1
00:00:01,401 --> 00:00:03,232
In the criminal justice system...
2
00:00:03,303 --> 00:00:06,830
...crimes of a sexual nature
They are considered especially atrocious.
3
00:00:06,973 --> 00:00:11,103
In New York, the tenacious detectives
who investigate these atrocities...
4
00:00:11,177 --> 00:00:14,704
...they form an elite brigade,
the Special Victims Unit.
5
00:00:14,781 --> 00:00:16,476
These are their stories.
6
00:00:22,022 --> 00:00:24,081
Are you sure you don't want to go up?
7
00:00:24,157 --> 00:00:28,992
Tomorrow I have to get up early.
And after last night, you better rest.
8
00:00:34,701 --> 00:00:36,896
- Good night.
- Good night.
9
00:01:00,894 --> 00:01:03,988
It's Cassie Germaine, cellist.
of the Manhattan Symphony.
10
00:01:04,064 --> 00:01:07,591
The boyfriend accompanied her here.
The perpetrator attacked her when she entered.
11
00:01:07,667 --> 00:01:10,033
- He ripped off her clothes. Maybe he raped her.
- Are there witnesses?
12
00:01:10,103 --> 00:01:11,570
- No.
-Who made the complaint?
13
00:01:11,638 --> 00:01:13,731
When he did not enter the code, the alarm sounded.
14
00:01:13,807 --> 00:01:17,072
- Where is the victim?
- In her room, they beat her a lot.
15
00:01:19,646 --> 00:01:23,013
I fainted.
When I woke up, my head was bleeding.
16
00:01:23,083 --> 00:01:28,046
He ripped off my clothes
and cut my hair.
17
00:01:29,189 --> 00:01:31,020
Did he say something?
18
00:01:31,758 --> 00:01:32,850
No.
19
00:01:33,259 --> 00:01:35,090
Can I show you?
20
00:01:35,528 --> 00:01:37,723
WHORE
21
00:01:39,165 --> 00:01:42,430
- I have to take her to the hospital.
- I'll accompany you.
22
00:01:48,108 --> 00:01:50,099
I found something.
23
00:01:54,280 --> 00:01:56,748
- What is it?
- Do you see the lens?
24
00:01:57,684 --> 00:02:01,211
- It's a camera.
- A. I found it among the remains.
25
00:02:02,088 --> 00:02:05,285
- Did anyone see everything?
- And keep watching.
26
00:02:05,358 --> 00:02:09,852
See? It is connected to the lamp.
Use the apartment's electricity.
27
00:03:01,414 --> 00:03:03,746
- Did they find more cameras?
- Not yet.
28
00:03:04,050 --> 00:03:06,883
- What is that device?
- A frequency tracker.
29
00:03:06,953 --> 00:03:10,252
Each camera transmits
with its own frequency.
30
00:03:10,623 --> 00:03:13,751
It's detecting something. Hold this.
31
00:03:17,830 --> 00:03:20,424
Nice angle, Morales.
32
00:03:24,237 --> 00:03:25,829
What did you find?
33
00:03:27,807 --> 00:03:29,707
She was focused on the bed.
34
00:03:30,710 --> 00:03:34,339
-She's smaller than a nail.
- I found another one.
35
00:03:36,916 --> 00:03:40,283
- A panoramic view of the bathroom and shower.
- How many are there?
36
00:03:40,353 --> 00:03:43,151
For now, four. One in the room,
two in the room and this one.
37
00:03:43,223 --> 00:03:45,157
He is a voyeur with advanced technology.
38
00:03:45,225 --> 00:03:46,419
And where do you look at it from?
39
00:03:46,492 --> 00:03:48,790
It is not known. The cameras
They are wireless.
40
00:03:48,861 --> 00:03:51,557
Without cables, I could be next door
or on the other block.
41
00:03:51,631 --> 00:03:53,189
What scope do they have?
42
00:03:53,266 --> 00:03:55,996
Between 140 and 250 meters,
It depends on the signal strength.
43
00:03:56,069 --> 00:04:00,563
That limits our search to a couple.
of thousands of apartments and offices.
44
00:04:01,174 --> 00:04:03,005
ST. HOSPITAL BERNADETTE
AMSTERDAM AVENUE 195
45
00:04:03,076 --> 00:04:04,543
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 26
46
00:04:09,415 --> 00:04:11,747
Permission. They told me that
it was already over.
47
00:04:11,818 --> 00:04:12,978
- I've finished now.
- Perfect.
48
00:04:13,052 --> 00:04:14,781
- You can go.
- Thank you.
49
00:04:14,854 --> 00:04:16,253
Thank you, doctor.
50
00:04:17,357 --> 00:04:19,552
- Ready to come home?
- Yes.
51
00:04:20,793 --> 00:04:23,956
My boyfriend brought me some clothes.
52
00:04:24,163 --> 00:04:25,926
Are the results of the analyzes already available?
53
00:04:25,999 --> 00:04:28,160
They did not find semen in the swab...
54
00:04:28,234 --> 00:04:31,761
...nor vaginal lacerations,
but that is quite common.
55
00:04:32,772 --> 00:04:34,296
Was I raped or not?
56
00:04:34,540 --> 00:04:36,701
It is still not known for sure.
57
00:04:36,776 --> 00:04:40,337
But he cut your hair
and the clothes, besides writing that...
58
00:04:40,413 --> 00:04:43,507
...it tells us that it was a
attack of a sexual nature.
59
00:04:44,617 --> 00:04:49,418
Cassie, can you think of anyone?
who could want to hurt you?
60
00:04:50,056 --> 00:04:51,114
No.
61
00:04:51,190 --> 00:04:55,627
Do you remember anything? A voice?
A smell? The color of the shoes?
62
00:04:55,962 --> 00:04:59,693
No, it was all very fast.
I didn't see or hear anything.
63
00:05:01,100 --> 00:05:04,797
-Who has keys to your apartment?
- Nobody. Because?
64
00:05:06,506 --> 00:05:10,169
We find cameras
hidden in the room...
65
00:05:11,210 --> 00:05:13,303
...the bedroom and bathroom of your house.
66
00:05:13,513 --> 00:05:15,640
Was someone spying on me?
67
00:05:18,885 --> 00:05:21,479
- How long ago?
- We're not sure.
68
00:05:23,456 --> 00:05:25,253
Is this the same guy who attacked me?
69
00:05:25,325 --> 00:05:27,919
Could be. It's what
we want to find out.
70
00:05:27,994 --> 00:05:30,588
But I promise you that now
We reviewed the entire department.
71
00:05:30,663 --> 00:05:33,632
- We found all the cameras...
- And my boyfriend?
72
00:05:33,700 --> 00:05:36,635
It's outside, waiting
to take you home.
73
00:05:37,704 --> 00:05:40,696
I don't think I'll go back
feel comfortable there.
74
00:05:41,541 --> 00:05:42,667
Did you go straight home?
75
00:05:42,742 --> 00:05:45,768
One moment.
You don't think I did it, do you?
76
00:05:45,845 --> 00:05:47,938
Who hid the cameras
He also spied on me.
77
00:05:48,014 --> 00:05:51,973
Look, I'm just trying to understand
what happened
78
00:05:52,218 --> 00:05:54,550
Did you mention any problems
with friends or colleagues?
79
00:05:54,620 --> 00:05:58,147
Yes, with only one.
Robert Prescott, our director.
80
00:05:58,224 --> 00:06:00,522
Go after her
since he joined the symphony.
81
00:06:00,593 --> 00:06:03,391
-And when did he come in?
- About six months ago.
82
00:06:03,463 --> 00:06:06,091
Cassie says she left him the
clear things, but I don't know.
83
00:06:06,165 --> 00:06:07,189
Oh really? Because?
84
00:06:07,266 --> 00:06:11,532
Because Prescott has a hard time accepting the
negative. Ask Valerie Baxter.
85
00:06:11,604 --> 00:06:12,730
Well, who is she?
86
00:06:12,805 --> 00:06:15,399
The violinist who dated him
the previous season.
87
00:06:15,475 --> 00:06:17,534
Rumor has it that he abused her.
88
00:06:17,610 --> 00:06:19,271
And what does that have to do with Cassie?
89
00:06:19,345 --> 00:06:22,712
Well, a month after Valerie
left, he hired Cassie...
90
00:06:22,782 --> 00:06:25,649
...and started sponsoring her on his own.
91
00:06:25,718 --> 00:06:28,448
He even left him the apartment
which was Valerie's.
92
00:06:28,521 --> 00:06:31,786
- Did he leave it to you?
- That cretin is the owner.
93
00:06:32,859 --> 00:06:36,761
- So much fury and he didn't rape her?
