheep go after him, because they know his voice. 5 But the flock does not go after a stranger, but flees from him because it does not know the voice of a stranger.” 6 YEHOSHUA told them this parable, but they did not understand what HE spoke to them. 7 Now YEHOSHUA again said to them, “Truly, truly, timeless truth I speak to you: I am THE LIVING ELOHIM, THE GATE of the flock. 8 And all those who have come are thieves and robbers, but the flock did not hear them. 9 I am THE LIVING ELOHIM, THE GATE, anyone who enters through ME will live and will go in and out and he will find pas¬ture. 10 But a thief does not come, except to steal and kill and destroy. I have come that they may have life, and have it abun¬dantly. 11 I am THE LIVING ELOHIM, THE GOOD SHEPHERD. THE GOOD SHEPHERD lays down His life for His flock. 12 But a hireling who is not the shep¬herd nor are the sheep his, when he sees a wolf coming, leaves the sheep and flees. 13 Now the hireling flees because he is hired and he does not care about the flock. And the wolf comes and snatches and scatters the flock. 14 I am THE LIVING ELOHIM, THE GOOD SHEPHERD and I know those who are Mine and those who are Mine know ME. 15 So as MY FATHER knows ME and I also know MY FATHER and I lay down My life for the sake of the flock. 16 And I also have other sheep, those who were not from this sheepfold. And also them, it is necessary for ME to bring them, and they will hear My voice and all the flocks will become one. And there will be ONE SHEPHERD. 17 Because of this, MY FATHER loves ME that I lay down My life that I might take it up again. 18 No man takes it from ME, but I lay it down by My own will. For I have au-thority to lay it down and I have au- thor¬ity to take it up again, for this com-mandment I have received from MY FATHER.” 19 And a division occurred again among the Judeans because of these Words. 20 And many of them were saying, “He has a demon and is insane. Why are you listening to HIM?” 21 But others were saying, “These are not the words of a possessed man. How can a demon open the eyes of the blind?” 22 And the Feast of Dedication occurred in Jerusalem, and it was winter. 23 And YEHOSHUA was walking in the temple in the porch of Solomon. 24 And the Judeans surrounded HIM and said to HIM, “How long will YOU hold our souls? If you are THE MESSIAH tell us openly” 25 YEHOSHUA answered and said to them, “I have told you, and you do not believe, and the works that I do IN THE NAME OF MY FATHER testify about ME. 26 But you do not believe, because you are not of My sheep, just as I have told you. 27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them and they follow ME. 28 And I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no¬body can snatch them from My hands. 29 For MY FATHER who gave them to ME is greater than all, and no man is able to snatch them out of the hands OF MY FATHER. 30 I and MY FATHER WE are ONE. 31 And again the Judeans took up stones to stone HIM. 32 YEHOSHUA said to them, “Many pleasing works from the presence OF MY FATHER have I shown you. For which of them are you stoning ME? 33 The Judeans said to HIM, “It is not because of the pleasing works that we stone YOU, but because YOU blas-pheme and that while YOU are a son of man, YOU make Yourself ELOHIM!” 34 YEHOSHUA said to them, “Is it not written in your Torah, ‘I have said, “You are gods (Ps. 82: 6). 35 If HE called them gods because the MILTHA (WORD) OF ELOHIM was with them and the Tanac cannot be bro-ken. 36 TO HIM, whom THE FATHER sancti¬fied and sent into the world you say, “YOU blaspheme!” Because I told you that I am THE SON OF ELOHIM. 37 If I do not the works OF MY FATHER, do not believe ME. 38 If however I do them, even if you do not believe ME, believe in the works, so that you may know and believe that MY FATHER is in ME and I am IN MY FATHER”. 39 And they were seeking again to seize HIM, but HE escaped from their hands. 40 And HE went to the crossing of the Jordan, to the place where John had been previously when he was baptizing, and there HE remained 41 And many people came to HIM and were saying that John did not even do one miracle, but everything that John said about THIS MAN is true. 42 And many believed in HIM. - 11 JOHN The resurrection of Lazarus 1 And a certain man from the village of Bethany was sick, Lazarus the brother of Maryam and of Mar¬tha. 2 And this Maryam was the one who had anointed the feet OF YEHOSHUA with ointment and wiped them with her hair. Lazarus who was sick was her brother. 3 And Lazarus who was sick sent both of his sisters TO YESHUA and said, “Our LORD behold, he whom love YOU is sick.” 4 But YEHOSHUA said, “This sickness is not deadly, but for the sake of the glory OF ELOHIM that THE SON OF ELOHIM might be glorified because of him.” 5 Now YEHOSHUA loved Martha and Maryam and Lazarus. 6 And when HE heard that he was sick, HE remained in the place where HE was two days. 7 And after this HE said to His disci¬ples, “Come let us go again to Judea.” 8 His disciples said to HIM, “Our MASTER the Judeans were seeking to stone YOU, and YOU want to go there again now!” 9 YEHOSHUA said to them, “Are there not twelve hours in the day, and if a man walks during the daylight, he will not stumble, because he sees THE LIGHT of this world. 10 But if a man should walk during the night, he will stumble because there is not light in him. 11 YEHOSHUA said these things and after¬wards HE said to them, “Our friend Lazarus is resting, but I will go to wake him.” 12 His disciples said to HIM, “Our LORD, if he is sleeping, he is recovering health?” 13 But YEHOSHUA spoke about his death and they thought HE spoke of sleep. 14 Then YEHOSHUA said to them plain-ly, Lazarus has died. 15 And I am glad that I was not there, be¬cause of you, that you may believe, but let us go there. 16 Then Thomas, who was called the Twin, said to his fellow disciples, “Let us also go and die with HIM.” 17 And YEHOSHUA came to Bethany, and found him to have been in the tomb for four days. 18 Now Bethania was beside Jeru¬sa¬lem, about fifteen furlongs away. (~3 Km). 19 And many of the Judeans were com-ing to Martha and Maryam to comfort their hearts because of their brother. 20 And Martha, when she heard that YEHOSHUA had come, went out to meet HIM, but Maryam was sitting in the house. 21 And Martha said TO YEHOSHUA, “My LORD, if only YOU had been here, my brother would not have died. 22 But even now I know that as much as YOU ask OF ELOHIM, HE will give to YOU.” 23 YEHOSHUA said to her, “Your brother will arise.” 24 Martha said to HIM, “I know that he will rise in the resurrection at the last day.” 25 YEHOSHUA said to her, “I am THE LIVING ELOHIM, THE RESUR- REC¬TION and THE LIFE, whoever believes in ME, even if he dies, he will live! 26 And everyone who lives and believes in ME will not die to eternity. Do you believe this?” 27 She said to HIM, “Yes, my LORD, I believe that YOU are THE MESSIAH, THE SON OF ELOHIM who has come into the world.” 