back to that moment.

I let a little thing
like not being able to pronounce an R

get in my way for so many years.

So, that kind of spiraled me

into being
a socially awkward person,

in high school,

I had a really hard time
passing just for straight.

In my head, I didn't know
what was wrong with me,

but I think everyone around
could see it.

I was getting more
and more effeminate.

a guidance counselor.

have been intertwined,

so the drag of this future
doesn't look too gendered,

but rather the humanity
that it once was.

I made this costume
using vintage antlers

and various textiles.

I wanted the whole outfit

to feel like it was almost scavenged.

Next, Kimmy Couture.

of what we thought people
might've been back in the day,

before we were looking
this gorgeous.

a dancer, but it didn't click.

It wasn’t working as a duet.

of a struggle to me.

Irma helped me so much.

- I'm so surprised.

a pretty decent singing voice.

but the choreo
was just so disjointed.