- Maybe he didn't have a chance.
94
00:06:36,829 --> 00:06:40,458
The security company made the
complaint, and in 5 minutes there were agents.
95
00:06:40,533 --> 00:06:41,761
What do you think of the boyfriend?
96
00:06:41,834 --> 00:06:43,893
I investigated it. I was in
a taxi at that time.
97
00:06:43,970 --> 00:06:45,062
And the director?
98
00:06:45,138 --> 00:06:47,868
Well, according to
building manager...
99
00:06:47,940 --> 00:06:50,636
...the apartment is property
by Maestro Productions.
100
00:06:50,710 --> 00:06:52,109
That is, Robert Prescott.
101
00:06:52,178 --> 00:06:54,373
And the previous tenant was
his violinist girlfriend.
102
00:06:54,447 --> 00:06:57,007
Apparently, he left when he
He began to mistreat her.
103
00:06:57,083 --> 00:06:59,711
Have the cameras been there?
When did Cassie move out?
104
00:06:59,786 --> 00:07:02,016
Prescott had many opportunities
to install them.
105
00:07:02,088 --> 00:07:03,680
Is there something between him and Cassie?
106
00:07:03,756 --> 00:07:05,986
According to the boyfriend, go
after her months ago.
107
00:07:06,058 --> 00:07:08,083
Maybe he got tired of
watch it on television.
108
00:07:08,161 --> 00:07:11,028
Maybe he hired someone
to spice up your private show.
109
00:07:11,097 --> 00:07:13,327
Anyway, the guy wanted to humiliate her.
110
00:07:13,399 --> 00:07:16,630
He wrote "whore" on her chest
and cut off all his hair.
111
00:07:16,702 --> 00:07:18,795
And he took a lock
to remember the moment.
112
00:07:18,871 --> 00:07:20,463
What does Prescott say?
113
00:07:20,540 --> 00:07:23,202
Still, nothing. According to the secretary,
left early...
114
00:07:23,276 --> 00:07:25,210
...to look at some properties in the North.
115
00:07:25,278 --> 00:07:27,838
- How timely.
- He'll be late tonight.
116
00:07:27,914 --> 00:07:30,144
And how are they obtained?
those video equipment?
117
00:07:30,216 --> 00:07:33,583
According to the laboratory, the numbers
As standard they are from a store...
118
00:07:33,653 --> 00:07:34,915
...called Quark International.
119
00:07:34,987 --> 00:07:37,683
Everything for the novice spy
in the same place.
120
00:07:37,757 --> 00:07:42,251
We just located Valerie Baxter,
the ex-girlfriend, at the Music School.
121
00:07:42,462 --> 00:07:46,922
Talk to her. Maybe I can contribute
something before Prescott returns.
122
00:07:47,467 --> 00:07:48,593
NEW YORK SCHOOL OF MUSIC
409 WEST 57 STREET
123
00:07:48,668 --> 00:07:49,692
WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 27
124
00:07:49,769 --> 00:07:53,637
He told me I had talent,
but I needed more discipline.
125
00:07:53,706 --> 00:07:55,833
So he adopted you as a protégé.
126
00:07:55,908 --> 00:08:00,743
We worked late. it made me
practice until my fingers bled.
127
00:08:01,314 --> 00:08:02,941
It seems demanding.
128
00:08:03,115 --> 00:08:06,050
It is, but it worked.
129
00:08:06,953 --> 00:08:10,753
I started to feel the music with
a depth unthinkable to me.
130
00:08:10,823 --> 00:08:13,451
When did you start having sex
in the relationship?
131
00:08:15,962 --> 00:08:19,921
About 30 days after starting
private classes.
132
00:08:22,001 --> 00:08:26,961
He made me feel special. He told me
that I could become a concert artist.
133
00:08:27,940 --> 00:08:31,432
- They say he mistreated you.
- It started when I wanted to quit.
134
00:08:31,511 --> 00:08:33,001
What happened?
135
00:08:35,915 --> 00:08:40,845
One night he fell asleep
and I went to the closet to look for a blanket.
136
00:08:43,556 --> 00:08:48,492
I found a video camera
that was filming through a hole in the wall.
137
00:08:50,930 --> 00:08:53,330
The red light was on.
138
00:08:54,066 --> 00:08:57,934
On the shelf there was a row of
cassettes with women's names.
139
00:08:59,105 --> 00:09:02,302
I was another chapter
in your video collection.
140
00:09:02,575 --> 00:09:04,839
How did he react when you left him?
141
00:09:04,911 --> 00:09:09,712
He became very cruel.
He degraded me and threatened me.
142
00:09:11,117 --> 00:09:14,052
I couldn't lift the violin
without starting to tremble.
143
00:09:15,922 --> 00:09:18,516
We offer a whole line
surveillance technology...
144
00:09:18,591 --> 00:09:21,685
...both professionals
like ordinary citizens.
145
00:09:22,028 --> 00:09:25,156
Five hundred channels
and this crap comes out?
146
00:09:25,231 --> 00:09:27,290
Guess where the camera is.
147
00:09:28,734 --> 00:09:30,167
I give up.
148
00:09:31,938 --> 00:09:36,272
It is a CT 30-59 with CCD chip
half inch, automatic lens...
149
00:09:36,342 --> 00:09:39,641
...and without frontal exposure,
which makes it almost undetectable.
150
00:09:39,712 --> 00:09:40,770
And this?
151
00:09:40,846 --> 00:09:44,247
It is a TRX-40 microphone with recorder
digital and telephone connection.
152
00:09:44,317 --> 00:09:45,375
Is all this legal?
153
00:09:45,451 --> 00:09:48,113
Clear. Since September 11,
It sells like bread.
154
00:09:48,187 --> 00:09:51,156
And who was the lucky one
who bought these little buns?
155
00:09:51,223 --> 00:09:53,418
Three CT 30-10...
156
00:09:55,061 --> 00:09:59,691
...30-57 and a Spymaster-4 receiver.
Those are sophisticated equipment.
157
00:09:59,765 --> 00:10:01,733
- How much do they cost?
- About two thousand dollars.
158
00:10:01,801 --> 00:10:05,202
- In cash or by card?
- With the old dear card.
159
00:10:05,304 --> 00:10:08,398
They bought everything online
and they paid it with a new card...
160
00:10:08,474 --> 00:10:10,840
...in the name of Mr. Herman
Garfunkle of Queens.
161
00:10:10,910 --> 00:10:13,640
Imagine the surprise
when the sweet Mrs. Garfunkle said...
162
00:10:13,713 --> 00:10:17,149
...that her beloved husband had died
three years ago after a heart attack.
163
00:10:17,216 --> 00:10:18,581
And who received the equipment?
164
00:10:18,651 --> 00:10:21,484
A post office box
63rd Street and Broadway.
165
00:10:21,554 --> 00:10:23,715
Paid with Garfunkle's card.
166
00:10:23,789 --> 00:10:26,053
Meters from Cassie's apartment.
167
00:10:26,125 --> 00:10:28,025
And Prescott's, which
It's two blocks away.
168
00:10:28,094 --> 00:10:30,824
Within range of the cameras.
169
00:10:30,997 --> 00:10:34,660
- We must enter his house.
- What there is is not enough for an order.
170
00:10:34,734 --> 00:10:38,500
And Valerie's statement?
He filmed her without her consent.
171
00:10:38,571 --> 00:10:42,371
If she participated in the act
of one's own free will, there is no crime.
172
00:10:42,441 --> 00:10:44,932
Don't you have the right to
minimal privacy?
173
00:10:45,011 --> 00:10:48,708
What is being discussed is not the invasion
of our right to privacy...
174
00:10:48,781 --> 00:10:51,773
...but the right for the government
Don't come into our room...
175
00:10:51,851 --> 00:10:53,751
...a place that, for those
judges, it is still sacred.
176
00:10:53,819 --> 00:10:55,548
It's not about his room.
177
00:10:55,621 --> 00:10:57,646
If he put the cameras
at Cassie's house...
178
00:10:57,723 --> 00:10:58,985
...there is violation of domicile.
179
00:10:59,058 --> 00:11:03,324
Not necessarily. The property
It's his. You have the right to enter.
180
00:11:03,396 --> 00:11:06,763
Alex, this is a freeloader
who abuses his position...
181
00:11:06,832 --> 00:11:09,630
...to obtain sexual favors
and terrorize women.
182
00:11:09,702 --> 00:11:11,363
What if we found cameras in your bathroom?
183
00:11:11,437 --> 00:11:13,268
Maybe he filmed the attack.
184
00:11:13,339 --> 00:11:16,604
We need a legitimate reason
to raid his apartment.