28 And when she had said these things, she went and called her sister Maryam secretly and she said to her, “Our MASTER has come and is calling for you.” 29 And when Maryam had heard, she arose quickly and came quickly to HIM. 30 And YEHOSHUA had not yet come into the village, but HE was yet in that place where Martha had met HIM. 31 And also those Judeans who were with her in the house who were comfort-ing her, when they saw Maryam, that she arose quickly and went out, they fol-lowed her. For they thought that she was going to the grave to weep. 32 But when Maryam came to where YEHOSHUA was, when she saw HIM she fell down at His feet and said to HIM, “If only YOU had been here my LORD, my brother would not have died.” 33 And YEHOSHUA when HE saw her weep¬ing and the Judeans, those who had come with her who were weeping, HE groaned in His spirit and was moved in His soul. 34 And HE said, “Where have you laid him?” And they said to HIM, “Our LORD come and see.” 35 And the tears OF YEHOSHUA did come. 36 And the Judeans were saying, “See how much HE did love him.” 37 And some of them said, “Was it not possible for THIS MAN who opened the eyes of that blind, could HE not have done something also that this man might not have died?” 38 And YEHOSHUA, while HE groaned within Himself, came to them to the tomb. And that tomb was a cave, and a stone was placed at its entrance. 39 And YEHOSHUA said, “Take this stone away.” Martha, the sister of that dead man, said to HIM, “My LORD, it is the fourth day, he stinks already!” 40 YEHOSHUA said to her, “Did I not tell you that if you believe, you will see the glory OF ELOHIM?” 41 And they took away the stone and YEHOSHUA lifted His eyes upwards and said, “FATHER I thank YOU that YOU have heard ME. 42 And I know that YOU always hear ME, but because of this multitude that stands here I say these things that they might believe that YOU have sent ME.” 43 And when HE had said these things, HE called out in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out.” 44 And that dead man came out while his hands and his feet were bound in bandages, and his head bound in a head cloth! YEHOSHUA said to them, “Un-bind him and allow him to go.” 45 And many of the Judeans who had come to Maryam, when they saw the thing that YEHOSHUA did, they be-lieved in HIM. 46 And some of them went to the Phari¬-sees and they told them the thing that YEHOSHUA did. 47 And the chief priests and Pharisees gathered together and were saying, “What will we do, for THIS MAN does many miracles?” 48 And if we allow HIM to do thus, all the people will believe in HIM and the Ro¬mans will come and take away our land and our nation?” 49 Now one of them whose name was Qaiapha who was the high priest in that year, he said to them, “You do not know anything. 50 And you do not realize that it is bet¬ter that one man should die for us for the sake of the nation, than the whole nation should perish.” 51 And this he did not say from his own will because he was the high priest in that year. He prophesied that YEHOSHUA had to die for the sake of the nation. 52 And not only for the sake of the na-tion, but that also the chil¬dren OF ELOHIM who are scattered, that HE might gather them together into one na-tion. 53 And from that day, they de¬cided to kill HIM. 54 But YEHOSHUA did no walk openly among the Judeans, but HE went from there to a region that was near the wil- der¬ness, to a fortress that is called Aprim. And there HE remained with His disciples. 55 Now the Pesach Feast of the Judeans was approaching, and many went up from the villages to Jerusalem before the feast that they might purify themselves. 56 And they were seeking YEHOSHUA, and in the temple they were saying one to another, “What do you think, will HE not come to the feast?” 57 But the chief priests and the Pharisees had commanded that if someone would know where HE was, he should show it to them, so that they might seize HIM. - 12 JOHN 1 Now six days before the Pesach, YEHOSHUA came to Betha¬nia, where Lazarus was, whom YEHOSHUA had raised from the grave. 2 And they made HIM a feast meal, and Mar¬tha was serving and Lazarus was one of the guests who were with HIM. 3 And Maryam took an alabaster vase of very expensive perfume of the choicest nard and anointed the feet OF YEHOSHUA and wiped His feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the ointment. 4 And Judas of Scariota, one of His dis-ci¬ples, he who was about to betray HIM, said, 5 “Why was this oil not sold for three hun¬dred denarii, and given to the poor?” 6 But he said this not because he was concerned about the poor, but because he was a thief; and the money bag was with him, and anything that which fell into it, he carried. 7 But YEHOSHUA said, “Leave her alone, she has kept it for the day of My burial. 8 For you have the poor al¬ways with you, but ME you do not have always.” 9 And great crowds of the Judeans heard that YEHOSHUA was there. And they came not because OF YEHOSHUA alone, but also that they might see Laza-rus, him whom HE had raised from the dead. 10 And the chief priests were also think-ing that they might kill Lazarus. 11 Because of him many of the Judeans were leaving and believed IN YEHOSHUA. 12 And on the next day a great crowd had come to the feast, when they heard that YEHOSHUA was coming to Jerusa-lem, 13 they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet HIM, and were calling out and were saying: “Hosanna! Blessed is HE who comes in THE NAME OF YAHWEH, THE KING of Israel.” 14 And YEHOSHUA found a donkey and sat upon it, as it is written in the Tanac, (Zec. 9: 9). 15 “Do not have fear daughter of Zion. Behold, your KING comes to you and rides on a foal, a colt of a donkey.” 16 But His disciples did not understand these things at that time, but when YEHOSHUA was glorified, then His dis- ci¬ples remembered that these things were written in the Tanac concerning HIM and these things they had done to HIM. 17 And that crowd that was with HIM bore wit¬ness that HE had called Lazarus from the tomb and had raised him from the dead. 18 And because of this, great crowds went out to receive HIM, because they heard that HE did this miracle. 19 But the Pharisees were saying one to another, “Do you see that you don't gain anything, for behold all the world is fol-lowing HIM!” 20 And there were also from the Gentiles some of them who had gone up to wor- ship during the feast. 21 These came and drew near to Philipus, he who was from Beth-Saida of Galilee, and asked him and said to him, “My lord, we desire to see YEHOSHUA.” 22 And Philipus told Andraeus and An-draeus and Philipus told YEHOSHUA. 23 And YEHOSHUA answered and said to them, “The hour has come that THE SON of Man be glorified. 24 Truly, truly, timeless truth I speak to you, unless a grain of wheat falls in the ground and dies, it remains by itself. But if it dies, it yields much fruit. 