'the talk about it, is long'.. Qdwa! A project to revive the Ummah.. with the biography of the best of the creation, Muhammad, may Salat and Salam be upon him and upon his family.. At the first season, we explored some of his scented Serah.. may Salat and Salam be upon him and upon his family.. in addition to some of his merits.. and some stories of people who were influenced with his life, and with the lives of his Sahaba.. may Allah please them, and be pleased of them. The thing which I was keen about it most, was to make her.. meet her lord with a sound heart. Some individuals are still repeating the question.. Why do we have to do as the prophet (ﷺ)? and in what way we should treat him? For this we made this season.. which is the second.. of Qdwa. "And [mention] when Abraham said, "My Lord, show me how You give life to the dead." [Allah] said, "Have you not believed?" He said, "Yes, but [I ask] only that my heart may be satisfied.".. " 2:160 'He was the one, of whose light'.. 'the universe smile became illuminated'.. ' and the Salat for him, was the Dhikr of everyone'.. 'may Salat be upon him and upon his family'. 'He is the intercessor'.. 'and he is the praised'.. 'Al-Mustafa (the chosen one)'.. ' raise Salat upon him'. What is the way, we should behave with the prophet (ﷺ)? should we treat him, with respect and glory? Because, he was a prophet and a messenger, sent to us, from Allah, Almighty.. or, should we treat him like a father? because he has a favor upon his children, for upbringing them? or, should we treat him, (ﷺ).. like citizens with their leader.. the ruler.. because, he was the leader of this Ummah, and the ruler.. and therefore, we must obey him. or, should we treat him, (ﷺ).. with love and deep affection? so, we obey his orders.. and follow his instructions.. in this regard. or, should we treat him, (ﷺ), with all of the mentioned? Yes, by Allah.. he, (ﷺ), deserves to be treated with all the mentioned ways of good treatment. What was the feeling of the Sahabah.. when they were welcoming the messenger of Allah, (ﷺ).. for the first time, in their city, Al-Madinah? The best of this Ummah.. the Sahaba, may Allah please them all.. they used to treat the prophet (ﷺ), with all the mentioned ways of good treatment.. they used to respect him, and glorify him, (ﷺ).. as a leader and as a ruler. and give him, all the due obeying. To the extent that.. as narrated by Amr Ibn Al-'Aas, may Allah please him and be pleased of him.. He said, he cannot describe the prophet (ﷺ)!! because, he never looked at him straight.. Subhan Allah, this is how much they used to respect him.. why shouldn't we take him as our role model? They strangled him with the robe, around his neck. and, they beaten him till he lost consciousness, and Abu Bakr came.. he said: do you want to kill a man because he says, Allah is my Lord? and, they put the stomach of a camel, on his back. The prophet (ﷺ), was very patient.. Also, they used to treat him, (ﷺ), with love and passion.. from their loving hearts.. and loyal souls.. and obsessed minds. For this, they followed him, without thinking or asking.. and they imitated him, without asking for a reason, without arguing! One day.. They were in the masjid, doing Salat with the prophet (ﷺ).. As usual, they used to do Salat with their shoes on.. Then, the prophet (ﷺ) took off his shoes. it was at the middle of the Salat.. without warning or prearrangement.. without hesitation.. the Sahaba behind him, did the same, exactly like him, (ﷺ) and the Salat was continued.. After the end the the Salat.. the prophet (ﷺ) asked them, why did you do thins? they replied, with the tongue of an obedient loving follower.. O messenger of Allah, you took off your shoes, so we did! This was the reason! He said: Because my brother Jibril came to me.. and he told me that my shoes had filth in them.. so I took them off.. and continued with the Salat. This is how they followed him.. why shouldn't we take him as our role model? 'Al-Mustafa (the chosen one)'.. ' raise Salat upon him'. There are varied countries.. varied languages.. varied cultures. However, it is the same, the love of the prophet (ﷺ). This means that i should know everything about the prophet (ﷺ).. What did he do? what did he told us about Islam.. his instructions.. etc. he was a just and a trustworthy person.. At the beginning, I wasn't feeling loving him.. Not because, I didn't want to, may Allah forgive me.. But, I wasn't knowing how to love him, (ﷺ). For this, I supplicated Allah, Almighty, daily.. to grant me knowledge and wisdom.. and I asked him, to grant me the love of the prophet, (ﷺ) The more we speak about our love to the prophet (ﷺ).. yet, the speech is not enough.. However, the impression is that; his love is a basic part of Iman. and believing in him is an essential part of Dawa to Islam. It is hard not to see a person, then you believe in him, love him and follow him.. The first time, I read the prophetic Hadiths, I felt loving him, (ﷺ)! and it is hard to explain this love. They didn't only obey the prophet (ﷺ).. but, they rushed to do so.. They used to obey all his orders. without hesitation.. Anas Ibn Malik, may Allah please him and be pleased of him.. he said.. about the day, the Khamr was prohibited; I was standing serving Khamr to Abu Talha, and Abu Ayyub, and.. other Sahaba. in our house.. Then, a man came, he said: Have you heard the news!! they said: No! he said: The Khamr, is prohibited now! Abu Talha said: O Anas.. discard the contents of these jars.. He said, they didn't ask about it, nor they mention it, after