but the strength
of the Chicago Fire Department

since I have been a member,

has been its reliance
on its battalion chiefs

to bridge the gap between the houses

and headquarters.

That's true.

First and foremost, I want what's best

for the citizens of Chicago.

My team at 51 saves lives.

Plain and simple.

My long-time lieutenants,

they did that very thing this morning.

That is why I put 'em together...

This went on for two solid weeks

until, eventually,
they stopped playing me.