25 Whoever loves his soul will destroy it; and whoever puts aside his soul in this world will keep it for eter¬nal life. 26 If a man serves ME, he shall come after ME. And where I am, there My servant also will be. Whoever serves ME, THE FATHER will honor him. 27 Behold, My soul is now restless, and what will I say? “MY FATHER deliver ME from this hour?” Much more be-cause of this I have come to this hour! 28 ‘FATHER glorify YOUR NAME.’ And a voice was heard from heaven, “I have glorified it, and again I am glorify¬ing.” 29 And the crowds which was stand¬ing there, heard it and said, “It was thun-der.” But others said, “An angel spoke with HIM.” 30 YEHOSHUA answered and said to them, “This voice did not occur for ME, but it is for you. 31 Now is the judgment of this world. Now the ruler of this world is cast out-side. 32 And when I am elevated up from the earth, I will draw everyone to ME.” 33 And this HE said to show by what kind of death HE was to die. 34 The crowds said to HIM, “We have heard from the Torah that THE MESSIAH remains for eternity. How do YOU say that THE SON of Man is pre-pared to be elevated? Who is THIS SON of Man?” (Ps. 110: 4 ; Dan. 7: 14). 35 YEHOSHUA said to them, “A little time longer THE LIGHT is among you. Walk while you have THE LIGHT, lest the darkness will overtake you; and who¬ever walks in the darkness does not know where he is going. 36 Believe IN THE LIGHT while you have THE LIGHT, that you may be-come the sons OF LIGHT.” YEHOSHUA spoke these things and departed and hid from them. 37 And though HE did all these miracles before them, they did not believe in HIM, 38 that the word of Isaiah the prophet may be fulfilled, who said, “Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm OF YAHWEH been re¬vealed?" (Isa. 53: 1). 39 Because of this they could not be-lieve, because again Isaiah said: 40 For the heart of this peo¬ple is hard-ened and with their ears they are hard of hearing, and their eyes are blinded that they may not see with their eyes and hear with their ears and recognize with their heart and repent and I heal them,’ (Isa. 6: 10). 41 These things Isaiah said when he saw His glory and spoke con¬cerning HIM. 42 And also many of the leaders believed in HIM, but they would not confess be¬cause of the Phari¬sees, lest they would be thrown out of the synagogue. 43 For they loved the praise of men more than the glory OF ELOHIM. 44 But YEHOSHUA cried out and said, “He who believes in ME does not be-lieve in ME but in HIM who sent ME. 45 And he who sees ME sees HIM who sent ME! 46 I have come as THE LIGHT into this world that all who believes in ME might not remain in the darkness! 47 And he who hears My Words, yet does not keep them, I do not judge him, for I have not come to judge the world, but to give life to the world. 48 He who rejects ME, and does not re-ceive My Words, there is something that judges him. The Word that I have spo-ken, it will judge him in the last day. 49. For I have not spoken from My soul, but THE FATHER who sent ME, HE gave a commandment to ME what I shall say and what I shall speak. 50 And I know that His commandments are eternal life. Therefore, these things that I speak just as MY FATHER told ME, thus I speak.” - 13 JOHN 1 Now before the Feast of the Pesach, YEHOSHUA had known that the time that HE would depart this world TO HIS FATHER had arrived. And HE loved His own who were in this world, and HE loved them until the end. 2 And when supper ended, Satan placed it into the heart of Judah, the son of Shimon Scariota that he should betray HIM. 3 But because YEHOSHUA had known that THE FATHER had given every-thing into His hands, and that HE came from ELOHIM and HE was go¬ing TO ELOHIM, 4 HE arose from supper and laid aside His garments and took a cloth and girded His loins. 5 And HE poured water into a basin and began to wash the feet of His disciples, and was wiping them with the cloth that girded His loins. 6 But when HE came to Shimon, Shimon said to HIM, “My LORD, YOU will wash my feet for me?” 7 YEHOSHUA answered and said to him, “The thing that I do, you do not un-der¬stand now, but afterwards you will know.” 8 Shimon Kaypha said to HIM, “YOU will never wash my feet for me.” YEHOSHUA said to him, “Unless I wash you, you have no part with ME!” 9 Shimon Kaypha said to HIM, “In that case my LORD, not only my feet but wash for me also my hands, even my head!” 10 YEHOSHUA said to him, “He who has bathed does not need but to wash only his feet, for all of him is clean. Even all of you are clean, but not all of you!” 11 For YEHOSHUA had known him who would betray HIM. Because of this, HE said, “Not all of you are clean!” 12 And when HE had washed their feet, HE took up His garments and HE re-clined and said to them, “Do you know what I have done to you?” 13 You call ME, “Our MASTER” and “Our LORD;” and well you speak, for I am. 14 Therefore, if I, your LORD and MASTER, have washed your feet for you, how much more ought you to wash the feet of one another. 15. For this exam¬ple I have given to you, that as I have done to you, you shall also do. 16 Truly, truly, timeless truth I speak to you, that there is not a servant who is greater than his lord, nor an apostle who is greater than he who sent him. 17 If you know these things, blessed are you if you will do them. 18 It is not concerning all of you; I speak for those I know whom I have chosen, but that the Tanac might be fulfilled. He who eats bread with ME has lifted his heel against ME. (Ps. 41: 10). 19 From now on I will say to you a thing before it happens, so that when it hap-pens you will believe that I am THE LIVING ELOHIM. 20 Truly, truly, timeless truth I speak to you, that whoever re¬ceives him that I send, receives ME, and whoever receives ME, receives HIM who sent ME. 21 YEHOSHUA said these things and HE groaned in His spirit and HE testified and said, “Truly, truly, timeless truth I speak to you, that one of you will betray ME!” 22. And the disciples looked at each other, because they did not know about whom HE spoke. 23 Now there was one of His disciples who was lying at His breast, he whom YEHOSHUA loved. 24 Shimon Kaypha beck¬oned this one to ask HIM, “Who is he of whom HE spoke about? 25 And that disciple leaned at the breast OF YEHOSHUA and said to HIM, “My LORD, who is this one?” 26 YEHOSHUA answered and said, “The one for whom I dip bread and give it to him. And YEHOSHUA dipped the bread and gave it to Judas, the son of Shimon Scariota. 27 And after the bread, then Satan en-tered into him. And YEHOSHUA said to him, “The thing that you want to do, do it quickly!” 28 But no man of those who reclined un-derstood what HE said to him. 29 For some thought that because of the money bag Judas was carrying, that HE had ex¬pressly com¬manded him to buy what was needed for the feast, or that he might give some¬thing to the poor. 30 Now Judas took the bread and went at once, and he departed when it was night outside. 31 And YEHOSHUA said, “THE SON of Man is now glorified and ELOHIM is glorified in HIM. 32 And if ELOHIM is glorified in HIM, also ELOHIM glorifies HIM in Him¬self, and at once glorifies HIM. 33 My sons, I am with you a little while longer. You will seek ME. And as I said to the Judeans, “Where I go you can¬not come.” And even now I say to you, 34 a new commandment I give to you: “Be loving one to another just as I have loved you, also you shall love one an-other. 