in the Royal Signals, communications.

It's very humbling.

in your book about how your grandfather

was rescued on this very ship

and how he saved all of those
lives on Christmas Eve

before tragically losing his own.

I've learned of the struggle and sacrifice

of those who gave everything
so that we can stand here today

as free people and celebrate

their unselfish devotion
to doing what's right.

It's been very eye-opening,

that I've discovered what courage

and true love look like,
