Taking a look at ways to do a criminal background check.

Now there's a number of ways to do this and we're going to be using, of course, open source resources.

A lot of web sites and a app to do this.

Now the accuracy of this stuff is going to be kind of dependent on the records itself.

So you do want to do a little bit more additional checking and we'll be going over that in a moment.

Also, this is primarily focused on the United States.

So the first one I want to show you is National Center of State Courts or NCC, and that can be found

at and CSC death search dot as QIC iCloud for such as for site search.

Now I'll be putting these links in the description of this course so you don't have to actually, you

know, try to remember all that.

Likewise, you always could do a Web search to find these sites.

Now, as we see here, the National Center of State Courts has several online records.

And on the first thing they put on the pages, online court records are not the same as background checks.

Online court records are not only you are not the official records of the court and and are provided

for informational purposes only and may be subject to error remission.

Users of these court systems are for have the responsibility to verify the accuracy, currency and completeness

of the information retrieved from those systems.

So with that said, it's kind of it's a good way to find out some information, some basic information.

Court wise about someone.

So again, use this as a basis.

Again, you do.

You want to do your due diligence and do additional research into into this?

So again, this is National Center of State Courts.

And you know, in the sidebar here, we can see we could view from the past week, month, three months,

six months a year.

So pretty cool website for that.

Another site to check out is Casa Court appointed special advocates for children.

Now this has a criminal statewide criminal background, check resources, and if you scroll down here,

you can see the various links depending on what state Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, California.

And you can click on those to do additional research.

You could also use general people's search programs like people or people where it is put in a generic

name, John Doe.

And we'll have them live in California.

And we can click on Search now this this typically can give you information if there is some sort of

criminal record now, if you're used to free one, it's most likely you're not going to get that.

Actual information will just tell you there potentially might be a criminal record and you will have

to pay for to find out the additional records, see if there actually is something or not.

There's also stuttered dud.

Now we're going to be talking about this during this course.

Or the dating section of those and of course.

And if you took the previous course for Olson, we did talk about this.

So stutter dud, if you are new to the course, is a app for Android, iOS or actually take the back.

I'm sorry, it's just a iOS app it appears to be in the intent for.

This is for online dating.

You can kind of do a light background check on on your potential date to find out, you know, if they

really are, you know what they're presenting themselves to be.

This is both for men and women.

Now this app is really great for Olson because it'll give you things like address age if they're been

married, court problems.

So you could find out about bankruptcy, criminal records, arrests and whatnot and give you that basic

information for free if you want to dig deeper in there.

I believe you are going to have to pay for it, but it'll give you kind of some basic information of

whether that person actually had a criminal record or not.

So again, this is a pretty handy program to use also if you have a iOS device.

So of course, there are other ways to do this.

Generally will cost more, more money to do it.

But these are some, you know, pretty easy ways to do a light background check on someone, a criminal

background check on a person.

And again, it's this was studied done by WhatsApp.

We have people also spoke you on any number of other people's search sites.

Don't fall generally use the same database, so the results should be about the same.