35 By this everyone will recognize that you are My disciples if there will be love among you one to an¬other.” 36 Shimon Kaypha said to HIM, “Our LORD, to where are YOU going?” YEHOSHUA answered and said to him, “To where I go, you cannot come now and fol¬low ME, but at the end you will come.” 37 Shimon Kaypha said to HIM, “My LORD, why can I not come after YOU now? I will lay down my life for YOU.” 38 YEHOSHUA said to him, “You will lay down your life for MY sake? Time-less truth I speak to you, that the rooster will not crow three times until you deny ME three times!” - 14 JOHN 1 “Do not let your heart be troubled; be-lieve IN ELOHIM and believe in ME. 2 There are many rooms in MY FATHER'S house, and if not I would have told you so. For I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepared a place for you, I will come again to you and take you with ME, that where I am, you may be also. 4 And you know where I am going and the way you know.” 5 Thomas said to HIM, “Our LORD, we do not know where YOU will go, and how can we know the way?” 6 YEHOSHUA said to him, “I am THE LIVING ELOHIM, I am THE WAY and THE TRUTH and THE LIFE. No human being comes TO THE FATHER except through ME. 7 If only you would have known ME, you would also have known MY FATHER. And from now on you know HIM and you have seen HIM.” 8 Philipus said to HIM, “Our LORD, show us THE FATHER and it will sat¬isfy us.” 9 YEHOSHUA said to him, “I am with you all this time, and you do not know ME Philipus? Whoever sees ME sees THE FATHER, and how do you say, ‘Show us THE FATHER’? 10 Don't you believe that I am IN MY FATHER and MY FATHER is IN ME? These Words that I speak, I do not speak of Myself but HE who dwells in ME, MY FATHER does these works. 11 Believe that I am IN MY FATHER and MY FATHER is in ME; otherwise believe even because of the works. 12 Truly, truly, timeless truth I say to you, that whoever believes in ME, these works that I do, he will do also, and more than these he will do, because I go TO MY FATHER 13 And whatever you ask IN MY NAME, I will do for you that THE FATHER might be glorified BY HIS SON. 14 And if you ask of ME IN MY NAME, I will do it! 15 If you love ME, keep My command-ment. 16 And I will ask OF MY FATHER and HE will give you another Redeemer who will be with you forever. 17 The Spirit of Truth, He whom the world cannot receive, because it has not seen Him, nor does know Him. But you know Him for He dwells with you and He is in you. 18 I will not leave you bereaved, for I will come to you in a little while. 19 And the world will not see ME, but you will see ME. Because I live, you also will live. 20 In that day you will know that I am IN MY FATHER and you are in ME, and I am in you. 21 He who has My commandments with him and keeps them, he is he who loves ME and he who loves ME will be loved BY MY FATHER. And I will love him and reveal Myself to him. 22 Judas (not of Scariota) said to HIM, “My LORD, why is it that YOU will re-veal Yourself to us and not to the world?” 23 YEHOSHUA answered and said to him, “He who loves ME keeps My Word, and MY FATHER will love him, and WE will come to him and will dwell with him. 24 But he who does not love ME does not keep My Word and this Word that you hear is not Mine, but it is OF THE FATHER who sent ME. 25 These things I have spoken among you while I am with you. 26 But the Redeemer, the Holy Spirit, the One whom THE FATHER will send IN MY NAME will teach you eve-rything. And He will remind you of everything that I said to you. 27 Peace I leave to you, I give My own peace to you. It is not as the world gives, do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled and do not have fear. 28 You have heard that I have told you that I go away and I will come to you. If you had only loved ME, you would have rejoiced that I am going to MY FATHER, for MY FATHER is greater than I. 29 And now behold, I have told you be-fore that when it happens, you may be-lieve. 30 Henceforth I will not speak much with you for the ruler of the world comes, he has nothing in ME. 31 But that the world may know that I love MY FATHER, and as MY FATHER has commanded ME, even so I do. Arise, let us depart from here. - 15 JOHN THE MESSIAH THE VINE OF TRUTH 1 I AM THE LIVING ELOHIM, THE VINE OF TRUTH and MY FATHER IS THE CULTIVA¬TOR. 2 Every branch that is in ME that does not yield fruit, HE takes away. And that which yield fruit HE purges it that it may produce more fruit. 3 You are already purged because of the Word which I have spoken to you. 4 Remain in ME and I in you, as the branch cannot yield fruit from itself unless it remains in the vine. Likewise you cannot unless you remain in ME. 5 I am THE LIVING ELOHIM, THE VINE and you are the branches. Who-ever remains in ME and I in him, this one brings forth abundant fruit, be-cause without ME you can do noth¬ing. 6 Unless a man abides in ME, he is cast aside like a branch that is withered, and they pluck it and throw it into the fire that it may burn. 7 If you abide in ME and My Words abide in you, anything that you desire to ask will be given to you. 8 In this THE FATHER is glorified that you will bring forth much fruit and that you will be My disciples. 9 As MY FATHER has loved ME, so also I have loved you. Remain in My love. 10 If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept the commandments OF MY FATHER, and I abide in His love. 11 I have spoken these things to you that My joy may be in you, and that your joy might be full in you. 12 This is My commandment, that you love one another just as I have loved you. 13 There is no love that is greater than this that a man lay down his life for the sake of his friends. 14 You are My friends if you do all that I commanded you. 15 I do not call you servants any longer, because a servant does not know what his lord does. But, I have called you My friends, because every-thing that I have heard from MY FATHER I have made known to you. 16 You have not chosen ME, but I am THE ONE who has chosen you. And I have appointed you that you also shall go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit might remain. That all that you ask OF MY FATHER in MY NAME, HE will give you. 17 These things I command you, that you shall love one another. 18 And if the world hates you, know that it hated ME before you. 19 And if you had been from the world, the world would love its own. But you are not of the world, for I have chosen you from the world. Because of this, the world hates you. 20 Remember the Word which I have spoken to you, that there is no servant who is greater than his master. If they have persecuted ME, they will also per-secute you. And if they have kept My Word, they will also keep yours. 21 But all these things they will do to you because OF MY NAME, for they do not know HIM who has sent ME. 22 If I had not come and spoken to them, their sin would not have been uncovered, but now they have no oblation for their sins. 23 Whoever hates ME also hates MY FATHER. 