185
00:11:18,611 --> 00:11:20,909
Well, but they can only
seize the receiver...
186
00:11:20,980 --> 00:11:23,448
...and cassettes or video equipment.
187
00:11:24,250 --> 00:11:25,979
ROBERT PRESCOTT'S HOUSE
188
00:11:26,052 --> 00:11:27,610
67 WEST 49 STREET
WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 27
189
00:11:35,695 --> 00:11:38,425
Elliot, the camera is pointing at the bed.
190
00:11:38,998 --> 00:11:41,193
The Master was very busy.
191
00:11:41,801 --> 00:11:44,167
Here is Valerie's video.
192
00:11:44,336 --> 00:11:46,600
Cassie's may be
any of those.
193
00:11:46,672 --> 00:11:49,903
-When is Prescott coming back?
- According to the secretary, tomorrow morning.
194
00:11:49,975 --> 00:11:52,671
Looks like we're in for a long night.
195
00:11:52,778 --> 00:11:53,904
TESTS
196
00:11:53,979 --> 00:11:57,073
When Valerie named the cassettes,
I didn't think there would be forty.
197
00:11:58,250 --> 00:12:02,812
- I've already lost count. How many are we going?
- It's number 9. No, number 10.
198
00:12:06,025 --> 00:12:09,426
It seems that that is his preferred position.
199
00:12:09,495 --> 00:12:11,360
At least, it's constant.
200
00:12:11,430 --> 00:12:13,625
I'd rather say it's boring.
201
00:12:13,699 --> 00:12:17,601
- Look what I bring.
- That? More sleight of hand?
202
00:12:20,773 --> 00:12:22,741
Look at that.
203
00:12:23,142 --> 00:12:24,336
January 27
10:47 PM
204
00:12:24,410 --> 00:12:26,935
- It's Cassie.
- In flesh and blood.
205
00:12:27,513 --> 00:12:29,640
The video says
They recorded it last month.
206
00:12:29,715 --> 00:12:32,206
Apparently our victim
He has some little secrets.
207
00:12:32,284 --> 00:12:34,775
- Why didn't he tell us anything?
- Maybe he was embarrassed.
208
00:12:34,854 --> 00:12:36,287
Or fear.
209
00:12:36,355 --> 00:12:38,585
The director wants
show him who's boss.
210
00:12:38,657 --> 00:12:41,182
Bring them both,
at different times, in different rooms.
211
00:12:41,260 --> 00:12:43,455
Find out what the hell is going on.
212
00:12:47,900 --> 00:12:49,800
It's time for you to tell the truth, Cassie.
213
00:12:49,869 --> 00:12:52,531
I already told you the truth.
I don't remember anything else.
214
00:12:52,605 --> 00:12:55,199
We mean Prescott and you.
215
00:12:56,075 --> 00:12:58,441
We found a video
where the two are.
216
00:12:58,511 --> 00:13:00,877
- Where?
- In his room.
217
00:13:00,946 --> 00:13:02,846
Why didn't you tell us anything?
218
00:13:03,115 --> 00:13:05,379
He threatened to ruin my career.
219
00:13:05,451 --> 00:13:08,249
I think you have to
start at the beginning.
220
00:13:09,822 --> 00:13:14,088
I met Robert about eight months ago
in the Casals competition.
221
00:13:16,395 --> 00:13:18,920
When I won, he offered
to bring me to New York.
222
00:13:18,998 --> 00:13:21,228
- In exchange for sex?
- No.
223
00:13:23,102 --> 00:13:28,005
He gave me the best teachers.
He introduced me to important people.
224
00:13:28,774 --> 00:13:31,174
He even organized my debut.
225
00:13:31,243 --> 00:13:33,939
Every time I needed it,
he was there.
226
00:13:34,446 --> 00:13:38,177
I guess I fell in love.
227
00:13:38,250 --> 00:13:40,775
When did the relationship get complicated?
228
00:13:41,887 --> 00:13:46,449
One night I stopped by his apartment
to give him a birthday surprise.
229
00:13:47,493 --> 00:13:49,893
He was in bed with another woman.
230
00:13:51,130 --> 00:13:54,497
I told him I was leaving him,
that I was leaving the orchestra.
231
00:13:54,567 --> 00:13:56,296
And he didn't allow you.
232
00:13:56,368 --> 00:14:00,202
He said he had invested too much in me
and then he showed me the cassette.
233
00:14:00,272 --> 00:14:03,241
He threatened to show her
to his friends in the environment if I left.
234
00:14:03,309 --> 00:14:06,938
I told him that I was going to report him,
and he said, "Go ahead."
235
00:14:07,012 --> 00:14:08,274
It was his word against mine.
236
00:14:08,347 --> 00:14:10,872
- How long ago did that happen?
- A little over a month.
237
00:14:10,950 --> 00:14:13,077
- Did he threaten you again?
- Not exactly.
238
00:14:13,152 --> 00:14:15,643
What do you mean "not exactly"?
239
00:14:16,355 --> 00:14:19,518
I have received calls and flowers.
240
00:14:19,892 --> 00:14:21,985
Yeah? What kind of flowers?
How is that?
241
00:14:22,061 --> 00:14:26,225
After the concerts, I arrive
home and I have flowers at the door.
242
00:14:26,298 --> 00:14:29,665
The only thing the card says is:
"With all my love, I."
243
00:14:31,170 --> 00:14:32,364
And the calls?
244
00:14:32,438 --> 00:14:35,737
As soon as I enter the apartment,
the phone starts ringing.
245
00:14:35,808 --> 00:14:38,003
When I answer, he hangs up.
246
00:14:38,077 --> 00:14:41,171
I thought it was Robert, to intimidate me.
247
00:14:42,281 --> 00:14:45,341
Cassie, how do you think it tastes
when to call?
248
00:14:49,221 --> 00:14:51,746
He spies on me with those cameras.
249
00:14:53,759 --> 00:14:57,126
I know it's cruel, but never
I thought he could hurt me.
250
00:14:58,130 --> 00:15:00,860
Do you remember the name of the flower shop?
251
00:15:01,000 --> 00:15:02,365
Farrelly.
252
00:15:06,572 --> 00:15:08,938
Prescott arrived with the lawyer.
253
00:15:09,341 --> 00:15:11,206
Well, let's take him to Interrogation.
254
00:15:11,277 --> 00:15:13,507
Can you and Munch take Cassie
to rehearsal?
255
00:15:13,579 --> 00:15:15,069
No problem.
256
00:15:16,849 --> 00:15:19,215
Nice collection of videos, Mr. Prescott.
257
00:15:19,285 --> 00:15:21,981
They are private acts
between responsible adults.
258
00:15:23,222 --> 00:15:25,349
Did they accept that I filmed them?
259
00:15:26,292 --> 00:15:29,489
- Clear.
- Valerie Baxter thinks otherwise.
260
00:15:29,895 --> 00:15:33,194
In case you didn't notice,
Valerie is a very fragile young woman.
261
00:15:33,265 --> 00:15:34,562
Thank you.
262
00:15:34,633 --> 00:15:37,693
Valerie dreamed of stardom.
I wanted to help her.
263
00:15:37,770 --> 00:15:41,069
But I couldn't do much
with that raw material.
264
00:15:41,140 --> 00:15:44,598
- Although he did everything he could.
- Be careful, detective.
265
00:15:44,677 --> 00:15:47,976
I assure you, detective,
I wasn't the only one who had a good time.
266
00:15:48,380 --> 00:15:50,439
And he's having a good time with Cassie Germaine?
267
00:15:50,516 --> 00:15:54,282
I enjoy working with her.
She is a very talented young lady.
268
00:15:54,353 --> 00:15:55,843
You own your apartment.
269
00:15:55,921 --> 00:15:58,981
So tax discount
from my rental company.
270
00:15:59,058 --> 00:16:02,585
I rent it at a loss to musicians
guests and new members.
271
00:16:02,661 --> 00:16:06,961
I also sublet apartments
on West 66th and 69th streets.
272
00:16:07,199 --> 00:16:08,757
Did you also install cameras in them?
273
00:16:08,834 --> 00:16:11,894
Not to mention the flowers
and love letters.
274
00:16:11,971 --> 00:16:14,667
I don't know what they're talking about.
275
00:16:15,074 --> 00:16:16,632
Where were you the night before last?
276
00:16:16,709 --> 00:16:19,200
Are you implying that I had something to do with it?
with that attack?
277
00:16:19,278 --> 00:16:20,302
Is that so?
278
00:16:20,379 --> 00:16:24,475
I'm preparing your debut in New York,
which will be on Friday.
