I find it appalling
how men like yourself

are treated in this country.

So he does a little vampire
parlor trick, as it were.

I believe there is great
opportunity in this city,

but to see that, I'll need
protection from the wolves.

There is a sort of
predator angle to this.

Louis fully admits later
I was being hunted.

Lestat would not see that.

Lestat would say I
was courting him.

That take Louis to a place

where he find the church is
the only place he can go.

He manages to pull it off...

The idea of being seen, the
idea of him being loved.