24 And if I had not done the works be-fore their eyes that no other man has done, they would have no sin. But now they have seen both and have hated both ME and even MY FATHER. 25 That the Word might be fulfilled that is written in their Tanac, “They hated ME without reason.” (Ps. 35: 19 ; 69: 5). 26. But when the Redeemer comes, He whom I will send to you from the pres-ence OF MY FATHER, the Spirit of Truth, He who proceeds from the pres-ence OF MY FATHER, He will testify concerning ME. 27 You will also testify, for you have been with ME from the beginning. - 16 JOHN The promise of the Holy Spirit 1 I have spoken these things to you that you might not stumble. 2 For they will drive you out of their as-semblies and a time will come that all who kill you will think that they offer an offering TO ELOHIM. 3 And they will do these things because they know neither MY FATHER nor Myself. 4 I have spoken these things to you that when their time comes, you might recog-nize that I have told you these things. But I had not told you prior because I was with you. 5 But now I go to HIM who has sent ME. And yet no man among you asks ME, “Where are you going?” 6 For I have told you all these things, and sorrow has come and has filled up your hearts. 7 But I tell you the truth that it is better for you that I go; for if I do not go, the Redeemer will not come to you. But if I go, I will send Him to you. 8 And when He comes, He will convict the world concerning sin and concerning righteousness, and concerning judgment. 9 Concerning sin, because they do not believe in ME. 10 And concerning righteousness be-cause I go TO MY FATHER and you will not see ME again. 11 And concerning judgment because the ruler of this world is judged. 12 Again, I have much to say to you, but you cannot grasp it now. 13 But when the Spirit of Truth comes, He will guide you in all truth. For He will not speak of himself; but He will speak everything that He hears. And fu¬ture things He will make known to you. 14 And He will glorify ME, because He will take of My own and show it to you. 15 Everything that MY FATHER has is Mine. Because of this I have said to you, “He will take of My own and show it to you.” 16 A little while and you will not see ME, and again a little while and you will see ME, because I go TO THE FATHER. ” 17 And His disciples were saying one to another, “What is this that HE said to us, ‘A little while and you will not see ME, and again a little while and you will see ME,’ and that, "I go TO MY FATHER?" 18 And they were saying, “What is this that HE says’ ‘A little while?’ We do not understand what HE says.” 19 But YEHOSHUA knew that they were de¬siring to ask HIM, and HE said to them, “Concerning this you are in-quiring among yourselves that I told you, ‘That a little while and you will not see ME, and again a little while and you will see ME.’ 20 Truly, truly, timeless truth I speak to you that you will weep and you will wail and the world will rejoice. And sadness will be upon you, but your sadness will be changed into joy. 21 When a woman is in labor, sadness is upon her for the day of her delivery has arrived. But when she has given birth to a son, she does not recall her travail, be-cause of the joy that a child has been born into the world. 22 Also now sadness is upon you, but again I will see you and your hearts will re¬joice and nobody can take your joy from you. 23 And in that day you will not ask ME anything. Truly, truly, timeless truth I speak to you, that everything that you ask OF MY FATHER IN MY NAME, HE will give it to you! 24 Until now you have not asked any-thing IN MY NAME. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full. 25 I have spoken these things to you in parables, but the time is coming when I will openly reveal to you concern¬ing THE FATHER. 26 In that day you will ask IN MY NAME, and I will not say that I will be-seech THE FATHER concerning you. 27 For HE, THE FATHER, loves you because you have loved ME and you have believed that I have proceeded from the pres¬ence OF THE FATHER. 28 I proceeded from the presence OF THE FATHER and have come into the world. And again I leave the world and I go TO THE FATHER. 29 His disciples said to HIM, “Behold, now YOU speak openly and YOU speak not even one parable. 30 Now we know that YOU know eve-ry¬thing, and YOU are not in need of a man to ask YOU in this. We believe that YOU have proceeded FROM ELOHIM.” 31 YEHOSHUA said to them, “Believe, 32 for behold, the hour is coming and now has come, when you will be disper-sed every man to his own place. And you will leave ME alone, yet I will not be alone be¬cause THE FATHER is with ME. 33 I have spoken these things to you that in ME there shall be peace to you. In the world there is suffering to you; but take cour¬age, I have conquered the world. - 17 JOHN The prayer OF THE MESSIAH 1 YEHOSHUA spoke these things and HE lifted up His eyes to heaven and said, “MY FATHER the hour has come; glo¬rify YOUR SON so that YOUR SON might glorify YOU. 2 Just as YOU have given HIM au¬thority over all flesh, that whomever YOU have given HIM, HE will give life that is eter-nal. 3 And this is life that is eternal, that they might know YOU, that YOU are THE ONLY TRUE ELOHIM, and HE whom YOU have sent, YEHOSHUA THE MESSIAH. 4 I have glorified YOU on earth. The work that YOU have given to ME to do I have finished it. 5 And now glorify ME MY FATHER with YOU, in the glory that I had with YOU from before the world was. 6 I have revealed YOUR NAME to the children of men, those whom YOU have given ME from the world. They were Yours and YOU have given them to ME, and they have kept Your Word. 7 Now they have known that everything that YOU have given to ME is from YOU. 8 For the Words that YOU gave ME, I have given to them and they have re-ceived them. And they know that I have truly proceeded from Your presence, and they believe that YOU have sent ME. 9 And I pray for them. It is not for the world I pray, but for those whom YOU have given to ME, because they are Yours. 10 And every thing that is Mine is Yours, and Yours is Mine and I am glo¬rified by them. 11 Henceforth, I will not be in the world, and these are in the world. And I am coming to Your presence, HOLY FATHER, pre¬serve them IN YOUR NAME, that which YOU have given to ME, that they may be one, as WE are. 12 I was with them while I was in the world. I have preserved them IN YOUR NAME; those whom YOU have given to ME I have preserved. And not a man of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the Tanac might be fulfilled. (Ps. 41: 9). 13 Now I come to Your presence, and these things I speak in the world, that My joy may be full in them. 14 I have given to them Your Word, and the world hates them, because they are not of the world, as I am not of the world. 15 It is not that YOU would take them from the world, but that YOU might pre-serve them from evil. 16 For they are not of the world, as I am not of the world. 