279
00:16:24,550 --> 00:16:29,517
I'm going to transform her into a star.
Why would I want to hurt her?
280
00:16:30,389 --> 00:16:32,118
Because she left him.
281
00:16:32,191 --> 00:16:34,819
And we all know how good
handle rejections.
282
00:16:34,893 --> 00:16:38,021
He didn't answer the question. Where was it?
283
00:16:38,097 --> 00:16:41,123
The truth is, he was with a young girl.
284
00:16:41,667 --> 00:16:43,225
We need a name.
285
00:16:45,170 --> 00:16:50,102
Since you already have the videos,
They also have the answer.
286
00:16:51,643 --> 00:16:56,579
The name is on the last cassette.
It has a date and time.
287
00:17:00,819 --> 00:17:02,013
Elliot?
288
00:17:08,861 --> 00:17:10,658
That guy is difficult.
289
00:17:10,729 --> 00:17:15,132
They called Munch and End of the Theater.
There was another attack.
290
00:17:18,504 --> 00:17:21,996
I walked in and heard the scream
from the entrance.
291
00:17:22,074 --> 00:17:23,132
What happened?
292
00:17:23,208 --> 00:17:25,369
Upon returning from recess,
there was a note for Cassie.
293
00:17:25,444 --> 00:17:28,242
- What kind of note?
- See it with your own eyes.
294
00:17:30,282 --> 00:17:34,514
She was placed between the ropes.
It seems written in blood.
295
00:17:34,953 --> 00:17:36,147
Whose?
296
00:17:36,221 --> 00:17:38,746
DIE WHORE
297
00:17:44,363 --> 00:17:45,455
Where is Benson?
298
00:17:45,531 --> 00:17:47,624
He stayed with Cassie
until the friend arrived.
299
00:17:47,699 --> 00:17:51,032
- Any news from the flower shop?
- The saleswoman remembered it.
300
00:17:51,103 --> 00:17:53,469
He said he always paid in
effective, no names.
301
00:17:53,539 --> 00:17:54,665
Did you describe it?
302
00:17:54,740 --> 00:17:58,574
He is white, of medium height and weight,
with blonde, shaggy hair.
303
00:17:58,677 --> 00:18:00,076
He's making an identikit.
304
00:18:00,145 --> 00:18:02,705
I still think that Prescott
was able to hire someone.
305
00:18:02,781 --> 00:18:06,114
No, I don't think so. The attacks were
very personal to be from a third party.
306
00:18:06,185 --> 00:18:10,212
The cards, the flowers, the cello.
They are all intimate gestures.
307
00:18:10,289 --> 00:18:11,381
Unfortunately, we exclude...
308
00:18:11,457 --> 00:18:12,583
...to the two boyfriends she had.
309
00:18:12,658 --> 00:18:14,751
Maybe it's someone with erotomania.
310
00:18:14,827 --> 00:18:17,955
Believe it's part of a relationship
that actually doesn't exist.
311
00:18:18,030 --> 00:18:20,658
How it happened to me
with my four ex-wives.
312
00:18:20,799 --> 00:18:23,666
Maybe it's not even from the orchestra.
Maybe she doesn't even know him.
313
00:18:23,735 --> 00:18:28,069
-And how did the bug bite you?
- With a look, a smile, a greeting.
314
00:18:28,507 --> 00:18:30,475
For him, that was the
beginning of a romance.
315
00:18:30,542 --> 00:18:33,534
A few years ago there was a case.
A guy thought that a journalist...
316
00:18:33,612 --> 00:18:35,773
...sent him secret signals
from the studio.
317
00:18:35,848 --> 00:18:36,872
And what happened?
318
00:18:36,949 --> 00:18:40,350
One night he followed her home,
She kicked him out, and he shot her.
319
00:18:40,419 --> 00:18:44,048
If the guy was spying on her while
she made love with her boyfriend...
320
00:18:44,123 --> 00:18:47,615
- It went from "With love" to "Die, whore."
- He won't stop until he kills her.
321
00:18:47,693 --> 00:18:49,524
Where is the madman
shaggy hair?
322
00:18:49,595 --> 00:18:52,894
Must be close to the receiver
which captures the video signal.
323
00:18:52,965 --> 00:18:54,865
How are the Technology people doing?
with the search?
324
00:18:54,933 --> 00:18:57,663
Without a court order, it costs them.
They have thousands of houses.
325
00:18:57,736 --> 00:19:00,000
I'll tell the boss to double
assigned agents.
326
00:19:00,072 --> 00:19:02,006
When did you sell the equipment?
327
00:19:02,074 --> 00:19:04,042
- January third.
- Very good.
328
00:19:04,109 --> 00:19:07,476
Find out who came and went
of the department since that day.
329
00:19:07,546 --> 00:19:10,606
The guy had to go in there
to install the cameras.
330
00:19:10,682 --> 00:19:12,411
I want to know how he got in.
331
00:19:13,385 --> 00:19:15,785
262 WEST 65 STREET
THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 28
332
00:19:15,854 --> 00:19:18,448
Security was strengthened
of the entire building in January.
333
00:19:18,524 --> 00:19:21,459
Each department has its
own alarm and its password...
334
00:19:21,527 --> 00:19:24,052
...so that no one enters
without the tenant's permission.
335
00:19:24,129 --> 00:19:25,756
And the maintenance ones?
336
00:19:25,831 --> 00:19:27,799
That is always reported in time...
337
00:19:27,866 --> 00:19:29,629
...so that, if the tenant is not there...
338
00:19:29,701 --> 00:19:32,033
...I can stay
until they finish the job.
339
00:19:32,104 --> 00:19:33,594
That is our norm.
340
00:19:33,672 --> 00:19:36,505
Were there visits to the house
of Cassie Germaine in these 30 days?
341
00:19:36,575 --> 00:19:40,773
Yes. Let's see. 304. The plumber unclogged
the kitchen drain.
342
00:19:40,846 --> 00:19:43,576
That was on Tuesday.
And a security technician...
343
00:19:43,649 --> 00:19:46,413
...went to the apartment
to check the new alarm system.
344
00:19:46,485 --> 00:19:47,577
That was on the 8th.
345
00:19:47,653 --> 00:19:50,816
- How long did you spend there?
- An hour, I guess.
346
00:19:51,290 --> 00:19:52,314
Do you suppose?
347
00:19:52,391 --> 00:19:55,121
That day I had a little problem
heating in 102...
348
00:19:55,194 --> 00:19:57,162
...at the same time.
349
00:19:57,229 --> 00:19:58,491
To hell with the rules, right?
350
00:19:58,564 --> 00:20:02,694
I can give you the name of the technician.
It's on the work order.
351
00:20:02,901 --> 00:20:04,368
Ray Campbell.
352
00:20:06,471 --> 00:20:09,702
Since September 11, the sector
security is very active.
353
00:20:09,775 --> 00:20:12,710
I had to take on a lot of new guys.
Some good, others not.
354
00:20:12,778 --> 00:20:15,508
Therefore, from time to time
We have to go and check everything.
355
00:20:15,581 --> 00:20:19,415
-How long has Ray been working for you?
- About 10 years. It's one of the best.
356
00:20:19,484 --> 00:20:23,386
Apparently he went to check the alarm
from Cassie Germaine's apartment.
357
00:20:23,455 --> 00:20:26,117
Do you know what problem I had with the system?
358
00:20:26,191 --> 00:20:29,058
I don't remember, but I already told you
I'm very busy.
359
00:20:29,127 --> 00:20:30,219
Yes.
360
00:20:32,831 --> 00:20:34,264
How strange.
361
00:20:34,566 --> 00:20:36,261
The work order is not listed here.
362
00:20:36,335 --> 00:20:39,168
And he says that that day Ray went to another place.
363
00:20:39,238 --> 00:20:41,468
- Nearby?
- On the other block.
364
00:20:42,207 --> 00:20:44,266
- Where is Ray now?
- Doing a job.
365
00:20:44,343 --> 00:20:46,311
I would like to talk to him.
366
00:20:46,912 --> 00:20:49,244
-Ray Campbell?
- Yeah?
367
00:20:49,314 --> 00:20:51,009
I'm Detective Stabler.
368
00:20:51,984 --> 00:20:53,042
How can I help you?
369
00:20:53,118 --> 00:20:58,115
On January 8, did you do
a job at 262 West 65th Street?
370
00:20:58,290 --> 00:21:02,124
- I do a lot of work in that area.
- What can you tell me about this one?
371
00:21:04,096 --> 00:21:07,862
- Yes. No, I say, no.
- Yes or no?
372
00:21:08,900 --> 00:21:11,198
Look, I installed the system
a few months ago...
