Uh, well, the victim
had old bruises,

collapsed veins, and track marks
all over his arms --

that Dante had developed

a serious drug habit
and lived on the streets,

which, of course, would explain
his eight-month disappearance.

But we had to throw that theory
out once the report came back

from Dante's tox screen.

Our subject was able to walk out
of the medical examiner's office

with Dante's body
by impersonating
a morgue attendant.

He was smart enough
to cover his face

the surveillance cameras,

the license plate on his car.