17 FATHER sanctify them in Your truth, for Your Word is the Truth. 18 As YOU have sent ME into the world, I also have sent them into the world. 19 And I fear for their sakes, I sanctify Myself for them, so that they may also be sanc¬ti¬fied in the truth. 20 And it is not only for the sake of these I pray, but also for the sake of those who will believe in ME by their word. 21 That all of them may be one; as YOU MY FATHER are in ME and I in YOU, that they also may be one in US, that the world may believe that YOU have sent ME. 22 And the glory that YOU have given to ME, I have given to them that they may be one as WE are ONE, 23 I in them and YOU in ME, that they may be perfected into one and that the world may recognize that YOU have sent ME and that YOU have loved them as also YOU have loved ME. 24 FATHER, those whom YOU have given to ME, I desire that where I am, they might also be with ME that they might see My glory that YOU have given to ME, because YOU have loved ME from before the foundation of the world. 25 MY righteous FATHER, the world has not recognized YOU, but I have rec-ognized YOU, and these have per¬ceived that YOU have sent ME. 26 And I have made YOUR NAME known to them, and I am still revealing it, so that the love with which YOU have loved ME might be in them, and I might be in them.” 18 JOHN YEHOSHUA before the counsel 1 YEHOSHUA spoke these things and HE went out with His disciples to the other side of the torrent of Qedrown, to a place which had a garden, where HE en-tered, HE and His disciples. 2 Now Judas, the traitor had also known that place, because YEHOSHUA assem-bled there many times with His disci¬ples. 3 Therefore Judas took a unit of soldiers and some men from the chief priests and Pharisees. He took guards and came there with torches and lamps and weap-ons. 4 But YEHOSHUA, because HE had known all things that came upon HIM, went out and said to them, “For whom are you seeking?” 5 They were saying to HIM, “FOR YEHOSHUA THE NAZARENE.” YEHOSHUA said to them, “I am THE LIVING ELOHIM.” Now Judas the traitor was also standing among them. 6 And when YEHOSHUA said to them, “I am THE LIVING ELOHIM,” they went backward and fell upon the ground. 7 YEHOSHUA asked them again, “For whom are you seeking?” And they said, “FOR YEHOSHUA THE NAZARENE.” 8 YEHOSHUA said to them, “I have told you that I am THE LIVING ELOHIM, and if you seek ME, allow these to go.” 9 So that it may be fulfilled the saying that HE spoke, “Those whom YOU have given to ME, I have not lost even one of them.” 10 But Shimon Kaypha had a sword on him and he drew it and struck the servant of the high priest and took off his right ear. Now the name of the servant was Malchus. 11 And YEHOSHUA said to Kaypha, “Place the sword into its sheath. The cup which MY FATHER gave to ME, shall I not drink it?” 12 Then the unit of soldiers and captains and guards of the Judeans seized YEHOSHUA and bound HIM. 13 And they brought HIM to Hannan first, because he was the father-in-law of Qaiapha, he who was the high priest of that year. 14 Now Qaiapha was he who advised the Judeans that it is better that one man should die for the sake of the people. 15 And Shimon Kaypha and one of the other disciples were following YEHOSHUA. Now that disciple was known to the high priest, and he entered with YEHOSHUA into the courtyard. 16 But Shimon was standing outside by the gate. And the other disciple, whom the high priest knew, went out and spoke to the gatekeeper and brought in Shimon. 17 And the young woman, the gate-keeper, said to Shimon, “Are you not also of the disciples OF THIS MAN?” He said to her, “No.” 18 And the servants and guards were standing and had made a fire to warm themselves, because it was cold. Now Shimon was also standing with them and warming himself. 19 Now the high priest questioned YEHOSHUA concerning His disciples and concerning His teachings. 20 YEHOSHUA said to him, “I have openly spoken among the people at all times. I have taught in the assemblies and in the temple where all the Judeans assem¬ble and I did not say anything in secret. 21 Why do you ask ME? Ask those who heard what I have said. Behold among them, they know everything which I have spo¬ken.” 22 And when HE spoke these things, one of the guards who was standing there struck YEHOSHUA on His cheek and said to HIM, “Thus do YOU give an an-swer to the high priest.” 23 YEHOSHUA answered and said to him, “If I have spoken evil, testify against the evil. Yet, if I spoke well, why do you strike ME?” 24 Now Hannan sent YEHOSHUA while bound to Qaiapha the high priest. 25 Shimon Kaypha was standing and warming himself and they said to him, “Are you not also one of His disci¬ples?” And he denied it and said, “I am not!” 26 One of the servants of the high priest, a relative of him whom Shimon had cut off his ear, said to him, “Did I see you with HIM in the garden?” 27 And again Shimon denied it, and at that moment the rooster crowed. 28 And they brought YEHOSHUA from the presence of Qaiapha into the Praeto-rium, and it was morning and they did not enter into the Praetorium, so that they might not be de¬filed before they had eaten the Pesach. 29 And Pilatus went outside to them and said to them, “What accusation do you have against THIS MAN?” 30 They answered and said to him, “If HE were not a doer of evil, we would not even have delivered HIM to you.” 31 Pilatus said to them, “You take HIM and judge HIM according to your law.” The Judeans said to him, “It is not lawful for us to kill a man.” 32 That the Word might be fulfilled that YEHOSHUA said when HE made known by what death HE was about to die. 33 Now Pilatus entered into the Praeto-rium and called YEHOSHUA and said to HIM, “Are YOU THE KING of the Judeans?” 34 YEHOSHUA said to him, “Have you spoken this of yourself, or have others told you about ME?” 35 Pilatus said to HIM, “Why, am I a Judean? The sons of Your people and the high priest have delivered YOU to me. What have YOU done?” 36 YEHOSHUA said to him, “My king-dom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would have fought, so that I would not be deliv¬ered to the Judeans now. But My king¬dom is not from here.” 37 Pilatus said to HIM, “Therefore YOU are A KING?” YEHOSHUA said to him, “You have said that I am A KING. For this I was born, and for this I have come into the world, that I might testify con-cerning the truth. Everyone who is of truth hears My voice.” 38 Pilatus said to HIM, “What is truth?” And when he had said this, he went out again to the Judeans and said to them, “I do not find even one cause against HIM!” 39 But you have a custom that I should release one to you during the Pesach. Therefore, do you want me to re¬lease THIS KING of the Judeans to you?” 40 All of them cried out and said, “Not THIS MAN, but Bar-Abba. Now this Bar-Abba was a robber. - 19 JOHN 1 Then Pilatus scourged YEHOSHUA. 2 And the soldiers twined a crown of thorns and placed it on His head, and they covered HIM with garments of pur-ple. (Isa. 53: 1 - 12). 