373
00:21:11,270 --> 00:21:12,828
...but I haven't been back since that time.
374
00:21:12,904 --> 00:21:16,396
- Is that your employee number?
- Yes, but that's not my signature.
375
00:21:16,475 --> 00:21:18,136
Whose is it?
376
00:21:18,777 --> 00:21:22,577
Maybe it's the same type
who stole the rest of my things.
377
00:21:23,315 --> 00:21:24,714
What things?
378
00:21:24,783 --> 00:21:27,445
A month ago, someone opened my truck.
379
00:21:27,519 --> 00:21:30,511
He took tools,
my coat and a hat.
380
00:21:31,423 --> 00:21:33,550
It didn't even occur to me to look for the papers.
381
00:21:33,625 --> 00:21:36,958
I mean, what the hell for
Would they love them?
382
00:21:37,796 --> 00:21:40,424
He posed as a technician
to enter the building.
383
00:21:40,499 --> 00:21:43,491
There are three addresses listed
on the company list...
384
00:21:43,568 --> 00:21:46,162
...and they are within range
of the cameras.
385
00:21:46,238 --> 00:21:50,106
- One is Cassie's building.
- And they've already checked everything.
386
00:21:50,175 --> 00:21:53,110
That is, the receiver must be
in one of the other two.
387
00:21:53,178 --> 00:21:55,510
I asked to be sent
fax work orders.
388
00:21:55,580 --> 00:21:57,810
Look at the signatures below.
389
00:21:57,883 --> 00:21:58,907
They don't match.
390
00:21:58,984 --> 00:22:02,215
One of them is fake.
The same one that appears in the false order...
391
00:22:02,287 --> 00:22:05,745
...from Cassie's building.
It includes a charge...
392
00:22:05,824 --> 00:22:08,292
...for an ADSL line
unauthorized in the basement.
393
00:22:08,360 --> 00:22:10,385
There, I could transmit
a video signal.
394
00:22:10,462 --> 00:22:11,554
Munch and Fin with the technician.
395
00:22:11,630 --> 00:22:14,724
Let them go to that building right now.
396
00:22:15,200 --> 00:22:18,135
236 WEST 64 STREET
THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 28
397
00:22:18,203 --> 00:22:20,797
Why do they always touch us
the most glamorous jobs?
398
00:22:20,872 --> 00:22:23,602
Because Cragen likes it
our predisposition.
399
00:22:23,775 --> 00:22:25,902
If I wanted to walk
through the dirt and the darkness...
400
00:22:25,977 --> 00:22:27,842
...would be from the Department of Health.
401
00:22:27,913 --> 00:22:30,848
- Here, guys.
- What's that?
402
00:22:30,916 --> 00:22:35,216
It looks like a telephone box.
And that must be the ADSL line.
403
00:22:35,287 --> 00:22:38,085
Like the one that connects my
computer to the Internet.
404
00:22:38,156 --> 00:22:40,590
Can you give me a hand, please?
405
00:22:42,127 --> 00:22:44,527
There is the receiver,
connected to a computer...
406
00:22:44,596 --> 00:22:46,791
...and those four cables
correspond to the cameras.
407
00:22:46,865 --> 00:22:48,730
What is the computer for?
408
00:22:48,800 --> 00:22:50,427
Must have a video program...
409
00:22:50,502 --> 00:22:52,333
...to transmit the
images with this.
410
00:22:52,404 --> 00:22:54,964
- Where to?
- Where you can connect another computer.
411
00:22:55,040 --> 00:22:57,975
So he sends the
videos online?
412
00:22:58,043 --> 00:23:00,307
Welcome to the digital age.
413
00:23:00,379 --> 00:23:02,813
The perpetrator of the crime has
your own site on the Internet.
414
00:23:02,881 --> 00:23:06,408
Captures the video signal with a
receiver in a nearby building...
415
00:23:06,485 --> 00:23:10,319
...and transmits it through a line
ADSL paid by the security company.
416
00:23:10,389 --> 00:23:11,822
How many visits are there to the site?
417
00:23:11,890 --> 00:23:14,552
Depending on the service provider
on the Internet, there are many...
418
00:23:14,626 --> 00:23:16,184
...but all from the same computer.
419
00:23:16,261 --> 00:23:17,353
Whose is it?
420
00:23:17,429 --> 00:23:20,796
From one Terry Willard,
who lives at 23rd and Lexington.
421
00:23:23,301 --> 00:23:26,361
Terry Willard? We are from the police.
Open the door.
422
00:23:26,438 --> 00:23:28,633
You won't be in trouble, right?
423
00:23:28,707 --> 00:23:32,074
This is a court order.
Can you open the door please?
424
00:23:42,454 --> 00:23:44,752
Could you please stay outside?
425
00:23:45,056 --> 00:23:47,024
Do you know where Terry is?
426
00:23:47,125 --> 00:23:50,185
At work, I guess. What did he do?
427
00:23:50,796 --> 00:23:53,094
It's part of an investigation.
428
00:23:59,805 --> 00:24:02,239
- Do you have keys to here?
- No.
429
00:24:06,745 --> 00:24:08,804
Guys, come see this.
430
00:24:17,122 --> 00:24:18,953
Now that is devotion.
431
00:24:19,991 --> 00:24:22,255
Almost finished another roll.
432
00:24:22,327 --> 00:24:24,761
More photos for your collection.
433
00:24:25,096 --> 00:24:28,156
Indiana University, 1997.
434
00:24:28,300 --> 00:24:30,530
He has harassed her since that time.
435
00:24:30,635 --> 00:24:33,126
He's the horror fan.
436
00:24:33,839 --> 00:24:36,831
Terry is his number one fan.
437
00:24:41,613 --> 00:24:43,205
Let's take the machine to the laboratory...
438
00:24:43,281 --> 00:24:45,647
...so that Morales
check the hard drive.
439
00:24:45,717 --> 00:24:48,083
And the DVDs too.
Maybe he filmed the attack.
440
00:24:48,153 --> 00:24:50,246
Yes. Let's do a cleanup.
441
00:24:53,625 --> 00:24:56,560
He is a good person, friendly and kind.
442
00:24:56,661 --> 00:25:00,495
- It seems like you know him pretty well.
- We know each other quite a bit.
443
00:25:00,632 --> 00:25:03,396
- How much?
- He's my boyfriend.
444
00:25:05,537 --> 00:25:08,370
- Since when?
- Since Thanksgiving.
445
00:25:08,440 --> 00:25:09,964
Since we don't have any relatives here...
446
00:25:10,041 --> 00:25:12,942
...I asked him if he wanted to come
to the corner cafe.
447
00:25:13,311 --> 00:25:15,279
That was our first date.
448
00:25:16,147 --> 00:25:17,842
Have you ever entered that room?
449
00:25:17,916 --> 00:25:20,817
It's your office, I never had
reasons to enter.
450
00:25:21,119 --> 00:25:23,713
Did you ever name him
to a friend named Cassie?
451
00:25:23,788 --> 00:25:25,312
From university, perhaps.
452
00:25:25,390 --> 00:25:28,291
He doesn't have many friends.
He is very busy with his work.
453
00:25:28,360 --> 00:25:29,918
What do you do for a living?
454
00:25:29,995 --> 00:25:32,520
He is an owner partner
from an Internet company in SoHo.
455
00:25:32,597 --> 00:25:35,623
They are doing very well,
That's why he works at any time.
456
00:25:35,700 --> 00:25:38,066
- What is the name of the company?
- Webtrends.
457
00:25:38,136 --> 00:25:42,095
The office is in one of those buildings
tall glass, next to the river.
458
00:25:42,307 --> 00:25:46,334
- We fired Terry a few months ago.
- Wasn't he a partner-owner?
459
00:25:46,411 --> 00:25:51,075
No. Terry doesn't know how to deal with people,
but he is a very good site designer.
460
00:25:51,149 --> 00:25:52,480
And why was he fired?
461
00:25:52,551 --> 00:25:55,918
When stocks fell,
We had to fire 90% of the staff.
462
00:25:55,987 --> 00:26:00,390
A few months ago, all these cubicles
They were full of designers and employees.
463
00:26:00,458 --> 00:26:03,018
Now we are ready
of going bankrupt.
464
00:26:03,161 --> 00:26:05,629
This was Terry's desk.
465
00:26:05,830 --> 00:26:07,889
When we gave
the bad news, he went crazy.
466
00:26:07,966 --> 00:26:09,228
Does he have a bad character?
467
00:26:09,301 --> 00:26:12,759
That's the strange thing. He was so quiet,
that you forgot it was there.
468
00:26:12,837 --> 00:26:16,671
- But the last few weeks I was distracted.