the news said by that man. However, they used to love Khamr, so much.. and they used to drink it for years. This is how they used to obey the prophet (ﷺ), with speed. why shouldn't we take him as our role model? After what we've said, I wonder.. Could we feel, the feelings of the Sahaba, and the prophet (ﷺ) after the trials they passed through.. to bing us Islam.. have we felt these situations.. I wish so.. I wish all the Ummah can feel this.. For appreciation.. In this place, the Sahaba offered a lot, to deliver this religion to us.. in a pure and beautiful form.. For this, we are here, to speak from this place.. to convey this true feeling, even if, to one person.. In this place, where the Sahaba, and the prophet, (ﷺ), passed through a lot of issues.. and great battles. They didn't rush to obey him, (ﷺ), only.. but, they did this with severe exaggeration.. In a very amazing occasion.. Jaber Ibn Abdullah, may Allah be pleased of him and please him.. It was a Jummah salat, the prophet (ﷺ), was ready.. he said to people, sit down.. Abdullah Ibn Rawaha, the Sahabi, he was outside the masjid.. he heard the prophet.. so, he sat at his place. until the Khutbah ended.. the prophet (ﷺ) was told about this.. he didn't reprimand him.. and he didn't show that it was strange.. But, he said: may Allah increase your keenness to obey Allah.. and to obey his messenger.. This is how they used to obey the prophet (ﷺ) with exaggeration.. So, why shouldn't we take him as our role model? 'With his speech the heart becomes soft'.. ' and his palm has flooded with affections'.. 'he had the best merits'.. 'he is the honest, the benevolent, and the trustworthy'. 'With his speech the heart becomes soft'.. ' and his palm has flooded with affections'.. Why don't we long for him, (ﷺ), missing him? like the animals have missed him, or that mountain.. which showed a yearning for him, (ﷺ).. and he was just 2 meters from him. Yes.. Muslims might feel loving him, at varied levels.. But, a lover.. even if he would fail to remember or to be attentive.. then, the merits, or the words of his beloved were mentioned.. he will yearn for visiting his Masjid, to see him and to pay him Salam.. and for this, he is ready to pay the cost and to endure the difficulties. and, if he was to choose, between the life of the prophet (ﷺ), and his life.. he will be ready to offer his life, and his son's, to protect the life of the prophet (ﷺ) Some Muslims.. wish to see the prophet, (ﷺ), in a dream.. even if it was for one time.. and for this, they are ready to lose the wealth and the spouse. The prophet (ﷺ), said about such individuals.. 'The people most loving to me from amongst my Ummah.. would be those who would come after me but everyone amongst them.. would have the keenest desire to catch a glimpse of me even at the cost of his family and wealth.' I always supplicate Allah, Almighty, to make me be able to see the prophet (ﷺ) even if it was for one time.. I always pray to Allah, Almighty.. and always send the prophet, (ﷺ), Salat and Salam.. because, they said, if you want to see him in a dream, you have to mention him with Salat, all the times.. But, I did not see him yet.. what shall I say? At all the sites, at Makkah Al-Mukaramah.. there is a memory reminding us of the prophetic Sera.. And, at Al-Madinah Al-Monawarah, there are many monuments and ruins.. they increase our feeling of yearning, for the beloved.. Muhammad, may Salat and Salam be upon him and upon his family.. All Muslims wish, if they would see the prophet (ﷺ), even if it was in a dream. Have you ever seen him in your dream? 'About our longing, what can we say?'.. 'the talk about it, is long'.. 'Our souls are longing' 'eager to meeting the messenger.' 'Our souls are longing' 'eager to meeting the messenger.' 'Our souls are longing' 'eager to meeting the messenger.' With reflection.. we find that, Allah, Almighty has raised the status of the prophet, (ﷺ), and his position.. even among his brothers, the prophets.. and, Allah has granted him special merits.. they were never given to any of the prophets before him.. even his Ummah was granted special features.. not given to other nations before it.. due to the blessing, of our prophet, Muhammad, (ﷺ) So, it is his right, (ﷺ), that we should recognize his merits.. and should tell others about them.. By the will of Allah, we will speak about this.. at the end of each episode.. of this blessed season.. To increase our love for him, (ﷺ).. and to increase believing in him, in out hearts.. And, by the will of Allah the good promise will be at the Resurrection Day.. when we meet with him, (ﷺ). So, let him be your role model! 'Do you know who is he?'.. 'the one whose his love is in my heart?'.. 'he wasn't even allowed to speak from his whims'.. 'from his rain, my heart is quenched' 'He is the one, whose from his light'.. 'the universe smile became illuminated'..' 'And, all has prayed Salat of remembering him'.. 'may Salat be upon him and upon his family'.. 'He is the intercessor'.. and he is the praised'.. 'Al-Mustafa (the chosen one)'.. ' raise Salat upon him'. 'With his speech the heart becomes soft'.. ' and his palm has flooded with affections'.. 'he had the best merits'.. 'he is the honest, the benevolent, and the trustworthy'. 'With his speech the heart becomes soft'.. 'and his palm has flooded with affections'.. 'he had the best merits'.. 'he is the honest, the benevolent, and the trustworthy'. 2 00:00:04,119 --> 00:00:08,059 3 00:00:09,134 --> 00:00:11,134 4 00:00:11,135 --> 00:00:13,135 5 00:00:13,335 --> 00:00:18,260 6 00:00:18,260