3 And they were saying, “Peace TO YOU KING of the Judeans.” And they were striking HIM on His cheeks. 4 And Pilatus went outside again and said to them, “Behold, I will bring HIM to you out¬side, so that you may know that I do not find even one cause against HIM.” 5 And YEHOSHUA went outside while there was a crown of thorns and a gar-ment of purple upon HIM, and Pilatus said to them, “Behold THE MAN!” 6 And when the chief priests and the guards saw HIM, they cried out and said, “Crucify HIM! Crucify HIM!” Pilatus said to them, “You take HIM and crucify HIM, for I find no cause in HIM.” 7 The Judeans said to him, “We have a Torah to us, and according to that which is in our Torah, HE is deserving of death, be¬cause HE made Himself THE SON OF ELOHIM.” 8 And when Pilatus heard these words, he was all the more afraid. 9 And he entered again into the judgment hall and said TO YEHOSHUA, “Where are YOU from?” But YEHOSHUA did not give a reply to him. 10 Pilatus said to HIM, “Are YOU not speaking with me? Do YOU not realize that I have authority to release YOU and I have authority to have YOU cruci-fied?” 11 YEHOSHUA said to him, “You would have no authority over ME if it had not been given to you from above. Because of this, he who delivered ME to you, his sin is greater than yours. 12. And because of this, Pilatus want¬ed to release HIM; but the Judeans were cry¬ing out, “If you release THIS MAN you are not a friend of Caesar. For eve-ryone who makes him¬self a king is an adver¬sary of Caesar.” 13 Now when Pilatus heard this word, he brought YEHOSHUA outside and sat upon the Blym (judgment seat) in a place that is called “The Pavement of Stones,” but in Hebrew is called Griptha, and in Ara¬maic it is called “Gpiphta.” 14 And it was the eve of the Pesach, and it was about the sixth hour, and he said to the Judeans, “Be¬hold, your KING!” 15 But they were crying out, “Take HIM away! Take HIM away! Crucify HIM! Cru¬cify HIM! Pilatus said to them, “Should I cru¬cify your KING?” The chief priests said to him, “We have no king but Cae¬sar!” 16 Then he delivered HIM to them that they might crucify HIM. And they took YEHOSHUA and led HIM out, 17 carrying His cross to the place that was called ‘The Skull.’ But in Hebrew it is called ‘Gagultha.’ 18 The place of His crucifixion, and with HIM two others, one on one side and one on the other side, and YEHOSHUA in be¬tween. 19 Pilatus also wrote a tablet and placed it upon His cross, and it was written thus: “THIS IS YEHOSHUA THE NAZA-RENE THE KING OF THE JUDEANS.” 20 And many of the Judeans read this tablet because the place at which YEHOSHUA was crucified was near the city. And it was written in Hebrew and in Latin and in Greek. 21 And the chief priests said to Pilatus, “Do not write that HE is THE KING of the Judeans, but that HE said I am KING of the Judeans.” 22 Pilatus said, “The thing that I have writ¬ten, I have written.” 23 And when the soldiers crucified YEHOSHUA, they took His gar¬ments and made four pieces for each of the sol¬diers, but His robe was without stitch, woven completely from the top. 24 And they said one to another, “Let us not tear it, but let us cast lots for it, to see whose it will be.” And the Tanac was fulfilled that says, “They divided My garments among themsel¬ves, and for My clothing they cast lots.” The sol¬diers did these things. (Ps. 22: 19). 25 Now at the cross OF YEHOSHUA were standing His mother and His mother's sister and Maryam that of Cleo¬phas and Maryam of Magdala. 26 And YEHOSHUA saw His mother and the disciple whom HE loved stand-ing there, and HE said to His mother, “Woman, behold your son.” 27 And HE said to that disciple, “Be-hold, your mother.” And at that hour that disci¬ple took her with him. 28 After these things YEHOSHUA knew that everything was accomplished; so that the Tanac might be fulfilled, and HE said, “I thirst.” (Ps. 22: 1 - 32). 29 And they placed a vessel there that was full of vinegar, and filled a sponge with the vinegar and placed it on hyssop and brought it to His mouth. 30 And when HE had taken that vinegar YEHOSHUA said, “Behold, it is accom-plished.” and HE bowed His head and gave up His spirit. 31 And the Judeans, because it was the eve, said, “These bodies should not re-main on their crosses be¬cause the Sab-bath is dawning.” For it was a high day, the day of the Sabbath, that they en-treated from Pilatus that they might break the legs of those who were cruci-fied and take them down. 32 So the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first and those of the other who was crucified with him. 33 And when they came TO YEHOSHUA, they saw that HE was dead already, and they did not break His legs. 34 But one of the soldiers struck His side with a spear, and immediately blood and water came out. 35 And the one who saw it has testified and his witness is true and he knows the truth. He spoke that you also may be-lieve. 36 For these things happened that the Tanac might be fulfilled that says, “Not a bone of HIM will be broken,” (Dep. 12: 46 ; Cro. 9: 12 ; Ps. 34: 21). 37 And again another scripture that said that: They will look at HIM whom they pierced,” (Zec. 12: 10). 38 After these things Joseph, who was from Ramt¬ha, beseeched Pilatus that he might take the body OF YEHOSHUA be¬cause he was a disciple OF YEHOSHUA, and had concealed him-self for fear of the Judeans. And Pilatus gave permission, and he came and took the body OF YEHOSHUA. 39 And Nicodemus also came, he who had come previously TO YEHOSHUA at night. And he brought with him spices of myrrh and of aloe, about one hundred pints. 40 And they took the body OF YEHOSHUA and bound it in linen with the spices, as is the custom for the Judeans when they bury. 41 Now there was a garden in the place where YEHOSHUA was crucified in. And in that garden a new tomb, in which no man had yet been laid. 42 And they placed YEHOSHUA there, because the Sabbath was beginning, and be¬cause the tomb was near. - 20 JOHN 1 On the first day of the week in the morn¬ing while it was yet dark, Maryam of Magdala came to the tomb and saw that the stone was removed from the tomb. 2 And she ran and came to Shimon Kay-pha and to the other disciple whom YEHOSHUA loved and she told them, “They have taken our LORD from that tomb, and I do not know where they have laid HIM.” 3 And Shimon and that other disciple went out and came to the tomb. 4 And both of them were running to-gether, but that other disciple run ahead of Shimon and arrived at the tomb first. 5 And he looked in and saw the linen lying there, but he did not enter. 6 And Shimon came after him and en-tered into the tomb, and saw the linen lying there. 7 And the burial cloth, that which had been wrapped around His head, not with the linen, but being folded and placed aside in a certain place. 8 Then that disciple who arrived at the tomb first also entered and saw and be-lieved. 9 For they had not yet understood the s Tanac, that HE was to rise from the dead. 10 And those disciples went away again to their place. 