- Yeah? Because?
469
00:26:17,309 --> 00:26:18,776
Maybe he heard the rumor.
470
00:26:18,843 --> 00:26:21,744
We didn't want to throw him out,
but his behavior became erratic.
471
00:26:21,813 --> 00:26:24,805
- He left us no alternative.
- Erratic? As?
472
00:26:24,883 --> 00:26:26,475
He was missing several days in a row.
473
00:26:26,551 --> 00:26:28,883
He arrived with red eyes,
like without sleep.
474
00:26:28,954 --> 00:26:32,151
I guess when everything rotted,
lost his sanity.
475
00:26:34,893 --> 00:26:37,453
These four images were
on the hard drive.
476
00:26:37,529 --> 00:26:38,826
How did he do it?
477
00:26:38,897 --> 00:26:41,297
He downloaded them from the cameras
to the computer...
478
00:26:41,366 --> 00:26:44,665
...where he set up the video
and burned it to a DVD.
479
00:26:44,836 --> 00:26:48,567
- It's his version of the movie.
- Edited 20 days, with music and everything.
480
00:26:48,640 --> 00:26:50,870
Is this the day of the attack?
481
00:26:52,544 --> 00:26:55,377
Yes, this is that morning, unedited.
482
00:26:55,513 --> 00:26:57,743
Fast forward to the evening.
483
00:27:01,953 --> 00:27:03,784
There you can see how it bursts.
484
00:27:05,423 --> 00:27:08,119
The door was closed. It was left without light.
485
00:27:08,426 --> 00:27:11,486
I'm sorry, though
Maybe this interests you.
486
00:27:14,699 --> 00:27:16,894
"The legend of Cassie and Terry."
487
00:27:16,968 --> 00:27:20,734
A virtual diary. The love story
It starts at Indiana University.
488
00:27:20,805 --> 00:27:22,329
He hears her playing the cello.
489
00:27:22,407 --> 00:27:24,238
It struck a chord with him.
490
00:27:24,309 --> 00:27:26,209
He follows her around the world to competitions.
491
00:27:26,277 --> 00:27:28,711
And the sad part begins
when Terry goes to jail.
492
00:27:28,780 --> 00:27:29,804
Because?
493
00:27:29,881 --> 00:27:33,044
For card fraud,
to pay for trips. Seven months.
494
00:27:33,118 --> 00:27:36,383
When he gets out of jail,
Cassie has already graduated and moved out.
495
00:27:36,454 --> 00:27:38,945
Then hire
to an Internet company...
496
00:27:39,024 --> 00:27:41,219
...buy the tax code
from her for $45...
497
00:27:41,292 --> 00:27:43,556
...and so he finds out that
works at the Symphony.
498
00:27:43,628 --> 00:27:46,324
It's easy. A computer is enough
connected to the Internet.
499
00:27:46,398 --> 00:27:49,333
Yes, but is there something there
What links him to the attack?
500
00:27:49,401 --> 00:27:51,767
As the author of the crime, no.
We don't know his whereabouts.
501
00:27:51,836 --> 00:27:53,827
The girlfriend hasn't seen him for two days.
502
00:27:53,905 --> 00:27:55,202
The guy knows he's suspicious.
503
00:27:55,273 --> 00:27:58,709
- Luckily, he's still in the city.
- How do we know?
504
00:27:58,777 --> 00:28:01,905
He has about six Internet accounts,
all with false names.
505
00:28:01,980 --> 00:28:04,312
You are using computers
public cyber cafes...
506
00:28:04,382 --> 00:28:07,647
...and bookstores on Broadway Street
to access their sites.
507
00:28:07,719 --> 00:28:10,244
Morales did not cancel the card
nor did it close the sites...
508
00:28:10,321 --> 00:28:12,289
...so we could track him.
509
00:28:12,357 --> 00:28:15,622
If you stay connected for a while,
the provider can detect where it is.
510
00:28:15,694 --> 00:28:19,061
- And if not?
- Well, it's not very far.
511
00:28:19,130 --> 00:28:20,995
We could get him out of hiding.
512
00:28:21,066 --> 00:28:24,866
Have Benson and Stabler bring Cassie
to talk to her.
513
00:28:27,005 --> 00:28:28,005
Is that one?
514
00:28:28,073 --> 00:28:31,042
It's a photo from four years ago.
It may have changed.
515
00:28:31,109 --> 00:28:33,543
He followed you since college.
516
00:28:33,745 --> 00:28:36,043
- Because?
- He's obsessed with you.
517
00:28:36,114 --> 00:28:39,379
But I don't know him,
I had never seen it.
518
00:28:39,451 --> 00:28:41,180
He thinks he knows you.
519
00:28:41,252 --> 00:28:44,983
In his head, he invented a whole
love story with you.
520
00:28:45,056 --> 00:28:48,514
With the cameras I could keep
fantasy without risking rejection.
521
00:28:48,593 --> 00:28:49,685
How do they know?
522
00:28:49,761 --> 00:28:53,993
Because he keeps a diary with details
of his relationship with you 4 years ago.
523
00:28:54,065 --> 00:28:56,465
How can you be jealous,
If you don't even know me?
524
00:28:56,534 --> 00:29:00,561
That's part of the disease.
He thinks you two are in love.
525
00:29:00,638 --> 00:29:02,765
Well, is there no way to stop it?
526
00:29:02,841 --> 00:29:06,242
We think so,
but we need your help.
527
00:29:06,311 --> 00:29:09,474
Terry visits a website
dedicated to you...
528
00:29:09,547 --> 00:29:12,038
...about two or three times a day.
529
00:29:12,917 --> 00:29:14,509
And what would I have to do?
530
00:29:14,586 --> 00:29:18,716
We would like you to include a message
for him in your interviews.
531
00:29:19,090 --> 00:29:20,489
That you would dedicate your presentation to him.
532
00:29:20,558 --> 00:29:23,356
As a way of saying
how important it is to you.
533
00:29:23,428 --> 00:29:25,020
But that guy is crazy.
534
00:29:25,096 --> 00:29:29,192
We will cover all entries.
We'll grab him before he gets close.
535
00:29:29,267 --> 00:29:31,929
They haven't caught him yet.
Why would I trust now?
536
00:29:32,003 --> 00:29:35,905
Cassie, this is the best chance for
have it in a controlled situation...
537
00:29:35,974 --> 00:29:37,134
...under our conditions.
538
00:29:37,208 --> 00:29:39,802
But we can't do it
if you don't accept.
539
00:29:45,250 --> 00:29:47,241
CONCERT HALL
2285 BROADWAY
540
00:29:47,318 --> 00:29:48,546
FRIDAY, MARCH 1
541
00:30:07,872 --> 00:30:09,203
There are cameras...
542
00:30:10,408 --> 00:30:11,466
...in all entries.
543
00:30:11,543 --> 00:30:14,011
We connect them to the program
facial identification...
544
00:30:14,078 --> 00:30:16,103
...that we have on this computer.
545
00:30:16,181 --> 00:30:17,944
I didn't know we could afford this luxury.
546
00:30:18,016 --> 00:30:20,143
Every time a person passes by
through the entrance...
547
00:30:20,218 --> 00:30:22,379
...the camera takes pictures of his face...
548
00:30:22,453 --> 00:30:26,514
...the program scans the photos and
He compares them with those of the convicts.
549
00:30:26,591 --> 00:30:29,856
It's going to be a busy night.
All kinds of people come to the theater.
550
00:30:29,928 --> 00:30:33,056
For today, I uploaded only one photo
to compare. Terry Willard's.
551
00:30:33,131 --> 00:30:34,564
What if he dresses up?
552
00:30:34,632 --> 00:30:36,156
We configure the identification...
553
00:30:36,234 --> 00:30:39,203
...to recognize it even if there is
differences between the photo and your face.
554
00:30:39,270 --> 00:30:43,172
For example, facial hair changes,
glasses and weight variations.
555
00:30:43,241 --> 00:30:45,869
The technological response
to racial profiling.
556
00:30:45,944 --> 00:30:47,969
Big Brother's new toy.
557
00:30:48,046 --> 00:30:51,345
HALLWAY 2
558
00:30:52,250 --> 00:30:54,241
- What is it?
- A coincidence.
559
00:30:54,319 --> 00:30:58,619
Hallway 2. The type of beard,
behind the woman in the red dress.
560
00:31:00,992 --> 00:31:03,256
Sir, come with us, please.
561
00:31:04,729 --> 00:31:06,219
High. There is another one in hallway 4.
562
00:31:06,297 --> 00:31:07,491
COINCIDENCE
563
00:31:07,565 --> 00:31:09,192
How many Terry Willards will there be?