11 But Maryam was standing at the tomb and weeping, and while she wept, she looked into the tomb. 12 And she saw two angles clothed in white who were sitting, one at his pillow and one at the foot of the bed, where the body OF YEHOSHUA had lain. 13 And they said to her, “Woman, why do you weep?” She said to them, “Be-cause they have taken my LORD, and I do not know where they have laid HIM.” 14 She said this and she turned her head around and saw YEHOSHUA standing, behind her. And she did not know that it was YEHOSHUA. 15. YEHOSHUA said to her, “Woman, why do you weep, and whom do you seek?” But she thought that HE was the gardener, and she said to HIM, “If you have taken my LORD, tell me where you have laid HIM. I will go and take HIM.” 16 YEHOSHUA said to her, “Maryam.” And she turned around and said to HIM in Hebrew, “RABBULI!” which means TEACHER. 17 YEHOSHUA said to her, “Do not touch ME, for I have not yet ascended TO MY FATHER. But go to My broth¬ers and tell them that I ascend TO MY FATHER and your FATHER and MY ELOHIM and your ELOHIM.” 18 Then Maryam of Magdala came and declared to the disciples that she had seen our LORD, and these things that HE had told her. 19 Now when it was evening on that day, the first day of the week, the doors were shut where the disciples were because of their fear of the Judeans, YEHOSHUA came and stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.” 20 HE said this and showed them His hands and His side and the disciples re-joiced that they had seen our LORD. 21 And YEHOSHUA said to them again, “Peace be with you. As MY FATHER has sent ME, I also send you.” 22 And when HE said these things, HE breathed on them and said to them, “Re-ceive the Holy Spirit. 23 If you forgive a man's sins, they will be forgiven. And if you retain the sins of a man, they will be retained.” 24 Now Thomas, one of the twelve, he who was called the Twin, was not there with them when YEHOSHUA came. 25 And the disciples told him, “We have seen our LORD!” But he said to them, “Unless I see the places of the nails in His hands and I place my fingers in them, and I stretch forth my hand into His side, I will not believe.” 26 And after eight days the disciples were again inside. And Thomas was with them and YEHOSHUA came while the doors were locked and stood in the midst and said to them, “Peace be with you.” 27 And HE said to Thomas, “Place your finger here, and see My hands and place your hand and stretch it in My side and do not be an unbeliever, but a believer. 28 And Thomas answered and said to HIM, "My LORD and my ELOHIM!" (Isa. 49: 16). 29 YEHOSHUA said to him, “Now that you have seen ME you have believed. Blessed are those who do not see ME and believe.” 30 Now YEHOSHUA did many other mira¬cles before His disciples that are not writ¬ten in this book. 31 Indeed, these things are written that you might believe that YEHOSHUA is THE MESSIAH, THE SON OF ELOHIM, and when you believe you shall have eternal life in HIS NAME. - 21 JOHN 1 After these things YEHOSHUA re-vealed Himself again to His disciples by the lake of Tiberius. Now HE appeared in this way: 2 There were together Shimon Kaypha and Thomas, who is called the Twin, and Nathanael, who was from Cana of Gali-lee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two others of the disciples. 3 Shimon Kaypha said to them, “I am going to catch fish.” They said to him, “We will also come with you.” And they departed and embarked into a ship. And during that night they did not catch any-thing. 4 And when it became morning, YEHOSHUA stood on the shore of the lake, and the disciples did not realize that it was YEHOSHUA. 5 And YEHOSHUA said to them, “Chil-dren, do you have something to eat? They said “No” to HIM, 6 HE said to them, “Cast your net from the right side of the ship and you will find.” And they cast it and they could not drag the net in from the multitude of fish that it had caught. 7 Then that disciple whom YEHOSHUA loved said to Kaypha, “THIS MAN is our LORD.” And when Shimon heard that it was our LORD, he took his gar-ment and girded his loins because he was naked, and threw himself into the lake that he might come TO YEHOSHUA. 8 But the other disciples came by boat for they were not very far from the land, but only about two hundred cubits, and they were dragging that net of fish. 9 When they had come up to the land, they saw burning coals and placed fish and placed bread upon them. 10 YEHOSHUA said to them, “Bring some of those fish that you have caught.” 11 And Shimon Kaypha embarked and dragged the net to land, being full of one hundred and fifty and three great fish. And with all this weight, that net was not torn. 12 YEHOSHUA said to them, “Come and eat.” No one of the disciples did dare to ask HIM who HE was, because they knew that HE was our LORD. 13 And YEHOSHUA drew near and took the bread and fish and gave to them. 14 This was the third time that YEHOSHUA had appeared to His disci-ples after HE had risen from the grave. 15 Now after they had eaten, YEHOSHUA said to Shimon Kaypha, “Shimon, son of Jo¬nah, do you love ME more than these? He said to HIM, “Yes my LORD you know that I love YOU.” HE said to him, “Shepherd for ME My lambs.” 16 HE said to him again the second time, “Shimon son of Jonah, do you love ME?” He said to him, “Yes my LORD. YOU know that I love YOU.” YEHOSHUA said to him, “Shepherd for ME My sheep.” 17 HE said the third time to him, “Shimon son of Jonah, do you love ME?” And Kaypha was sad that HE said the third time to him, “Do you love ME?” And he said to HIM, “My LORD, YOU under¬stand every thing. You know that I love YOU.” YEHOSHUA said to him, “Shepherd for ME My ewes.” 18 Truly, truly, timeless truth I say to you that when you were a boy, you had girded your loins yourself and had walked to wher¬ever you wanted. But when you are old, you will stretch out your hands and another will gird your loins for you, and will lead you to where you do not want. 19 And this HE said that he might show by which death he was going to glorify ELOHIM. And after HE had said these things, HE said to him, “Come, after ME.” 20 And Shimon Kaypha turned and saw the disciple whom YEHOSHUA had loved, following him, the one who had lain at the breast OF YEHOSHUA dur¬ing the supper, and had said, “My LORD, who will betray YOU?” 21 When Kaypha saw him, he said TO YEHOSHUA, “My LORD, and what of this man?” 22 YEHOSHUA said to him, “What is it to you, if I would desire that this man re-mains until I return? You come and fol-low ME!” 23 And this saying went out among the brethren that this disciple would not die. But YEHOSHUA did not say that he would not die, but, “If I would desire that he remain until I return, what is it to you?” 24 This is the disciple who testified about all these things and wrote them and we know that his testimony is true. 25. And there are many other things that YEHOSHUA did, which if they were written one by one I suppose not even the world would be sufficient for the books that would be written. ------------------- End of the holy Evangel of John--------------------- 111655