564
00:31:09,267 --> 00:31:11,428
There can be several, due to the configuration.
565
00:31:11,502 --> 00:31:14,130
Forward. I wait for the next one.
566
00:31:24,616 --> 00:31:26,015
I can't do this.
567
00:31:26,084 --> 00:31:29,281
We are checking everyone.
If he comes, we will catch him.
568
00:31:29,354 --> 00:31:31,754
Don't worry.
Think about the music, okay?
569
00:31:31,823 --> 00:31:34,053
I'll be in the front row.
570
00:31:34,158 --> 00:31:36,023
You're going to play very well.
571
00:31:53,978 --> 00:31:56,105
Sorry for the inconvenience.
572
00:31:57,916 --> 00:32:01,408
- False alarm.
- Me too. Damn teams.
573
00:32:01,486 --> 00:32:04,011
Detectives, I found this
outside the dressing room.
574
00:32:04,088 --> 00:32:06,579
It's for Miss Germaine.
575
00:32:08,526 --> 00:32:11,461
- What's up?
- A dead rat.
576
00:32:11,529 --> 00:32:13,895
How the hell did they get in with that?
577
00:32:14,332 --> 00:32:15,856
Forward.
578
00:32:17,268 --> 00:32:20,032
Where? Well, let's go.
579
00:32:20,104 --> 00:32:22,163
- What's happening?
- Another coincidence.
580
00:32:35,687 --> 00:32:37,587
Excuse me, sir. I need you to accompany me.
581
00:32:37,655 --> 00:32:39,282
- No.
- Sir, come with me.
582
00:32:39,357 --> 00:32:40,449
- No.
- Sir.
583
00:32:41,292 --> 00:32:45,228
Leave me alone, she invited me.
Cassie invited me.
584
00:32:48,232 --> 00:32:50,132
There's no one like Cassie.
585
00:32:50,201 --> 00:32:52,465
I don't think they move
in the same circles.
586
00:32:52,537 --> 00:32:53,834
How did you meet?
587
00:32:53,905 --> 00:32:56,203
I was going through music school...
588
00:32:56,274 --> 00:32:58,242
...when I heard someone knocking.
589
00:32:58,476 --> 00:32:59,704
The cello?
590
00:32:59,844 --> 00:33:03,211
I opened the door and there I saw her,
playing alone on stage.
591
00:33:03,281 --> 00:33:05,272
I stayed listening and, when it finished...
592
00:33:05,350 --> 00:33:09,047
...he looked up,
He saw me and smiled at me.
593
00:33:09,120 --> 00:33:10,144
There was a connection.
594
00:33:10,221 --> 00:33:13,190
So I knew we would pass
the rest of our lives together.
595
00:33:13,257 --> 00:33:18,190
But it hasn't been easy, so many trips,
prison, dead-end jobs.
596
00:33:18,997 --> 00:33:21,022
There were many sacrifices
to be with her.
597
00:33:21,099 --> 00:33:23,567
When you love someone,
It is not sacrifice.
598
00:33:23,634 --> 00:33:25,864
What he says is that he must
It hurt you a lot...
599
00:33:25,937 --> 00:33:28,405
...when you saw her doing
love with another.
600
00:33:28,539 --> 00:33:30,302
It wasn't her fault.
601
00:33:30,908 --> 00:33:32,466
Because?
602
00:33:32,543 --> 00:33:34,704
He got her drunk and
took advantage of it.
603
00:33:34,779 --> 00:33:37,077
Come on, Terry.
I know you love her, but you're not stupid.
604
00:33:37,148 --> 00:33:39,241
She knew you were looking at her
and laughed in your face.
605
00:33:39,317 --> 00:33:40,784
No, it wasn't like that.
606
00:33:40,852 --> 00:33:43,446
He sacrificed so much,
and she treats him like trash.
607
00:33:43,521 --> 00:33:45,682
I would also like to
to beat her to death!
608
00:33:45,757 --> 00:33:50,723
I would never hurt Cassie, I love her.
When that guy hit her, it was horrible.
609
00:33:57,001 --> 00:34:00,960
-How do you know they hit her?
- Because I saw it.
610
00:34:01,039 --> 00:34:04,406
With the cameras you put in his
room to spy on her?
611
00:34:07,045 --> 00:34:09,013
I found your site on the Internet.
612
00:34:09,080 --> 00:34:13,176
Were you browsing the Internet
And by chance did you find the site?
613
00:34:13,251 --> 00:34:14,275
I don't believe it.
614
00:34:14,352 --> 00:34:16,252
We know what you did with the cards.
615
00:34:16,320 --> 00:34:21,053
We know you bought the cameras.
What about the cello and the rat?
616
00:34:25,096 --> 00:34:28,497
- I don't know what they're talking about.
- Why are you running away, Terry?
617
00:34:28,566 --> 00:34:31,126
Aimee said they wanted to lock me up
for something I didn't do.
618
00:34:31,202 --> 00:34:33,397
Aimee? Your other girlfriend?
619
00:34:34,939 --> 00:34:37,772
She's not my girlfriend.
She is the owner of my apartment.
620
00:34:37,875 --> 00:34:40,002
- She doesn't say the same.
- Then he lies.
621
00:34:40,078 --> 00:34:41,636
You know what, Terry? You lie.
622
00:34:41,712 --> 00:34:43,441
You seduce her to avoid paying the rent...
623
00:34:43,514 --> 00:34:45,311
...and you lie because we
you take for fools.
624
00:34:45,383 --> 00:34:46,407
No!
625
00:34:46,484 --> 00:34:48,884
We can't help you
If you don't help yourself!
626
00:34:48,953 --> 00:34:53,151
Tell us the truth and maybe we will convince
to the prosecutor to give you a break.
627
00:34:53,224 --> 00:34:55,692
If not, we can't do anything.
628
00:34:57,228 --> 00:35:01,631
I already told you the truth.
I couldn't hurt her.
629
00:35:04,569 --> 00:35:05,729
Never.
630
00:35:07,572 --> 00:35:10,336
We have no evidence to link it
to attack or threats.
631
00:35:10,408 --> 00:35:11,875
Neither forensic nor testimonial.
632
00:35:11,943 --> 00:35:14,912
And the cameras?
He used a fake card to buy them.
633
00:35:14,979 --> 00:35:17,607
There is no evidence that it was him
who used the card.
634
00:35:17,682 --> 00:35:21,379
- We found his prints at Cassie's house.
- Yes, there was illegal entry.
635
00:35:21,452 --> 00:35:23,545
The guy harassed her.
636
00:35:23,821 --> 00:35:26,187
There is no evidence
that he wanted to scare her.
637
00:35:26,257 --> 00:35:28,657
Only that he wanted to stay
in hiding.
638
00:35:28,726 --> 00:35:31,820
What's more, Cassie had never seen him before.
until the day of the concert.
639
00:35:31,896 --> 00:35:33,796
And what about that guy from Jersey?
640
00:35:33,865 --> 00:35:37,028
They gave him 30 years for installing cameras
in his tenant's house.
641
00:35:37,101 --> 00:35:40,798
When transmitting sound, there was a crime
communications interception.
642
00:35:40,872 --> 00:35:44,103
-Terry did not record or transmit sound.
- And what do we have left?
643
00:35:44,175 --> 00:35:46,700
How did they find the uniform?
security in your home...
644
00:35:46,777 --> 00:35:49,211
...I can charge him with theft from the truck.
645
00:35:49,280 --> 00:35:50,577
That's all?
646
00:35:50,648 --> 00:35:54,744
Until the law catches up
With technology, I'm afraid so.
647
00:35:56,954 --> 00:35:59,388
At least we got him to stop spying on her.
648
00:35:59,457 --> 00:36:02,984
I read that once a
image to the Internet, it cannot be destroyed.
649
00:36:03,060 --> 00:36:05,255
Nice way to get there
to immortality.
650
00:36:05,329 --> 00:36:08,958
I got a call from Cabot.
Aimee posted Terry's bail.
651
00:36:09,033 --> 00:36:11,661
He is in prison for spying with cameras
to another woman...
652
00:36:11,736 --> 00:36:13,260
...and she comes to rescue him?
653
00:36:13,337 --> 00:36:14,668
Can love be so blind?
654
00:36:14,739 --> 00:36:17,105
I'm going to take custody of Cassie.
I don't trust him.
655
00:36:17,175 --> 00:36:18,836
It's already too late.
656
00:36:21,012 --> 00:36:23,242
Someone shot Cassie Germaine.
657
00:36:25,883 --> 00:36:29,182
Dr. Thomas, contact the pharmacy.
658
00:36:29,253 --> 00:36:30,914
How is it?
659
00:36:31,088 --> 00:36:32,715
- In surgery.
- What happened?
660
00:36:32,790 --> 00:36:36,851
He picked me up on the way to work,
and I had forgotten my wallet.
661
00:36:36,928 --> 00:36:39,260
When I opened the door,
I heard the shots...
662
00:36:39,330 --> 00:36:41,264
...I ran back and saw her lying there.
663
00:36:41,332 --> 00:36:43,459
-Kevin Wilson?
- Yes.
664
00:36:43,801 --> 00:36:47,168
- Dr. Barrett, Cassie's surgeon.
- Is he going to recover?
665
00:36:47,238 --> 00:36:50,503
- He was lucky, it seems so.
- Can we talk for a second, doctor?
666
00:36:50,575 --> 00:36:53,203
- Yes.
- Wait a moment. Tell me what happened.
667
00:36:53,744 --> 00:36:56,076
Two shots from behind.
One in the left kidney...
668
00:36:56,147 --> 00:36:57,444
...and the other close to the heart.
669
00:36:57,515 --> 00:36:59,642
- Sorry.
- Do you have any idea of the caliber?
670
00:36:59,717 --> 00:37:04,086
A .22 caliber, maybe. and for
the hole, I think it was at point-blank range.
671
00:37:04,155 --> 00:37:07,215
-When can we talk to her?
- As soon as you come out of the operating room.
672
00:37:07,291 --> 00:37:08,383
Well.
673
00:37:09,327 --> 00:37:12,785
It was Munch. According to the supplier,
Someone visited Terry's site.
674
00:37:12,863 --> 00:37:15,889
- From where?
- From an Internet cafe, 2 blocks from here.
675
00:37:16,033 --> 00:37:17,660
Well. Why don't you go?
676
00:37:17,735 --> 00:37:20,203
I'm staying with Cassie,
Let's see if he saw anything.
677
00:37:21,739 --> 00:37:23,502
JOE CYBER CAFE
2356 BROADWAY
678
00:37:23,574 --> 00:37:25,007
SATURDAY, MARCH 2
679
00:37:26,911 --> 00:37:29,880
- Stay connected.
- Well, let's go in.
680
00:37:47,331 --> 00:37:48,457
John.
681
00:37:58,809 --> 00:38:01,903
- Do you enjoy the show?
- I'm not doing anything.
682
00:38:01,979 --> 00:38:04,971
Aren't you a little young to be looking at this?
683
00:38:05,049 --> 00:38:06,573
There was another guy sitting.
684
00:38:06,651 --> 00:38:08,175
He left everything on, and I came to see.
685
00:38:08,252 --> 00:38:09,776
Who was it?
686
00:38:10,321 --> 00:38:13,222
A guy with shaggy hair.
I was crazy.
687
00:38:13,291 --> 00:38:16,886
I was whining because a girl
I had left him for someone else, or something like that.
688
00:38:16,961 --> 00:38:19,054
- Is this this one?
- Yes.
689
00:38:19,130 --> 00:38:22,122
- Where did he go?
- He left 10 minutes ago.
690
00:38:22,199 --> 00:38:24,394
They say the guy left this.
691
00:38:25,303 --> 00:38:26,303
Aimee Slocum.
692
00:38:26,370 --> 00:38:27,667
Or is she the dumbest in the world...
693
00:38:27,738 --> 00:38:29,296
...or she's smarter than she seems.
694
00:38:29,373 --> 00:38:31,603
Don't you have schoolwork?
695
00:38:32,276 --> 00:38:34,972
- You can't go far without money.
- Unless they help him.
696
00:38:35,046 --> 00:38:36,946
- Aimee.
- She always saves him.
697
00:38:37,014 --> 00:38:38,140
Why don't they watch her?
698
00:38:38,215 --> 00:38:42,015
I'm going to see
if Olivia found out something with Cassie.
699
00:38:43,154 --> 00:38:44,314
Aimee?
700
00:38:45,423 --> 00:38:49,382
I'm in a hurry.
I'm making dinner for a friend in Brooklyn.
701
00:38:49,460 --> 00:38:51,928
- Do you want us to take you?
- A taxi is waiting for me.
702
00:38:51,996 --> 00:38:53,623
We're looking for Terry.
703
00:38:53,698 --> 00:38:56,531
Since he left the
jail, he has not returned.
704
00:38:56,600 --> 00:38:58,329
How did he achieve this?
705
00:38:59,337 --> 00:39:00,497
Where did they find it?
706
00:39:00,571 --> 00:39:03,540
In an internet cafe
where he went to visit his favorite place.
707
00:39:03,607 --> 00:39:07,634
- You know, Cassie's House.
- There must be some mistake.
708
00:39:07,712 --> 00:39:10,112
Cassie was shot this morning.
709
00:39:10,581 --> 00:39:14,017
Terry wasn't it, it's the man
sweetest I know.
710
00:39:14,085 --> 00:39:16,576
We just want to take care of you
so that it doesn't hurt you.
711
00:39:16,654 --> 00:39:18,019
They don't know him, detective.
712
00:39:18,089 --> 00:39:19,920
If you know anything about him, call us, okay?
713
00:39:19,990 --> 00:39:23,153
Yes. Sorry, but I'm leaving now.
I'm late.
714
00:39:25,129 --> 00:39:27,188
Did you believe all that about Brooklyn's friend?
715
00:39:27,264 --> 00:39:29,289
- Of course not.
- Let's follow her.
716
00:39:30,701 --> 00:39:35,669
I was waiting in Kevin's garage
and I felt a pain in my back. That...
717
00:39:37,608 --> 00:39:39,166
My legs went weak.
718
00:39:39,243 --> 00:39:43,646
- Did you see anyone?
- No. When I looked up, it wasn't there.
719
00:39:44,248 --> 00:39:46,341
Well, outside there is a
guard officer...
720
00:39:46,417 --> 00:39:48,112
...so no one will enter.
721
00:39:49,120 --> 00:39:50,485
Detectives?
722
00:39:52,890 --> 00:39:55,120
- Is all this for her?
- According to the card, yes.
723
00:39:55,192 --> 00:39:56,420
One moment.
724
00:39:59,630 --> 00:40:04,465
- "Always together. I love you, Me." Where did it go?
- An employee brought them.
725
00:40:04,969 --> 00:40:07,938
- Hey, hey, wait.
- What did I do?
726
00:40:08,005 --> 00:40:11,202
Show me your ID.
Who sent the flowers?
727
00:40:11,275 --> 00:40:13,266
I don't know, I just deliver them.
728
00:40:13,344 --> 00:40:14,709
Benson.
729
00:40:14,779 --> 00:40:15,779
The bride leaves.
730
00:40:15,846 --> 00:40:18,610
He changed taxis twice,
He reached the end of the world and came back.
731
00:40:18,682 --> 00:40:21,651
He ended up in a club in Latin Harlem.
732
00:40:21,719 --> 00:40:23,016
I would hurry.
733
00:40:23,087 --> 00:40:25,954
- It's in room 602.
- We have the fourth.
734
00:40:31,095 --> 00:40:34,223
It's that one. I cover the stairs,
in case Terry escapes.
735
00:40:34,298 --> 00:40:36,163
I cover the alley.
736
00:40:39,904 --> 00:40:42,805
Aimee, this is Detective Benson.
737
00:40:42,873 --> 00:40:44,101
Go away.
738
00:40:46,110 --> 00:40:49,546
Aimee, we're not going anywhere.
Open the door.
739
00:41:05,463 --> 00:41:07,863
- Aimee, where is Terry?
- He went away.
740
00:41:09,433 --> 00:41:12,596
- Why did you stay?
- I had to take a shower.
741
00:41:15,473 --> 00:41:19,773
I was going to take him to Oklahoma
to start a new life.
742
00:41:20,377 --> 00:41:23,869
But Terry didn't want to leave that bitch.
743
00:41:26,083 --> 00:41:27,710
You mean Cassie?
744
00:41:28,385 --> 00:41:30,717
I warned him to leave him alone.
745
00:41:31,622 --> 00:41:34,523
So you attacked her
and you cut his hair.
746
00:41:35,092 --> 00:41:37,117
Well, he didn't pay attention to me.
747
00:41:37,728 --> 00:41:39,320
Then you shot him.
748
00:41:39,497 --> 00:41:43,934
I had to stop her.
I'm the only one who truly loves him.
749
00:41:45,002 --> 00:41:46,993
Nice way to show it.
750
00:41:54,211 --> 00:41:58,841
I didn't know what else to do.
She has many men.
751
00:41:59,984 --> 00:42:02,179
And Terry is the only one I have.
